"Status report." A Squidzilla Commander ordered.
"Sir, we are currently engaged in multiple firefights with the Fuzzy Octarians and stealing their equipment and technology for future reverse engineering for the future use of the Dark One's army." A Dark Gryphon reported.
An Abyssal Octopot slithered over to him. "Sir! We got a report that Team CFVY and those other allies of the Luminary are here!"
"What?! Those blasted nuisances are here?! What should we do now?!" Another Squidzilla asked, already sweating at the thought of being calamari by everyone. "They've gotten stronger over the months ever since the Phazon War… not to mention they have the Doom Slayer and-"
"Enough!" The commander ordered. "One third of you, go out and continue fighting the Fuzzy Octarians. Another third of you, keep those blasted nuisances at bay, and the rest of you, take the equipment back to base. We are not going to get overwhelmed by two forces here, especially since there's a rumor about a treasure for the Dark One's uses. And you!" He pointed to another Squidzilla commander. "Tell the other Squidzilla Commanders at the other sites about those nuisances."
"Very well!"
"Alright, a handful of our malicious monsters, come forth!" He ordered as some Malicious Bloopers, Cheep Chomps, Octoroks, Fish Bones and Choppers arrived. "Prepare to blindside both enemy forces when both sides are engaged in combat with us at the same time."
With a nod, they dove into the water… all of them unaware of a Killing Machine watching them through binoculars. "Hmm…" He mused as he put some calculations into his calculator. "Okay… with the odds against Team CFVY and friends, I'd say they have about a seventy five percent chance of survival, given how they've gotten stronger since the Phazon War…"
He shuddered. "The Phazon War…"
Flashback…
"You refuse my Phazon, Tech?" Dark Samus asked.
"And get it all over my circuitry? Forget it! I'd rather side with Lady Marnie and her friends that don't have Phazon. At least they're still sane!"
"Oh, but they'll become one with my Phazon soon. After all, that's what I did with Cinder."
"You what?! …I may not like that woman, but even I think that's too far!"
"Oho, you think so?"
"Yes. As a matter of fact, I'm out of here. Forget you and your Phazon! You have a probability of a hundred percent where you'll fail."
"Is that so?" Dark Samus snapped her fingers as Phazon tentacles came out and grabbed a hold of the Killing Machine.
"Mmmph! What are you-"
Dark Samus smirked behind her helmet. "Then let's lower that probability."
"What are you doing? Get away from me, you demon! No! No! NOOOO-"
Dark Samus karate chopped his body, shattering it in seconds as his dismantled body lay on the ground. "Space Pirates, come pick up this trash on the ground and take it to the scrap heap. This robot outlived his usefulness." She said, stepping on his calculator to crush it.
In the present…
"Took them weeks to repair me… stronger armor, a new calculator… by the time they got my memory drive back in order, I heard that Dark Ruby was finally dealt with. Oh, how I wished I was there."
He sighed before shaking his head. "No matter. I did what was right and stood up to that phazon menace. I'm glad I'm back to being fully operational thanks to Captain Slime."
He turned around. "Now then, time to catch up to CFVY and the others before it's too late." He ran off shortly after.
Meanwhile…
BGM: Sudden Depth (Splatoon 3)
A hatch opened up as everyone came shooting out, landing on their feet and sliding. "Whew, what a rush!" Coco said.
"Hnnngh!" A voice grunted as they saw Octavio stuck.
"You need some help?" Marie asked.
"Hmmph! I don't need help from any of you! I can… hnngh! Get out of… mmmph… here!"
Octavio's tentacles fell limp. "Okay, I need help…" He mumbled as Captain Three, Callie, Sun, Yatsuhashi and Komaru pulled him out. "Hrrrah! Aaah, much better!"
"How did he fit in in the first place?" Coco wondered.
"Hard work and determination!" Octavio said.
"I used rope." Captain Three mumbled, hanging on to said rope. "Guess it unraveled."
Callie walked over toward the edge, looking at the rocket in question. "I wonder if we'll get to that rocket at one point. It intrigues me!"
"Maybe…" Marie said, her voice trailing off.
"Hmm? Something up?"
"Oh, I was wondering where he could be. I called him up earlier."
"He? …Oh, you mean Azure?" Callie asked.
