Gone Fishing
Life at Hogwarts had become difficult since the attack on Sodor and the break in which resulted in Arisa Shiba and her housemates getting poisoned by the forces of darkness. Due to not wanting the virus to spread Yzma was forced to cancel the assembly she planned starring the Power Team. She did not want to risk the Power Team or any other guests especially those from America being infected with the virus especially if what the Magical Center for Disease Control suspected was true about the new virus. In the staff room Kenny Rodgers, Duncan and Margaret Rosenblatt had gathered the entire faculty for a discussion they needed to have after classes were done for the day.
"Yzma what were you thinking when you canceled the assembly involving the Power Team?" Kenny questioned the Defense Professor, "We need to send a message of what true power is and we cannot do that without the Power Team."
"Believe me when I say I understand that Kenny. Unfortunately, with the disk containing the Swordfish Spirit destroyed I cannot risk a virus killing the students in response to any assemblies involving the Power Team," Yzma said, "And I need not remind you lot that while the attack on Arisa Shiba via poison was not related to the basilisk unfortunately it does relate to my challenge. Had Arisa died that would have been the end of my challenge. Whoever is behind this wants to send a message that any and all Muggleborns and those with creature blood are not welcome in Hogwarts or the Wizarding World in General. Which means I had best watch it and that unfortunately means no more assemblies involving the Power Team or any muggles until further notice."
The Staff were shocked at what Yzma was suggesting but Jackie decided to speak.
"Perhaps we should do what we can to avoid a fight and negotiate," Jackie suggested hoping to avoid a potential fight and a blood bath, "Perhaps if we avoid making too many changes or provoking the anger of those in charge and maybe the attacks will stop. Perhaps we can try to negotiate and try a peaceful way to resolve this rather than using the Arkeyan Empire's methods of handling things. After all the greatest victory is the battle not fought."
At that point Margaret Rosenblatt, Duncan, Kenny, and Coach Barnes decided to explain to Jackie what they were up against.
"Jackie while I understand that you want to avoid a fight and prefer to solve things peacefully you have to understand that in order for change to occur brute force is needed and since the bigots in power won't yield then the Arkeyan Empire approach is needed," Coach Barnes said.
"Besides with the bigoted pureblood elite in government positions we can't wait for the proper authorities to handle things," Duncan said, "And neither can we trust anyone else on the board besides Abigail Bones. Once Yzma wins her challenge we can start making real progress."
"And that means finally getting rid of the Malfoys for good," Kenny added, "They've caused us problem after problem after problem and the elite in the ministry are only making things worse."
"I understand what you're saying but can't we try something that does not involve brute force?" Jackie asked only to get dope slapped by Uncle, "Ow!"
"Jackie brute force is the only way the Arkeyan Battle challenge can be won," Uncle snapped. "And we still need power of sword fish."
"On that exact note the GFMC are still looking for the Swordfish Spirit which means we'll need an Aquatic Arkeyan weapon Master to capture the fish," Margaret Rosenblatt said, "Unfortunately we got word that the army that attacked the Creevy, Sand, and Heaver families is looking for the swordfish spirit to destroy it. Should the forces of darkness find the swordfish spirit first and destroy it then Kai and Fumi will be completely free to unleash all the virus based curses they want and with no way to cross dimensions our only hope is the horse talisman."
"I can't believe this is happening but somehow I'm not surprised," Aurea sighed before speaking, "My people are quite harsh to anyone who crosses them. Ask Germany. After World War 2 ended the Arkeyan Empire went in to rebuild Germany and all of Europe in the magical and non magical worlds and pretty much put all of the European nations under their rule for at least 10 years."
"Let's not forget what they did to North America after World War 1," said Aurora, "The American Ambassador said something that offended the Arkeyan Weapon Masters so badly that the Arkeyans destroyed the Ambassadors home town and made the Ambassador watch before burning him at the stake and the entire eastern seaboard in the process."
