It took him almost two months to get back to mainland. Luckily for him, the ship had plenty of supplies on it plus he learned how to fish after a long time from his first lessons with Zeus, so food wasn't a problem. He was also quick to pick up how to sail a ship as big as this. The solitude wasn't much of a problem either as Jupiter was keeping him company. Plus, the spirit was getting used to his more physical form as he very much liked having a body of his own. The two also learned much more about their new contract together. One of the most important was the two way link they had with their bodies. This meant that they both experience any injuries one of them has. They found this out when Jupiter accidentally cut himself and Silver without realizing it. After that discovery, they both agreed Jupiter would have to be much more careful as it looked like any damage he took would be more bothersome than any damage the boy took.
In the present...
Jupiter: [Hey, you see that?]
The boy looked closer from where he was and saw mainland at last. From their position, it looked mostly like coastline. Thankfully, the compass they had said they only needed to go north for a bit more before they could land at Dizara. Hopefully, they would get answers there when they arrived. Several hours later, they managed to find a place to dock and they arrived. However, right as they landed, they found he docks filled with people armed and ready to fight.
Silver: Now what?
He was looking from the side of the ship, his mask still on and saw them looking at him with aggression.
Dock Worker A: You have some nerve to dock here, Scylla bastard!!
They threw insults at the boy, but the most offending was by far being noted as an ally who wiped out the village he briefly called home. His red eyes glowed from his mask as lightning enveloped him. In a flash, he disappeared from the boat and stood face to face with what looked to be the leader.
Silver: Imply I'm with those garbage again, and I'll make you regret it!
The person choked on his words before another person came walking in. He had a long, brown beard that was beginning to grey a bit as well as long hair of the same color that ran close to his back. He wore a slick, light blue vest, short cut pants and sandals. In his right hand was also a trident. The others turned to him and greeted the man.
Dock Worker A: Lord Poseidon!
Poseidon: What is all this ruckus early in the morning?
Dock Worker A: My lord, this ship belonging to the Scylla group docked here and that boy boarded off of it.
Poseidon: Oh? *To Silver* Tell me, child, are you with them?
Silver: No.
The boy gave him a stern glare and the god admired the fire in his eyes. Along with that, his divine power sensed no lie in his words.
Poseidon: He speaks the truth.
Dock Worker A: Yes, sir. Apologies for the confusion, sir!
Poseidon: Now, if I may ask, why are you in possession of one of their ships?
Silver: I actually have some business with you, Lord Poseidon. I can explain that as well if it is fine with you.
Poseidon: Of course. I'll take it as a way to make up for the confusion.
The god led him to a private bar stand and grabbed a whiskey for himself. The boy simply sat next to him.
Poseidon: Allow me to introduce myself properly. I am the god, Poseidon. I am also the head of the Poseidon Familia that operates in this port city.
Silver: My name is Silver Cranel. My father- I mean, my god, Zeus, said I was to arrive here to be under your care.
Poseidon: Zeus? Oh, yes, I do recall receiving a letter from him detailing about a special child of his by that same name. You're him? You don't match the description I got.
Silver: I don't?
Poseidon: No. He mentioned a boy with brown hair but yours isn't that color.
Silver: What? Of course it is.
Poseidon: Son, go peer in that water there.
Silver went to part of the pier and looked down. There, he saw his hair was not like he remembered it. It was now a sleek silver rather than his normal brown.
Silver: What?!
Jupiter: [Oh yeah, I should've told you, but when you unleashed my full power, your hair changed color.]
Silver: [You couldn't have told me earlier?!]
Jupiter: [I thought you knew!]
Silver: [No!]
Poseidon: Son?
Silver snapped out of his internal bickering.
Silver: *Sigh* I'm sorry. I'm confused too, but I swear I'm the same person as the one he mentioned.
Poseidon: Well, I can tell you're speaking the truth, but I'm not sure why your hair is different. Oh well, no matter. I agreed to take up my friend on his request. You'll be part of my Familia for the time until he tells me of your return.
Silver: Thank you.
He showed the man his back and they completed the conversion. Poseidon was also surprised to see what was on the boy's back.
Poseidon: Silver, you can level up.
Silver: I can?
Poseidon: Yes. I saw a glimpse of what you went through and that must have been quite an experience for you and for that spirit you're harboring.
Jupiter: [Whoops.]
