Warehouse: Villain HQ, Night…
The League had appeared within a warehouse meant to be a fall-back location if the worst ever came to pass. With everything that happened, the worst and beyond had just passed. Everyone spent time collecting themselves which allowed Stain's Quirk to wear off on Tomura.
All throughout the time it took for said Quirk to wear off, Seething had been seething at what Stain did. The Hero Killer had taken him away from his master, and he would not stand for that. By the time he could move, the leader was pissed.
He rushed the injured Hero Killer and grabbed him by the scarf. "You! Why did you listen to him!? I could have stayed and helped master! We could have won!"
In this moment, Stain was too tired to fight off the boy while the other League members were watching this unfold. Spinner did want to intervene, but he didn't know what to do. That was a sentiment many were feeling themselves.
Eventually, Compress approached from the left. "Shigararki, I believe you should calm down. This is most unbecoming of our troop leader."
"The showman's right, brat." Piccolo approached from the right. "Fighting among ourselves isn't what we need right now."
"Just let the old man go." Muscular added.
Tomura loosened his grip only for Stain to grab both the decay Villain's wrists. "Your master knew what was going to happen. He's willing to accept whatever comes to keep you safe and continue your damn dream. Don't hate me because I listened and saved your ass."
In that moment, Shigaraki felt an urge to kill Stain right where he stood; however, there would be no merit to it. Tomura's gaze softened as he pried himself away from the Hero Killer.
"Piccolo, you're in charge for the moment. Make sure everyone is okay and send those who need it right to Kurogiri to be tended to." The leader looked to the void man. "You can start with Stain and Muscular."
With that, Shigaraki walked off. Many members of the League breathed a sigh of relief at the man stopping himself from doing something irrational. Stain and Muscular did report to Kurogiri for fresh bandages and treatment while Piccolo began looking the others over.
Train Station: Early Morning…
The six students, Izuku, Katsuki, Mina, Shoto, Fumikage, and Momo, made their way to the police station while ensuring Yaoyorozu didn't end up getting snatched. Even with them observing the Villains leaving, it was better to be safe than sorry.
During the trip there, and even when she was taken into the station, Momo was silent. Once she was delivered, the five students then made their way to the hospital that Goku would have been most likely taken to. They wanted to see their friend in person to ensure he was okay.
Hospital
The five students made it to the hospital which was quite crowded. That was only to be expected considering half the city was destroyed and many survivors of that were being taken here to get treated for their injuries.
"Right, I'll start looking." The receptionist was on the phone and hung up before noticing them. "You kids better have an emergency to report."
"We're actually friends and classmates of that boy, Goku Shield, who fought with All Might." Izuku explained. "We were hoping you could tell us if he was okay."
"The kid's alive; however, his right arm was broken." The woman reported quickly. "Strangely enough, it wasn't as broken as we were expecting. In fact, it's rather fixable even if we didn't have Recovery Girl coming. Regardless, we are not taking any visitors currently, so unless you have a medical emergency to report, I'll need you to vacate the premises."
She then picked up the phone, which had been ringing, and began speaking into it. Knowing none of them could see Goku, unless they wanted to act unheroic, the group decided to accept what they were told.
Later…
A few hours had passed before the Heroes that had partook in, and were injured during the hideout raid, had arrived. They were currently being seen with some being more serious than others. Ryukyu was top priority even with Beast Jeanist last act.
Others had suffered less serious injuries and would be treated later. Mount Lady regained consciousness during that time, and when she was finished being treated, discovered that Goku was also being treated in this hospital.
She told the doctors to give her only half the food while giving the other half to Goku. Ragdoll was being checked up on in another room while Seventeen was receiving medical care. When she had finally managed to regain consciousness, the doctors told her what had happened.
She had lost her Quirk somehow meaning she was now Quirkless. All Might had to be put through many tests and treatments before he was patched up, bandaged, and told to rest. He earned that privilege after all he did.