"What did you expect from my people?" Aurea chimed in, "We Arkeyans rule all of Skylands and the entire universe. The enemies of the Arkeyan Empire had two choices. Bow their knee to the Arkeyan Weapon Masters or die. Certain foolish civilizations refused to bow down to the empire so we wiped them from existence just like we did to Planet Aridia and every star and planet in it's entire dimension ten thousand years ago. We don't take shit from anyone."
Aurea even added full and complete visuals of the devastation the Arkeyan Weapon Masters wreaked upon the entire eastern seaboard of North America during that time period and needless to say, the entire staff were outright shocked at what Aurea was saying and none more so than Sybil Trelawney. The Divination Professor hadn't been this shocked since she found out that she had Arkeyan DNA on the day she went to get her blood inheritance test the day that Professor Yzma Milano suggested she go to Gringotts. She found out that her ancestor Cassandra Trelawney was a seer and had married an Arkeyan Weapon Master from the Radiant Isles was shocking and the Arkeyans from the Radiant Isles focused on the arts and culture. Sybill also thanked Merlin that Professor Yzma Milano advised her constantly not to ride on her ancestor Cassandra Trelawney's coattails as she was able to make something of her life. Before any further comments could be made Professor Paradox showed up via a portal with a new white disk with blank markings and a fishing pole to place the disk.
"Greetings one and all, I see that my help is needed once again, "Professor Paradox said, "Feel like going fishing? I have good news. I found the Swordfish spirit," It's currently in the black lake but it's acting like a wild animal for the moment."
"That can't be good," Tohru said, "So what are we going to do about the swordfish?"
"The Swordfish Spirit is acting like a fish which means one of us must use this fishing pole to capture the ronin spirit," Professor Paradox said, "Just stay focused. We should also bring Arisa Shiba along as well. We'll need her help."
"I think I can manage it," Jackie said, "Fishing shouldn't be too difficult. It sounds like a relaxing activity."
"Brace yourself Jackie," said Yzma, "The Swordfish spirit is not your typical fish."
"Yzma's right and here's more bad news," Professor Paradox said, "The Dursleys have escaped from prison before Druella could orchestrate any additional final punishments and they've been shipped to a country without extradition to the United Kingdom and said country is willing to plant their feet against the United Kingdom and Ireland even if the Arkeyan Weapon Masters should back them up."
The staff were beyond shocked and horrified at that news and completely appalled that somebody not only helped the Dursleys escape from prison but placed them in a country with no extradition treaties with the United Kingdom and that said country was willing to fight the United Kingdom even if the Arkeyan Weapon Masters should back them up. The Arkeyan Weapon Masters among the staff which were Eric Bones the Magical Law, Politics and Tradition Professor, Lisa Bei Fong the Monster Girl Culture and History Professor and Aurea Dumbledore the new head of the Hogwarts Administration were beyond outraged and prepared to summon the power of their respective Arkeyan Governors which match their native elements.
"Jackie get Arisa and get the Swordfish Spirit," Yzma said, "The sooner we have it the sooner we can finally make some real progress. If anyone can get her to hand over the Swordfish Spirit to the MCDC long enough for us to make a vaccine from the current viruses it's you."
Jackie left without a word as the classes were about to begin.
On the Island of Sodor Myra was having some harsh words of her own with Abigail Bones and her husband Jubal about the Hogwarts Board of Governors and the Ministry and this time she was joined by her brother Lord Milton Perkins and the Greek God of War and Violence himself, Ares.
"I've seen all I need to see compliments of your ancestor Tana and her husband Isaiah," Myra said brandishing the Star Saber, "Lucius Malfoy is a bigot, he's a waste of space unfit for anything but spouting pureblood supremacy crap and Cornelius Fudge is an idiot. Cornelius Fudge should never have been elected Minister for Magic. I have seen many ministers and so has your husband Jubal and the only one we actually liked and respected the most was Nobby Leach. Regardless I plan to challenge Fudge for his job and I will kick his ass and Varis Malfoy's ass should he dare show up but now I need you to be honest with me. You and Jubal called me to help get Hogwarts and the Ministry back on track so we can make real progress in Magical Britain right?"
"Yes we did Myra," Abigail Bones spoke still terrified of the mention of Varis, "But what's the plan."