Poseidon: Don't worry, I won't tell. I'm sure you have your reasons besides the fact of how rare it is.
Silver: Phew. Thank you.
Poseidon: Now then, I should ask whether you wish to proceed with the level up, however, seeing as how all your stats are maxed out, I think both of us know it's a waste of time to stay on your current level any longer.
Silver: Yeah, I agree. Let's go.
As requested, the god leveled him up.
Poseidon: Good. Now all we need is for you to choose your development ability. We have Spirit Healingor Engage.The first one is quite rare and one I've seen only a few times. If I remember right, your mind should heal whenever you cast magic so it will be perfect for you. The other increases your speed whenever you are fighting.
Silver: Honestly, both sound great, but I think the first one would help me more.

Right after, the boy felt an immense pressure coming from the deity.
Poseidon: *Menacing* I don't tolerate treason in my Familia. Try to double cross us, and I will personally make you regret everything.
The boy only trembled slightly but didn't let the god see it.
Silver: *Nods* Yes, sir.
Poseidon: *Calm* Then with that out of the way, I'd like you to tell me why you have that ship with you.
The boy then told his story. The one of his time in Orario matched what Zeus sent in his letter. Silver decided to skim through his time in Koro Nui. The guilt of his failure still remained. He did tell of his encounter with the Scylla and his vow to destroy them no matter what.
Poseidon: It looks like our goals align. As payment for my kindness, I ask you to do your best in ridding my seas of that plague.
Silver: That was my goal from the beginning and it would be my pleasure. All I ask for is a ship to locate them.
Poseidon: Haha! Rather bold of you to ask that, but I'll agree. Though, what of that ship you have.
Silver: Obviously, I'm going to sink that ship. Just looking at it makes me want to vomit.
Poseidon gained a smirk on his face when he said that.
Poseidon: Well well, we're more alike than I thought. I've lost a few good men myself to those pirates. *Holds out his hand* Let's both work together to take them out.
Silver smirked as well and they shook on it.
Timeskip 6 months...
In Orario, the city was in shock. The Zeus and Hera Familias had just reported a successful offensive on an Evilus base. Not only that, two more gods of the organization were banished back to heaven as well as the Familias disbanded and the members imprisoned. The two Familias led the offensive, but some weaker Familias had joined to take part as well. Those being Loki, Freya and some others as well.
With the Loki Familia...
Loki: Dammit!!! Why do those two have to get the support of the city?! My children worked their butts off too!!
Finn: Loki, the report did include all the Familias.
Gareth: Agh! The city only cares what those two do anyway. That's how it's always been.
Loki: Why the hell are you two so calm?! What about you, Noir? Don't you want to knock them down a peg? I'll never hear the end of it from Zeus!
The older looking human thought about it to himself.
Noir: It doesn't really matter what I think. It isn't like we could ever match up to them anyway. Both Finn and I are Level 4 and that's not going to cut it. Dain, you agree, right?
The dwarf spoke up.
Dain: Sure do. I was hoping I'd get a level up from that raid, but no luck. Not that it matters since my stats aren't very high for a Level 4 anyway.
Loki: *Slams the table* Argh!!! Curse those two!!
With Evilus...
Alecto and Apate had gathered some of the gods together. Needless to say, both were furious. Not only was a base discovered and destroyed, but they lost allies and valuable information that was now in the hands of their enemies. Now, they best chance to strike back would be with the two they left in each Familia. They did have some high level adventurers, but they wouldn't match up against the much stronger members of Zeus and Hera.
With Zeus and Hera...
The two were celebrating a successful raid against Evilus and had a feast prepared for both Familias. Many were also celebrating level ups. That also included Achilles and his party. All of them were able to rise to Level 3 and they were drinking with much joy.
Achilles: *Gulp* AH~ Good work to all of us!!
Hector: To four new Level 3s!!
All of them: CHEERS!!!
Clank*
Achilles: With any luck, we'll be Level 4s in no time!
Treiy: I'm quite surprised Patroclus and I managed to get this far. We don't nearly spar as much as you and Hector.
Patroclus: It doesn't matter much to me. I'm just glad I can still keep up with the team.
Hector: You weren't much of a drag to be honest.
Achilles: He's right. You're as much of this team as the rest of us. We wouldn't be the same without you.
Patroclus: Thanks!
They kept up with the food and drinks until Hector spoke up again.
Hector: So, I don't want to spoil the mood much, but that Hera girl is looking even worse than before.
