After the events in Orange Island the crew of four were quick to head to Syrup Village to look for Usopp. Over the few days it took to reach Syrup Village, training had been increased and even Zoro was questioning whether he had the capability of constantly running through these training drills. Nami had tried many times to take a break but before she could act on that thought Niki would appear behind her and use the bamboo stick of doom to make Nami refocus on the task at hand. This had happened several times over the few days it took to arrive at Syrup Village.

On a cliff overlooking the north side of the island, three kids and a boy who looked about 17 were more than a little intimidated when a massive ship with four people on the front deck, were heading to the island, why was simple. The flag that had a skull with white hair and rays of sunlight instead of crossbones was clearly visible indicating this was clearly a pirate ship. The teen boy ran off screaming about pirates. Annoyed, several villagers started shouting at the teen and a few people started throwing things at him. The teen tried telling them that it wasn't a lie but considering how many times he had told this same story, it was a futile attempt to get the villagers to save themselves. All he could do is run back to the cliff and await the village's doom.

Meanwhile the White Haired Pirates had just stepped onto the island.

" So this is where we should find Yasupp's son. You said his name is Usopp." Looking to the one who spoke Niki saw it was Nami. Niki nodded and answered" Yeah before Shanks and his crew left Yasupp suggested his son would be a good gunman for our crew." Everyone then heard a voice from atop a cliff yell." You, pirates will leave this island or I, the great captain Usopp will call upon my army of 80 million men who will crush you like the ants you are."

The crew blinked then blinked again before the three women broke out into a fit of giggles and even Zoro let out a snort of amusement. Niki using her flames blasted into the air and a moment later appeared in front of Usopp. She grabbed him and shortly reappeared back in front of her crew before dropping Usopp to the ground. Before anyone could say anything three children came running down the cliff screaming about letting their boss go.

Usopp scared out of his mind having seen Niki using flames quickly yelled." Carrot, Onion, Pepper stop these people are not to be messed with so stop yelling at them or the tallest lady will fry us with her fire magic." Niki let out a very unladylike snort of amusement before she summoned a ball of white fire and chucked it at a tree that was instantly incinerated and making the three kids pause then grow pale and ran off screaming about monsters. Niki turned and asked" We only came here for someone named Usopp. His father Yasupp recommended he join my crew." The teen being surrounded by the White Haired Pirates coughed then said nervously" Oh my name is Usopp. The great captain who controls armies and all that concerns the East Blue." The crew all had one thought." Great a liar." Usopp then asked" Wait you know my father?" Niki nodded before saying" Yeah my wife and I met him when we first came to East Blue." All Usopp could do was nod and finally said" Well let's go to the village and talk." Everyone followed Usopp to the village.

Walking the village the White Haired Pirates noticed everyone was looking at Niki and Yamato with more than a bit of fear in their eyes. Sighing Niki said loud enough to ensure the villagers heard her clearly." We won't harm anyone. We are only hear to meet Yasupp's son." Everyone gasp, they all knew who Yasupp was and who his son was. They all knew the reason why Usopp lied and would shout about pirates everyday. They just acted harshly because despite knowing Usopp was in pain, it was rather annoying having to deal with it so often.

Soon the group made it to a restaurant and soon everyone was eating and talking about various topics." So" began Usopp" You said my father told you about me. You also said you were a pirate, so I'm guessing you want me to join. Well I'll consider being your captain." Niki and her crew laughed before Niki said" Not happening, I am captain and Yamato-chan is my vice captain. Nami is my navigator and Zoro is my enforcer. We are aiming to be the best crew in the world and we each seek to accomplish our individual dreams. We train everyday and we do not take prisoners. We also acknowledge each other's station in the crew. If you join our crew if you are anything like your father you will be our sniper and gunman."

Usopp slumped in depression before he asked a question that caught them off guard." I will join you if my girlfriend can come." Seeing the look on their faces he hurried to say" She is training to be a doctor and has been training for years. She even managed to cure her parents who had been poisoned. Though they never found out who poisoned them. Her name is Kaya and she lives in the house on that hill over there." He pointed to a hill with a mansion atop it. It was a three story mansion that was clearly wider than it was tall. Niki looked at Yamato to get her opinion. Sure Niki was the captain but she always valued her wife's opinion. Yamato seeing the questioning look thought for a moment before she spoke." I think we should except the offer. We do not have a doctor and traveling to many islands will expose us to different kinds of sickness's and diseases. While You and I are immune from anything of the sort due to us being gods our crew is not. Also this Kaya can expand her medical capabilities by studying more than just things that are only from the East Blue." Niki nodded and accepted Usopp's offer" Very well Usopp take us there and tell her about this." Nodding they all left.