"Agent Four."
"Eh, tentacle, tent-ah-ticle."
"...What." Coco deadpanned.
"I don't think we say that… and if we do, I've been underground way too long." Octavio said.
"We don't." Ikura said.
"We don't? Aww… could've sworn we did…" Ribbon mumbled.
"Or maybe we do…?" Ikura rubbed her head. "Honestly, I've been destroying Salmonds for too long." She glanced over at Cari Bean. And I let one slip by me.
"Alright! Let's see what we can find here throughout all this fur!" Oobleck said.
"Agreed. I'm sure we could-"
"Hiiiiii!"
"Huh?" Nagisa looked up, as did the others, where they saw Frye casually sitting next to a larger kettle.
Becky gasped. "Frye!" Her eyes sparkled.
"What's she doing up there?" Magnolia wondered.
"Oh, just thought I'd have myself a snack break, watching you guys do your thing. Don't mind me, I'm just eating some milk chocolate!" Frye said, munching on a chocolate bar. "Mmm! Squid Kats are so good!" She broke off a piece and happily munched on it.
"I guess we'll leave her be for now." Namine said as they walked to the respective kettles, with the Inklings and Octolings squid jumping over to the other kettles.

World 2-1: Twirling, Swirling, Whirling - Scout, Coco, Velvet, Heavy, Komaru
BGM: Flop to It (Splatoon 3)
"Three lives, activated."
"So, you're saying our weapons got… Inkified?" Velvet asked.
"Yeah, pretty much." Coco nodded.
"Heavy's still not a fan of it." Heavy grumbled.
"Oh, cheer up, big guy. I'm sure it'll be back to normal once we figure out this Fuzzy Ooze mess!" Komaru smiled, patting him on the back.
"I dunno, I kinda like it." Scout said.
Velvet sweatdropped. "Oh dear." She grimaced as they walked through and found the first fuzzy Octarian in a spinning platform. Velvet immediately snapped a picture… only for the camera to turn into a Trizooka and obliterated the Octarian. "Huh?!"
"Whoa… what ya got in your camera there?" Coco wondered as Velvet took a look.

"What happened to my camera?! Where did these modes come from?!" Velvet wondered in surprise.
"Goodness… that's quite the… upgrade, I guess?" Coco scratched her head as Komaru took a look.
"...Oh my. So many different modes! Wonder what they all do."
"Eh, we'll figure that out later. You still have your other features?"
Velvet looked through her camera. "Yeah, they're all still here." She pressed a button as Crescent Rose appeared in her hands.
"That's a relief… otherwise I'd find a way to strangle ORCA." Coco said as they walked off, shooting down a patrolling Octotrooper as they would soon come across a Shielded Octotrooper.
"I got this!" Scout smirked as he immediately ran off as the Octarian shot at him, but thanks to Scout's quick agility, he was able to get behind him and then destroyed him by shooting him. "Bam! I make it look easy!"
"Of course you do." Komaru chuckled as they went up a floor as Heavy saw an Octocommander as he aimed his minigun and fired as the Octocommander did the same, both of their ink bullets hitting the other… but the Octocommander was splatted in no time flat.
"Need some healing?" Coco asked.
"Ha! Ink doesn't sting as bad as regular bullets!" Heavy said proudly as they went up the ramps and found some Octosnipers on rotating platforms.
Coco smirked, pulling out her Ultra Stamp as she pulled her arm back, extended her thumb… and right as an Octosniper came into view, she threw it as the Octosniper was sniped before it could realize what the heck just happened.
"Booyah!" Coco fist pumped as Scout swung his Sandman, the baseball flying as it hit the other Octosniper to stun it, then he threw his Flying Guillotine, splatting it instantly.
"Now that's what I'm talkin' about!" Scout said, high fiving Coco as they walked through, Komaru, Heavy, and Velvet taking out the stragglers as they picked up their Ultra Stamp/Baseball and cleaver as they made their way to the goal.
"Now that was easy!" Coco said.

World 2-2: Absorbency and You - Mukuro, Marie, Sniper, Chihiro, Mondo, Toko
"Three Lives, Activated."
BGM: Nine out of Tension (Splatoon 3)
"This seems like a good sniping spot." Marie said.