They looked to Meteria and saw she was sitting by herself off in a corner. Her hair had grown even longer to the point her eyes were barely visible from her bangs. It was also slightly disheveled but that was because she had finished yet another session of training by herself. Still, her sense of self care had dropped by quite a lot so she didn't spend as much thought on it. By now, she was more or less driven by anger of her Familia. By now, Callisto and the others found some clues of foul play at work. This worried Hera as the last thing she wanted to admit was that she was wrong but she also wanted definitive proof of it should it need to come to that. For Zeus, he had managed to get over his initial sadness with Silver, but couldn't fully return to his normal self. He felt better at the time he felt the boy convert, but was now anxious as he wouldn't know if anything happened to him.
Achilles: Hey, I already tried inviting her over so she wasn't alone, but she didn't budge. Guess she's still not over that guy leaving.
Treiy nodded and looked over to where she was.
Treiy: So, they still haven't found anything?
Achilles: Not from what I've heard. The Captain and the others have spent a lot of time finding clues, but they're still coming up short.
Hector: Judging by how hard they search, it looks like they aren't going to give up on it anytime soon.
Patroclus: Yeah.
With the Executives...
Zald: Still nothing?
Chiron: *Frustrated* Nothing. We've interrogated so many yet there are no clues connecting the boy's framed crime.
Maxim: If it were going to be easy, we'd have found it ages ago. We just have to keep looking.
Chiron: The only good thing coming from this is we get to break down Evilus with each attack.
Zald: Mm.
The man kept up with his drinks as the party continued. As he did, he noticed June depressingly eating by herself after some of her friends left for other tables. Seeing her quiet distress, he went to next to her.
June: *Sigh*
Zald: That was quite a sigh.
June: I just... I don't know what else to do. I feel so confused and...
Zald: I'll hear you out.
The woman nodded and began to tell him of recent events.
June: I've just been struggling to help with the Young Lady's health and well-being. Ever since that boy left, she's been in a depressed and raging state I've rarely seen from anyone.
Zald: Mm.
June: She was such a sweet girl before. I could say I see her and her sister like my own kids.
Zald: Ha! You're not old enough to be saying that.
The woman gained a small bit of red on her cheeks but kept her composure.
June: I'm almost 30, you know.
Zald: Really? Could've fooled me.
June: *A-Anyway, I'm not sure if there's any way to get through to her. I feel like such a failure.
Zald: Not being able to help a single person doesn't make you a failure.
June: Doesn't it? Meteria is a a good girl. She doesn't deserve to be like this. I should be able to do more for her.
Zald: Maybe, but you don't have to beat yourself up for it. You're too beautiful to be acting like this.
June was looking away from him and she would be glad she did. Had she not been, Zald might have seen the look of shock on her face along with the nice shade of red it took on. As for Zald, he too was blushing a bit and mentally scolding himself.
Zald: (What is wrong with you?! It doesn't matter if it's true; you can't just blurt stuff like that out, you idiot!!)
After several awkward moments of silent, the two gained enough of their composure to continue drinking. At least, Zald did. June was freaking out inside. While she felt happy he thought of her that way, her heart was pounding way too hard. She looked to try and escape, but the other maids she would work with smirked and shook there heads, telling her to stay where she was.
June: (You cannot do this to me!! I feel like my chest is going to burst if I stay here any longer!!)
Zald was beginning to feel the nerves get to him too. He thought about drinking some more, but that ran the risk of much worse things happening so he held off on that. Sadly, June wouldn't be the same. One of the maids disguised themselves and sneakily gave her small amounts of booze which she drank over and over. By the time the party was over, June was already in the drunken cutesy state Zald had gotten more and more attracted to as much as the normal June. Later that night, he finally carried her to her room and laid her on her bed. However, he wouldn't be allowed to leave as June herself pouted and slammed her part of the bed, clearly stating he needed to stay with her. Knowing going against her like this was a waste of time, he got in as well and threw the covers over them.
June: *Drunk* *Hic* So, you still think I can help that girl?
Zald: You'll still try your best like you always do.
June: *Smiles* Okay.
She yawned as sleep took control over her. She threw her arms around him and slowly fell asleep before muttering under her breath.
June: *Sleepy* I love you...
The man blushed more as the woman confessed without entirely knowing it. Much of him felt happy but the embarrassment was a bit much. While eventually did, it took some time before he could fall asleep.
