We continue our story of "Cooper's creed 2 Brotherhood" last time Rajan was forced to flee from his own party in disgrace and the Cooper gang stole the Clockwerk wings, but they didn't catch Rajan so now they have to follow him into the jungle and bring the make-believe king down
Also prepare for a secret twist that will be thrown into the mix and I PROMISE YOU…you will be shocked
But with that said

Chapter 4 The predator awakens
(Three days later)
(Sly's P.O.V)
"It took some detective work from me, Mario and Bentley managed to find out where Rajan had gone into hiding, somehow, he had managed to transform a long forgotten temple deep in the jungles of India into the thriving center of his spice-growing operation and it's there where we'll find the make-believe king, the jungle too think to drive through, forced us to walk a long distance towards our target, we ran into a few problems along the way, but pushed on none the less…for the temple was more than just Rajan's hideout…it was also home…to the Clockwerk heart…a pump so strong and tireless, it could increase spice production TENFOLD, good for Rajan and by extension the Klaww gang but, awful for the rest of the world…with Rajan now cornered and with nowhere else to hide should his spice operation fall into shambles like his party did, he won't run, he WILL put up a fight, which is just fine with me, hope he's not counting on that heart too much, because tonight, it's coming home with us"
(End of P.O.V)
After setting up shop in a nearby cave literally just across the "street" from Rajan's temple, Sly was sent out, he needed to get the lay of the land before he got busy, so he climbed to the top of the tallest tree before sending out Synu to use Eagle vision
"This place is more like a heavily guarded military base than a spice operation center" Sly said to himself before Bentley called him
"Okay, Sly, you know the drill, sneak into the temple and take some recon photos so I can assess the situation…just be careful, if you get hurt, the nearest hospital is a hundred and six miles from here" Bentley told him
"No problem, buddy, I live for this shit" Sly replied
"According to my map of the area, there should be a hidden entrance into the temple behind that waterfall over there" Bentley told Sly
"I'll take a hidden passage over the front door any day of the week" Sly replied, he then performed a Leap of faith off the high vantage point and landed in a hay pile, he then quickly made his way to the entrance and slipped in
(Inside the temple)
Once Sly was inside he then contacted Bentley again
"BINGO, you found the spice growing facility, now, from what I know of photosynthesis, all the expensive equipment should be found at the top of the area, there should be an access tunnel to get you up there" Bentley told Sly
"Alright I'm heading for the top" Sly replied as he took off, he had to pass guards and use his rail slide on a couple of vines to get where he needed to be, but he got there, he then took out his Binocucom's camera to take recon photos, first was a half of the Clockwerk heart being suspended up in the air by a crane
"Looks like half of the heart is being used to super irrigate the spice plants" Bentley said
"That's not good, it takes time to grow spice plants but with the heart in place the waiting time is significantly cut in half" Sly said before taking a picture of an entrance to the level Sly was photographing
"There's the entrance to this level only I can't figure out where it leads to in the temple exterior" Bentley said
"I'm sure we'll figure it out eventually, that's why you're the brains of this outfit" Sly said before taking a picture of the crane controls that's suspending half of the Clockwerk heart
"Look there, that's the crane controls that's suspending the heart" Bentley said
"And its locked down tight…OF COURSE" Sly muttered, finally was a picture of Rajan with the other half of the Clockwerk heart on his talking staff
"Check it out, Rajan is carrying the other half of the heart on that stick of his" Bentley said
"Which means he's got half of it at all times and we gotta swipe it from him somehow" Sly said
"Brings those photos back to the safehouse, Sly we'll really need to think about this one" Bentley told him before Sly left the area and went back to the safehouse for a plan from Bentley

"It's obvious from the recon photo's that the Clockwerk heart is under some steep security, heck, Rajan is carrying half of the heart with him at all times, to get at the goods, I'm gonna need to have some more information, Sly I'm gonna need you to plant a bug in Rajan's office so we can listen in on his conversations, meanwhile I'll lift the spice operation blueprints off of the spice lord himself while he makes his routs around the compound, unfortunately, while were collecting info on him, he's trying to collect DATA on us with an elephant-driven satellite array, someone will have to take it out and quick or he'll be able to intercept all our communications and if he gets too much we ain't gonna be just good as caught, we'll be as good as DEAD…no pressure, right"