Arriving on the top of the hill that overlooked the entire island the White Haired Pirates saw a teenage girl about 17 years old standing at the gates of her family's mansion. Seeing the look Usopp was giving her it was obvious that this was Kaya. Usopp decided to introduce his girlfriend." Kaya-chan meet the White Haired Pirates. They agreed to take you as a crew mate since I asked. They know my father so they asked me to join their crew but I wouldn't leave without you." Kaya blushed at that but smiled none the less. Niki decided to introduce her crew after Usopp was done." Well first is our enforcer Roronoa Zoro. Then our navigator Nami. Finally my wife and vice captain Monkey D. Yamato and I'm the captain Monkey D. Niki."

Kaya nodded and asked" Its nice to meet you all but why exactly do you want us? I mean, don't get me wrong I appreciate the offer but there has to be more of an explanation than what Usopp-kun said." Nodding Niki gave her explanation about Yasupp and the recommendation. However before anyone could say anything else a man with slicked back hair and wearing glasses appeared, but something was weird. He would adjust his glasses with the palms of his hands, clearly a habit from not being able to use his fingers to push up his glasses. The man then spoke" All of you need to leave this is private property. Its already bad enough that we have the villages liar hanging around Lady Kaya." The man was cut off when Kaya yelled at him." Klahadore! Enough, you will not talk like that to our guests and especially my boyfriend. Go back inside and tend to the mansion if you're going to be rude." Klahadore was not pleased but reluctantly did as was told.

After Klahadore left Kaya was quick to apologize for her butler but was cut off by Niki who said." You need to keep an eye on Klahadore, I sensed very negative intent and it wasn't for us, it was projected towards you. Kaya you need to be very careful around him and warn your parents as well. The way he moves and his micro expressions tell me he was in a combat profession of some kind. The way he adjusts his glasses also leads me to believe he is quite accustomed to knives of some kind. I will do some research on him until we find anything, be careful." Kaya looked at Usopp before nodding and saying." Maybe I'll go stay with Usopp-kun until this is over. Now why don't we go to the beach and have some fun." Everyone nodded and soon they went to the same beach that the crew's ship was at.

Meanwhile Klahadore having seen the group leave, quickly made his way to the other side of the island where he was supposed to meet his vice captain Jango the Hypnotist. An old man who had a habit of hypnotizing himself. Anyways to Klahadore's relief Jango was on the beach opposite the teens meaning they wouldn't be overheard and risk his plans being foiled. He was among the strongest in the East Blue but something told him that underestimating the group of teens was a very bad idea. Klahadore decided begin the explanation of his plan." Jango I need you to take the crew up to this beach in a week, at dawn. That will give me time to take care of all my ties to the family. When the crew comes they can raid the island but leave the mansion on the hill to me. Also there are some people you should look out for, they could possibly pose a problem to the plan." Jango quirked an eyebrow at his captain, knowing his captain was among the most capable pirates in the East Blue. However his captain was speaking as if he was scared of these people. Deciding to voice his opinion Jango asked" Sir, if these people really are worth worrying about. Shouldn't we get rid of them before the plan is set in motion. Perhaps strike at midnight when they are asleep. I could investigate where they are staying and we can make plans afterwards." Klahadore thought for a moment and after a few scenarios ran through his head he nodded and said." Very well. They are on the other side of the island." So after everything was finished the two made there way to complete their tasks.

After a few hours of swimming and playing, Niki brought Usopp and Kaya onto the ship and showed them around explaining where everything was. Usopp, the tinkerer he was took a keen interest in the laboratory. He was already planning to upgrade his pistols and rifle though he did need to show his skills to the crew soon. Kaya on the other hand took notice of the library more specifically the medical section of the library. She quickly learned that the world of all things medical was very large and suddenly she was very grateful to her boyfriend for convincing this crew to take her along. With all this medical knowledge her skills would grow astronomically.

