Last Time on Autobot Defense Unit: Later, Primal Hiroto took his Mech out to make sure it still worked and it worked well. John smiled when Drift looked and said, "It's amazing that in another world you use Mechs based on animals." John nodded his head as he saw Primal Hiroto begin working on his mech. Meanwhile, with the Decepticons, the beast Shockwave made was laying down as Starscream looked at it and asked Shockwave, "Tell me shockwave, why did you name your pet project Project: Predacon?" Shockwave looked and said, "Simple Starscream, your Predacon Ranks are low, so I was just making more for our ranks." Starscream nodded and walked out of the chambers as Shockwave resumed working on Project: Predacon
Present: A Decepticon drone was walking along a pathway near an energon field when he got jumped by Cheetor (Primal Hiroto) and taken out. Cheetor then said, "This is Cheetor, Perimeter guard taken out, commence Phase 2." and John came to say, "Copy Cheetor, we're moving in." in his drone, OPtimus led the others into charging and smashed through Cons. Transforming, Optimus shouted, "Torch Bearers! Technobots, Dinobots! Rail Team! Combiner modes go!" The four combiner teams said, "RIGHT!" and combined into Victorion, Computron, Volcanicus, and Rail Racer.
Soon Dreadwing arrived and was quickly taken by Silverbolt and the Aerialbots. That was when Megaton landed and punched Prime in his face. Throwing the Decepticon over him and into a wall. The two leaders duked it out as the battle raged around them. Optimus punched the Decepticon leader in his faceplate again and kicked him off. Megatron then called for a retreat, ending the battle with an Autobot Victory. Optimus called for a ground Bridge and gave the living Autobots the Energon. That was when the alarm went off and a soldier ran into the hangar. He said that there was a signal coming from deep space.
"Teletraan-one! Use the signal's Trajectory to determine where it came from." John said to the giant computer. After a few calculations, Teletraan-one said, "Calculations complete. Trajectory shows that the signal launched from Cybertron." The Bots gasped as John said, "Cybertron? Interesting." Teletraan-one then showed them all what the signal was coming from. When Silverbolt saw the source of the signal, he laughed and said, "BY THE ALLSPARK! IT'S HIM!" John and the other humans looked at him and John asked, "Who is it, Silverbolt?" Silverbolt smiled and said, "That my good commander, is one of our biggest, and possibly our most powerful Autobot. That is Omega Supreme."
Later, John was in his drone standing next to Silverbolt as they waited for the big Autobot to arrive, and he arrived in style. Landing feet first, Optimus had to lean backwards at the sheer size of the new arrival. Silverbolt laughed and said, "Good to see you here Omega!" Omega looked down and said, "Omega, glad to be here. Question, who is he?" pointing to Optimus. Silverbolt then said, "This is Optimus Prime, he is the new leader of the Autobots after Orion Prime's death. He is a human piloting a drone, along with other humans." Omega knelt and picked up Optimus before saying, "Omega, reporting. Ready for battle." Optimus smiled and said, "Good to have you here Omega, I hope you will follow my orders well. I've had problems with living Autobots not wanting to follow my orders." Omega Supreme nodded his head when an alarm went off again. Terasaka came out and said that the Constructicons were attacking.
"CONSTRUCTICONS?! HERE?! WILL DESTROY!" was all Omega said before launching back into the air. Optimus fell into Silverbolt and shouted, "OMEGA STOP!" But Omega Supreme didn't listen. Optimus looked at Silverbolt and asked, "History?" Silverbolt nodded his head and said, "Yeah, bad history." Optimus nodded his head and said, "Very well, Autobots. Let's roll out to support Omega Supreme!"
With the Constructicons, they were making Energon Cubes when Omega came into view. Scrapper shouted, "AUTOBOT ATTACK! IT'S OMEGA!" The other Constructicons looked as Omega Supreme landed and shouted, "OMEGA SUPREME! MISSION! EXTERMINATION!" The Constructicons were then fired upon and forced back right as Optimus and the others got through the Space Bridge. Omega walked forward as the Constructicons opened fire at him. Omega became reckless with rage and shot the Energon Cubes, causing a massive explosion that Optimus and the others saw.
"Holy Cow Optimus, was that?" Asked Sideswipe. Optimus simply said, "Switch gears Autobots! Let's check the damage! Prowl, Red Alert, keep civilians away from the site, Inferno, Protectobots. Put out any fires you see. The rest of us will assist Omega in dealing with the Decepticons." The Autobots acknowledged Prime's commands and went to work. At the battlefield, Omega walked forward as the Constructicons were recovering. Scrapper then said, "Constructicons! Unite to form, Devastator!" and the Constructicons combined as Starscream flew in with other fliers but were engaged by the Aerialbots and Windblade.