Endeavor, despite many knowing he had to be the effects of a Quirk, still received pointed stares for what he did during the event. On the other end, Goku was treated with a fair bit of respect. He was merely happy to get some extra food and would remember to thank Mt. Lady later.
Metropolitan Police Department
The members of the safety commission gathered fast for a meeting to discuss the events that happened just that night prior.
"The Nomu that we captured are as unresponsive as the last." Someone informed. "They're basically mindless animals. We haven't gotten any new info from them. The warehouse they were kept in was destroyed. We'll continue our investigation, but we don't know how much data we can collect."
"And we haven't gotten any worthwhile information from the bar at all?" A chairman asked.
"We're still looking into that sir." The first chairman replied.
"We apprehended all the Nomu and an urban legend was put to rest, sure, but we let most of the perpetrators, including Shigaraki, slip through our fingers." Another chairman pointed out. "Honestly, even with the death of their boss, I'd say this whole thing was a draw."
"Don't be stupid." Another chairman spoke up. "Our country just lost the Symbol of Peace. All Might's weakened body has been exposed to the world. Everyone knows the indestructible Hero can be defeated now. The citizens and the Villains."
"It's what we get for relying too much on one Pro Hero." Another chairman said.
"People now know they can raise hell with just a handful of thugs. Hate to think what that might inspire." The previous chairman added on. "Our initial profile of Tomura Shigaraki described him as childish and prone to tantrums, but that's obviously changed.
His plans are growing more strategic. He now appears to be focused on how he can mold our society. Since All Might is out of the picture, we've lost our biggest deterrent to criminal activity. Each time the League fails, they come back MUCH stronger. Now, Shigaraki can greatly expand his sphere of influence."
"Are you suggesting that all of this was part of the League's plan?" Another chairman questioned.
"That does sound like quite a leap." Another chairman was skeptical of that.
"We don't know entirely." Another chairman informed. "There's only one thing I can say for certain. We must capture the League of Villains no matter what. As the police, we need to be more proactive. We are not just backup. It's time we implement changes."
Hospital: All Might's Room…
While it wasn't as crowded as it was hours ago, there were still some new faces coming to speak with some of the patients. One of these new faces was Tsukauchi, who, along with Gran Torino, were speaking with Toshinori.
"The embers inside of me have been snuffed out. The mighty Symbol of Peace is no more." Yagi stated. "However, I won't just sit here. There's something I must do."
"Tomura Shigaraki." Gran Torino spoke for him. "Shimura's grandson, yes?"
"The only proof we have of that is what All For One said. It's not much to go on." Naomasa pointed out. "The two of you didn't have any interaction with Shimura's family even though you were so close to her?"
"No." The elder Pro answered.
"But why not?" The detective asked.
"It happened soon after Shimura's husband was killed." Gran Torino stated. "Concerned, she put her child in foster care to shield the youngster from the Hero World. She told Toshinori and me that she didn't want us to have any contact with the kid even if something terrible were to happen."
"And in the end, your promise backfired, huh?" Naomasa understood. "I'm sorry to hear that."
Yagi clenched his fist. "My master gave up her heart, so that her family might know a life full of peace. I must track Shigaraki down as soon as possible. I'll find him and…"
He was interrupted by Gran Torino. "Then what? Give him a pat on the head? You're not looking at him like the Villain he is anymore. That's dangerous. Remember, no matter his lineage, he's still a criminal.
Tsukauchi and I will investigate Shigaraki and the League without you for now. You stay at U.A. You have many responsibilities there. Even if you cannot be the Symbol of Peace that you once were, don't forget that All Might is still alive."
Todoroki Household
Shoto reached his house and when he arrived, Fuyumi was there to greet him. "There you are, Shoto. I was afraid something had happened to you. After you visited mom, you stopped responding to my messages, so what was I supposed to think?"
"I'm sorry, sis." He apologized.
There were crashing sounds in one of the rooms in his house, and Fuyumi explained what was going on. "He's been like that ever since he came home." She referred to their father. "Feel free to go say hi."