In Dizara...
Sailor A: Hey, have you heard the rumors about some new monster in the sea?
Sailor B: That ship sinking creature?
Sailor A: Yeah. It's supposed to be a scary monster that can sink entire ships, leaving no man behind. Several already fell to it.
Sailor B: What's new about it?
Sailor A: Apparently, a few merchant ships were able to pass by it just fine. It was a foggy night and the ocean was calm. However, they saw what was a single glowing red eye in the distance. It's why they're starting to call it the Red-Eyed Charybdis, the ship sinker.
Sailor B: How'd they get by?
Sailor A: No idea. No one does. Maybe they were lucky, but the point is that monster is still out there.
Sailor B: Let's just hope the Poseidon Familia can deal with them.
With Silver...
In the last few months, the boy had more than proven himself. Countless times, he showed his worth and then some. As agreed, Poseidon granted him a ship to use as they worked together. In the few months he captained it, he made some progress. However, while he didn't get as many details about Scylla as he would have liked, he did manage to recruit several allies to be part of his crew. While on the sea, Silver would wear his Kanohi Mask but once docked, he removed it. This time was the same as he and his crew got off their boat.
With the boy came other young men slightly older looking than him. After him was a was boy with dark grey hair and blue eyes. This was Rhodi, Silver's First Mate. After him was a ginger man with dark yellow eyes. He was Ferrum and he was the lead navigator in the crew. Another was a werewolf man with cream colored fur. He was Tungsten and he was Silver's right hand with anything relating to battle. The werewolf helped guide the others should a Naval Battle occur. This was for good reason as Silver's favorite tactic of his was to use his speed and power to board enemy ships and sink in on the spot while escaping himself.
Next was an amazon girl. She had dark colored hair but a unique pair of dark blue eyes. She was Quartermaster of the ship and her name was Coba. She was able to earn this spot due to her tireless devotion to the crew, mainly Silver. The two met in Dizara after a small accident. She came from Telskyura and after he bumped into her on accident, they had a fight in which he easily defeated her. That earning both her loyalty and her heart as she loyally served next to him.
Thankfully, she got along with the others as they had their troubling pasts as well. Rhodi lost his parents to a flood and later, his younger brother to a bandit attack. Later, he discovered they were also part of Scylla, so he and Silver managed to bond quickly, forming both a strong friendship and an equally stronger master-student bond. Ferrum used to be part of a small business that went bankrupt. Silver found him on a whim and offered him a small position in his ship for a time and the man accepted. There, he would discover both his gift for seaway navigation but also respect for the young boy. Silver showed he was a capable leader and a powerful fighter as Ferrum was initially scared they would be going after a notorious pirate group. However, seeing the boy's fighting prowess fueled his confidence in the boy. Tungsten was part of a harsh tribe of werewolves that lived by survival of the fittest. After taking an injury that would knock out a normal person for months, he was left for dead before Silver and his crew found him having a scuffle with some other sailors by the dock. The boy would have to fight the werewolf to calm him down, but after, Silver invited him to join seeing his natural gift for fighting. The boy was looking for capable people in case his ship was boarded. Having him and Coba was reassuring.
Speaking of Coba, being smitten for the boy, she would always make advances on him whenever possible, even sneaking into his quarters at night. Being a young 14 years old, they were very close in terms of age as well. Of course, the boy turned her down everytime. When asked about why, he told her he had someone to return to one day. She was saddened to hear that and of what happened. Even so, she was not inclined to give up and offered to join with her anyway should he be fine with it. He simply told her it was all on Meteria when that day arrived. Until then, she would enjoy all the time with him as she could.
Right now, they were busy sailing to a small port town that was hiding another base of operations Scylla used.
Silver: Ferrum, what are you seeing up there?
Ferrum: Land! Straight ahead, Captain!!
The boy nodded and prepared everyone to dock at that place. The team was very tightly bound together. Each member respected the other and everyone was in very good relations. Not just with Silver and the crew, but a smaller additition some time back also influenced them, but for the good.
???: Papa. Me?
A little girl tugged on his pants. She looked around 3 years old. She had very light blonde, almost white, hair and green eyes. She was abandoned somewhere in Dizara and Silver found her and took her in. She quickly grew attached and referred to him as her father since she was 2. As she grew and learned to talk, the crew were forced to bond even tighter as they had an innocent little one to look after as well. Coba took a fast liking to the girl as well, but the girl rather called her an older sister instead of a mother. It hurt in the moment, but Coba moved past it as she and the others adored her. The others treated her much like a princess or sorts, but more or less pampered her as much as they could. All of them joined with Silver in the Poseidon Familia and took part in the boy's quest.