"Constructicons! Our leader has ordered you back to base!" Said Starscream before Omega smashed his claw into the jet. But Devastator fought Omega as the Autobots arrived. Devastator then realized it was time to go and the Decepticons fled. Omega was going to give chase, but Silverbolt transformed and floated in front of him as he said, "No Omega! You're in enough trouble, don't make any more for yourself." Omega looked down and saw Optimus transformed and looking at him. The Big Autobot then said, "Very well Silverbolt."
Later, Optimus, out of his drone, was on Omega's shoulder as they looked at the horizon. John said to Omega, "Omega, what you did earlier today was reckless. But I assume you have good reason to hate the Constructicons." Omega nodded his head and said, "It was many years ago, on Cybertron. I was a protector of a great city made entirely out of Crystal, the Crystal City." John nodded his head and said, "Continue." Omega then said that the Constructicons made the Crystal City and were friends with him. He then said, "Megatron used a machine to make them obedient to him, they tried the same with me… they failed. I now feel hatred for the Constructicons."
"But Omega, it's not their fault. It was Megatron. He changed them, so in a way it's his fault." John said to Omega, who said nothing as he looked on at the horizon. John sighed as he climbed down from Omega. Toka and nagisa walked up to him and toka asked, "Any luck?" John shook his head and told them what Omega told him. Then Nagisa said, "If I was Omega and that happened to me, I can understand why he'd want revenge." John nodded his head before walking up to Wheeljack and Ratchet with Toka and Nagisa. John asked the two Autobots, "Is it possible we can undo what Megatron did to the Constructicons?"
"I mean it is possible, but we would need their original schematics to see what Megatron changed. And to do that… we'd need to go to Cybertron." Wheeljack said to the three humans. John looked at the Ark then at Omega Supreme. Toka knew what he was thinking and said, "No, we are not going to cybertron. Earth needs us John." John then said, "How can we stand by and fight Cybertronians that Megatron forced into following him? We say that freedom is the right of all sentient beings but the Constructicons have no freedom. No toka, I will not rest until the Constructicons are free of Megatron's control." Toka and Nagisa were happy that John wanted to help the Constructicons. That was when Karasuma walked up to them and overheard their conversation.
"If you want to take a team to Cybertron to get their original Schematics, then you can." Karasuma said to them. John smiled, looked at Wheeljack and said, "Get me the Aerialbots, Protectobots, Yuma, Meg, Drift, Jetfire, Impactor, and Mirage." Wheeljack nodded his head and contacted the team members that John said. Toka then looked at John and said, "I'm going too, and don't try to talk me out of it." John smiled and said, "Like I would ever." When Nagisa said he was going too, John told him, "Sorry Nagisa, I need you here with Karma and the others. Next time I promise you, you can come mate." Nagisa nodded his head and said, "Ok, take care John." John nodded his head.
Later, outside the base, John in his drone walked up to the team of bots that he picked to go with him. Optimus then said, "Listen up, we have a priority mission on our hands. I picked you cause you all have done amazing work. Our mission, we're going to Cybertron to get the original Schematics for the Constructicons." The bots were shocked and confused. But Omega said, "Constructicons, evil. No redemption." Optimus looked at him and said, "I know you say that Omega, but if there is a chance to free them from Megatron's control, then we have to take that chance." Omega said nothing as he changed into his spaceship mode. Optimus then said, "Ironhide and the others will hold down the fort while we complete our mission."
The team nodded their heads and all walked onto Omega Supreme. After a while, Omega Supreme took off for Cybertron. Karma and Nagisa watched when Karasuma looked on and knew that they would need help. So walking into his office, he placed a call. When a person on the other end picked up, Karasuma said, "It's me, time to bring out Metroplex." when the person on the other end asked if he was sure, Karasuma said, "I am." The person on the other end nodded his head and said, "It will be powered up shortly." Karasuma acknowledged that and hung the phone up.
Back in space, Omega Supreme was flying towards Cybertron and Inferno was in awe. Optimus was in awe too as Elita-one sat with him and said, "Amazing." Optimus nodded his head when Omega said, "Cybertron, closing in." Optimus smiled and said, "very well Omega, continue on course." Soon they could see the home of the Cybertronians, Cybertron. Silverbolt smiled softly and said, "there she is, our home. I wish you didn't have to see her like this." Optimus patted Silverbolt's back and said, "I know Silverbolt, but we will restore her when it is time."