Neyla was sent out first where she saw the elephant-driven satellite array, she then contacted Bentley
"Okay, Bentley I'm here, what'cha got for me" Neyla asked
"Rajan is able to monitor all of our communications out here with that elephant-driven satellite array" Bentley told Neyla
"That's pretty grim but I'm pretty sure that a brilliant-minded person like yourself got a plan for shutting it down" Neyla asked
"Don't I always" Bentley asked
"Trick question, of course you do" Neyla asked
"The local spice plants are illegal for good reason, eat too many and you'll go into a fit of uncontrolled rage" Bentley explained
"Make a mental note to keep that stuff as far away from Murray as possible…oh, wait, wait, I get it, I put some spice plants in the elephants feed basket, he chows down goes off the rail and then PRESTO, the satellites in pieces" Neyla said
"A crude interpretation of the plan, but accurate, the trick here is harvesting the spice plants, your gonna have to do some SERIOUS climbing, as they only grow high up in the jungle canopy" Bentley said
"Are you forgetting who you're with, tigresses are NATURALS when it comes to climbing" Neyla said before she hung up and got to work, she did some serious climbing like Bentley told her she would be doing, but Neyla was up to the test and she gathered enough spice plants to complete her task, she then went to the baskets
"Hope you like it spicy big guy" Neyla stated as she dropped the spice plants in the feed basket for the elephant, he chowed down on them and it broke free from the array before running off into the jungle
"WOW…now I REALLY gotta make sure Murray don't get his hands on any of that stuff" Neyla said before returning to the safehouse, now it was Bentley's turn, he went to the next wave point, where he saw Rajan about to make his routs around the compound, he then contacted Mario
"As I expected, Rajan is out for his daily tour of the operation, my sources tell me, he always carries three blueprints on him, which when read together, tell you EVERYTHING about his spice operation" Bentley explained
"It's a shame that he isn't carrying his part of Clockwerk's black heart with him when Sly took the recon photos, but you can just pump his full of sleep darts and be done with it" Mario said
"Unfortunately, sir, my sleep darts aren't powerful enough to effect Rajan" Bentley replied
"WHAT, then…prey tell how will you get at those blueprints Bentley" Mario asked
"Rajan has an insatiable appetite for Indian watermelons, which, if eaten whole, will force even HIM to nod off for a while, once he's asleep, I'll creep in and lift the blueprints" Bentley answered
"That's all well and good but, how are you gonna lure him over to the watermelons" Mario asked
"Simple to fix, I've equipped my sleep darts with a sonic disruptor, the strange sounds they make should be enough to lure the ever-curious Rajan from place to place" Bentley answered
"Well, you know what they say…curiosity killed the" Mario was about to say
"DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE" Bentley suddenly said, making Mario laugh
"Just a small jest, Bentley, no need to get your shell in a twist" Mario said before he hung up, Bentley then got to work, by being VERY careful not to get caught and using his sleep dart sonic disruptors wisely, he was able to lure Rajan to three Indian watermelons, putting him to sleep three times and lifting each blueprint, after that, he made his rounds around his operations and went back to his temple, now it was Sly's turn, she went to the location Bentley told him about and he was now looking at a big bug in a small pool of water, Mario then contacted him
"Nephew, according to Bentley, the insect in that pool, is a rare Indian water bug, he needs you to carry it into Rajan's office" Mario said
"And other than eating the mosquitos around here, why would Bentley want that thing in Rajan's office" Sly asked
"Because once it's in place, it's wings will transmit local soundwaves at a frequency that Bentley's instruments can pick up on and monitor" Mario explained
"Let me get this straight uncle…Bentley wants me to bug Rajan's office…with an actual BUG" Sly asked
"Strange as it may sound, the bug will do what our resident genius says it will do, there's just a minor hiccup" Mario said
"Isn't there always…well, what is it then" Sly asked
"According to the information on the bug's biology, it can only survive in stagnant pools, if kept out of water for too long, it will likely become unhappy and admit a soundwave so loud, it will draw guards towards it and to YOU" Mario answered
"GREAT" Sly muttered before he used his binocucom's to spot a faraway stagnant pool
"Hmm…looks like there's a few pools along the way to Rajan's office, a short swim every now and then should be enough to keep our little friend happy and quiet" Sly replied
"Sounds like a plan, watch your tail" Mario told his nephew