Silver: Just hold on tight, Hafnia.
The girl nodded and gripped the pole next to her tightly as the boy kept steering the ship. Within less than an hour, they landed on the town and exited the ship.
Silver: It should be close by.
Rhodi: Which way, Captain?
Silver: [This way.]
Jupiter: [I do sense presences that way which are slightly stronger than the others here. Might be a good place to start.]
Silver: Follow me. Rhodi, you and Hafnia stay with the ship.
Rhodi: Aye, sir!!
Silver: Be a good girl, okay?
Hafnia: *Salutes* Yes, Papa!!
He smiled before turning to the others.
Silver: Now then, let's get moving.
They nodded and followed the boy as he led them to where they would begin searching. That would be to an abandoned facility.
Jupiter: *Blank* Typical. Well, I already know where they all are.]
Silver: [Let's get this over with.] Stay on guard, everyone.
They went inside and it was mostly quiet. However, after a few moments, the hidden people sprang out and tried to ambush them. It worked a little on the others, but Silver was ready for them. The few that went for him were cut down in an instant by his spear. In his time at sea, the bo picked up spearmanship as even Poseidon was eager to train the boy. After that, the boy worked hard and quickly mastered wielding a spear. Also, the boy had quickly proven that mercy was to be earned. No one was entitled to it and as such, he mercilessly killed anyone related to Scylla. Jupiter didn't exactly share the same sentiment, but could only do so much to quell the anger in the boy.
Back in the present, they all managed to regain their footing and turn the tide in their favor. Tungsten was skilled with broadswords. He wielded two and once and used his great strength and speed to overwhelm his opponents. Not only that, he was used to fighting multiple people at once. Coba too was good at fighting, though she preferred hand to hand combat. She was busy keeping Ferrum in one piece as he wasn't as skilled in fighting as the others. Soon, they ended the fight and left only a few to interrogate.
Silver: Where are the rest of your bases?
Scylla Grunt A: I-I don't know!
SNAP*
The man cried out when Silver broke one of his arms.
Scylla Grunt A: AHHH!!! O-Okay!! I'll talk!!
After him, they sucked the rest of the information from the others before Silver disposed the rest of them.
Back at the ship...
Rhodi: Where to now, Captain?
Silver: There's an island hosting more of them. Apparently in a cave.
Ferrum: This could be a trap. Captain.
Silver: I'm aware. Nothing changes. Let's keep moving.
They arrived at the cave and Silver once again ordered one of them to stay behind with his daughter. Coba volunteered and the rest of the men ventured onto the small island before finding a cave.
Silver: This should be the place. Come on.
They followed him but as they entered, they saw that there were clothes and furs which showed someone was using this cave. Once deeper, large footsteps were heard behind them and they saw a towering man looking down at them. Silver raised his torch and saw the man had one of his eyes missing as only a patch of flesh was where it should have been.
Tall Man: Who are you?
His thunderous voice intimidated the others with the boy. Being only Level 1s still, they felt a frontal assault would be needlessly bloody.
Rhodi: *Whispering* W-What now? We can't fight that person!
Silver: I suppose you're right.
Jupiter: [Wait, can't you-]
Silver: [No no, shut up. This is going to be good.] Apologies for the rude intrusion. My name is Nobody and these men are part of my crew. We were merely looking for a place to rest for a moment.
Tall Man: What kind of name is Nobody?
Silver: *Blank* I don't recall ever hearing yours.
Polyphemus: Polyphemus!
Silver: ...right. Well, if this is a bother, I guess we'll be on our way.
Polyphemus: I'm afraid that chance has passed. I blocked the entrance to my cave as I entered. No one leaves without my say.
Ferrum: You mean we're stuck in here?!
Tungsten: Captain, I know you can break down some normal rock!
Silver shook his head. While his men panicked, inside, he and Jupiter were snickering.
Polyphemus: You all are in luck. I've already had my fill, so I don't need to eat one of you today.
Rhodi: *Scared* E-Eat us?!
Ployphemus: Of course. My people don't care what the food is. I'll find sustenance one way or another. *Yawn* Well, I'll see one of you for breakfast for tomorrow.