The two were broken out of their thoughts when Yamato asked them if they would be interested in joining everyone for dinner. They nodded in gratitude and soon a nice dinner of Tuscan Butter Shrimp was placed in front of everyone. Niki smiled seeing the looks on Usopp's and Kaya's faces. It was as if they had never had something like this. Soon though dinner was over and everyone was sitting in the living room. Then Usopp noticed the bounties on Niki and Yamato and paled knowing the highest bounty in the East Blue was only 20 million Beri. So he asked in a rather shaky voice" How do you two have bounties that high?" Yamato looked over and saw what Usopp was looking at and could only laugh. She then started her explanation" Niki-chan and I got our first bounty seven years ago before we even made it to the East Blue. I was nineteen and Niki-chan was ten years old the day we got our bounty. We had killed several squads of guards that protect the Holy Land of Mariejois. You see they had a bunch of slaves and someone we met while we were flying from the land of Wano was trying to save his crew that had been captured and enslaved by the Celestial Dragons. So we acted as a distraction for him. I killed the guards that were patrolling the city and Niki-chan took out the guards in the watchtowers spread throughout the city. After we knew they had managed to escape the city, Niki-chan set the towers on fire. That's probably why her bounty is higher than mine. We will keep all of our bounty posters as a way to mark our progress." Niki then added" Though I'm a little irritated that my bounty hasn't been updated in seven years. I am not ten years old anymore. Seriously by not updating the posters, they are basically saying I'm still a child. Though I did have fun causing chaos for the arrogant bastards. Anyways when you all get your first bounties we will do the same for you. After all proof of an adventure is always a must."

Yamato then asked" Do you two want to stay here for the night? Our ship is the safest place in the East Blue so if that butler does try anything he will fail before he even gets on board the ship. Speaking of the butler, Niki-chan found an old bounty poster that might show you who you are really dealing with." Niki walked up and placed a bounty poster on the coffee table and both Usopp and Kaya gasped at what they saw.

Looking at the picture on the poster the two instantly knew the man known as Klahadore was really Kuro. Kaya began to panic and exclaimed" I have to go, he is with my parents right now. He could hurt them." Niki was quick to calmly explain" First, he doesn't know you know, so it's not going to make him act hastily. Also he has been with your family for years so it's clear he is patiently waiting for something. Second, if you go running up there in a panic it might make him speed up his plans. Tell you what why don't we go around the island and see what information we can find. We will take the ship underwater and scout out the surrounding waters then move inland to continue our investigation. We will deal with anything that comes up as soon as it comes up." Receiving nods from everyone, Niki took the ship underwater and soon spotted a fairly large ship with a few dozen men partying about something. They then spotted a man who Niki could identify as Jango the hypnotist. What they didn't expect to see was Kuro there and not with Kaya's family. It was currently night time so they would wait and observe until dawn. Then everyone would die.

So for the next several hours the White Haired Pirates plus Usopp and Kaya watched Kuro go back to the mansion and saw as Jango seemed to search for them but since he couldn't sense them he would never be able to find them. There was a moment of tension when another butler named Merry was injured quite badly but he managed to survive thanks to quick intervention from Kaya who quickly cleaned and dressed his wounds. When she caught up a few hours later the Black Cat Pirates were landing on the shore and ready to charge up the slope to begin their invasion of Syrup Village. Niki then gave out orders." Usopp use your rifle to take out as many as you can then use your pistols to keep Kaya safe. Kaya is a medic and not trained in combat so she needs to be protected. Zoro you'll take on the Meowban Brothers, Sham and Buchi. Nami use your staff and take out the crew that remains. Yamato-chan I leave Jango to you and finally I'll take on Kuro when he gets here."

Everyone hearing their orders set to work. Usopp quickly pulled the rifle off his back. He said it was an AR-15 and it could hold 30 bullets, so in less than a minute he had fired 30 times and 30 men died. Meaning each bullet Usopp fired was a kill. He then backed up and posted himself beside Kaya and proceeded to pull out two 10 round revolvers. It became obvious very quickly that Usopp was possibly even better than his father with a gun. Now it was Nami's turn to fight.

As Nami stepped up she was quick to take a stance that was built for countering the opponent. Not like the Black Cat Pirates knew this. If they did they wouldn't have so foolishly charged at her. Nami was quick to duck under a sword swipe and counter by jabbing her staff into a man's ribs hard enough to make the rib puncture a lung. The man would be dead in a few minutes if he is not treated. Though there have been people who survived a punctured lung, this man would not be so lucky. Nami then pivoted out of a dual sword slash and pulled an axe wielding man into the dual swords killing him. That made the battle pause briefly. Several people were startled at the loss by a crew mate. Suddenly they were thinking maybe charging in mass wasn't a good idea, after all it's not good to kill each other trying to kill the enemy. Suddenly Nami pierced a man's heart which seemed to jumpstart the battle once again. It took a few minutes but eventually everyone was dead and once again, Nami was surrounded by dead bodies. Now Zoro stepped up and drew his Wado Ichimonji and after placing it in his mouth he drew his other two swords who were nameless. While Sham and Buchi stepped up and prepared to use their teamwork to overwhelm Zoro.