"Always do uncle, always do" Sly answered before they hung up, Sly picked up the incest and carried it from pool to pool and was extremely careful not to damage the bug or to encounter too many guards, as skilled as he was, even HE could not take on the entire personal army of Rajan, he eventually got into Rajan's office

Once inside the office of the spice lord, Sly walked up to one of the large pools and planted the bug in said pool
"Excellent, I've already tuned into the bug's wing vibrations, I'm A GENIUS WITH A CAPITAL G" Bentley called through the earpiece
"Way to be modest" Sly muttered before he spotted something on Rajan's office desk and walked over to take a look at it
"Now what do we have here" Sly muttered to himself
"Sly, what's the holdup" Bentley asked through the earpiece
"Bentley, check this out" Sly said as he took out his binocucom and took pictures of what he saw seeing on a sheet of paper
"Hmm, interesting…what your seeing is apparently the blueprint design for a special type of device that creates hypnotic melodies that will pacify anyone in hearing range" Bentley explained
"A hypno device" Sly asked
"Apparently so…with that photo you took I think I MIGHT be able to make it for our side, maybe even put it on one of your arrowheads Sly" Bentley said
"Sounds like it would be useful, think you can" Sly was about to ask before he heard someone entering the office
"Can what" Bentley asked
"SHH, SOMEONE'S HERE" Sly whispered before he quickly made his way up into the office rafts, it was RAJAN
*SHIT* Sly said in his head before he careful maneuvered through the rafters of the office and left before Rajan spotted him, his job was done anyway, Rajan then noticed the bug in the pool
"Hmm, where did this come from…must have snuck in somehow, well it might come in handy for eating those pesky mosquitoes" Rajan said as he went back to work with the true motive of why the bug was there completely oblivious to him
(Outside)
Once Sly got out of Rajan's office he sighed in relief
"Too close" Sly muttered before he left to join the others at the safehouse

"I've got some bad new guys…Rajan has apparently gone into hiding somewhere in the temple, I guess the destruction of his satellite array and my infiltration of his personal space to get the blueprints must have spooked him, to get at his section of the Clockwerk heart, we'll need to draw him out into the open, given his known temperaments…I recommend making him angry, first we'll destroy the center piece of his operation, the spice grinder, then we'll demolish the dam above the temple in an attempt to flush him out, if that doesn't work, I've made an arrangement with a local contractor to trade one of the temples rubies for some highly powerful explosives, which if necessary we can use to flood the whole compound, if my psychological profile on Rajan is correct, he should pick up the other half of the Clockwerk heart before making his escape, effectively bringing it to us"

Sly was up first for his round of assignments but before he could get far, he was surprised by the appearance of Nick
"What's up jungle boy" Nick greeted Sly
"Oh, you know, winging from vines, surviving in a harsh environment…and making passionate, WILD love to Neyla under the moonlight like the werewolves did in "The howling" talk about WILD" Sly said
"Okay, too much information" Nick replied
"Hey, you asked…by the way, I didn't get a chance to saying this back at the ball but thanks for the help and for not ratting me and Neyla out" Sly told Nick
"I should be thanking you, the look on Rajan's faces was BEYOND priceless" Nick said
"What was his face like" Sly asked
"Like he was one of those cheap, animal-skin rugs, even Carmelita let out more than a chuckle" Nick answered as the two shared a laugh
"I thought Carmelita MIGHT be a little pissed off that she was being played like a fiddle" Sly said
"Yeah, she was PISSED" Nick said
"I imagine that wasn't a pretty sight" Sly said
"Well…it was lessened after I" Nick was about to say
"You…what" Sly asked
"After the whole ball situation…I sort of…ASKED Carmelita out on a date" Nick said
"WAIT, WAIT, WAIT…YOU…went on a DATE with Old Ironsides" Sly asked
"Old…WHAT" Nick asked
"Neyla's nickname for Carmelita" Sly answered
"Yeah, I went on a date with Carmelita…it was nice, once she…settled down" Nick explained, Sly chuckled
"Never imagined she would be the dating type…but that's a conversation for another time, why are you here in the jungle" Sly asked
"I'm going to help you, I was…poking around I found a secret entrance leading to half of Clockwerk's heart, now legally I can't enter without a warrant but now a person like you" Nick was about to say
"A person like me can go anywhere he pleases, I read ya" He said
"Just don't fall behind when I lead you to the entrance, this place is THICK with guards and standing still could be lethal" Nick said
"You can say THAT again brother" Sly replied before Nick took off a great speed's, leading him through obstacles and around the area until he led Sly to the secret entrance