"Basically Myra cannot fix Hogwarts and the Ministry with the above mentioned schmucks in power in the ministry nor can she do much of anything about the Defense position at Hogwarts due to the idiot Lockhart messing things up," Ares the Greek God of War explained, "You have got to make the biggest decision you've ever made since your nephew Edgar Bones and his wife and his siblings were murdered at the hands of death eaters leaving, Susan, Jocky, Laurel, Malcolm, and Elyse as orphans. Whether you continue to work with the dead wood that has drifted into the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts or whether you wake up get a grip and be the boss."
"Basically you're saying my wife needs to grow a back bone now or things will get worse?" Jubal asked as Myra, Milton, and Ares nodded before the god of war continued.
"That's basically what we're telling you Jubal," said Ares, "As her voice is the only one that matters this year the one thing Milton, Myra, and I need Abigail to do is to march up to Lucius Malfoy and Silas McCullen and fire them on the spot for good. The decision is hers and hers alone."
"But there is still the issue of Varis Malfoy," Jubal pointed out, "Abigail is frightened to the bone of him."
"And then there's the issue of his empire," Abigail said terrified.
"As for Varis Malfoy leave him to me. I will personally crush him into paste," Milton said brandishing a sword, "The Sword of Hera will ensure that I do exactly that. Of course should you get cold feet at the last minute Abigail then you will suffer the full extent of the Perkins Family's displeasure and so will Yzma along with all of her relatives and in-laws."
Abigail Bones and her husband Jubal gulped at that as the Perkins Family's fearsome reputation of sending anyone and everyone who incurred their wrath to the intensive care wing of the hospital or in some cases the graveyard along with all of the offenders relatives and in laws was known far and wide across the entire planet and on the British Isles. The Perkins clan was the most fearsome clan of Arkeyans in all of the British Isles. The Hatt family were the ones that suffered the Arkeyan Empire's fury with Wyatt 'Muscles' Hatt suffering the worst of it in America for his mouth despite him being the strongest of the Hatt family. Add in the fact that blood inheritance tests confirmed they had blood ties to one of the head deities of the Japanese Pantheon, the Volcanic Arkeyans, the Cosmic Arkeyans and with the second Lord Perkins having married one of Godric Gryffindor's daughters and that gave Abigail Bones motivation to grow a backbone and fast considering that Milton, Myra and their younger brother Meyer who was currently in America at the moment had a grandmother on their dad's side of the family that was a Phantom Arkeyan Sorceress meant that pissing them off was dangerous beyond belief and Abigail Bones herself had blood ties to a god.
"At this point something really needs to be done and things need to change," Abigail Bones said summoning the same fury she used when she impaled Argus Filch on a stake and chewed the staff out severely, "I plan to make the needed changes. The pureblood elite have gotten too set in their ways and that needs to end."
"Talk is one thing but words don't mean squat," Myra snaped, "Only action means anything around her and in the eyes of the Arkeyan Weapon Masters. You should know since your father the previous Lord Brenton would be hanging his head in shame if he saw how his daughter was being pushed around by a bunch of featherweight bigoted assholes."
At that point Abigail Bones nee Brenton growled since Myra hit a nerve by bringing up her dad but she knew that Myra was right about the fact that she had let her fear of Varis Malfoy control and overwhelm her for far too long and decided that enough was enough and she needed to light the fire in her again.
At that moment Myra could see a spark in Abigail Bones' eyes and that spark was the start of her about to light the fire in her again. Upon seeing that Myra let a ghost of a smile show on her face before sheathing the Star Saber.
"Where do I start training?" Abigail Bones said, "We don't have much time as long as our enemies have the Forge of Solus we're still screwed right now."
"Perhaps we should get Mrs. Mills to take you to the gym," Jubal said, "I think that our niece Amelia and her husband Grimsley need that as well."
"Unfortunately, we have even less time than we thought," Kathy Hatt nee Shiba said as she showed up via a ground bridge with Electra, Lord Ezio Milano, and Lords Roberts and Arkwright, "And that's only the tip of the iceberg."