"Yeah!" Sniper nodded as they walked through and immediately came across a sponge.
"Ah, sponges. I wondered if we'd run into them." Marie mused as Mukuro and Chihiro fired at the sponge as it grew.
"Ooooh, so that's how it works…" Chihiro mused as they climbed up, though Marie casually swam up as they would see Octarians on the platforms. Marie immediately got on one knee and shot them, with Sniper backing her up.
Mukuro ran, immediately dodge rolling an ink shot from an Octarian and splatted him with little effort as Chihiro and Toko did the same thing while Mondo took a more… direct approach with his Stamper.
They climbed up the tower until they found a Launchpad and launched away, landing in the next area as they climbed/swam up some more spongers and were met with more Blobby Octotroopers as Mukuro made quick work on them without even getting inked while Marie and Sniper sniped the ones that were furthest away as they rounded the corner as Mondo cut through the Octotroopers.
"Heh! These are nothing." He said as they climbed up as Toko made two sponge platforms while Sniper took care of the Octotrooper from afar.
"I have to admit, your weapons seem to outshine my own… think I could take it for a spin sometime?" Marie asked.
Sniper chuckled. "I got a lot of 'em. When we're done here, I'll show ya."
"Alright!" Marie nodded with a soft smile as they launched away from a Launchpad shortly after as they landed on the last spot where Sniper sniped the Octarians easily as they made their way to the goalpost after Marie splatted the last two.
"Area secured." Mukuro said.
"That wasn't… too bad." Toko admitted.

World 2-3: Soak It To Me! - Junko, Leon, Ink Fresh
"Three lives, activated."
BGM: Underwater Neon (Splatoon 3)
Ooooh no… Leon thought as he noticed that no one was around to protect him from Sayaka.
"Alriiiiight! Let's get our ink on!" Junko grinned as she walked off.
"Uh… Junko…?"
Junko turned her head. "Oh hey girlfriend~!"
"Hey!" Sayaka smiled.
Come on, work with me here. Leon begged with his eyes as Junko noticed this and smiled.
"How about you get reacquainted with Sayaka and her squid pals right along with me?"
Leon froze in shock. "HUH?!"
"Oh splat yes! That sounds like fun!" Coral said.
"Don't have too much fun without us!" Titania said as the girls and Junko walked off, leaving Sayaka and Leon behind.
"No… wait… come back…!" Leon grimaced.
"Sooooo, um… lovely weather, huh?"
"Uh… yeah…" Leon nodded as they walked off together while Junko curiously swung her Octo Brush on a Soaker Block, where it made a set number of platforms appear.
"Ooooh! Now we're talking!" Junko smiled.
"I think these are called Soaker Blocks… I could totally be wrong, though." Star said.
"Yeah, they are." Fugu nodded. "Heard from the Squid Labs they were making these but I never saw them in public…"
"Eh, maybe they would be too OP in battle." Coral said.
"I dunno, it'd make some areas more fun… looking at YOU, Eeltail…" Titania grumbled.
"Or Mincemeat." Coral mumbled as they continued playing around with the Soaker Blocks to their heart's content with Leon and Sayaka awkwardly looking away from each other.
I… never thought this would be difficult… Sayaka admitted.
Geez… you go back to kill her and you can't say "I'm sorry"? Agh…! Leon groaned.
"Did… did you say something?"
"Oh, not at all… did… did you say something?"
"Um… no."
Titania looked behind her. "Yikes… it's like you can cut through the tension with a Splatana."
"Soooo… fill us in, Junko. What's with them? Trouble in paradise with those two or…?" Fugu asked.
"Well… how do I put this…"
As they progressed, Leon and Sayaka awkwardly cleared their throats, wanting to see what the other would say. Instead, they were met with awkward glances and awkwardly rubbing their shoulders.
"Aaaaah, I see!" Star nodded after they took care of the Octosniper. "Lover's quarrel!"
"THAT'S what you got out of "Squid Game"?" Coral sweatdropped. "Geez, glad you reformed otherwise we'd have another Squid Game in our tentacles…"
"We would just respawn, wouldn't we?" Titania wondered.
"I… doubt it." Fugu said as they took care of the enemies and then used another Soaker Block to get past another Octosniper before ambushing it.