"Here we are, half of the heart is through this hidden passage but remember if push comes to show I NEVER showed you this door" Nick
"That concern I hear in your voice" Sly asked
"Just calling for caution, Neyla would KILL me if anything happened to you…even worse if the wrong people found out that I contributed to you getting hurt with my helpful tip" Nick explained
"I've had trouble ever since the day I was born, why should today be any different, if it's about Carmelita" Sly was about to say
"Nope…someone WORSE than her" Nick said
"Worse that Old Ironsides" Sly asked
"After you got away with the Clockwerk wings, I overheard the Contessa calling in an old friend of her's to help Interpol track you and your friends down" Nick answered
"Who" Sly asked
(Here's where I improvise a little)
"Some old Special Forces commander and a good one to, a damn legend according to the Contessa, he goes by the callsign Terminator" Nick said
"Like "I'll be back" Terminator" Sly asked in a deep voice resembling the famous, robotic assassin from the future
"Don't know the guy's real name but I've heard stories and rumors from across the globe, he's effective, driven and is a tactical genius, I heard he's so good at what he does that he once KILLED a guy with a tea cup" Nick said
"REALLY" Sly asked
"Rumor or exaggeration, point is, he's dangerous Sly, one of the most dangerous men in the world the Contessa says…if he's gonna be around then you better be extra careful" Nick said
"Terminator, huh…I'll dig up some information when I get the chance, thanks for the heads up" Sly said
"Take care Cooper" Nick said before he took off, Sly then contacted Bentley
"Bentley, you there" Sly asked
"Where else would I be" Bentley asked
"Trick question, do me a favor would you and look up a Special Forces member, callsign Terminator" Sly asked
"Any particular reason why" Bentley asked
"I just received some news from Nick, he says that the Contessa will probably be bringing this Terminator character into help track us down" Sly answered
"OH GREAT" Bentley grunted
"Yeah, we've already got enough people on our ass" Sly replied
"I'll get to searching through the databank, it'll take me some time before I pull him up" Bentley said before he hung up
"In the meantime, time to go for the heart so to speak" Sly said before he went through the secret entrance
(Inside the temple)
Once inside Sly looked around and like Nick said, he saw one half of the Clockwerk heart that was hanging from the ceiling during the recon mission, he then contacted Mario
"There's one half of the heart, just like Nick said" Sly said
"According to the blueprints Bentley pulled up, in order to get at it, you'll need to get access to that control box…but it's locked down tighter than a tick's ass, nephew" Mario stated
"Oh, I'm sure these guards won't mind if I…borrow their keys" Sly replied as he got to work, after swiping a few keys, he released the Clockwerk heart, swiped it and exited the area
"Excellent work nephew" Mario said through the earpiece
"That's one half of the heart, the spice won't be growing around here anytime soon" Sly said before he made a break for the exit
(Outside)
Once outside, Sly returned to the safehouse and sent out Neyla who went to his assignment, which was in the spice grinding room after getting to the entrance, she entered through the door
(In the spice grinding facility)
Once inside, Bentley contacted Neyla
"According to Rajan's blueprints, you're near the spice grinding facility, however, the passage is blocked by those laser fences" Bentley stated
"It doesn't look like it's gonna be a problem, the guards seem to be using TNT barrels to create these catacombs, I can just borrow some to destroy the laser fences" Neyla replied
"Sounds good, just be sure to clear the blast radius before it goes BOOM" Bentley advised
"Yeah, burnt fur would NOT look good for my man, he likes it NICE and soft" Neyla replied
"UGH, save it for the honeymoon Neyla" Bentley said before he hung up
"Honeymoon, huh…now THERE'S a VERY tempting idea" Neyla muttered before she got to work, using the TNT barrels to destroy the few laser fences guarding the way and found herself near the spice grinding wheel, she then contacted Bentley
"I'm in visual range of the spice grinder, what's next" Neyla asked
"Rajan won't come out of hiding while spice is still being manufactured, to get at him and the other half of the Clockwerk heart, we'll need to destroy the grinder, once that's done, he'll be out of business, and he'll have no reason to stick around the temple" Bentley answered
"Great, we do the world a favor and it return master will be one step closer to ridding the world of Clockwerk for good" Neyla replied
"True enough, place a TNT barrel into that open, spice grinding space and the whole thing will go boom" Bentley told Neyla, it took a little tricky maneuvering, but Neyla got past the guards and blew the grinder wheel
"What's going on down there, looks like spice production has fallen behind…WAIT…ITS COMPLETELY STOPPED" Rajan's voice was heard over the loudspeaker
