Hello everyone! I'm just here to give a brief explanation on why this story is talking so long and why I haven't been updating it. There's definitely going to be some bad news, but near the end of my excuse, it's possible that I also have some good news.

Why haven't there been updates? Well firstly, I'm not the best at writing. I do read a lot, but for me, it's so hard to construct my own writing. Including plot and wording, that all matters to me when writing this fanfic. As most people are, it's very exciting to start a new story, but my stupid self didn't do a lot of planning before hand. Yes, I had the beginning all thought out, and maybe a few scenes here and there, but I never thought of the ending or a major conflict.

So what will be this story's fate you're probably wondering? Well… I'm not so sure yet. The next chapter has been in the works for at least a month now, and I've only gotten less than half of it done. I want to say that I need a break from it, but I feel as if I've already taken one long enough. Yet I still come back to the document with a blank mind.

If you're looking for a short answer, I have two decisions to choose from: Either I go back and flesh out the plot (like I should have done from the start), or I drop the story altogether. Now don't be scared, it's a possibility, but I really wouldn't want to throw this concept away.

What will happen next? I'm more of an artist than a writer, so I might draw some art or even a one-shot comic to make up for my absence. I've already made a few lbt related art on my deviantart account, so I'll go ahead and direct to it near the end.

But other than that, I guess you as the reader will have to wait and see what happens I'm afraid. Again, I wouldn't want this story to go to waste, but anyways- to tell you I'm sorry, here's a teaser for the next chapter(if I ever finish it) and a little bit of behind the scenes that I copied from my planning document. It's not much but it's like that to prevent spoilers.

Segment from the next chapter-

The three ground fuzzies, unable to stop themselves fast enough, practically slid into his mouth. Without hesitation, Chomper clenched his jaws together and crunched down on their heads, squeaks of agony erupted from the tiny bodies, but their squeals of pain cut off abruptly when a blunt crack sounded from their necks.

Despite the intensity, Ruby watched in admiration. It was Chomper's strength that put her in awe. She once knew him as a small, impotent sharptooth, but seeing what he was capable of now enlightened her. Imagining when he's full grown…

Chomper licked the rodent blood from his jaws. "Alright, I'll clean this place up after we eat, I'm too hungry to wait anymore." He said with a ravenous tone.

Ruby, however, couldn't help but feel guilty as she stared at the motionless bodies on the ground. Out of the two of them, she shouldn't be eating red meat while she stayed in the valley. "It's ok, I'll just eat some green food."

"You helped me with the kill, you deserve this." Chomper said earnestly.

Despite the conceivable upshot, the prey did look tempting. So tender and warm…

With a resentful expression, Ruby tore away the fur from the ground fuzzy. She silently gave thanks to the creature that gave its life.

Chomper meanwhile finished his portion in less time than it took Ruby to devore hers.

Chomper stood up and licked the remnants from his muzzle. "I think I'll head to the stream to wash up."

"I'll come with you then." Ruby offered as she stood up. And together they walked cautiously through the forest.

All was quiet until they reached the valley's main clearing. From afar the two dinosaurs could see Mr. Threehorn approaching them.

"Welp, we're dead." Chomper deadpanned.

Major plot points

-He feels the pressure of choosing Ruby or Ali

-He struggles as his parents are influencing Ali on him.

-P and D are in a relationship, but c is feeling left out

Little things happen and Cera is causing accidental trouble and she is left out of the group.

(my original plans for chapter 9)-

9. Notes- Ch, P and D already know about their relationship, Ce is assuming it L shows R the perch, and R wants to go into the MB, but L doesn't wnat her to since she might get hurt. She plans to journey to an area where she most visited as a kid, (called The tranquil gorge. ) Meanwhile, A really wants to spend time with L, but he doesn't want her to since they're going into the mb, but she insists, and so, the three of them head off. Meanwhile, the rest of the peeps are at home, Perspective of C's thoughts, She assumes they are a thing but she fears that everyone is changing too much. Later, her dad notices her and eventually he gets some ideas, but she cares about her friends too much to tell on them.
