Hey!... Ok how can I be positive about this, this is gonna be a kinda sad next few days. As you know from my last Comment spotlight type of thing, has fucked up in terms of showing both me and MS the statistics of the story itself. Witch as I described in the previous chapter, THAT IS BAD FOR ANY FANFIC WRITER NOT TO SEE! I can still see the comments, Thank you Randomguy0110100100110 for helping me figure that out. But I still cannot see any updates to the other necessary things that can keep a story alive. So MS and I have come to the conclusion. And this is urgent too, this is going to be the last chapter of THIS version of caught in the fall. Yha that is right Chapter Nine is going to be the last chapter of the Original Caught in The Fall, and on 3/10/2023 or 3/11/2023 MS and I are going to be releasing the newest version of the story, but if you think that a lot is going to change, HELL NO NOT MUCH IS GONNA CHANGE! We are going to make sure that all of the mistakes we missed or problematic power scaling problems are fixed, AND We are going to make certain details a lot more obvious to the viewer of the story. But Not enough to hint to you guys fully as to what is going on. So if you see an updated chapter it is gonna have the text {[(REMASTERED)]} next to it! SO GET EXCITED! Leave some comments on this chapter and I will do the pleasure of logging them all and talking to you all at the beginning of chapter 10, Yes you heard me right CHAPTER TEN, and the start of the first big fight arc INVADERS MUST DIE! So predict fights, Ask about the writing process, And let's turn this into the biggest event in the HISTORY OF THIS FANFICTION PAGE! You all have been so fantastic for not only this story, but all of my other ones as well, and I am glad to unveil for you all Caught in The Fall (Remastered)! And as the last comment spotlight for this story before the big event, I give you the final comment spotlight in full!

Shinigami200 said: Why did you make Grimjaw's cero as strong as gae Bolg which manipulates causality?

Ethor says: We… Didn't. Heck Grimmjow doesn't even use a Cero to block the Attack, he just uses it to… well attack, MS could explain it better than I can so I am gonna pass this off to him while I work on the next one.
MS says: the throwing technique is not able to alter causality it is just a giant fuck off attack that is faster than anyone is able to react to and block, as shown by EMYIA within UBW. if it was it would have just avoided Rho Aias and just killed Archer. So a Herrio of Grimmjows Caliber before release and at the amount of reaction speed that Grimmjow had at the time, I.E firing off a Cero at both Archer and Lancer at the time, he would have blocked it… it just would have been VERY damaging to him at the time.

Shinigami: Why is berserker able to talk?

Ethor says: honestly there are many reasons, like the fact that it would be boring to write a silent insane person to me, there is also the fact that Vlad III is somehow able to counteract the effects of the insanity effect on him, meaning he is able to speak. Hell, it is why we had to seek him out because he is such an interesting character within the lore. But mainly, because of the fact that I think it would just be fucken fun.

AND THAT IS ALL OF THEM! Once again Thank you all for your support and I cannot wait to see you all in the massive story event! DFTBA!

Chapter 9: Introductions

Written by: Ethorthebayleef and MSLMGamer

(24 hours before La redada)

"Are we almost there yet?" asked Rin

"I think so, it should be another 30 minutes or so," Taiga said as she started to drive faster.

Shirou starts to communicate with Archer, "What are you seeing up there?"

"I'm seeing a city far off, it probably is Karakura. I'm not noticing anything unusual yet but considering those creatures came to our city they might be running rampant here." Archer said, standing on the roof of the RV along with Saber.

"Are you sure you're up for this?" Saber asks.

"What do you mean?"

"You started your journey to kill Shirou and just three days ago you decided to become his servant. You don't seem like the type to forget something like this that quickly." Saber explains.

Archer sighs, "I'm still not over it, I just have a distraction from it. I'm still not sure how I feel about this but it's not important at the moment."

"Well I'm glad you're on our side again Archer," Saber says with a smile.

Archer sighs then smirk before Rider flies near them, "A chilling goal indeed my red friend! Just as long as you accomplish this mission first I see no reason you should stop your ambition! That's what made me the great Iskandar after all!"

"I'm not sure this is comparable to that Rider," Archer says.

"Nonsense! Your goal and my conquests are exactly the same! They are ambitions, they are goals we risk our lives for! Despite good or evil intent, they are still ambitions and that's something worth fighting for! It's up to you to decide if that will remain your ambition or not!" Rider explains.

Archer thinks about it for a bit before noticing a black blob from afar. It starts to get closer into view until he realizes it's a hollow. He then notices another one and another one until he sees about 7 of them in front of them. He projects his bow and holds out his hand, projecting Caladbolg to Saber and Rider's surprise.

"You two may wanna back away. Warn the others while you're at it." Archer says as he prepares to fire.

Rider flies away excitedly and Saber tells everyone to brace themselves. Taiga stops the RV and Archer aims and then finally takes his shot.

"CaladBOLG!" Archer says as he fires the sword, space contorting around it as it strikes the hollow a second after he fired.

An explosion is felt by them and even Urahara, Isshin, and Yoruichi Shihouin.

"What was that massive energy?" Yuzu asked shortly into her training.

"It's just this knucklehead going overboard." Urahara quickly says, referring to Renji.

"Did you notice it to Caster?" asked Berserker.

"Yeah, that was definitely a noble phantasm," Caster responds.

"You never explained what a noble phantasm is," Karin says.

