Dialga corrupted? The plan of the evil Darkai
Ahead of them was a kind of mist with some glitter particles, like special party effects. As soon as they noticed that, Lapras increased his speed as fast as it seemed like a speedboat hurtling through the sea. However, as soon as she told them "Get ready", it was increasingly clear that she was flying: there were none in the line in which she furrowed and her fins could be seen.
"Lapras, are you... flying?" Rose asked.
"It may seem that way, but no" she replied, "What we are going through is the sea of time, the confines of the area of the legendary Pokemon Dialga. Once traversed, the Hidden Land will be ahead."
By then, they were already being covered by the mist and, when it was over, they found themselves on a path through the sea: the waters were parted creating huge walls of water. Below them, there was a gap of one meter before Lapras's fins touched the water. Ahead of them, another layer of mist hid the end.
"Woah!" they all exclaimed.
"Pay attention, the Hidden Land is ahead," Lapras told them.
So, they broke through the last layer of mist. The PokeDestined gasped: they were flying in the sky, and in front of them a floating island of lush vegetation, like a jungle, was imposed. Behind it, on an even smaller piece of land, stood an imposing straight and cylindrical tower… the domain of the Pokemon of time: the Tower of Time.
"Oh no," Lapras worried.
"What's up, Lapras?" Zach asked.
"The tower of time" he responded pointing to the tower, "It's different. Usually, the tower of time radiates its energy and is shown in a red sky above it. But now…"
"It looks like a black sky," Rex pointed out, "So the Tower is controlled by darkness?"
"I think we can ask that… of them!" Luke yelled.
In front of them a kind of black cloud had appeared, but as they got closer, they realized that it was a flock of Yanmega approaching them and, in front of it, a Salamance was leading them. Above it, was Weavile again.
"So they finally arrive" he warned them, "A little late, Master Darkai almost has what he wants"
"So it is Darkai..." Mina mused.
"I guess who's responsible is a problem for later," Dylan stated, breathing a bit hard, "Damn, I lost a lot of my energy in the previous battle."
"Take this, Dylan" Rose told him as she gave her partner a berry, "This will get you back"
Before Dylan ate the berry, the Yanmega attacked with a sonic bomb. On instinct, Lapras dove toward the edge of the Hidden Land. Before they could move again, the Froakie managed to eat the berry.
"Lapras, we must get to the Tower of Time" Zack told her.
"The limits of the Hidden Land is as far as I can go," she replied.
"Then, we should fly here…" Rex proposed, "Luke, can you take the others? Dylan and I will take care of Weavile and the minions."
"Okay, you should hurry" she replied.
Just then, the Yanmega flock loomed over them.
"Time to evolve!"
Rex, Luke, and Dylan evolved into Charmeleon, Tranquill, and Frogadier. Afterwards, they ultra evolved into Charizard, Tranquill, and Greninja. The next second, Mina, Rose and Zack jumped on Luke while Dylan mounted on Rex.
"Good luck, chosen children" Lapras said goodbye as she descended to the limits of the island, "We entrust everything to you"
Lapras disappeared from sight while without being able to say goodbye to her or thank her for her help, the Yanmega horde flew over them like the worst cloud of mosquitoes that one suffers in a jungle. Zack parried them with several Thundershocks. For their part, Rex and Dylan pounced on Weavile and his Salamance. As the Charizard shot down the transport, Dylan and Weavile had their revenge on speed: they were moving as fast as the ninjas themselves. In an instant, they clashed their fists and claws in the air.
"I already wanted the rematch that we left pending" Weavile told him (apparently, some kind of rivalry had been born).
Dylan stressed .
"And that's why you're weak... Quick attack!"
Weavile made a quick move, kicking Dylan hard. Then, he proceeded to continue attacking. Dylan pulled himself together and quickly counterattacked.
" Shadow Ball !"
" Water pulse !"
The black and blue colored attacks collided in midair.

Luke carried Rose, Mina and Zack on his evolved body. The latter was recovering with an berry due to the wear and tear of his Thundershocks (it was thanks to the Pokemon they had met that they had enough supplies.
"Hold on," Luke warned them, "We're nearing the top."
The Tower of Time was quite close to them and didn't seem to have any kind of protection. So, seizing the opportunity, Luke skipped the floors inside by flying to the top (for some reason, the force field that prevented this was not activated). No problem, they made it to the top. However, the problems lay there.
They found themselves before a stone altar, surrounded by four large columns of the same material. In this, there were 6 blue stone gears, with green inscriptions that were not understandable. However, the gears changed a bit from green to black and the color of the stone they were made of seemed to turn charcoal at times.
But nothing compared to a huge Pokemon lying on the ground: it looked like a dragon without wings, but its body was covered in diamond and steel. He was apparently unconscious, but his aura was fighting against the darkness of a dark atom.
"Finally," a voice above them said, "The PokeDestined. Or at least 4 of them"
Then, a ghostly Pokemon of black color and a kind of red scarf descended from the sky, without stopping to observe the chosen children. When they saw him, they felt a great amount of dark energy coming from him, as if he were the very source of all problems. It was Darkai.
"Time to Ultra Evolve!" Mina, Rose and Zack yelled.
First, they evolved into Nidorina , Bayleef , and Luxio . Ultra then evolved into Nidoqueen, Meganium, and Luxray.
"Stone Edge!"
"Energy Ball!"
"Thunder!"
"Air cutter!"
The three attacks were launched to attack Darkai, but before they could touch him, Dialga rose up and covered the enemy. The chosen four then saw something they did not expect: Dialga, the legendary Pokemon of time, was controlled by a dark atom.
"Shadow Ball!"
