Back in free city, Lucy and fluttershy were thrown hard into a wooden crate before it was sealed shut. There were only 2 holes for air and to see out of.
"What're you gonna do to me?" Lucy asked
"Us? Nothing. We intend to sell you to the wolfenstein nazis you filthy Jewish princess"
"I'm not Jewish" said Lucy annoyed
"Not according to your code bio. That's besides the point. They're simply going to throw you both off a tall building and use what's left of you in experiments, ain't that neat?"
"Why're you doing this? What did I-
"You're a terrible leader that's why. You really thought we'd make you our queen? Pathetic. The day you and your family didn't kick out the transformers for what they did, it sickened us. We thought the empire was good til they made that peace treaty with you and ended the war, and all attempts at enslaving them. But thanks to you, our army is strong enough to destroy the transformers and your city for its betrayal. The anti transformer league will finally be victorious"
"Anti transformer league? That's what all this is about?" Lucy asked
"Aren't you the smart one. Now shut up and sit down"
"It's cold in here, and you didn't let me put on-
"I SAID SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP!"
"We have a problem, litwak city is sending an invasion force"
"Alert the president, we cannot allow him to be captured. Put all forces on high alert and prepare the dragons. Hide this crate somewhere dark. When we win, these 2 will die"
With the invasion force, Quaritch and Vanellope were doing final preparations to their amp suits.
"30 mm autocannon, fires high explosive rounds, up to 250 a minute. You got some serious firepower on this thing. Should come in handy against those imperial walkers and ties the city stole. Now your majesty, it's a big city, we don't know how long it'll take to find Lucy" said Quaritch
"Way ahead of you. During queen bees recon mission I had her sneak a tracking device onto Lucy's jacket. My computer says she's in a building somewhere on the edge of town" said Vanellope
"Smart thinking. Get that cable secured, we're approaching drop zone" said Quaritch
The droid ship lowered close enough to the ground to allow the amp suits to rappel down to the ground, while other helicopters released troops on the ground as support.
"All call signs, papa has lead, push to target. Droid forces will disembark when we secure the perimeter of the city. Gun crews and aircraft keep your head on the swivel. They know we're coming and they're out there waiting" said Quaritch
He and Vanellope looked towards the city,
"Hang on Lucy, mommy's coming" said Vanellope
"Target in sight, range is 4 klicks" said Rancis
"Droid forces on standby" said Ralph
"Colonel, picking up enemy forces"
In the distance, all the dragons were taking off from the city and approaching the attack force with swarms of repainted tie fighters. The dragons dropped stolen imperial walkers onto the field.
"All aircraft weapons free weapons free. Break formation and engage all hostiles. Ground forces let's move out" said Quaritch
Up in the air, both forces fired missiles at each other. The air was filled with explosions. To combat the ties, Kevin and Ralph allowed all the droid fighters to launch.
"Deploying droid fighters. Hangar crew, defend the hangar. We need this ship to make it to the city to deploy the rest of the troops" said Kevin over a radio
On the ground, the amp suits rushed the walkers. The scout walkers were quickly destroyed by the suit cannons, but the stolen AT-ATs were causing damage and didn't go down as easily.
"Scorpions, we need cover fire on these at-at's" Quaritch shouted
"Not to worry, I know their sweet spot" said Vanellope
She rushed for one of the walkers, avoiding the heavy fire from its laser machine guns, and stood to the side. Vanellope aimed her cannon at the neck and fired. With a few well placed shots, the walker was destroyed.
"Too easy" said Vanellope as she continued towards the city
Up in the air, Rancis flew around in his gunship, taking on a dragon. Unfortunately the dragon was too well armored and defended, and worse it was attacking the droid ship.
"Kevin, Ralph, the ship is under fire. Launch the droid gunships to vanellopes position" said Rancis
"But dad-
"Don't but dad me now, son. I order you to launch the droid gunships" said Rancis "droid freighter, why aren't those proton cannons firing?"
