Good afternoon,
So apparently, I did not realize I did not change the name on the Character info from Helena to Hermia when I was redoing the story. A clear mistake but a guest decided to respond to this and delete it afterword. Unfortunately for this guest it sends a message the minute it's posted to the writer. This is their post:
Story: A Midsummer Night's Dream
Chapter: 1. Character Info
From: Guest
:Pray, forbear, thou impudent wretch! Dost thou not apprehend even the most basic tenets of the great Shakespearean canon? Thou art woefully ill-informed, forsooth, in that the daughter of Egeus in A Midsummer Night's Dream is known as Hermia, not the unfortunate Helena. Thou art but a witless cur, who doth pen lackluster narratives fashioned solely after the shallow musings of common fans, replete with trite and wearisome tropes, such as the character who doth declare herself to be "unlike other girls". Verily, thy mind lacketh the ingenuity and creativity to forge a tale of true originality and depth.
This is the message from the guest, and they feel it's ok to call me several insulting names in Shakespearean. My question is to this person is do you feel better doing this? really?
This site is to imagine a different ending or change something in a story that you like to watch/read. It's for FUN. If you don't like the story or disagree with something quit reading. It's that simple.
Your words don't upset me and will not keep me from writing. My co-workers and I actually laughed as I read what you wrote to them. I hope it helped you to vent anger for a simple mistake that did not happen in the true story that I posted. You are a keyboard warrior and I respect that you feel like you have the right to this. My right is to tell you to grow up and quit acting like you are some Shakespearean dictator.
Good luck with your life as a keyboard warrior because I know I will not think of you after this post.