"And that's all she wrote" Neyla stated before exiting the area
(Outside)
Once outside, it was time to get some serious firepower, Neyla went for another assignment location and contacted Bentley
"We've been contracted to acquire that huge ruby of Rajan's for a local crime ring, in exchange for the goods, they'll set us up with a Cherry bomb FIVE HUDNRED for the heist" Bentley said
"A Cherry bomb FIVE HUNDRED, that's more than ten times the force of yours and Sly's bombs put together" Neyla stated
"Trust me, we're gonna need it, now, I assume you know how to loosen the moorings around the ruby" Bentley asked
"Like I know my raccoon's handsome face" Neyla answered, she then took out one of the throwing needles and started digging around the ruby and gently got it out, while she did that Murray was sent in to help move it, Bentley then contacted Murray over the earpiece
"Murray you're on, Neyla's working on getting the ruby lose and now we need your strength to get it to the buyers" Bentley said
"MUSCLE ON THE WAY" Murray said before he made his way to the ruby, once he got there Neyla got the ruby lose
"LOOK OUT BELOW" Neyla shouted as the ruby fell into Murray's hands
"Great catch Murray" Neyla said
"You BET" Murray replied before Mario contacted him
"Murray, you're the only one strong enough to carry that heavy piece of jewelry, but don't be fooled my big, pink friend…despite its size, that thing is REALLY fragile, so Bentley's gonna run ahead and inflate cushions that are safe to throw the goods onto, use em or this operation's a bust" Mario explained
"Got it sir" Murray replied
"Now, head out to the rendezvous point, near the waterfall" Mario replied
"RIGHT" Mario replied as he did what he was told, he and Bentley worked together to get it to the buyers at the waterfall, who appeared in blue cloaks
"This ruby is near flawless, I'll recommend to my superiors that we purchase it, take it to our buyer and complete the contract" The buyer told Murray and Bentley as they moved the ruby again, they got past some guards along the way with very little trouble and they got it to the buyer for the criminal ring
"I must say, the Cooper gang truly lived up to their reputation, this is a true, Indian treasure, we will honor our agreement and deliver a Cherry bomb five hundred at the time the turtle requested" The buyer told Murray before he took off with the ruby, finally, it was Bentley's turn to step up to the field, he then went to the location of his job and there was a carrier truck nearby, Sly then contacted him
"Alright, Bentley, any ideas how to flush Rajan out of his hole" Sly asked
"Tigers, like all cats including yours truly have an aversion to water by destroying that dam, the temple will be filled with a runoff" Bentley answered
"Not a bad plan but I doubt your bombs are strong enough for the job" Sly said
"Sadly, they aren't, but fortunately for us, I've received word that a new, auto-pilot, attack helicopter had just arrived, it's seating in the carrier truck near my location" Bentley answered
"Okay, just stay sharp, that dam is sure to be well protected" Sly told him, Bentley took to the air with the helicopter after hacking into it to get it going and attacked the dame like Sly said, it was well defended however Bentley came through and destroyed it
"Great shooting, Bentley, I hope Rajan knows how to swim" Sly said over the earpiece, but the mouth of the temple's elephant head blocked most of it
"UH-OH, a piece of the dam struck the chopper, SHE'S GOING DOWN" Bentley yelled as the chopper he was piloting was going down but luckily, its weight was supported by falling on top of a hug spire, making it easily accessible for later
"OH…AH…OW…OOF" Bentley grunted every bump he got as he fell down the built in stairs that lead to the ground floor
"OOOOOOOOH" Bentley grunted
"Bentley, you okay buddy" Sly asked through the earpiece
"Uh…yeah…yeah, I'm good" Bentley replied before he took off and got back to the safehouse where he started explaining the heist to the others

"Partial flooding didn't work, so it's time to go the distance, he's my plan, flooding the temple grounds should turn this entire place into a swimming pool, I'll cover Murray with the attack choppers turret from the air while Neyla protects him from the ground, while he pries the mouth of the elephant temple open, Sly will then move the Cherry bomb five hundred into position near the throat of the temple, then all of you get to high ground as fast as you guys can, Rajan is sure to show up and be EXTRA angry, jump him, snag his Clockwerk heart and we're out of here like yesterday's garbage"

After the slide show, everyone moved into position for the heist, Murray, Neyla and Bentley head out for the gunship turret
"Alright guys, I'll set up shop here and cover ya'll with the turret while Murray pries open the elephant temples mouth for Sly" Bentley said
"And I'll be sure to watch your back out there, big guy" Neyla told Murray