"Are they making any progress?" Junko asked.
"Awkwardly looking away from each other." Titania said.
Junko clicked her tongue. "Yeeeeah, I figured this would be a long road for those two…" She said, kicking a sprinkler away and swinging her Octobrush to get rid of the purple wall before before them as they hit the final Soaker Block to advance to the goal.
"Well… uh… it was… nice catching up with you!" Leon said.
"Yeah… you too…" Sayaka nodded, frowning as Leon darted straight for the goal as she sighed sadly as Junko took notice of this.
I wonder if I could find a way to get those two to chat…

World 2-4: Splitting Crosshairs - Namine, Pyro, Yatsuhashi, Fox
"Three Lives, activated."
BGM: Ride or Fry (Splatoon 3)
"Okay… what are we doing here… ah, destroying boxes on Octowashers? Shouldn't be too bad." Namine said.
"I have a feeling you probably jinxed us." Yatsuhashi said as he slashed the boxes while Fox punched an Octowasher, sending it crashing into the other two and destroying the rest, which, in turn, caused a Ride Rail to appear.
"Mmmph mmph?"
"I guess we're grinding!" Namine hopped on along with the other three as they saw Octowashers with boxes near them as they were heading straight toward a dead end as Namine and Pyro used their flamethrowers to destroy them, causing another ink rail to appear.
"Mmph mmph!"
"Yeah, and if we don't, we're gonna fall… stay sharp!" Namine said as they hopped down and destroyed more boxes as the rails took them straight for the finish line, but they would soon come across four Octowashers with green boxes and one with a red box as the four of them used everything they had to destroy the red box, making the last rail appear.
"Phew…" Yatsuhashi sighed.
"I know, that was a bit dicey, but we pulled through!" Namine smiled as they hopped off and reached the goal.

World 2-5: Tread Heavily - Becky, Magnolia, Nick, Logue, Oobleck
"Three Lives, Activated."
BGM: Seep and Destroy (Splatoon 3)
"Do the lives even matter?" Magnolia wondered as they walked over and spotted a Crab Tank sitting in front of them.
"Ooooh!" Becky's eyes sparkled as she hopped inside.
"Do you even know how to operate that thing?" Nick wondered.
"I doubt it…" Magnolia said, and then noticed that Becky curled up into a ball, causing the Crab Tank to manuever around as she then put it back into attack mode and shot out ink in a rapid fire action and shot off ink missiles. "Oooor maybe she does!"
"She figured that one out fast…" Logue said.
Becky smiled. "Reminds me of the mini tank I have back at home!"
"Ah, yes! I had a feeling Miss Blackbell would have experience in that field." Oobleck said nonchalantly.
"Wait, you have a WHAT at home?!" Magnolia said in surprise.
"Yeah! Dad let me bring it home with me. It's great for sniping Nevermores out of the sky! Seriously, sometimes me and bro have competitions to see who can knock down the most Grimm outside of the city! Of course, he gets the bigger tanks but… whatevs!"
"Aaaaand you never told us you just have one in your backyard?!" Nick asked.
"You never went into my backyard!"
The twins sweatdropped. "Ah… fair point…" Magnolia mumbled.
"Cool!" Logue's eyes sparkled as Becky led the charge, splatting Octarians up ahead and opened up a wall by shooting at the switches, which opened up to reveal… a giant robot.
"My word, look at the size of that thing!" Oobleck said in awe.
"Targets acquired." Becky said, rapidly shooting at the boxes on the robot as it started to move its legs. Once she couldn't reach the rest of the targets on the chest, she immediately let out a Killer Wail scream to do away with the rest. "There we go!"
Becky rolled away while Magnolia couldn't believe her eyes. "I… I definitely have to tell Laura and Albedo this!" She immediately started to text the duo.
"Critical Error: No cell service in Alterna"
"What?! What do you MEAN no cell service in Alterna?!"
"Ahem… uh, sis!" Nick caught her attention as she looked to see everyone following her while she was staying behind.
"O-oh! Wait up!" Magnolia chased after them as they climbed up as Becky continued to shoot at the Octarians and once the arms opened up, they went over and Becky proceeded to shoot up both arms while the rest covered her and took out the Octomissiles, and then the face opened up to reveal four red boxes as Becky let out another scream, dismantling the boxes with ease as the arms rose up in defeat.