Silverbolt nodded as Omega landed on the surface. Optimus walked out and looked around and said, "It seems we can breathe while we are in our drones." Then Inferno said, "Not to Mention that this is the Furthest we've been from our bodies." Optimus looked at him and said, "Indeed, now. We need to find out where the Constructicons were first made so we can…" he then groaned as he knelt and got a vision of a time he was on a big boat. He walked on deck when a bright light covered the whole ship and began to pull him and the whole ship up. Soon he was running down a large metallic hallway when he tripped and looked at a giant robot. Soon the vision ended and Optimus saw Elita-One looking into his eyes.
"Optimus, are you okay?!" Elita-one asked him. Optimus stood up and said, "I am… functional." Optimus then said, "Let's go." He then transformed, along with the others, and told Omega Supreme, "We'll be back after getting the schematics, wait here Omega." Omega acknowledged him as they all rolled out. As they rolled, Elita-one said, "It's like a ghost town here." Silverbolt contacted her and said, "Well it was more beautiful before the war. That changed everything." Optimus was listening in as they got closer to where the Crystal City was according to Omega Supreme.
Arriving at where the Crystal City was, Optimus then felt a pull in a direction, and the others followed him. Inferno asked Optimus what was happening, Optimus said, "I feel a pull coming from this way. Stay Vigilant everyone." The team acknowledged Prime's order as they drove along the road. Arriving at a wall, Optimus transformed and walked forward as the others transformed too and put a hand on the wall. Suddenly a doorway opened and an invisible force pulled on the drones. Inferno said, "I got that feeling too prime." Firestar agreed and they walked in. The Aerialbots stayed outside as the others followed Prime and the others in.
Walking along the hallway, Prime was getting a sense of Deja vu from the hallway when a door opened and out came a bot. Optimus quickly panicked as it was the bot from the vision. The Bot smiled and said, "Hello Optimus Prime, come in come in." Optimus and the other drones were shocked but walked into the room. The Cybertronian introduced himself as Alpha Trion and showed them the room as he said that he was expecting them.
"You were expecting us? How come? More Importantly…" said John before Alpha Trion raised his hand and said, "There will be time for questions later. I assume you are here for the schematics for the Constructicons." Inferno was hesitant as he said, "Yes, how did you know?" Alpha Trion said, "I am part Telepath so I have read your minds." That was when OPtimus said, "So that's how you know my name as Optimus Prime." Alpha nodded his head and said, "Indeed, as I know you use the body of Orion Prime for your drone. It is a shame he died. Orion Prime was a good leader. He was my Protege."
Optimus nodded his head and saw a door on the opposite side and asked, "What's down there?" Alpha said that it was just an empty room as he prepared the schematics for the Constructicons. Optimus signaled to Mirage to check out the room on the other side, he nodded and cloaked. Sneaking by, Mirage was able to quietly open the door and look in and took a good long view at what he saw before poking his head back in. After getting back to where he was, He decloaked before Alpha Trion pulled out the disk and handed it to Optimus.
"Here you go Optimus, The schematics for the Constructicons. Use them however you see fit." ALpha said to Prime as he took the disk. Prime nodded his head and they all left to go back to Omega Supreme. Along the way, Optimus asked Mirage what he saw, Mirage told him, "I Think it's better if I showed all of you it." Optimus was now worried but let it go. Arriving back at Omega Supreme, Optimus was shot in the back by a Decepticon who was immediately gunned down by the Autobots. Optimus groaned and said, "time to go." as they loaded up in Omega and he took off, heading back to earth.
Alpha Trion smiled and walked back to his workshop and sat down, he didn't tell them but his spark was fading and soon, it was extinguished. Optimus felt it, as did Inferno, Firestar, and Elita. Silverbolt asked Optimus what was the matter and he said, "I… think Alpha trion has passed." Silverbolt and the other Cybertronians were shocked to hear that. Later, Optimus and Elita-one saw Earth and she said, "It's good to be back home." Optimus nodded his head and said, "It sure is. I hope the others handled things well while we were gone." Elita nodded her head and took Optimus's hand
When Omega landed, Optimus walked out as Wheeljack ran up to him and said, "your vitals showed you took a hit, let's get you looked at." Optimus walked to his charging bed and laid down to allow Wheeljack to look at the drone while John walked up to Mirage. John then said, "ok Mirage, show us what you saw." After a few minutes of getting set up, Mirage had all the drone operators, researchers, and agents gathered. He plugged his memory core in and showed them what he saw. After seeing John signal to him to check the door, Mirage walked to was able to quietly open the door and look in and took a good long view at was in the room. The humans were all shocked and in complete confusion, John, Karma, and Nagisa most of all.