"Let me guess this is where bad news is spilled before even worse news is spelled," Jubal said having already known the routine by now.
"I found out that Kai Malfoy's got somebody even more powerful backing him and they made a fortune on 9/11 and that they were responsible for the attack on the Sand, Hever, and Creevy families," Kathy said before continuing, "And as his backer he's protected by the bylaws for the duration of the Hogwarts School Year not that he needs the protection considering that I know who the warlord backing Kai Malfoy, his relatives, and the Pureblood Supremacists is. The warlord's name is Lord Arcanon."
"Say what?!" everyone present yelled in unison, "Lord Arcanon is here on Earth?!"
"I am afraid so and that's only the bad news," Kathy added before continuing, "The worst news is that the Dark Lord Arcanon was responsible for the jail break of the Dursleys and he's used their negative energy for another big plan but due to their hatred for all things magic the negative energy he gathered from them is unstable."
"That answers some questions now can you explain who the heck Lord Arcanon is and what he plans to do with the Dursley Family's Negative energy?" Jubal asked.
"Lord Arcanon is the most powerful, dangerous and feared warlord in all of Skylands and this entire dimension," Electra said, "He's also a dark portal master the most powerful, dangerous, and fearsome dark portal master of all time. He's so powerful, fearsome, and dangerous that even my employers the Arkeyan Weapon Masters are afraid of him as much as Magical Britain fears the Dark Lord Voldemort. He's freed Captain Frightbeard and teamed up with anyone and everyone with a grudge against my bosses and he's also made deals with enemies of the United States by helping to ship American Fugitives to non-extradition countries. It was also Arcanon that assisted Voldemort in his ten year reign of terror by slaughtering anyone and everyone who dared to oppose the Death Eaters. Arcanon also helped out Grindelwald and the Axis Powers during the Second World War and wreaked lots of havoc by helping the enemies of the United States. Arcanon is also said to have a Grudge hound or two or a whole pack at his beck and call and an entire army of monsters plenty of which are fire proof ready to crush Duncan Rosenblatt and anyone who teams up with him."
"As if my wife has enough problems already now she has to face a super powerful, seemingly untouchable and invincible warlord that has even the Arkeyan Weapon Masters terrified to the point where some won't even say his name due to fear of a possible curse?" Ezio snapped angrily, "This shit has gone on for far too fucking long!"
"You think we hadn't noticed that and tried to defeat him?!" Lord Roberts snapped back, "Arcanon's made mince meat out of every squad sent after him and slaughtered all of them and the ones who hired us along with the clients entire village in the process. Even MEGTAF was no match for Arcanon's powers and wound up on his hitlist after he slaughtered the entire squad and somehow hunted down and slaughtered all of the squad's relatives and in laws to drive his point home."
"Arcanon's even brutally blasted the Elder Elementals recently and they were all beaten so badly they're currently in the intensive care unit of the hospital and it gets much worse," Lord Arkwright added, "Lord Arcanon's the reason why we lost the Forge of Solos. He is pain beyond description and he marks the graves of his enemies with his inscription. At this point we can only play defense until or should I say unless Yzma wins her challenge because if his monsters and minions don't eliminate us then whatever virus somehow gets unleashed will."
"Well this sucks," Ezio groaned, "Can we finally get some good news around here? How much more bad news much we have to put up with before things change?"
"It's times like these that Psyche would be a big help right now," Lord Roberts said, "She would be able to help the Power Team and help show what true power is considering she is the Goddess of the Human Soul."
"Perhaps but at least I had something to do," Electra said, "Even so I believe that Kathy has something else she would like to say since she has some good news."
"Well I wouldn't call it good news per say," Kathy said, "But I do have news. Tell me are you lot familiar with Ninja Steel and Ninja Super Steel?"
"I know that stuff," Lord Roberts said, "One of my ancestors worked with it but for everyone else why don't you fill them in on Ninja Steel and Ninja Super Steel."
"Long story short Ninja Steel and Ninja Super Steel are rare metal alloys that contain very unique properties that can be used to make Ninja Stars," Kathy said, "However due to the rare alloy the only ones allowed to use the Ninja Stars made from Ninja Steel and Ninja Super Steel are ninjas."