He left and all of them were seemingly terrified. Silver casually slumped next to a wall and closed his eyes while the others panicked.
Rhodi: Captain, we need to do something!! From what he said, there might be more of these cannibals!!
Tungsten: What now?!
Silver: I will do... nothing.
The men despaired at that as they thought all hope was lost. However, once they heard snoring, the boy got up and made his move. He went over to the sleeping man, took out his spear and stabbed it into his other eye. Polyphemus cried out it pain and eventually woke up the others in other levels.
Cannibal A: What the hell are you screaming for?!
Polyphemus: *In pain* It was Nobody!! Nobody stabbed my eye!!
Cannibal B: Then quit your crying!! Some of us are trying to sleep you little bitch!!
The boy snickered before joining the others on the ground.
Tungsten: C-Captain?
Silver: Guess it was a trap. They led us here to try and get eaten. Oh well, I just wanted to have a little fun before we left.
Ferrum: S-So you can get us out of here?!
Silver: Yup.
The newer member were not yet accustomed to how the boy worked. Today, they learned he enjoyed messing with opponents who treated him like game pieces. Once on the ship, they told Coba of it and she laughed it off before huffing about not being there to see that.
Rhodi: If they were trying to lure us into a trap, they must be desperate. We have knocked out several of their posts already.
Silver: Not good enough. I'm not stopping until I've destroyed them all. I'll have peace of mind once they've been dealt with.
And so, they set sail once more to find more clues as to the rest of the Scylla. Meanwhile, with their main heads, they had been suffering blow after blow from them. Their pirate group was slowly crumbling and they were running out of options.
Scylla Leader: Damn that Charybdis!! Half our ships are gone!! We even control of most of our lands and men!!
He held his head in his hand wondering what they were going to do now.
Timeskip 15 months...
After much time, the boy had reached a massive stride in his goal. His crew grew larger and they now had two other ships with them. Silver was near the end of his level and the others were climbing theirs as well. Poseidon himself was very much pleased by his work. Normally, he would be furious to hear his children were hurt or killed while sailing, but while this boy had been with him, he noticed that news was less and less present. The god grew to like the boy as did the others in his Familia. Silver did not mingle much with them as he spent much of his time hunting the Scylla overseas.
In the present, they were now mere steps away from finishing the boy's goal. They had the last remnants of the pirate group cornered. All the other members were killed and now only the leader remained.
Scylla Leader: Grr... damn you!! Charybdis, my empire crumbled all because of you!!
Silver: Your plague has spread far enough. This is the last time I'll see your ugly face again.
The boy stepped towards the beaten man, but the leader had not yet given up hope.
Scylla Leader: (This won't end like this.)
He gripped a vial in his hand and inside was a small, snake-like creature.
Scylla Leader: I'll make you pay for everything that's happened. Even if I give up my humanity to do it!!
He downed the vial and the snake creature entered his body. After that, he screamed and spat blood before his body mutated before all of them. His back hunched and spines grew out of it while his. His face arrowed and began morphing into a snake as a tail also sprouted from his back. His skin turned a dark brown and he turned to face them. What they saw in front of them was no longer human, but a monster unlike anything they had seen before. The creature's face opened and it snarled at them in hostility.
Rhodi: What in the world!?
Tungsten: Shit!! What did he do?!
Silver was stunned as well. From his mask, he felt a strange light and power inside him. Jupiter was caught off guard too and both felt their worlds spinning before it calmed down. When it did, a voice spoke to them.
???: Rahkshi.
Silver: [What?]
Jupiter: [Who's there?!]
Inside him, they found a small yellow light which felt similar to what Jupiter was before he and Silver merged closer.
Jupiter: [Who are you?]
???: I am the spirit that dwelled in the wood of the tree you cut his mask from.
SIlver: [The Great Tree?]
Ignika: [Yes. You may call me Ignika. What you see before you is a Rahkshi. A being of darkness born from it.]
Coba: Silver, look out!!
Clang*
The creature brought out a spear which Silver blocked with his. The boy soon felt immense strength coming from is and he was being pushed back.
Rhodi: Captain!!
Silver: Stay back!! It's too strong for you!!
He grunted as he pushed the monster off of him. From there, he used his lightning spell to empower himself further. The two clashed weapons again. Silver dodged multiple swings and landed some of his own. However, he found out the creature had a hardened exterior that would be difficult to cut through. Their battle raged on and Silver was on the back foot.