"How… HOW?!" John asked as he shouted. On the screen was a ship, a human ship. And a Human plane. The three then shouted, "HOW IS THE SHIP FROM MY VISION ON CYBERTRON?! Wait what?" John looked at Karma and Nagisa and asked. "You two have seen this ship too?" Nagisa and Karma nodded their heads as Kotaro got a closer look before saying, "Incredible… John, Karma, Nagisa. That isn't a normal ship… that's the Long Lost Ship U.S.S. Cyclops." John had to do a double take as he got to the console and zoomed in on the name of the ship. After the image buffed out, they saw the name clear as day, and John said, "The U.S.S. Cyclops… how… HOW?! HOW IS A SHIP MISSING SINCE 1918 END UP ON CYBERTRON?!"
"Um Meg… What's the U.S.S. Cyclops?" Silverbolt asked Meg. Meg looked at him and said, "the U.S.S. Cyclops was a ship that was used in our world's first great war. It's like your war for Cybertron, but on earth there were more than two groups. But it boiled down to two sides, the Central powers; consisting of Germany, the Ottoman Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and Bulgaria from 1915. Then we have the allies; consisting of France, the British Empire which was huge at the time, Russia, Serbia, Belgium, Japan, Montenegro, Italy from 1915, United States from 1917, Romania from 1916, Portugal from 1916, Hejaz from 1916, Greece from 1917, Siam from 1917, and the Republic of China from 1917. The nations I mentioned from then a year after joined the war in that year. It was a costly war, 40 million military and Civilian Casualties combined. It was supposed to be the war to end all wars… like that happened. Anyway the Cyclops was a ship used by the United States during that war, and went missing near the Bermuda Triangle."
"Which is completely false. The Bermuda Triangle is a myth, nothing more." John said as he looked at the screen. Then nagisa said, "What I wanna know, and you and Karma wanna know too, is why the ship on Cybertron." Then karma said, "To top it all off, why were we all on that ship in visions." Ryu took the remote and rewound a bit before stopping at the plane and was shocked. Rinka looked at Ryu and asked, "You ok?" Ryu looked at her and said, "I'm now as angry as John, Karma, and Nagisa. That plane, that's the plane you girls went missing on! Muramatsu, Sugaya, Terasaka, and Itona were shocked too as they recognized the plane. John looked at Ryu and said, "Didn't you say that they went missing over the…"
"The Bermuda Triangle, yeah, yeah we did. Which means that somehow, Earth and Cybertron are connected through the Bermuda Triangle." Ryu said as he looked at the plane on screen. But John said, "NO! IT CAN'T BE TRUE! THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE IS NOTHING BUT A MYTH! We have just not found any wreckage yet!" That was when Teletrann-one said, "Correction, based on data from Mirage and local tales about Bermuda Triangle, it is determined that there is Cybertronian tech in the area of the Bermuda Triangle." John was a firm believer that the Bermuda Triangle was a myth, but if there was Cybertronian tech there, he had to investigate it.
"We need some bots with ship forms." John said to the team. That was when Silverbolt said, "There's this autobot that can scan a ship form. Not to mention he's a triple changer like Sandstorm." Sandstorm looked at Silverbolt and said, "Only problem is that I've lost contact with him for cycles. And he scanned a ship for his one mode too." John asked what bot were they talking about and Silverbolt said, "Broadside, he's one of our best." Then Sandstorm said, "yeah, but I haven't seen him since 40 cycles ago. But I'll never forget that number on his ship alt mode, 38."
"That was the number of the Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. Shangri-La…" John said before typing into Teletrann and a ship appeared that was a floating Museum. John said, "The U.S.S. Shangri-La was turned into a floating Museum not long ago. I visited before I was pulled into this group. And check this." turning the camera to the side, they saw a painted over Autobot symbol. Silverbolt said, "That has to be him, that has to be Broadside!" John nodded his head and said, "Unfortunately we can't particularly reactivate him…"
"Says who?" Asked Silverbolt. Karasuma looked at him and said, "The United States Government won't let us take a ship that was converted into a museum." But Silverbolt said, "But that's Broadside there!" John looked at Silverbolt and said, "I know Silverbolt. But we need permission from the US to take him. I know you want to get him, but we need to be patient with things. Once we get permission, we will get him." Silverbolt sighed and agreed to wait. John smiled and said, "I know you want him to be free, Silverbolt, but we must wait for government approval." Silverbolt groaned and walked off. Hot Spot walked after him to help him calm down. John sighed as he knew Silverbolt would try and do something and asked the other Aerialbots to make sure he didn't do anything stupid.