"So basically you'll be able to use the Ninja Steel," said Lord Arkwright before asking, "Anything else we need to know?"
"Yes I can use the ninja steel considering I'm from the Shiba Samurai Clan and all and if you haven't figured this out by now I'm not human, I'm a monster girl, a Kunoichi to be precise," said Kathy as her grappling hook like tail appeared behind her swinging freely, "Anyway my niece Arisa and Jackie Chan have caught plenty of fish from the black lake but not the swordfish spirit. Still at least the Tea Shop and Café and the Three Broomsticks can make use of that new supply of fish as can Hogwarts."
"At least that's a silver lining," said Milton, "But what will you do about the Swordfish Spirit?"
"Arisa and Jackie will just have to focus on the task at hand," said Kathy, "In the Meantime the Positive energy at Hogwarts is starting to rise even if it at the pace of a snail."
"At this point I will take any amount of good news and positive energy no matter how little it is," said Ezio, "This proves that Yzma's promotion to Deputy Headmistress was well deserved."
"Yep and her promotion thanks to Abigail Bones here is the reason for that," Jubal said, "Our grandchildren, Great nieces, and great nephews here have been writing to us saying that the third years and above feel less stressed and finally have places to get together despite being in different houses. The kids also mention that Professor Snape has calmed down a lot since Yzma decided to let him cover NEWT level potions and defense for the fifth years and above."
"I take it that Yzma didn't just give him the job without a catch," said Lord Arkwright, "Nor did Yzma make defense official for him."
"She didn't give that to him without a catch and neither did I," said Abigail Bones, "Snape has to take students who have gotten Exceeds Expectations in Potions into his NEWT level potions classes. Fortunately, he's very impressed with Victoria Bathory's teaching skills so that shouldn't be too much of a problem. As for Defense he has to take students who get Exceeds Expectations in Defense so as not to create a bottle neck due to all the damage the curse on the position has done."
"It also helps that Victoria Bathory has been fucking Snape's brains out every night without protection," said Lord Roberts, "Of course my grandchildren in fifth year and above say the guy is a real bastard when teaching defense sometimes but his education is top notch. It helps that Yzma's done most of the work for him this year which will make his job easier next year. Provided her substitute Felix can step up but then again considering he is well versed in Dark Creatures I'm sure it won't be a problem."
"At least the 1st years won't have to worry about Snape for four years," said Electra "Next on the list is dealing with Bagnold's bungling successor Fudge."
"It won't be easy," said Jubal, "Varis Malfoy probably has somebody backing him to make sure that he does not lose to anyone brave enough to challenge him."
"Then we will just have to crush Varis Malfoy and his backer," Myra said firmly.
"That's assuming our enemies don't unleash more and more negative energy upon us," said Kathy before thinking of something, "Wait a minute when I was reading the letter Arisa Shiba sent me she mentioned that Duncan told her about Harry's unpleasant relatives the Dursleys but she didn't get much out of him."
"Perhaps I can be of some help," Professor Paradox said showing up, "However I bring even more bad news and some worse news. Whoever is blacking anyone trying to stop the Malfoys has already leaked the Arkeyan Empire's most horrific executions and invasions upon this planet and in full high definition."
"If that's the bad news I'm afraid to ask what the worst news is," Jubal said.
Professor Paradox decided to show them everything he showed the staff at Hogwarts in preparation for Yzma's challenge of the four dimensions and basically the only ones not batting an eyelash were the ones with Arkeyan DNA which was all but Jubal and Electra. Jubal and Electra were shocked and gob smacked at the brutality of the executions of all who crossed the Arkeyan Empire with the Emperor himself leading the massive attack as the Governors literally ripped into pieces anyone and everyone related to all who dared to cross, dishonor, or oppose the Arkeyan Weapon Masters as the governors ate part of their enemies alive before feeding their remains of the worst of the worst to the hydra and torturing all of the offenders dead ancestors all the way back to the beginning of creation which included the destruction of Planet Aridia and every star planet and galaxy in its entire dimension over 10,000 years ago. The sheer scale of the Arkeyan Empire's rage cracked the dimensional barriers causing their enemies dimensional counterparts to feel the sting of the Arkeyan Empire's unstoppable fury past, present, and future.