"You can COUNT ON THE MURRAY" Murray said
"Go get em" Bentley told the three before they separated, after Murray and Neyla cleared off some guards watching over the lever for the elephant temple mouth Murray then used his strength to pry the elephant temple mouth open and thanks to Bentley, he was covered from anything that tried to stop him including Rajan who tried to drop unexpected and harmful surprises on Murray, next was Sly after Murray got the mouth open, he then contacted him
"The mouth is open, Sly, you're all clear to bring in the Cherry bomb five hundred" Murray told him, Sly then took the bomb and got past the guards and into the throat of the elephant temple, he then set it
"This is gonna be SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET" Sly stated before he and the others moved like they're asses were on fire to higher ground, once the bomb blew, the WHOLE PLACE was flooded with water, which drew Rajan out and he was NOT HAPPY, he ended up on top of the elephant head temple
"BLACK CLOUDS AND THUNDERBOLTS, MY SPICE TEMPLE, RUINED, I will no longer hide while you villains destroy my hard-won empire, this place is mine, HERE I AM KING…come, face me Cooper, with Clockwerk's black heart, I will show you TRUE POWER, YOU AND YOUR PATHETIC GANG…ARE…NOTHING COMPARED TO MY GLORY…COME, face the might of RAJAN, LORD OF THESE HILLS" Rajan shouted to the heavens
"He is not a happy camper" Murray said
"WOW, when we wanna piss someone off, we REALLY do the job" Neyla said
"Sly, Neyla move in for the grab the heart" Bentley called through the earpiece
"LET'S GO" Sly told Neyla as the lovers moved along the remaining spires that lead them up to Rajan, who tried to stop them with lightning bolts he shot from Clockwerk's heart on the end of his staff but they got up to him, Sly then leaped up and used his left leg to trip him before Neyla tried to grab the heart but Rajan shocked her and sent her flying into the huge pool that was drained of water, thanks to the flooding
"NEYLA" Sly and Murray yelled at the same time
"I'M COMING NEYLA" Murray shouted as he and Sly dove in after Neyla who was knocked out on the floor
"Neyla, NEYLA WAKE UP" Sly said as he tried to wake Neyla up, she grunted before looking at him, showing that she had a single scar on the left side of her face, just inches from touching her left eye on the edge
"OOOOOOOW" Neyla grunted before passing out, Rajan then jumped into the pool as well, Sly and Murray turned to face Rajan
"YOU, I swear, if you did any permanent damage, I'll turn you into the world's UGLIEST TIGER-SKIN RUG" Sly threatened Rajan
"NOT AFTER I GET THROUGH WITH HIM" Murray added
"This is IT, this is the Cooper gang I have heard so much about and FEARED these long hours" Rajan asked
"The Murray will RENEW YOUR FEAR" Murray said
"You hurt my lovely tigress, you BASTARD, you'll PAY FOR THAT" Sly added
"Even if its two on one, NONE of you can beat a king in his own kingdom, after I dispose of you, I'll not only rebuild my empire, even GREATER than before" Rajan said before he saw Neyla
"And for humiliating me at the ball, along with my new kingdom, I may take the tigress as my personal breeder, make sure I have heirs to continue my legacy" Rajan said, that TORE it for Sly
"If you DARE to even THINK about doing that to Neyla, I will RIP YOUR HEART OUT AND FEED IT TO YOU" Sly yelled in anger before he and Murray took on Rajan, he wasn't all talk, Rajan was very strong and with the power of Clockwerk's black heart he was very difficult to take down, he even managed to knock Murray out leaving only Sly to fight him but eventually the raccoon got in close for a killing blow, he sliced the back of Rajan's legs, making him fall on his knees, he then tried to attack with his staff but Sly blocked and disarmed him, he then stabbed Rajan in his right shoulder, disabling him form the feeling in his arm, Sly then gripped Rajan by his throat and punched him several times with his right fist that was armed with his brass knuckles causing Rajan's mouth and nose to bleed, Rajan was barely holding onto consciousness as he was dazed, Sly then took off his mask and hood
"You INSOLENT BRAT, you DARE…to strike a KING" Rajan said before he spat out blood
"You DARED to talk about the woman I love like that…that can't be forgiven" Sly told Rajan before he pulled out his bow and shot several arrows at Rajan, pinning him to the wall through both his shoulders, forearms and legs, Sly then walked up to Rajan who then roared in Sly's face, but he showed no fear before he extended his hidden blade before jabbing it through Rajan's left spline
(Scene slows down)
"No…NO…you…can't defeat the lord of the hills" Rajan told Sly, slowly losing blood, Sly then whipped an eagle feather in some of the blood off Rajan
"You dared to make that remark about Neyla, you do the math on how I beat you" Sly told Rajan
"You ruined me, COOPER, I would have been the MASTER OF INDIA HAD YOU STAYED OUT OF MY WAY" Rajan shouted
"Only a master of crime, Rajan" Sly told him