Clang*
Silver: GAH!!!
He fell to the ground as he was knocked away by it. The creature went to slash at him while he was down, but the boy managed to catch his spear and the two grappled on the ground. His crew could only was since they knew they would only get in the way. Silver was leagues above them and they had no chance against this monster. He looked at their horrified faces, but the one that snapped him was Hafnia's when one of the members came from chasing after her. She looked scared and worried for the boy when she saw him like this. Once he saw her face, something happened to him. He felt immense strength and his mask began to glow red. Even his lightning grew more violent and he got up from the ground. He yelled and threw the monster aside before placing his hands together. As he separated them, he generated a lance of electricity and fought the monster again. This time. he was the one with the advantage. The bright light was dazing the creature as Silver slashed and stabbed at it, each time burning the monster on contact.
Silver: RAAAAGH!!!
Rhodi: You can do it, Captain!!
Hafnia: Go, Papa!!
Silver: YAAAHH!!!
He stabbed at its shoulder and shifted his spear, ripping one of its arms off. It cried out in pain before trying to punch him. This made Silver catch it and cut off the other before channeling his magic into his hands and casting a lightning spell at it. The monster cried out in pain before slumping, lifeless. The monster slowly disintigrated before all that remained was a tiny snake once more. Silver killed that too before he led his crew out of the place and back to their boats.
Silver: *Smiling* Thank you, everyone.
Rhodi: We should be thanking you. The whole city should. You were the main reason we were able to finally get rid of all the Scylla.
Tungsten: He's right, Captain.
Silver: Still, I couldn't have done it with out all of you.
Ferrum: I bet Lord Poseidon is going to be thrilled when he hears about it.
Coba: I'm still glad you were able to beat that monster. I was so shocked when that man started transforming.
Silver: Me too. Not that it matters now. He's done. Scylla is gone and this place can finally move on. [I was also able to avenge you all. You can rest easy now, Rua, everyone.]
Coba: Guys, let's head to the dining table.
Rhodi: Right.
He stared up at the sky and they left him alone, knowing this was typical of him when he wanted personal space. In his head, he and Jupiter were still busy with the newcomer.
Jupiter: [So, you mean you're the Great Spirit living in that tree back on Mata Nui? The one the others worshipped?]
Ignika: [I am, or was. I'm simply a normal spirit like all the others.]
Silver: [What happened?]
Ignika: [I was betrayed. Someone I thought of as a brother cast me out and stole my power. I did what I could to stop him and sealed him away before he could complete his ultimate goal.]
Silver: [Let me guess. He wanted to rule the world or have total power or something.]
Ignika: [That would be accurate enough. I know not where he is now, but I know you will play a big part in future events to come.]
Jupiter: [Are you going to take over his body or something?]
Ignika: [No, I am merely here to aid in his destiny however I can. The world is still under threat of him. If the Rahkshi are being reproduced, then he must have been freed. The world will be in danger if he is left unchecked.]
Silver: [I see.]
Ignika: [There is much work to be done, Young Toa. I ask, will you help save it?]
Silver: [To be honest, I'm not interested in being some hero. I have my own people to return to and a promise to keep.]
Ignika: [Hm, I understand. Well then, if it is to aid in a Toa's duty, then that is enough for me. However, know this, my brother will not stand idly by. He will rise one day to finish what he started.]
Silver: [Makes no difference to me. If he wants to threaten the people I care about, then he'll be dealing with me.]
Jupiter: [Well, we don't even know who or where he is or their forces. We may as well just follow through with our original plan like always.]
Silver: [Right.]
Ignika: [Allow me to just give you a word of warning. Not really a warning, but a phrase of prophecy predicting your future.]
Silver: [My future?]
Ignika: [Yes. You wear a Great Kanohi Mask carved from the Great Tree. I, a spirit of life, and a former Great Spirit have seen glimpses of the future. A great event will take place soon when my brother makes his move.]
Silver: [I understand. So, what does my future say?]
Ignika: [The path to your unity is clear. The path to your duty and destiny lie at the heart of Metru Nui.]
The other two blinked at that cryptic message.
Jupiter: [Our unity? Well, we have each other and the guys with the crew too.]
Silver: [Still, Metru Nui?]
Jupiter: [The Great City...]
Silver and Jupiter: [Orario!!]