"There we go." Becky smiled, rolling away with the others behind her as they jumped on the arm and jumped over toward the goal. She then got out of the Crab Tank and pressed a button as it shrunk down to the size of a marble.
"Ooooh! That reminds me of that show that my bro and I like watching!"
"Sockugon?" Becky smiled.
"That's the one!" Magnolia grinned as Becky put it in her pocket and they touched the goal at the end.
World 2-6: Getting Lost in Three Easy Steps - Demoman, Soldier, SSSN, Callie
"Three lives, activated."
"What is this, a maze?" Callie asked as she put her Splat Roller down. "Time to go to work~!" She started rolling off while the others decided to take an alternate route by climbing up the walls as Soldier and Demoman destroyed the Octosniper.
"You think this is cheating?" Scarlet wondered.
"Naaaah, this is doing a maze in style!" Sun grinned as they hopped across the walls while Callie ran over any distracted Octarian and kept moving along until they reached an end where Neptune curiously pressed it.
"Huh… did it get darker?" Neptune wondered.
"Hey… dude?" Sun pointed to the distance.
"What, what is it?" Neptune turned around. "Oh cool, the maze is standing on its head. …THE MAZE IS STANDING ON ITS HEAD?!"
"Well, that makes things difficult…" Sage sweatdropped.
"Wait… we have to climb our way up?!" Callie said in shock. "Wait, no… swim our way up… no… we have to SWIMB?!"
"I don't think that's a real word, lass." Demoman said.
"She said it, therefore, it now exists!" Soldier said. "As for us…" He immediately rocket jumped up with Demoman sticky jumping, while SSSN climbed up the old fashioned way.
"Ooooh, I'm sure Marie's having a good time…" Callie said as she went into the ink and swam… climbed… swimbed her way to the top until they all managed to get to the goal.
"Made it! Phew…" Neptune sighed with relief. "Heck of a climb…"
"We made it!" Sun smiled. "Who needs to swimb when we can climb?"
"Hah… that was a workout for sure…" Callie said as they touched the goal.

World 2-7: The Ink Conservation Project - Medic, Spy, Engi
"Three Lives, activated."
BGM: Marine Machines (Splatoon 3)
"Give us something other than "three lives." Spy said.
"Very well. This area will test your resourcefulness. You have a limited amount of ink. There are no refills."
"Great. Not only have you ruined my weapons, now you make the ammo limited. Fantastic…" Spy grumbled.
"Aw, cheer up, Spy. It ain't so bad." Engi said.
"Ja!" Medic agreed.
"Easy for you to say." He mumbled as the three walked out as Engineer aimed his Frontier Justice at an Ink Wheel, where the blast from his shotgun activated the other Ink Wheels as they all ran over the Octotroopers and activated another Ink Wheel that went right into a gusher.
"Up we go!" Medic hopped in along with Engi while Spy reluctantly went inside, covering his entire suit with white ink as they walked along and came across a switch room with Ink Wheels.
"Hmm…" Engi looked into a View Pad. "Let's see here… ah! Follow me, boys!" He walked off as the two walked over to the far end as Engi gave it a nudge with his foot, causing the Ink Wheel to roll over into another one while activating switches.
They watched as the Ink Wheels slammed into one another as switches were activated… and then the last Ink Wheel activated the last switches before slamming right into a wall.
"Fascinating…" Medic mused. "It seems zhey have a will of zheir own once zhey're touched."
"Indeed." Engi nodded as they walked through and found a line of Octarians next to a Balloon Fish. Medic immediately aimed his Blutsauger and hit the Balloon Fish, causing it to explode and splatted everyone as they hopped down and went on the Ink Rail as they found another Ink Wheel at the end, along with an Octosniper.
"Alright, Spy. Your turn." Medic said.
Spy aimed his Diamondback at the Ink Wheel, waiting for the platform to line up and then shot the Ink Wheel, causing it to roll and run over the Octosniper, destroying the boxes as it made its way to the goal.
"Nice one!"
"I still hate this." Spy said as they walked over and touched it.