Dialga launched a powerful Shadow Ball , in the direction of the PokeDestined. As fast as she could, Mina used a rock shield to protect them all. However, the attack tore through the rocks and struck the Nidoqueen squarely.
"Mina!" her companions yelled, running towards her. She was alive, but injured.
"What do we do now?" asked Luke with some fear, "Shall we fight Dialga?"
"He's a legendary" Zack recalled, "He's very powerful"
"Exactly," Darkai told them, "I have to admit that you have been a great nuisance to get here, but I suppose Dialga is enough to finish you off... Poor Dialga, without the energy to fight, he does not have the will to resist the darkness... finish them"
Dialga prepared to launch a Shadow Ball from his mouth, but Zack attacked with the most powerful Thunder he had ever done and held it in the air.
"I can't... take it long..." he said with difficulty.
"I'll slow it down," Luke yelled, " Tornado!"
The attack helped pushing theShadow Ball back . However, the power of a legendary was immeasurable.
"Let me help" Rose told him, accumulating natural energy in her mouth, " Energyball !"
Just like before, the shot went up into the air for the purpose of clearing the clouds. However, Darkai did not allow that to happen.
"Dark Pulse!"
Darkai's dark energy dissolved Rose's natural energy like ice melting in boiling water. Zack couldn't take it anymore and his power was greatly overwhelmed, knocking down the three chosen Pokemon and leaving them badly injured with his partner Mina.
"Good, now that the PokeDestined are gone," Darkai boasted, "It's time to go after Palkia's powers..."
He was about to leave, but...
"Flamethrower!"
A torrential blast of fire streaked past him, and the next second Rex (who had just defeated Yanmega's hive) was blocking his way.
"Another PokeDestined who wants to get in my way?" Darkai said angrily, "Well, now that I have part of Dialga's powers, I will fear no child... Dark Pulse!"
"Flamethrower!"
The fire and the dark wave collided in the sky with such force that it demonstrated the equality of power… or not? Darkai was right: the Dialga powers he had stolen gave him even greater strength and little by little the clash of powers advanced towards Rex.
"No… I'll… give up…" Rex muttered.
"I hate that persevering attitude the PokeDestined have!" exclaimed Darkai, increasing the power
But, at that moment, something strange happened: The Pokephone that Rex was carrying began to emit a glow of light that surrounded Rex's body. It didn't evolve it, but rather gave it a kind of raw energy that contrasted against Darkai's dark energy. The next second, he regained stability and again they were tied, thus causing a huge explosion.
"Damn!" Darkai yelled, "Finish the others!"
Rex, recovering from the smoke from the explosion, could see Darkai escaping, but not Dialga pounced on his friends... what to do? The answer was clear. Wasting no more time, he flew in the direction of the top of the Tower of Time.
( Meanwhile …)
Dylan was still fighting Weavile. However, as the last attack collided between water and darkness, Weavile noticed that Darkai was escaping.
"Well, I guess we can leave it for later," he told her, calling his Salamance, "But I'll be waiting for you to settle this once and for all... on the Dark Mountain"
Dylan couldn't let it go and dove to catch up with the Salamance. However, Weavile did not allow it and, taking out a black ball, he threw it and it exploded in the air creating a cloud of black smoke that misled the Greninja. By the time it cleared, Weavile was too far to fly.
(At the tower…)
Dialga was lunging at Rose, Luke, Mina and Zack when Rex arrived and with a strong push, made him miss the smash. The Charizard clung with all its claws and fangs to the Pokemon, but its body was made of steel and diamond... it could only resist in that state for a few seconds before Dialga knocked it down.
Rex tried to get up, but at that instant, Dialga attacked a Shadow Ball and Rex counterattacked with Flamethrower . However, Rex's attack was nothing compared to the Legendary Pokemon's and he fell to his knees, exhausted.
"Dragon Claw!"
Rex couldn't move and could only watch as Dialga lunged at him with his Dragon Claws to tear him to pieces. He needed something to cover himself with… his tail? That strange idea arose from his mind. He didn't have much choice: closing his eyes, he just put his tail covering his face.
The next second, a metal-on-metal-like clash was heard. Rex opened his eyes and realized that his tail had been covered in a blue glow and this had protected him from Dialga's claws.
"Hydro pump!"
From the air, Dylan hit Dialga with a wave of water and knocked him back, giving Rex time to break free.
"Are you okay?" He said, "Weavile got away from me... Hey, your tail..."
Rex took in his tail: it had turned blue.
"This is… Dragon Tail !"
"It's a Dragon-type attack," Dylan said, understanding the plan, "If you hit Dialga with that, we might be able to beat him. Let me distract him first."
"Yes, do it"
Dylan nodded and launched a Quick Attack at Dialga. While this was a Legendary Pokemon, it failed to match the Greninja's speed with its Dragon Claws. For his part, Rex gathered enough energy in his body and had accumulated it in his tail.
The Charizard soared into the sky as it watched Dialga trying to smash Dylan. Then it dove toward Dialga, and before he knew it…
"Here I go!" Rex yelled, " Dragon Tail !"
Rex caught Dialga on the head with his tail…it felt like hitting one rock against another. After the blow, the Legendary staggered from the blow that left him immediately unconscious and collapsed, making the entire Tower of Time tremble.
"We did it?" Dylan asked, tired of all the dodging he did.
"I guess..." Rex replied, descending exhausted, "Hey, but... what?"
That last one was due to his Pokephone, which was shining again like in his brief confrontation against Darkai. Rex had an idea: he slowly approached the downed Dialga and illuminated him with that glow. The darkness reacted and separated from the legendary like shadows receding in the sunlight.