"As you can see the people of this dimension are dead terrified of the Arkeyan Weapon Masters," Professor Paradox said. "All of creation saw this footage as it somehow got leaked and they're terrified that the Arkeyans of this Dimension will destroy the planet and not even Belloc himself will be able to stop them."
"The idiots in those dimensions had it coming," Myra said coldly, "My boss' counterpart is the most fearsome of the eight governors for the reasons her counterpart just displayed and her cousin Kayleigh, her aunt Karen, and her Grandmother Agatha all drive that point home. In fact, all of them personally said they'd love nothing more to tear Varis Malfoy and all of his relatives and in laws into pieces and eat part of them just as the Māori people did to their enemies."
"At this point Yzma better win her challenge or Planet Earth will taste the full fury of our empire's displeasure," Milton added, "And trust us the visions from those dimensions will be minor compared to what we Arkeyans of this dimension will do."
"Let me reassure you that I took a peak into the future of this timeline and while Yzma is motivated to win her challenge terrible things will unfortunately come to pass," said Professor Paradox, "And we risk losing Duncan Rosenblatt for at least an entire year."
"I thought he and his mother said that nothing Kai has in his army was tough enough to eliminate Duncan," Lord Arkwright said confused, "Something's not right."
"Kai probably has new monsters that are fire proof," said Lord Roberts, "Which means we need to look into monsters of the Water, Earth, and Fire Elements and I need to prepare myself for battle. It's only a matter of time before Kai's backers attack."
"In the meantime, Myra, Jubal and I are gonna go check on Arisa and see if she has the Sword Fish Spirit," Abigail said, "Perhaps we can get a rundown on what's happening at Hogwarts from our grandchildren before visiting our son Alaric and our niece Amelia to ask what the heck is going on at the Ministry."
On that note, Professor Paradox, Myra Lupin, Abigail Bones, and her husband Jubal left for Hogwarts at once.
Back at Hogwarts Arisa Shiba was having problems of her own. Jackie passed out from the negative energy surge as did Uncle, Tohru, and Jade. Arisa also got news that all of San Fran and Section 13 were completely demolished due to the full blast of negative energy that somehow hit the place and that in turn landed the place with the biggest jail break yet and a massive theft of all the magical relics stored there including the Talismans and the Statue of Shendu. Unfortunately the Forces of Darkness decided to test both the talismans and the statue and found that while the talismans were real the statue was a convincing fake which they promptly destroyed on the spot before vanishing and taking Peter Pettigrew with them as the rat faced traitor was placed there by the Arkeyans since they thought he'd be out of Voldemort's reach. The massive attack and surge of negative energy served to further sour Arisa's opinion of the competence of the people of Earth as well as the opinions of all the other Arkeyan students and the next show of Earth's muck ups would be the last straw for the empire.
'The people of this planet and their ability to fix their own problems sucks so badly if they can't even keep security of their most dangerous criminals,' the 4th year Ravenclaw Shiba Girl thought as she kept fishing, 'So far MEGTAF's safe and that's what has kept our people's confidence in this planet from falling but if MEGTAF falls then this planet is doomed like all of Aridia. All the Arkeyans such as myself know the story of what happened and how it happened and why. Still, I have to focus on the task at hand and capture the swordfish spirit.'
Arisa focused her energy and channeled it into the fishing pole. She felt a tug but this one was stronger than the others so far which meant Arisa had to fight hard to get the fish. After much tugging Arisa managed to hook a fish and it was a massive teal swordfish almost the size of a building. The Swordfish Spirit flew into the air towards Arisa who in turn aimed the disk at the fish and it's nose blade connected to the disk turning the disk itself teal once again.
"Finally I have the swordfish spirit once again," Arisa said, "And this time I'm not giving it up for anyone or for anything. Should anyone attempt to take the fish from me I'll slaughter the lot of them!"