World 2-8: Switching Things Up - Ribbon, Ikura, Nagisa, Jataro
"Three lives, activated."
BGM: Smoke and Mirrors (Splatoon 3)
"Hmm… Nagisa?" Jataro asked.
"Yeah?"
"Do you think that maybe we're a bit too… old to be "Lil Ultimates"?"
"Hmm… I've been thinking about that for a while now. We're teenagers, so we can probably discard that title and call ourselves Ultimates."
"Oh! I want to be Ultimate Artist! …Wait, no… I think that Angie girl is already Ultimate Artist. Mmm… she can share the title, can't she?"
"I mean… as far as we know, there's two Ultimate Detectives. Shuichi and Kyoko. So… I suppose? I'm not sure…"
"How about you?"
"Um… I'm still thinking of a title." Nagisa said.
"Do you even know what they're talking about?" Ikura asked.
"I dunno, I just met them about a few hours ago."
"Yeah, that checks out." Ikura chuckled as she fired her Splat Brella at a switch on a block, causing it to lift up and fly away. "Huh?!"
"Ooooh, I see what we're doing here." Ribbon said. "Let's go!"
The Octoling immediately ran inside while the others followed suit, where they activated switches, and also finding a hidden one underground where Nagisa activated it, and then Ribbon sicced Cari on an Octosniper as it tried to shoot at him, but he swiftly avoided it and proceeded to clobber it with the four backing him up until the Octosniper was splatted.
"Atta boy!" Ribbon smiled, as the Salmonid hopped into her hands as they activated the last switch as the squids swam up after hitting an Ink Wheel while the boys climbed up using Jataro's nails.
"That was easy." Ikura said.
"Squid yeah!" Ribbon grinned. "Veemo! Can I get a "Woomy" from ya?"
Ikura frowned. "I'd… rather not… it's complicated…"
"Aww, I'm sure we can change that." Ribbon planted her hand on her chin and forcibly moved her chin. "Woo-my."
Ikura batted her away. "Don't." She walked off toward the goal.
"Yeesh… I'm just trying to make ya smile, miss moody tentacle."
"The only thing that would make me smile is if you'd just let me kill your "Little bro"."
"What is your problem?!"
"That is classified information. Now let's get the heck out of here."
Nagisa and Jataro looked at each other awkwardly before looking at Ikura with a concerned expression.
Ribbon folded her arms with a grumble. "Sure…" She mumbled as they hit the goal.

Back with Captain Three and Octavio…
"Tum tum te tum… wrench!"
Captain Three handed him a wrench while also keeping an eye on Frye. "Hmm…"
"Keeping an eye on that Inkling? I doubt she's anything much… just look at her, eating grub like she owns the place."
"All of that grub and milk chocolate she's eating… I'm surprised she's not getting sick."
"She's got some metabolism." Octavio said as everyone hopped out of the kettles and once they gave Cari the Power Eggs, he tore right through the Fuzzy Ooze.
Frye did a spit take from her soda. "H-holy…!" She said in surprise as Cari ate it all up within seconds. "...That Salmonid's built different!"
"Hey look, we got some more Sunken Scrolls!" Namine said.
Their phones/scrolls went off as well.
"And another Alterna Log!" Callie grinned.
Sunken Scroll #5:
"For the Inklings and Octolings of the Splatlands, aggressive action is the best way to make a splash in the local sense. Youths will often dress themselves in the style of a delinquent or hooligan to intimidate peers during combative courtship rituals known as 'rumbles."
Junko blinked. "Whoa… anyone else getting JoJo vibes from this?"
"Oh good, I'm not the only one!" Komaru smiled.
Sunken Scroll #6:
"The lobby I've built doesn't have a single standout feature...'cause EVERYTHING in there is featureworthy! If you don't have the greatest Turf War experience ever, I'll eat the smaller of my two claws.' —Glen Fiddler, President & CEO"
"That'd be wonderful if their servers weren't glitchy as heck…" Ribbon mumbled.
"You too? Sometimes I couldn't get in because of a malfunction…" Coral said.

Alterna Log 002: The Rise of Civilization (Again)
"The surviving humans appointed scientists to lead their new society, believing that science would provide a wiser path forward.