Shoto walked towards his father's training room not sure how to feel about what happened. While he was smart enough to realize his father had been under the effects of a Quirk, his heart told him that what his father did was something the Hero was capable of regardless.
Considering everything that has happened between them, he didn't think his father deserved to be the Number 1 Hero. In the end, that wasn't his decision to make. Upon peeking into the training room, it was evident by the destruction that his father wasn't happy about it either.
"I don't accept it. Not like this. I should have earned it."
Midoriya Apartment
Izuku had made it home and reunited with Inko. "Oh honey, I just can't believe what a hard time All Might's had lately. Things must have been difficult for you too, but at least you're home."
"Yeah." The young Midoriya responded noticing that his mother seemed to be in a much better state than he would have guessed.
It was probably because he was home. The One For All user went to his room to rest. After what he went through, he honestly needed it. While he was on his phone, he soon passed out on his bed.
Hospital: Night…
Goku sighed as he laid back in his bed and stared at the ceiling wishing he had his phone right about now to contact someone. Unfortunately, he ended up leaving it in the cabin all the way back at the training camp.
Supposedly, they were supposed to discharge him tonight, so hopefully he wouldn't have to wait long to find out how his classmates were doing. He only hopped that everyone was fine because he didn't know how many Villains were in that forest.
Suddenly, the class rep's attention was drawn to the door as a Nurse opened it. "Ah, you're awake." She nodded as she opened the door. "That's good because All Might is requesting to see you in his room."
"Oh, ok." Goku got out of the bed. "Lead the way."
The Nurse guided him out his room and towards All Might's. After knocking and hearing the Pro tell them to enter, the pair did so. Goku saw Toshinori in bed with many bandages wrapped around his body and a sling for his right arm.
"Uncle Might." Goku was relieved to see the man was at least alive. "Are you okay to be hugged?"
"Yes, I'm all good to be hugged but do be gentle." All Might warmed.
Goku walked up to his uncle figure and gave him a gentle huge which resulted in him receiving one in return.
Once they parted, Yagi nodded to a nearby chair. "Please, take a seat." He seemed rather solemn. "There is something we need to discuss."
"If it's about me staying to fight All For One, I'm not apologizing." Goku gave him a firm look. "Whatever consequences come to me from that, even if it means I'm kicked form the Hero Course, I don't regret it."
"Yes, I supposed that would be your answer; however, you can rest easy knowing you will face no repercussions over this." Yagi assured. "Given circumstances, the fact that you were a help, and that I retroactively said you had my permission, you'll face no legal troubles."
"Well, I'll at least thank you for that." Goku relented.
"All that said, the battle we had with All For One isn't what I wanted to speak with you about." All Might informed. "Tell me, did you learn anything about the Training Camp beyond your time there?"
"No, I haven't." Goku shook his head. "All I know is from my time there up until that showy Villain captured me with his Quirk." He noticed the sullen mood his uncle was in. "Why? What happened?"
"It wasn't good." All Might sighed. "Not counting Tomura… there were twelve Villains in that forest. By the end of their attack, there were injuries to varying degrees, three captures, and several deaths." Goku looked at him at the mention that people died. "
You, Momo, and Ragdoll were captured. One Villain, four Heroes, and three students died. Magne, Mandalay, Pixie-Bob, Tiger, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, Itsuka Kendo, and… Tenya Iida who was the last casualty of the night."
"Tenya… d-died." Goku stated in shock. "How?"
"They were attempting to rescue you only to get caught up among the entire group that attacked." All Might informed. "Several of them attempted to protect him, but Stain ended up thrusting his sword through his chest."
"Iida… it should have been me." Goku shuddered as he leaned forward and put his head against his cupped hands. "Instead, his death happened because I wasn't good enough. I wasn't strong enough. He didn't deserve this."
Memories of Iida flowed through Goku's mind. Fighting him in the first Hero Class, becoming friends, how he believed in Goku to be a good leader, their next battle at the Sports Festival, and every time they've hung out as a group with Izuku, Ochaco, and, later, Momo.