"Now I remember why I heard nothing but good things about the Shiba Clan from my old friend Gwendolyn Roberts or perhaps you know her as Gwen Himura," Myra said, "The Shiba clan does not take shit from anyone and will burn to a crisp anyone foolish enough to attack or dishonor them or those they're protecting."
"Myra I remember you," Arisa said, "You used to visit us when you visited Gwen."
"Enough with the yapping what's going on and why is Jackie passed out," Jubal asked.
"Take him to the hospital wing," Professor Paradox said, "If I'm right Tana's expecting us."
Sure enough Tana the Greek Goddess of Time and Chronicling was there in the Hospital Wing as Madam Pomfrey was tending to Uncle, Tohru and Jade and she was swamped even with Elizabeth Moon helping her but the shocking sight was Yzma Milano on a hospital bed passed out and her stress levels were very high and rising fast. Her hair had already started turning gray in the process.
"Oh, dear another one, put him here," Poppy sighed, "In all my years this is the first time I've had a member of the staff pass out unconscious due to the sheer stress."
"This is much worse than I feared and my employers are not in a good mood at all. In fact, even they're getting terrified of the power of the Arkeyan Weapon Masters and it's gotten to the point that I'm starting to think that should they try to stop the Arkeyans then the Arkeyans will slaughter them just as the people of this planet saw the Arkeyans slaughter and massacre all who dared to cross them and all of their enemies relatives in the process," Tana said getting everyone's attention, "I managed to book the Power Team since they want to inspire others to stand up for themselves and others to do what they know is right, to move forward and evolve with the times and inspire others to reach their goals and dreams instead of bowing their knees to peer pressure and bigotry and letting the bigots steal their goals and dreams."
"That drivel is no help to anyone at this point," Severus remarked, "Not when Kai Malfoy and his empire can just eliminate and impale the Power Team to drive home his point."
"And the point he plans to drive home is that anyone who stand sin the way of the pureblood supremacy elite is going to die," Pomona sighed feeling nearly defeated due to the recent turn of events.
"Just when we finally make progress this happens," Filius added with a sigh, "It's like we're being pushed back two steps for each step forward we take."
"And those who have a grudge against Duncan and his relatives are becoming more outspoken than ever," said Minerva, "The grudge has even extended to Kenny and his foster relatives because Kai Malfoy and his organization and backer have even more power."
"At this rate if Yzma dies then not only will she fail her challenge the parents of the Muggleborn students will pull their kids from Hogwarts one by one until there are none left," Aurora said, "And the Human Fathers of the Monster Girls will most likely do the same and pull their daughters out as well until only the Purebloods and Half-bloods are left."
"It's like all our hopes for their year are dying one by one," Rolanda spoke," And the Basilisk in the chamber of Secrets is the least of our problems. If the basilisk doesn't kill us the virus or Yzma's death will."
"There is still a chance to turn this around but with the dimensional barriers cracked and the negative energy from other dimensions having reached critical levels causing four members of staff and a student to pass out and my powers to see time completely blocked we're doomed," Tana said, "I still have my powers as the goddess of Chronicling but that's pretty much useless."
"Margaret Rosenblatt, Duncan, Kenny care to comment on this?" Professor Paradox asked, "This is time for you three to deliver a motivational speech cause the staff really need one."
Margaret Rosenblatt, Duncan, and Kenny heard enough and decided the time to speak had come.
"Giving up is what those pureblood bastards WANT us to do," Duncan said, growling.
"A wise muggle named Edmund Burke once said, 'the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing'. " Margaret added.
"Many of us are afraid. Many of our allies are afraid. But we CAN'T let that stop us," Kenny put in. "Courage is not the absence of fear. It's the determination that something else is more important than fear."
"Never forget that fear is just the precursor to valor," Duncan said projecting strength and confidence, "That to strive and triumph in the face of fear is what it means to be a hero."
At that point Druella, Felix, Eric, Charity, Lisa Bei Fong, and Bradley 'Blitz' Barnes heard enough and so did Baniti, Druella's Arkeyan Sorcerer husband and decided they had to speak up.
