"Suichi! Hurry up, or you'll be late for school!" The shout of his mother woke Kurama from his daydreams. He pulled on his pink uniform shirt and went down stairs.

"Good morning, Mother." He said.

"Good morning, dear. Your breakfast is on the table." Kurama sat down and stared at his plate. Normally, he would have begun to eat it. But something about today didn't seem right. He stood up.

"Is something wrong, Suichi?"

"No, Mother, I'm just not hungry this morning. I'd better hurry, school's about to start." Kurama said. He went outside, slipped on his shoes, and started heading towards school. But then, he noticed that someone was behind him. He whirled around, and almost hollered at the sight. Raven was right there, staring at him like he was insane.

"You!" he said angrily. He prepared to pull out his rose whip. Raven raised her hands in the air as a signal of surrender. Kurama paused.

"Cool your jets, Kurama." she said coolly.

"What do you want?"

"Directions to your school. It seems as if I must go there today." Raven was speaking as if nothing had happened between them previously.

"Why should I?" Kurama said, "You almost got Hiei and I killed!"

"Because," Raven's tone had dropped to a whisper, "I need to go there today. Look, I've even got the uniform on and everything." It was true. Raven was sporting the uniform of his school. He exhaled angrily.

"Fine. But if you try anything strange today, I will not hesitate to kill you."

"Same to you, buddy."

------------

Kurama walked towards Hiei's tree in the forest. He had to let him know what Raven was up to. The only problem was that he didn't have the slightest clue as to what Raven was doing. Hiei leaped down.

"What do you want, Fox?" he demanded. Kurama wondered how to tell him the news as he stared at Hiei's scar. This is not going to be easy, he thought.
