Chapter 2: Bedtime Stories. (Special thanks to Jokermask18 for the idea!)
Rex and Shayera had arrived back home and were currently playing video games.
"Oh, oh, almost got you." Rex said as his character in a fighting game had Shayera's on the ropes.
"No, you don't." Shayera said as she used her special move and her character slammed Rex's to the ground, winning the match.
"Woo! I win!" Shayera said as she walked around, clapping her hands over her head as Rex gave a fake annoyed look.
"One more game." Rex said before Shayera walked over and turned off the system.
"Tomorrow. It's time for you to go to bed." Shayera said as she picked him up and took him to his bedroom.
As she sat him on his bed, Rex asked, "Will you tell me a story, Mom? About your time in the Justice League?"
"Okay." Shayera said before she started.

When it came to the Justice League, I was at the top of my game. So much so, I often found myself challenged by the other girls in the League.
Hawkgirl was eating in the cafeteria of the Watchtower and took a sip of her soda, only to let out a loud burp afterward. She covered her mouth.
"Excuse me." she said.
Black Canary then walked over with a smirk on her face.
"You call that a burp, Hawkgirl? Let a pro show you how it's done." Black Canary said. She took a sip of soda and let out a long and loud burp.
"It's on." Hawkgirl said before she took another sip of soda and let out a short but loud burp. Black Canary fought back with a long but quiet burp. Hawkgirl then burped long and loud. The burp contest went on until Black Canary tried to use her powers to gain an edge. This ended up nearly knocking Hawkgirl down. Hawkgirl took a big sip of her soda and braced herself. She then let out a burp so loud and so long, it ended up blowing Black Canary's hair back before she eventually fell down. The other heroes who were watching applauded.
I was one of the top burping contest winners in the cafeteria. But that wasn't my only strength.
Hawkgirl, Wonder Woman, and Supergirl were in the training room lifting weights. After some time, they set down their weights and took a break.
Supergirl then flexed her muscles, "Yeah! Check me out!" she said.
Wonder Woman smirked, "Not bad, but can you compare with these?" she asked as she flexed bigger muscles.
Hawkgirl rolled her eyes, "I've got you girls beat." she said as she flexed bigger muscles than both of them.
Wonder Woman and Supergirl looked surprised before Wonder Woman said, "All right, Shayera, let's see if they measure up." as she placed her arm on a nearby table in an arm wrestling position.
"Count me in." Supergirl said as she did the same.
"Okay." Shayera said as she arm-wrestled them both at the same time. Wonder Woman and Supergirl struggled to move her arms down and came close before Shayera forced both their arms down.
"YEAH!" she yelled.
I was also very strong when it came to physical strength. As for when it came to villains…
Hawkgirl flew through the skies before diving down and flying after some crooks who ran away in fear.
Bad guys ran away from me like a bunch of chickens and they always whimpered in fear when I would catch them. I always enjoyed giving crooks a little scare.
Hawkgirl then caught the crooks and flew up high, scaring the crooks enough to drop what they had stolen and surrender.
But those kinds of crooks were nothing compared to the kinds of supervillains we had to face. Not to say that they weren't scared of me, though.
Darkseid stood over the defeated Justice League with a smirk, fixing to charge his Omega Beams, only to notice one was missing. He looked to the sky and to his horror, saw Hawkgirl flying in. She gave him a strong punch, canceling his Omega Beams and knocking him out.

"And that's pretty much how my time in the Justice League was." Shayera said.
"Wow, awesome! I can't wait to fight alongside you, Mom!" Rex said.
"Aw, thanks, Rex." Shayera said before she gave him a goodnight hug and tucked him into bed.
"Good night, my little hero." Shayera said.
"Good night, Mom." Rex said.
Shayera then walked out of Rex's room before closing the door. Her communicator started beeping, informing her of an emergency. She smirked before she rushed off to join the action.
Meanwhile, Rex had fallen asleep and was dreaming big right now.

Warkhawk flew through the sky before landing beside Hawkgirl.
"Ready for action, Warhawk?" Hawkgirl asked.
"Yeah!" Warhawk said as the two of them flew together and beat up bad guys left and right. At one point they landed and stood back-to-back as they beat up bad guys.
"Nothing like fighting crime with my mom/son!" they said.
