As Rancis flew the dragon back to Hells gate, the invasion continued. And upon landing, Rancis and Vanellope got word that the president of free city was captured and the t cogs were found, and would be safely delivered back to the castle for the transformers to collect. Any other stolen stuff was to be scavenged and searched for by droid forces as the secops made their way back to base.
As Rancis went to help the colonel inspect the damages to the dragon, Vanellope took fluttershy and Lucy back with her to the castle. Vanellope also called honey over after she learned Lucy blurted out her secret she abandoned sugar rush years ago. As they went to talk in her office, Lucy went to her room.
Lucy entered her bedroom and took off her jean jacket, throwing it over the side of her bed before kicking off her boots.
"I'm home" she said to herself, albeit reluctantly
She was home, yet she wasn't happy. She looked in a corner and saw a pile of my little pony toys next to a toy of her castle, it reminded her that the equestrians still didn't like her much. She looked at a telescope near her window, a reminder she'd rather be in space, but couldn't bring herself to see her suffering worlds from the war. She was only 8 years old and her life was at its lowest she felt. She closed her blinds and climbed into bed, rubbing the holes in her ears, she hated not having earrings in them. She only owned 1 pair for casual use and she didn't really have them with her, and wearing her expensive diamond ones didn't really suit her situation enough to wear on a regular basis.
"I'm home, yet I feel unhappy" she told herself
A small lump of black fur jumped onto the bed and approached her, her pet cat benson. He rubbed against her and purred as she scratched his head
"At least you don't hate me, Benson" said Lucy
A knock on the door got Lucy's attention.
"Lucy, can I come in?" Her brother Kevin asked
"Sure, come in" Lucy replied
Kevin opened the door and walked in
"Hey Lucy, I'm really glad to have you back. We were all worried about you, especially me" said Kevin
"You were worried about me?" Lucy asked
"We're a team, sis. I can't run your kingdom without you. No one knows the droid army better than you. What happened over there? Miss Honey said you didn't want to come back. Hope you weren't trying to repeat moms big mistake. You know what would happen if that secret got out" said Kevin
"If you don't mind, bro, I really don't want to talk about it" said Lucy
"Ok, but do you at least wanna come down and eat? The chefs were able to make some pancakes" said Kevin
"I'm not hungry" said Lucy
It was then that her stomach grumbled.
"Come on sis, at least eat something" said Kevin
Lucy sighed and hopped out of bed with Kevin
"You'll be ok sis, in time. I know it must be hard coming back here, but mom and dad and grandpa are all happy you're home, your army's glad you're home" said Kevin
Lucy just remained silent. As the 2 walked to the dining room, they passed by their parents office, where honey nervously backed out the door as their mom approached her. Lucy could see fluttershy inside looking frightened.
"Let's get this straight, you ever, EVER, tell anybody my big secret and I swear you won't be living or working in this city anymore, you got that?" Vanellope asked
Honey nodded and ran away. Vanellope looked at her kids.
"Just ignore that, kids. Nothing to worry about" said Vanellope as she went back inside
The twins went to eat and then went to play with their toys. For a couple hours, that's what they did. Kevin tried his best to make Lucy feel happy, which she appreciated. The transformers who had their t cogs stolen stopped by the castle to retrieve them. Cybertronian medics also set up shop around the castle to reinstall them.
"The thieves wanted me to figure out how those cogs work. I couldn't make them do anything" said Lucy
"They need energon to function, Lucy. And there's only 2 places in this entire game with energon, you made one of them" said Kevin
"Cybertron, I know. Well, at least those cogs are going back to their owners" said Lucy
"The transformers are grateful to you, sis. You should be thankful for that, for they are great and powerful allies" said Kevin "Hey, you want to help me put together a lego set? I got this new spaceship I think you might like"
"Yeah, that'd be nice" said Lucy as she rubbed her ears
"Quit rubbing those holes, they're not gonna make your earrings come back" said Kevin
"I'm sorry. Come on, let's build" said Lucy
Before anything could happen, a droid entered the twins' playroom.
"Queen Lucy, you are wanted in your parents office. You're not in trouble, they just want to talk" said the droid
"I'll be back" said Lucy
Lucy went to her parents office, where Rancis and Vanellope were waiting for her on a couch. Lucy sat between them as they requested her to do.
"I spoke to fluttershy earlier, you know that. While we can't do anything about what sienar's doing to her land we can relocate her somewhere more suitable. But that's not why we asked you here" said Vanellope
"Your mom says fluttershy spoke to you a lot over there, and you told her things. Lucy, do you really think you're our biggest mistake?" Rancis asked
Lucy looked down, almost ready to cry.
"I've done such terrible things. Everyone on this stupid planet hates me, and we're broke because of my army simply existing. Can you blame me?" Lucy asked sadly
Her parents gave her a hug
"Lucy, you did bad things sure" said Rancis
"But that doesn't mean we don't love you" said Vanellope
"You're smart, pretty, your army has kept us safe this long" said Rancis
"And don't blame yourself for why we're broke. That was my fault I went to war with the empire. I'm sorry I'm making you suffer but I promise we'll be ok. We don't hate you for any of your choices" said Vanellope
Lucy wiped her tears and smiled
"Moneys gonna be tight for a bit, you already know that. But I promise we'll be ok, you'll still have a roof to sleep under" said Vanellope
"I already convinced honey to pitch in a little more with the expenses" said Rancis
"We're gonna be ok" said Vanellope "Before I forget, fluttershy told me how into these you were back in that city. I had shank run out and grab a pair"
Vanellope went to her desk and pulled a couple big hoop earrings out of her purse. She clipped them onto Lucy's ears, which made her happy
"They're perfect" said Lucy
"They definitely fit you. More than those old cherry ones you used to wear. What happened to those anyway?" Vanellope asked
"Still in my apartment in free city. But I don't care, I like these better" said Lucy
Just then, a droid entered.
"Your majesties, the droid ship Rancis' strength has returned. It brought back some interesting cargo you'll all want to see" said the droid
The family got on some warm clothes and went up to the ship. Vanellopes amp suit was safe and sound in the hangar
"The colonel said consider it a gift since you seemed to like it" said a droid
"Awesome. This thing will definitely come in handy should Taffyta annoy me" said Vanellope happily
"This isn't the cargo we told you about. It's over here" said a droid
The royals were led to a far corner of the hangar, where there were a few dozen crates at least stacked together. They each sported an imperial crest. One was open and was stuffed with blasters.
"a commando unit found this stash of imperial equipment hidden in free city. The thieves must've stole more than originally thought. It all appears to be military grade blaster rifles and armor"
"There's so much here" said Ralph
"The right thing to do would be to return this to the empire. But they abandon equipment without a second thought. We figured maybe you guys could put it to good use somehow"
"Aunt Calhoun does have connections" said Kevin
"And the empire did ruin our lives. Perhaps we could sell these and make some money to pay off our debts" said Vanellope
"I say we do it" said Lucy
"So it's a new family secret we have this stuff?" Ralph asked
"Guards, get this stuff shipped to my castle, throw it in a storage room, and cover the imp markings. What the imps don't know we have the better" said Lucy