Fully empowered, these scientists took on the monumental task of establishing a sustainable ecosystem within the cavern.
They dubbed this new society "Alterna" and began the process of recreating the Earth they had once known."
"Fascinating…" Oobleck mused.
"Of course, not even scientists are immune to nostalgia. The humans began constructing large-scale 3D-printing operations.
This allowed them to recreate some of humanity's favorite artifacts within the confines of Alterna."
"They must've really liked Moai Statues." Marie snarked.
"Additionally, they created a robust information management system, designed to indelibly record all of humanity's precious knowledge.
Such a system would naturally require some sort of record keeper. A computer that could autonomously observe and record data.
The scientists achieved their aim with the development of O.R.C.A.
Also known as the Omniscient Recording Computer of Alterna."
"For those who want to kill me, that's not possible." ORCA mentioned.
"I was wondering if this was an AI…" Nagisa mused.
"Alriiiight… that just leaves Frye." Callie said as they turned to her.
"Uh oh!" Frye hopped into the kettle.
"I'll go after her." Captain Three said as she walked over.
"Wait, don't you need your Hero Shot? Ribbon has it now." Marie pointed out.
Captain Three pulled out a Tentatek Splattershot. "Don't need it."
"I'll… go with ya just in case." Ribbon said.
"Yeah, we'll go too!" Sun said with his team nodding.
"What the kelp, I'll go!" Callie said. "...You coming, Marie?"
"Mmm, might as well." Marie said as they headed over to where Frye was at.
World 2-9: The Future Stares Back - Captain Three, Squid Sisters, Ribbon, SSSN
The group landed in the area and walked toward the Launchpad, all of them jumping over to the arena.
"Yo!" Frye greeted. "Think you can steal our treasure away from us, eh? Well, too bad! I'm gonna splat you all right here!"
"Dude, we're not here for the treasur-"
"Zip it!" Frye interrupted Ribbon. "Now get ready because I'm comin' at ya!" She backflipped, landing right on top of an Octostamp.
"...Dude, are you riding on Octostamp's corpse? Gross!" Callie said.
"I almost feel bad for the poor guy." Marie said.
"Now I'll squash ya like paper! LET'S DANCE!"
BGM: Surprise and Shine (Splatoon 3)
The Eel Deal - Frye
"Should we tell her we're not interested in the treasure?" Neptune asked.
"I don't think she'll listen!" Ribbon said.
"First dance: Eel downpour!" Frye played into her instrument.
Captain Three looked up to see eels launching off of the Octostamp and raining down on then. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and then smirked with a more determined look on her face. "Alright! Let's make these eels squeal!"
"Whoa! You're different all of a sudden!" Ribbon exclaimed.
"That's the thing about her! She might be melancholy these days, but once on the field, it's like she never left!" Callie said as Captain Three rolled out of the way and quickly shot at the eels, where they were sent back and struck Frye.
"Gragh! What gives…?! Don't strike me!" Frye yelped as Callie swung her roller into a few Eels as well, knocking Frye off balance once they hit her. "Ack…!"
Captain Three immediately squid jumped toward Frye, meeting her on top of the Octostamp as Frye growled, activating a button on her instrument as it turned into a makeshift Splatana. "Don't think I don't know how to defend myself!"
Frye swung her Splatana as Captain Three blocked with her Splattershot as she kept swinging, disarming the captain and swung down, but she grabbed her Splatana with her hands. Frye attempted to push her down, but she pushed back and sweep kicked her, then Squid Jumped away.
"Rrrgh! Get back here, you cow-" Frye looked down to see a Splat Bomb that she left for her. "-Ard… uh oh…"
Captain Three landed on the ground right as the Splat Bomb exploded. "GRAAAGH!" She yelped as she came back up after getting splatted. "Alright, alright, I see you!"
Frye reached into her pocket and smirked. "Now let's get really chaotic!" She said, pulling out a Pokemon Card. "Feel the wrath of the Fire Pokemon!" She slapped it down onto the Octostamp.

BGM: Bomb Rush Blush (Splatoon 2)
"Let's give this a good ol' Fire Spin!" Frye declared, playing into her instrument once again.
"Now the corpse is on fire… has she no shame?" Callie asked.