All Might reached over and hugged him. "Goku, your friend didn't deserve this, but that doesn't mean it should have been you. Remember what I've told you after you saw Tomura at that mall?"
"Yeah, and I couldn't agree more now." Goku voiced. "It's frustrating that I wasn't there to protect him… protect any of them." He sighed. "In the end, situations like these are why it's important I stand tall now."
"Exactly." All Might rubbed his back. "Sometimes, good people are taken before it's really their time. While it's easy to blame yourself, you're only human at the end of the day. I know, you aren't really one biologically, but you're human where it counts."
"Even though that's true, I can be better… I will be better." Goku voiced firmly. "Next time, I won't be taken out like I was."
They stayed like that for quite some time before Goku felt better about what he's just learned. It helped that he resolved not to be captured so easily in the future.
"Now, I think it's time we get your home." Toshinori informed as he stood up drawing his nephew's attention. "You were actually supposed to be discharged before I pulled you in here."
"I think I'm ready to get home." Goku stood up. "I want… wait, what about Momo!?"
"Not to worry." Yagi put a hand on his shoulder. "Midoriya, Ashido, Tokoyami, Todoroki, and Bakugo brought her to the police. She's perfect safe."
Despite learning he lost a friend, Goku was relieved it hadn't suddenly got worse by losing Momo to. "Alright, I want to see my sister now."
Outside the Shield Apartment
The car pulled up to the apartment, and the pair got out only for Melissa to come running as she hugged the pair. "I'm so glad you're both alright!"
"Gahhh!" All Might shouted.
Melissa immediately pulled back. "Ah, I'm sorry Uncle Might!"
"It's alright, Melissa." All Might stated. "I just need some time before I can receive hugs like that, but I'll be fine."
"I'm happy to hear that as well as the fact that you're still here." Melissa smiled at him before looking to Goku. "How are you feeling?"
"Physically, I'm fine." Goku looked at the arm he had broken which was fine now. "Fairly certain Recovery Girl stopped by. As for everything else…I think I'll be fine."
"Hm, that doesn't sound certain." Melissa began tugging on his wrist, and he didn't resist much. "Come on, we're talking about everything you've been through."
"Gah, Melissa!" Goku complained. "Can't we at least talk tomorrow. I'm tired."
"Nope, we're doing this right now." Melissa stated.
"Alright, at least stop pulling!" Goku yelled.
All Might smiled. "Right about now, he could use someone like her."
He then got back into the car they'd arrived in since he had one more place to be that night.
Midoriya Residence
Izuku was asleep in his bed. His phone was still in his hand and tuned to the news page about All Might's weakened form. Then, his phone began to vibrate causing him to stir and barely open his eyes.
He could see a message on his phone pop up for a moment, and he read it. He recognized who sent it, and his eyes shot open before he quickly got off his bed. Inko heard this and looked to see her son putting on his shoes and leaving in a hurry.
"Hey, where are you going?" She questioned. "Dinner's ready."
"Sorry, I can't!" The young Midoriya hurriedly left through the front door.
Dagoba Beach
Izuku quickly got to the stairs and saw Toshinori standing alone on the beach. He ran down the stairs and towards the Hero.
"All Might!" He called out to him.
Yagi turned back to see his successor. "Ah, you finally made it!"
"Are you okay!?" Midoriya worriedly asked him as he kept running towards him.
"It sure took you long enough!" Toshinori called out as he began to run towards the boy.
"All Miiight!" Izuku called his name as he almost reached him.
"Texas…" Yagi punched his student's face. "Smash!" The boy fell to the ground. "You made a promise, but as it turns out, you can't keep your word. If you kids had gotten hurt, it would have all been in vain! You've got some bad influences." Midoriya rubbed his cheek.
"Young Midoriya, listen. I'm officially retired as a Pro. It's clear my body isn't going to allow me to fight another battle." To prove his point, he bulked up and began to punch the air before losing his form. "The last sparks of One For All have left my body.