"The others…they will make you PAY for this outrage" Rajan told him, Sly then took his dagger
"Then I'll KILL them to" Sly said before he DUG into Rajan's chest
(For all of those in the audience with weak stomach's…COVER YOUR EYES)
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" Rajan roared in absolute pain, his cry echoing through the entire jungle before Sly cut open Rajan's chest before he reached inside Rajan's chest with his right hand and yanked out Rajan heart, showing it to the dying make-believe king
"I told you that I would make you EAT your own heart" Sly said before he forced the heart into Rajan's mouth with violent shoves, forcing the heart down his throat
"NOW SWALLOW" Sly growled before Rajan died in front of Sly, going limb and hanging from the wall like a puppet on a string
"The king…is DEAD, Requiescet in pace, BASTARDO" Sly growled
(Scene speeds back up)
Sly then walked over to the Clockwerk heart and picked it up, suddenly Sly noticed four figures on top of the wall of the huge pond, Carmelita, Nick, the Contessa and a newcomer (Who was in an outfit like that of Taskmaster from the "Black widow" movie but with a black poncho on)
"Contessa, I thought you said that Sly Cooper would be difficult prey to track and even more so to catch…I caught him in just five days" The masked man said
"I'm guessing you're the Terminator" Sly asked the masked man
"My reputation precedes me" The Terminator replied, this was the man Nick warned Sly about
"Your skills do you well my friend, Carmelita has been trying for years to capture Cooper, yet you capture him in mere days" Contessa said
"Well, I never" Carmelita was about to say
"Really Carmelita, accept your defeat gracefully" Contessa said
"I must say it is truly a pleasure to come face to face with a member of the infamous Assassin's brotherhood" Terminator said
"You KNOW about my mother's lineage" Sly asked
"Can't properly hunt your prey if you don't know what makes them tick…to be perfectly honest I thought you and your gang would be more elusive prey…oh well a prize is a prize" Terminator said
"And you will get what you were promised my friend" Contessa said
"Oh…I ain't done yet" Terminator said as he put his hands on Carmelita's and Nick's shoulders, and they were shocked by something in Slate's right glove
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" Carmelita and Nick yelled before the foxes fell forward into the hole with the others, Sly then sprinted so he was under the two and caught them
"BASTARD" Sly yelled
"I assume you have a GOOD reason why you shocked Inspector Fox and Nick" Contessa asked
"As a matter of fact, I do, you see I was there the night of the royal ball, I was already gonna bag Sly for his bounty…and I saw something that I find interesting" Terminator said before pulling out a photo
"This is a photo of both Nick and Carmelita dancing with Sly and his partner, former Interpol cop, Neyla, it was also on the same night that the Clockwerk wings were stolen…Carmelita and Nick have been in league with Sly and his gang the WHOLE time" Terminator explained
"Both inspectors…traitors to their badges" Contessa said as from behind her men in military-issued uniforms came up behind Contessa and Terminator
"Men, get em out of there then put them in chains and if Sly gives you ANY trouble…shoot the tigress first" Terminator told the men, Sly's eyes widened
"Yes sir" The leader of the men replied, the men then moved in closer
"YOU WOULDN'T DARE" Sly growled
"You're in no position to say that Cooper, so be nice or it won't be JUST your girlfriend who gets her ticket to the afterlife punched" Terminator said before he snapped his finger and one of his men approached with a captured MARIO
"GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME" Mario demanded as he tried to pry free from his captors
"UNCLE…WHY YOU BASTARD" Sly growled
"Now, now…BEST behavior boy, or your uncle gets what Nick and Carmelita got, ONLY WORSE" Terminator said, Sly growled in anger before the masked man radiated electricity from his right hand
"Ah, ah, ah…DOWN BOY" Terminator said as he threatened to shock Mario, Sly wanted to fight back but with both the safety of his crew, uncle Mario and worse, Neyla on the line…he had no choice, so he stood down
"There's a good boy, load em up boys" Terminator said
"You will REGRET this whoever the hell you are under that mask, I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS, DON'T THINK I WON'T" Sly swore in anger to the masked man
"Many men far superior to you have said the same…only to end up in an early GRAVE" Terminator replied, meanwhile Bentley was watching the whole thing from afar
"I…I can't BELIEVE THIS…Sly, Mario, Murray, Neyla…this CAN'T BE HAPPENING" Bentley muttered as a mysterious being appeared behind him
"It looks like I'm too late" A female voice spoke up, Bentley turned to shoot at whoever was behind, him but the person caught his crossbow
"EASY, I ain't here to hurt you" The woman told Bentley