"Get ready, this is gonna get ugly fast!" Captain Three said as the eels came out and caught on fire, and then the Octostamp spun around in a fire tornado, heading straight for them as the eels came out.
"That's… that's not normal!" Scarlet exclaimed.
"Welcome to how fights usually work out for us!" Sun said as they dove for cover as Ribbon fired at the fiery eels, where they went back into the fire tornado.
"Yowch! I'm not fire proof!" Frye yelped as Sage slashed away a few eels and Marie sniped one, sending them back to Frye right as Scarlet got sucked into the tornado.
"Waaaah!" Scarlet yelped, but luckily the fire tornado stopped as Scarlet glided his way to Frye while Captain Three and Ribbon ink jumped over to Frye.
"Ooooh no, you don't!" Frye smirked. "Get a load of this Flamethrower!" She pulled out a bottle of alcohol and downed it before pulling out a lighter and blew into it, creating a flamethrower effect that made both of them jump to the side.
"Hack! Cough!" Frye coughed. "Blegh… Shiver's right… I should've bought those hair sprays instead!" She said, before lighting up her instrument. "Alright! Fire Blast!" She swung her Splatana at Captain Three but she matrixed it while Ribbon shot her up.
"For the record… you need two Splatanas!" Captain Three pointed out as Frye growled.
"Hold! Still!" Frye growled, unaware of Scarlet landing on the ground behind her as he aimed his flintlock and fired, covering her with ink. "Ack! Hey!" She yelped as Captain Three left another Splat Bomb as they jumped away. "Blegh…" Frye wiped her eyes and noticed the bomb. "Aw come on!"

"AAAARGH!" Frye cried once it blew up on her face, then she came back up again, noticing that her Pokemon card was gone. "Huh…?! Where did it-"
"Looking for this~?" Marie held it in her hand, courtesy of Captain Three taking it away before squid jumping.
"You little… alright… time to power up!" She pulled out a cake. "It's time for you to realize why Team Sweet dominated!" She declared, eating the entire cake and then pulling out another and inserting it into the Octostamp.
BGM: Tidal Rush (Splatoon 2)
"HRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Frye yelled as a pink aura surrounded her and the Octostamp. "I WILL BE THE ONE WHO WILL TASTE THIS SWEET VICTORY!"
"Now what is she doing?!" Neptune asked.
"I've never seen a sugar rush like this before…" Ribbon said.
"She's going… oh, what is it, Super Squid-aiyan or something?" Callie wondered.
"TASTE THE FROSTING!" Frye yelled, playing into her instrument as the eels proceeded to charge out like they were on a sugar rush.
…Not to mention they were a huge wall.
"I got this!" Captain Three said, activating her special and throwing down three markers as a Triple Inkstrike came splashing down and sent most of the wall over to Frye.
"Ha!" Frye smirked. "I'm all powered up! Your little inkstrike was nothing! Hahahaha!" She laughed, unaware of a marker appearing on the Octostamp.
"Huh?" Marie wondered as she took a closer look through her Charger. "Someone's coming in for a landing!"
"Who is it?" Callie asked.
"Something blue! …Oh… it's about time."
"NOW FEAST YOUR EYES UPON-" Frye shifted her eyes. "Huh?" She looked up to see an Inkling coming in hot. "What in…"
"YAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He came in charging in with a point blank Booyah Bomb.
Frye's eyes widened. "WHAT THE SPLAT?! WHERE THE KELP DID YOU COME FRO-"
"BOOYAH!" The Inkling slapped the Booyah Bomb into the Octostomp, causing a massive explosion that sent ink flying everywhere and Frye and a few of her eels were sent flying away.

Once the ink settled and the gang wiped the ink off of them, except for Marie who had her umbrella prepared, they saw a lone blue Inkling with a bed head hairstyle with some Retro Framers, an armor jacket, black pants and Punk Cherries.
"Stay fresh." He casually said.
"Hey Agent Four." Marie waved with a soft smile.
"Yoooo, Azure! What's up, my man!" Callie waved.
"Soooo… what'd I miss?"
Shout out to Yoshi for having the idea to bring Agent Four into the story!
Ibuki: Poor Frye... didn't even stand a chance.
Deadpool: Aaaah, she'll be fine!