My muscle form won't last for any significant amount of time. I can't protect you when you put yourself in danger, and you're always rushing in to help no matter what I tell you!" He turned to Izuku and approached him. "Yet back there, you…"
Midoriya flinched expecting some more harsh words. "…kept your friend's safe and didn't get into a fight. I'm so proud of you." The boy then felt Toshinori hug him. "From here on out, I will devote myself to training you. You're stuck with me, so let's both keep working hard."
Tears began to flow out of Midoriya's eyes as he replied to that last sentence. "Thank you…Nothing would make me happier…All Might."
As the boy let the tears flow, Yagi spoke up. "What'd I say about keeping your word, you little crybaby?" He let out a tear as well. "I thought we agreed that you'd stop it with the waterworks."
He felt Izuku hug him back, rather tightly, but he didn't mind. The two of them stayed like that for about a minute before they separated.
"Wait, what about Goku?" Izuku asked worriedly. "Is he okay?"
"Relax my boy." Toshinori nodded. "Goku is fine and back with his sister." He put a hand on his successor's head. "Before you go rushing off to see him, give my nephew tonight at least. Both of you could use this time to wind down from everything that's happened."
"For now, I'm just glad to know he's safe." Izuku voiced.
Morning…
Just because knowing he was safe was enough for that night didn't mean Izuku wasn't about to show up at his friend's apartment that morning. He knocked on the door and waited for Goku to answer it. Upon him opening the door, Izuku stared at him.
It was one thing to know he was safe, but it was an entirely different thing to see it especially after what happened to Tenya. Upon seeing his friend staring at him, Goku spread his arms out inviting his friend in for a hug.
Midoriya did not hesitate and hugged him with tears in his eyes. "GOKU!"
The One For All user bawled into his friend's chest.
"Hey, Izuku." Goku stated happily as he returned the hug.
"I wanted to get you back that night, but we failed." Izuku stated. "We failed so badly that Iida's gone. It made the worst come to mind when I thought of you and Momo. I wanted to honor Tenya, but it was hard because I still want to be me. I just didn't…"
Midoriya was interrupted when Goku tapped him on the forehead with his index finger. "Given I know Katsuki, his actions have to be the result of you telling him to do that, so thanks for getting Momo out of there. I'm glad you all came. I don't know what I'd have done without you."
That sparked fresh tears from Midoriya's eyes. "I-I'm glad that I helped."
Goku then stopped hugging him, and they pulled apart. "Hey, why don't you come on in? Melissa and I were just going to sit down to breakfast."
"Sure." Iuzku voiced.
U.A.:Principal's Office, Later…
Nezu was in his office with Aizawa and Toshinori to discuss the future of the school, but not before giving his appreciation to the now retired Number 1 Hero. "Thank you, All Might. You've saved thousands of lives over these many years, but it cost you your body and strength."
He turned to face Yagi. "As a citizen, Hero, and principal, I cannot express how grateful we all are to you." He picked up a news report. "However, given everything that's happened, there are many who do not believe you should continue as a teacher at U.A.
Some are pointing out that our troubles began when you started working here. They're worried that the children will continue to be caught in the crossfire. Without you able to protect them, many are worried about repeat Training Camps.
It is a delicate situation with students having been pulled out of U.A. Nevertheless, I believe I know what we need to do to ease the concerns the public has expressed. We must strengthen the faith people have in the Heroes we have left.
It's true, the threat we face is still troubling, but we will protect and train with more focus and diligence than ever before." He pulled out another sheet of paper. "That is why we're going to implement a plan I've had in mind for a while."
He presented the paper to the pair showing it was a notice of introduction to a dormitory System. "I will be counting on you two to be the ones who visit with all thirty-seven of the remaining 1st year Hero students. See about convincing them on this path.
Even if they don't come back, inform them that two days before school resumes, we shall have a memorial for the students and teacher that lost their lives. All of them, regardless of whether they will be coming back to school, will be welcome in U.A. that day."