Zoro seeing their tactic quickly changed stances from one that maximized defensive efficiency to one that maximized offensive effectiveness. See he couldn't allow them to gang up on him and push him back. Sure he had been training with Yamato and been being educated by Niki but there was only so much growth possible in the short amount of time since he joined the crew. Using the sword in his left hand he parried a slash from Sham while using his sword in his right hand to block Buchi. He then twisted his neck to slash at the brothers who did manage to dodge a fatal blow however they were cut across the chest. Seeing they were in a bad position they tried to put Zoro on the defensive but every attempt failed and only led to them being cut up more. Zoro then used the moment of pause to charge at Sham and cut him down with a slash to his neck. Buchi seeing his brother get cut down, flew into an enraged frenzy slashing wildly at Zoro but this would only lead to his death. Zoro began to twirl his blades around before announcing his move" Oni Giri" with that he vanished in a burst of speed and reappeared behind Buchi. At first nothing appeared to have happened but when Zoro finally sheathed his swords Buchi was dissected into three.

At this point Jango was realizing why his captain was scared. These kids were monsters. Sure he knew his crew wasn't the strongest but he thought they could handle kids with ease. He was brought out of his thoughts when Yamato stepped in front of him. However Yamato wouldn't give him the chance to use his hypnotist skills. She simply disappeared after drawing her sword and reappeared with Jango's head in her hand. She had no patience for someone so weak. Though admittedly there was only a few who could give her a good fight. Sighing she asked." Zoro and Nami help me pile up the bodies so Niki-chan can burn them. Then we will raid his ship." Zoro and Nami were quick to do as told. As soon as the bodies were piled together Niki tossed a white ball of fire the made short work of the bodies. The three then raided the Black Cat's ship and sadly there was next to no treasure or even Beri. How they were still sailing when their funds were nonexistent was baffling.

Meanwhile Kuro was beyond pissed. He had tried to kill the family only to find out Kaya had stayed with Usopp. He then tried to kill the parents but was interrupted by Merry who gave them enough time to barricade themselves inside their room. So he tried to cut down Merry but failed at that when Kaya had managed to save Merry from his wounds. Now he had come to the slope where his crew was supposed to be charging the island only to see his crew and his ship being burned to ash by the tallest teen. He then was brought out of his thoughts when the very one he was just thinking about spoke." Well it's about time you show up Kuro." This startled Kuro, because he had did his best to ensure no one knew his true identity. The teenager then continued to speak" I am taking Kaya and Usopp with me but I need to deal with the threat to their island. Meaning today Kuro of a Thousand Plans will truly die. I know about your faked death. Honestly it irritates me to no end that you think yourself a pirate. No self respecting pirate would give up their name. Now at least fight for your survival since it's clear you care about nothing else."

Kuro growled before he slipped on his gloves that had a blade on each finger. Suddenly everyone now realized why he adjusted his glasses like he does. Kuro seemed to disappear to any untrained eye but was launched back when a fist buried itself into his gut causing him to cough up blood. He tried again only to receive a knee to his chin. Growing even more annoyed he began to sway and vanished faster than before but still was blown back when Niki raised her arm and clotheslined him with such force that when his body tried to go forward his head simply popped off and flew backwards. It was a rather gruesome sight that Kaya's parents and a bandaged Merry came across. Seeing their former butler in such a way made them sad but it didn't last long when they remembered that he had tried to kill them.

Kaya walked up to her parents and began to speak" Mother, father I am going to go with these people. I will learn all this world has to offer when it comes to medicine and anything else that concerns the medical field. By going with them I can sail the world and learn about other islands and their medical practices. I want to be the best doctor in the world." Niki then walked up to the others and said" We should restock our kitchen. We might be out at sea for a while. We need to find a cook and I hear there is a sea restaurant on the other side of the East Blue. Also Kaya, you and Usopp will need to prepare yourselves. We will begin your training as soon as we leave. You may be a medic but I will not allow any vulnerabilities to remain. We are pirates and pirates often find themselves in battle. So we train. You two have a lot to catch up on." Niki then hopped onto her ship and disappeared below deck. Kaya smiled at her parents and after an hour the White Haired Pirates left the island and were on their way to the sea restaurant. Little did they know they would have an interesting encounter before they even got halfway to their destination.