"I get that the Situation is hopeless but as Margaret, Kenny, and Duncan just said we cannot give up not now or not ever," Felix said, "I still believe that Aunt Yzma can win her challenge and turn this whole mess around but she needs all of us to wake up, get a grip and keep fighting for hope, for truth, for light, and for all that is good. We must stand together to prevail against these bigots."
"My husband Felix is right," Charity said, "If we fold now then we'd only be giving pureblood supremacist bastards like the Malfoys and Umbridge what they want. That's why I continue to teach non Magical studies and I took defense class seriously from Aunt Yzma and Lady Myra. The Forces of Darkness may kill me but I'd rather go down fighting for what I believe in rather than beg and plead for my life. That's the way of the warrior and that's how I intend to live my life."
"I continue to teach Monster Girl History and Culture class with the intent on teaching tolerance and understanding and I have no fear of assholes like these cowardly pureblood supremacist bigots," Lisa Bei Fong added, "I believe in Yzma, her family, and her friends and by her family and friends I mean the true family and true friends that are willing to stand by her through thick and thin, the ones willing to follow the Power Team's Advice no matter what and that's a lesson I learned at Ilvermorny."
"Despite the Arkeyan Empire's Client protection bylaws which are now at Level 2 which are wreaking havoc by protecting Kai Malfoy, his relatives and his organization from justice I believe the bylaws can turn this year in our favor," Eric Bones explained, "The bylaws forbid any action against the aforementioned but Yzma's challenge is what's keeping Yzma and her family from being attacked directly. However, there is a weakness. The bylaws however say nothing about the Dragon Booster, the Crescent Booster or the Grand White Witch."
"What do you mean by that?" Elizabeth Moon asked.
"What Eric means is that our only hope right now is the Dragon Booster, the Crescent Booster, and the Grand White Witch are currently the only hope we have to take on Kai Malfoy and his organization until Yzma wins her challenge," Bradley Blitz Barnes the Hogwarts Gym Teacher said, "I can train and guide them but we have to stand up and continue to fight for our futures."
"This is exactly like the days when I was fixing the mess that Lescatie was in before I helped put Orion Pax Lescatie on the throne as the new king after fixing up the place with his insight," Druella said, "You'd be surprised how insightful he is considering he spent much his time as an archivist and he's learned a lot from studying the records of all the families of Lescatie."
"Either way the main point is that Kai and Arcanon are doing everything in their power to make sure that the conditions for Yzma failing her challenge are met and that can only be for one reason," said Baniti, "They know that should Yzma win her challenge she will unleash a wave of positive change. They know that if Yzma wins the pureblood elite currently in power fear that they and Magical Britain will end up like Sodor, the rest of Europe and all of North America. They know that if Yzma wins we will use the Truth Will Out Bylaw to kick them out of power and put a merit-based system as Charity Burbage said complete with the Truth Will Out Bill leading the charge in the Ministry just as the Truth Will Out Bylaw is doing our job here at Hogwarts and how the Truth Will Out Bill and Bylaw has been forced through in all the non-Magical Governments and non-magical schools across the globe after the second world war and it was forced through in Ilvermorny and the MACUSA as well as in Lescatie after Orion became King. Iacon and the other Arkeyan Kingdoms on my wife's home world have the Truth Will Out Bill in place as a permanent bill."
Hearing the speech that the newly minted members of staff gave to them and the faith they had in Yzma made it clear to the rest of the staff that they had to wake up, get a grip, step up to the plate and show some backbone in order to prevent the horrible future seen across the planet by those blocking Tana's powers from becoming a reality. The Faculty of Hogwarts also knew that Yuzu and Pele went to take care of some business but they knew that the chances of Yuzu and Pele surviving Kai's wrath were slim to none but they had faith that Yuzu and Pele would live to see another day.
What nobody knew was that the entire conversation had been watched and recorded and that the forces of Darkness heard every word of it and were preparing to make a big move to push the forces of light back even further to the brink of submission and undo the effects of Duncan, Kenny, and Margaret's speech once and for all.