"Provided we get all of them, including those who've already pulled out, to agree with this, do you have someone who can teach 1-B?" Aizawa inquired.
"There are applicants, even among our staff, I am looking into." Nezu informed. "Weather the role will remain necessary for the rest of the year comes down to the decision of the students and their parents. In the event we don't have the numbers, we'll simply do as we can."
Both nodded before leaving the building and entering a waiting car. Both knew they were in for a long day, considering some of the letters they'd received, but there wasn't much they could do. They'd do their best to convince everyone, but the choice was theirs at the end of the day.
Jiro Residence
The first stop was the Jiro household since it was the closest.
When they explained the dorm plan, Kyouka's father was the first to reply. "I don't know. It sounds out of tune to me. I get that you guys don't want to keep talking about what happened but moving the kids into dorms isn't going to change the fact that my daughter was injured."
"What you're saying is quite true, Mr. Jiro." Aizawa responded. "However, I'd like to assure you that this is not a matter of U.A.'s pride. We thought long and hard on the issue and believe this to be the best course of action. I hope you will give us the honor of continuing to teach Kyoka. I believe wholeheartedly that U.A. can help her grow into the best Hero she can be."
Speaking of Kyoka, she walked into the room with drinks and heard that last part. "Whoa, no need for you to be all formal Mr. Aizawa. We decided what to do right after we got the notice in the mail.
I mean, you should have heard my old man during the fight." She then did an impression of her father. "'My daughter's teacher and class rep are hardcore, man! That battlefield is a stadium, and they're rockin' it!' I'm pretty sure he was crying."
"KYOUKA, COME ON!" Her father responded. "I WAS TRYING TO ACT ALL STRICT AND STUFF TO THESE DUDES!"
"Oh chill, dad." She replied.
"Hey, cut it out you two." Kyouka's mom spoke up. "Save the aggression for your music."
In the end, it became clear that these two hadn't even considered pulling their daughter out, and the response to the dorm plan was a resounding yes. After informing them of the memorial for those who lost their lives, they left to continue their task.
Students Across Japan
After Kyoka, they next visited the Aoyama household which also had no issue allowing their son to move to the dorms. In fact, they heavily encouraged it along with the Todoroki, Kirishima, Tokoyami, Yamcha's smaller community, Tokage, Honenuki, and Monoma families.
The Ashido, Uraraka, Shoji, Awase, and Kamakiri families were also willing to let their respective children move into the dorms. They did express slight concerns, but still have faith in U.A. The Kaminari, Kuroiro, Kodai, and Yanagi families expressed more concerns.
They were still willing to let their respective children go. A couple of these had even pulled out their children only to end up committing once hearing from the two teachers. Aizawa and Toshinori made sure to visit with the Iida, Kendo, and Tetsutetsu families.
They told them of the memorial date and gave their condolences. They also visited with the Asui, Ojiro, Koda, Sero, Hagakure, Kaibara, Komori, Shiozaki, Shishida, Shoda, Tsunotori, Tsuraba, Fukidashi, Bando, and Rin families. No matter what they said, they couldn't sway minds.
Either the kid didn't want to return, the parents didn't want them to return, or a combination of the two. So, they understood before telling them about the memorial date. With all of these out of the way, only four houses remained.
Road
After they were in the car and driving away from the last house they visited, Toshinori sighed. "Out of the thirty-three students we've visited, only eighteen will be moving into the dorms and continuing their education as Heroes."
"Well, I can't blame them." Aizawa sighed. "The Training Camp was a disaster, and it can be seen as the straw that broke the camel's back with the number of times students have had run ins with Villains. This next one may not be any easier."
Yaoyorozu Residence: Evening…
When the pair arrived, they were led into the sitting room where they explained everything to Silver, Maeko, and Momo.
"Maeko and I feel we can't disregard U.A. when everyone is at fault for growing complacent." Silver informed. "Even in complacency, there are still strong Heroes that have come from U.A." "The fact is, we've all been given a wakeup call this past week."