"We can't get a clear shot, you're majesty. You're in the line of fire"
"All forces, make room away from the dragons, watch my daughters guns rip the dragons apart" said Rancis
The other ships complied and flew higher. The cannons peeled out of the gun bays and opened fire on the dragons, taking them out with several shots, til there was only one left which flew away.
"Scorpions, purse and destroy. Samsons, get more troops on the ground" said Rancis
With Vanellope, she was making her way into the city, slashing at soldiers with her suits knife, which was over 3 feet long.
"Queen Vanellope, I order you to fall back. We'll invade the city together. You're too vulnerable by yourself and that suits not invincible" said Quaritch
"Negative colonel, I'm going in. Besides, looks like my support has arrived" said Vanellope
A droid gunship approached vanellopes position and dropped off 10 commando droids. The droids stormed a building Vanellope ordered them to and killed off any defenders as Vanellope smashed her way into the basement. To vanellopes surprise, Lucy wasn't there, despite the tracker saying she was. A commando held up one of the guards
"Where is the queen?" The commando asked
"I'll never tell you"
The commandos executed the guard
"Find the queen"
Vanellope looked around the basement, and came upon Lucy's prison cell. She stepped out of the suit and picked up Lucy's jean jacket which was left behind.
"This was Lucy's. She has to be here somewhere" said Vanellope
A commando approached Vanellope with a dying guard.
"Where's my baby? Where is Lucy you monster?!" Vanellope shouted
"Truck, cargo truck, wooden crate, right outside"
Vanellope got back into her suit and went with the commandos to the truck. She tore the truck open and carefully sliced each of the crates open, eventually finding Lucy and fluttershy inside, freezing from the cold January air.
"Mom? Is that you?" Lucy asked
"It's ok Lucy, mommy's here, I'm here to bring you and your friend home. Give her her jacket guards. Find something for the yellow one too" said Vanellope
Lucy put her jean jacket on and buttoned it up as the commandos draped a blanket over fluttershy.
"I know it's not enough to keep you warm Lucy but I promise you'll be back on the ship soon. Guards, secure the president, find the t cogs. I'm getting Lucy out of here" said Vanellope
"Roger roger" said the commandos
Vanellope put Lucy and fluttershy on the suits shoulders.
"Hold on tight" said Vanellope
She began making a run out of the city back to the battlefield as the secops forces were beginning to overrun the city defenses.
"This is mama bear, I need a samson down here now, I have my daughter and a prisoner and I need them extracted" said Vanellope
"Papa dragon to mama bear, report to the downed dragon near the main road, a chopper will pick us up there, I'm going after the final dragon if you wanna join" said Quaritch
"I'll go" said Lucy
"Lucy-
"I helped clone these monsters, I'm gonna help put an end to this. I can get us in. And I can help fly. Dad taught me well" said Lucy
Vanellope reluctantly agreed and met up with Quaritch at the rendezvous point, abandoning her suit and boarding the Samson. Rancis was waiting in the passenger area.
"I thought you were-
"Switched craft when I heard about Lucy. Besides, we're gonna need a pilot to take the dragon back" said Rancis
"Daddy"
Lucy hugged Rancis
"You sure you wanna do this?" Rancis asked
"I can get us in at least" said Lucy
"Fair enough. We're dropping off fluttershy then-
"Don't wait for me, just go" said Fluttershy
The Samson took off towards the final dragon which was busy fighting the ground forces. Luckily since it was distracted, they were able to get close and jump on the hull. Lucy went to an access hatch and used her powers to pull the hatch open. Quaritch entered first and opened fire on the crew as Rancis and Lucy took the pilot controls.
"Queen Vanellope, help me tie them up. And princess Lucy, since when do you know how to fly this thing?" Quaritch asked
"My daddy taught me. And he can fly anything" said Lucy
"This thing sure is scary" said Fluttershy as she sat down
"With it back in our hands, it's not so scary" said Quaritch
Rancis took the controls from Lucy and began flying away from the battle.
"This is papa dragon, we have targets in custody. Continue the invasion and find the t cogs, I'm heading home" said Quaritch
"Right, home" said Lucy quietly to herself as she sat down in a gunner seat