"WHO ARE YOU" Bentley asked, who he saw was a beautiful, cheetah woman (She has shoulder-length, ash blond hair, amber eyes, she had a body figure that rivaled that of Widowmaker from "Overwatch", she wore the outfit of Gwen 10,000 from the original "Ben 10" TV series minus the magic stones aligning the right arm along with a red pouch attached to her left thigh)
"GAAAH" Bentley shouted as he pointed his crossbow at her
"D-D-D-DON'T MOVE" Bentley said with a shaky voice
"Easy, I'm not gonna hurt you" She told Bentley
"WHO ARE YOU" Bentley asked
"My name is Jasmine, I am…or WAS Rajan's daughter" Jasmine said
"Wh-WH-WHAT, Rajan's files didn't say ANYTHING about a daughter" Bentley said
"That's because he left me and my mother before I was even born, he didn't want anyone to know that I even existed, I saw what happened to your friends and I want to help you" Jasmine said
"Wh-why" Bentley asked, still on guard
"I originally came here to take my father in and bring him to the authorities…but seeing as how Cooper took care of him, I guess I should repay him for that" Jasmine said, soon enough Synu came around
"SYNU" Bentley said before the eagle landed on Bentley's hat, she seemed sad
"I know, Sly's been captured, but don't worry, I'll THINK of something…eventually" Bentley said
"You mean WE'LL think of something" Jasmine asked
"How can I even TRUST you" Bentley asked before Synu looked at Jasmine first with curiosity before she flapped over to Jasmine and landed in her hand
"What a pretty bird" Jasmine said
"Hmm…weird" Bentley said
"What's weird" She asked
"I've known Synu for about ten years now and I've come to the conclusion that she's a GOOD judge of character, she would NEVER come onto someone she doesn't think is a good person" Bentley said
"And that means" Jasmine asked
"It means that…I guess I can trust you…for now, but you said you could help me" Bentley asked
"I tracked my father here, let me help you track down your friends" Jasmine said, Bentley thought about it before he sighed
"Alright…given my current situation, I guess I don't have much choice" Bentley said
"I see your point, by the way I didn't get your name" Jasmine said
"I'm Bentley" Bentley replied, Jasmine then held out her hand
"Partners" Jasmine asked, Bentley hesitated before he shook her hand
"For the time being" Bentley replied
*I hope I don't come to REGRET this* Bentley said in his mind
(On top of the gang's jungle hideout)
The same mysterious figure from Rajan's ballroom stood on the gang's hideout and watched the whole thing unfold through a pair of binoculars
"Damn" The mysterious figure muttered before his cell phone rang and he answered, knowing it was the grandmaster
"Hello" The mysterious figure answered his phone
"Status" The grandmaster said
"Subject is captured…his gang as well" The mysterious figure answered
"And Rajan" The grandmaster asked
"Dead" The mysterious man answered
"I see…I'll send some of our agents to take care of Rajan's spice temple, who knows it might become useful to us" The grandmaster said
"And what about the subject" The mysterious figure asked
"Continue to follow and observe him, the rest of the gang as well…make sure to be thorough about your observation on them" The grandmaster replied
"Yes, grandmaster" The mysterious figure replied before hanging up before looking at Sly, Mario, Murray, Carmelita and Nick being taken away to parts unknown
"Well Cooper…I wonder if you'll be able to get out of this one" The mysterious figure muttered as he wondered how the "subject" was going to get out of this one
(Bentley's P.O.V)
"While statistically improbable…I had to face the cold, hard facts, thanks to this Terminator guy that Nick warned us about not only were Inspectors Carmelita and Nick betrayed but also Neyla, Murray, Mario and Sly were captured…leaving me all alone, from the way Sly went about things, given his training with Mario and his teachings from his family book, he seemed like an almost invincible person, strong, cunning and can find a way out of any situation but I guess not even he is unstoppable, I have to do something, the long walk out of the jungle gave me time to reflect and with each step…my sense of isolation grew even with this Jasmine by my side, it just wasn't the same without the friends I've known for over TWENTY years, naturally the reality of being alone kind of had an emotionally effect on me…this is it, this was a TRUE test of friendship, upon reaching the van, my resolve was hardened, I had to save my friends…but first things first…I had to learn how to drive a stick shift"
(End of P.O.V)
DUN, DUN DUUUUUUUUUH, the crew captured and bound, and this new player enters the frame, what will happen next?
Find out next time in chapter 5 where Bentley is forced to fend for himself and rescue the gang from the grip of the Contessa then there's this mysterious daughter of Rajan, Jasmine can she be trusted?
Also who is this mysterious figure and this "grandmaster" that seems to be following the Cooper gang? (What do you guys think?)