"Silver and I believe U.A. will work to ensure something like the Training Camp doesn't happen in this now post All Might World." Maeko added. "While we would allow our daughter to still attend U.A, and move into the dorms, we've ultimately left that decision with her."
The two teachers looked to the girl who had remained quiet throughout their explanation. Even her parents had their questions, but she remained sullen and quiet.
"Young Yaoyorozu?" All Might questioned.
"I just… feel like I'll be a burden to everyone." Momo sighed. "For as far as I've come, I couldn't do anything to make things easier for Goku during that whole situation at Kamino. To later learn that me being captured is what led to Tenya's death…"
"That sounds similar." Aizawa stated drawing everyone's attention. "During my second year at U.A. I began to doubt I could ever be a Hero because I found myself in situations where I believed I wasn't good enough. That my Quirk was too simple.
I often wondered what kind of Hero I could be. A friend of mine told me that my Quirk is one of the only ones which could even the playing field considering how important Quirks are. Your Quirk is by far more complicated; however, it is no less effective at evening the playing field.
As Goku stated for me, the world is an unfair place, but it's our job as Heroes to combat that unfairness. So, it's your choice. You can quit or take this experience in. If you ask me, I believe you can be a Hero, Momo Yaoyorozu."
"You're right, Mr. Aizawa." Momo looked at her teacher as she covered her mouth and tears began to fall. "I want to return to school. I want to move into the dorms. The next time something happens, I'll be better."
"Yaomomo…" Maeko gave a small smile as she hugged her little girl.
Aizawa took a deep breath as he stood up and walked away without another word prompting Toshinori to follow him.
Once they were outside, Yagi looked at his college. "Shota…"
"You heard nothing in there." Aizawa stated simply. "Come on, we have three more households to visit."
Toshinori gave a small smile. "Yes, I must have just heard the wind while we were in there."
Bakugo Residence
They explained what the plan was only to get a bizarre reaction as Mitsuki inadvertently slapped the back of Katsuki's head. "You kidding!? Hell yeah, get this kid in a dorm room!"
"YOU HAG!" Katsuki roared. "HIT ME AGAIN, AND I'LL KILL..." He was cut off by Mitsuki slapping him on the back of the head again.
"OH HUSH!" She barked back. "U.A.'s BEEN GOOD FOR YOU. I WANT TO SEE YOU CONTININUE TO MATURE!"
As the two aggressive blondes were at each other's throats, Masaru, the father of Katsuki, was the only level headed one here. "Come on, you two. Please, no fighting. We don't want to frighten the teachers, do we?"
"SHUT IT, YOU CLOWN!" Katsuki barked at his father. "MIND YOUR OWN BUISNESS!"
"YEAH! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO NEEDS TO BUCK UP!" Mitsuki stepped in again.
As the two teachers saw this unfold, Aizawa eventually managed to say what he wanted to. "So…you're saying you give us your consent?"
Mitsuki brought her attention back to the teachers, before slapping the back of Katsuki's head again. She then grabbed him making her son bow his head with her arm.
"Oh, the dorm? Actually, we're grateful." She let go of her son. "Katsuki's fearless and good at everything he tries. People were always fawning over him whether he deserved it or not. Then, he entered U.A., and despite acting like this now, he's really been growing.
I'm sure U.A. will face harsh criticism from some people; however, we still trust you, so we'll leave him to you. Right?" Masaru nodded at that, so she gently rubbed her son's head before making him bow with her and Masaru. "Please, train him hard and make him a good Hero."
"Of course, ma'am." Toshinori stated.
With that, the two of them left the residence and were about to reach the car.
"Let's see… Midoriya's house is close by, isn't it?" Aizawa asked.
"All Might." They heard Katsuki's voice and saw the boy approach Toshinori. "I've got to know. What exactly is Deku to you?"
After a moment of silence, Yagi responded. "He is my student, just like you. A fledgling Hero with bright prospects."
Mitsuki's voice was heard. "DAMN IT KATSUKI! YOU WENT WANDERING OFF WITHOUT TELLING ME!"
"If you don't want to tell me, that's fine." Bakugo calmly began to walk back to his house. "Just make sure Shield's alright for me instead."
"KATSUKI!" His mom angrily called him again.
"I HEARD YOU!" He annoyingly called back.
I'll address Super Saiyan first. Akira Toriyama wrote Dragon Ball on a week-to-week basis, and it seems he had some general ideas about Super Saiyan; however, it didn't seem completely nailed down until the Namek Arc. I bring this up because I feel in the Saiyan Saga, Goku had enough of the eventually named S-Cells to transform there. He didn't even with all those dead bodies around.
I believe, and what I'll be running with, is that for at least the first Saiyan to transform into Super Saiyan, in this day and age, will require the catalyst to happen before them. Goku transformed against Frieza because Killian died before him. All of this is to say that Goku needs a similar trigger. If that's not good enough for you, then you can blame his earlier training in controlling wrathful. He's had ample time, at this point, controlling his negative emotions.
Onto the next point concerning U.A. Even though All Might, with help from Goku, ended All For One (As far as they know), it doesn't erase what happened at the training camp. If nothing else, All Might still can't be that symbol he was before, and that's not even mentioning the personal side of things. Class 1-A and 1-B lost friends in the Training Camp. It's kind of like smaller scale version of what happened after the events of Jaku City just contained to U.A.
That's not to say these students are necessarily out of the Hero game, but quite a few of them couldn't continue their careers at U.A. Too much has happened in this universe when compared to canon. As for a list of students who will be continuing their education at U.A., I'll provide that next chapter. If you paid attention, maybe you can already figure out just who will still be there.
ZEDNEMwashere (ch. 5): Goku was mainly that way because he fell and hit his head in the mountains. Grandpa Gohan and David Shield are two completely different people with different areas of specialty. While David isn't a medical doctor, once he's got papers for Goku, he'd make sure the boy got proper medical treatment. I mean obviously Grandpa Gohan kept Goku alive, but there's a different in medical care between situations.
Then, there's how canon Goku and this Goku grew up. Canon Goku grew up in the mountains and only heard of things outside of it, such as about girls, from his grandpa. This Goku grew up with a sister and around other children in civilization. Again, Grandpa Gohan was a great man, but life style plays a big part in how a child grows. There are countless of stories on here and Youtube, from many different people, that have drastically different 'Goku'.
Can we ultimately say any interpretation of Goku is any less valid when we're constantly exposed to multiver theory in media. I mean just look at a show like Ben Ten Omniverse. There are many different Ben, but each one is still a Ben. This story just has a Goku. It doesn't take away from the Goku you love. It's simply an alternate version like the countless Spidermen, Batmen, Ironmen, and so on.
Dan the bluewolf(Ch. 11): I'll need to go back and look at that.
Dan the bluewolf(Ch. 16): Thank you.
superpierce: I mean, All Might was coming in fast, so it couldn't completely register like it should have.
ArguableReader: I mean, at least this time these characters dropping out of U.A. have the potneital to come back in other ways.
chao-hellsing: Thank you.
Sosuke Aizen - ' - S: Wait, what youtube video are you talking about? I've seen one where What if MHA versions of Goku and Vegeta, and naother where an MHA version of Gohan were put it. What's this series you're talking about?
Gamerlover78: Well, I did promise Raditz would come right around the time Hood attacked, so at this point its roughly a season and a half worth of content away.
Whiteserpent119: I'll see what I can do.
AnimeFan13579: Given how crazy everything was, there were only so many options. Considering All Might was right there, All For One decided to have Striker do what he did. As for Goku, cameras didn't appear until the fight with All For One really kicked off. That said, the villains are aware of this and Goku doesn't really have too much incentive to keep that he's really Quirkless from his class. He even decided to tell them in the chapter after everything was revealed to them. He was just ultimately putting it off to allow everyone to focus on the training. The rest of that totally works.