"From what I'm able to gather it's kinda like my zanpakuto. A weapon specific to them." Isshin tries to explain.

"That is the basic concept of it, yes," Berserker says.

"Each noble phantasm is different, some are weapons, some are objects, and so much more. They are all tied to our legend and the things we encountered." Caster explains.

"So much for not worrying them," Urahara says facepalming in the process. "Yoruichi could you ple-"

Before he even finishes, she's already gone. Urahara just sighs and continues training Renji as Isshin and the servants continue to train Yuzu and Karin. Yoruichi travels in her cat form to survey the area only to see a crater and an RV not far from it. The vehicle is heading toward the town and she silently watches as they drive past it, she follows them until they reach the shop.

"This seems to be the place," Shirou says as everyone walks out of the RV and Rider and Velvet get out of the chariot.

"This place seems a bit too small," Rin said.

"Size isn't everything dear girl," Yoruichi says while still in her cat form.

"WAIT WHY IS THE CAT TALKING?!" Rin screamed in confusion, holding onto Shirou's arm.

"Not the weirdest thing I've seen," Lancer said.

"We've been expecting you all," Yoruichi says as she heads into the building. "Follow me."

They all follow her to a giant ladder on the floor and they all climb down to a giant room that looks like it was some small outside area. Everyone is in shock as they take everything in until they are greeted by Urahara.

"So you actually did show up. A bit earlier than I expected, no less."

"We couldn't just ignore this whole situation. We're willing to help any way we can." Shirou says.

Lancer looks around and notices Renji training but doesn't take note of him. He looks at Isshin and sees the girls and the people behind them. The guy doesn't catch his interest but the woman immediately does.

"Wait, master?" Lancer says as he walks towards Caster. "Is that really you?"

"Cu Chulainn, Ireland's golden child. It's good to see you again but I'm not the Scathach you know. I am Scathach-Skadi, a fusion of both Scathach and Skadi. I have vague memories of you but I am not the same person you're thinking of." Caster explains.

"Still though, this is weird. I'd never thought I'd see you here even if it's like this." Lancer says.

"What about you sir?" Saber asks.

"I am Vlad III, a Berserker class servant. Who are you all?"

"Guess the time for introductions is in order," Shirou says.

Everyone introduces themselves and their names except for Archer and Assassin who only reveal their servant class. Isshin, Urahara, and Yoruichi are suspicious of them but decide to trust them since they're with Shirou and his gang.

"This can prove to be useful, now that they're here we have more servants and masters that can help Karin and Yuzu. That's only if you'll allow it, Isshin." Urahara suggests.

Isshin thinks it over a bit then decides, "Fine I'll allow it but only as long as I keep watch at all times. If I feel something is off I'm stopping it immediately."

Velvet walks up to them and chimes in, "I promise not to go too hard with them. I'll start with the basics and work my way up at a comfortable pace with them."

Yuzu and Karin may not have expected their week to turn out like this but they were willing to go through hell to help Ichigo.

"So what's the first lesson?" Isshin asked Velvet.

"Simple, sensing magic," Velvet said. "Take the area around you two, for example, every single person here has some kind of magic flowing through them. Sure seeing a soul reaper is itself sensing magic but that's not discerning between the two. Your father has spiritual pressure' while your servants and I have mana, the two are similar in concept but that's it. Spiritual pressure can be felt by the simplest of man while mana can only be felt by growing accustomed to its hidden presence. I want you two to close your eyes and focus, I'm going to use a small bit of mana and I want you two to try and tell me when I'm using it."

They both close their eyes then Velvet covers his hand in mana to which both don't respond. He tries it again, this time getting closer to them to see if it helps. Yuzu notices it while Karin doesn't and Yuzu blurts out that she feels it. Velvet tries again with Karin and after a bit, Karin is able to sense the mana from him. Karin gets a little frustrated and Velvet notices.

"Yuzu was able to sense it first but that shouldn't pressure you, Karin. Just because someone does something first doesn't mean they will be better than you in the end. After all, that was the first time both of you really tried to focus on it so it will take time before either of you will master the most basic mage craft."

Karin reassures herself as they both continue to try and sense when Velvet uses mana with both of them being able to nail it after a few minutes. Velvet takes note that Yuzu shows great potential while Karin is lacking. He hopes it doesn't come to it but it looks like Karin may struggle more and more as it goes on.

"Next up is mana manipulation. This is self-explanatory, both of you have mana and with that mana, you can do all sorts of things but for now, I want you to make a simple ball." Velvet says as he creates a ball of mana in his hand. "You don't have to do it with one hand if it's too difficult but the trick to this is to constantly visualize what it is you are wanting to create. You have to see the ball in your mind then use your mana to form the shape into your hands."

Karin and Yuzu try it with one hand but fail so they try to use both hands to visualize the ball. After a couple of minutes, both start to form mana in their hands with Yuzu slowly forming it into the shape while Karin struggles to keep the shape. Both eventually tire out with neither of them creating a ball but Velvet feels like he's seen enough after these two lessons. Yuzu is a great mage who needs training while Karin doesn't have it in her, at least not entirely. He notices a bit of spiritual pressure in both of them but more so in Karin, when she tries to use mana her pressure kicks in without her realizing it, possibly being the cause of what's messing her up but that's not the only thing he noticed. When Karin was trying to form the shape he noticed small symbols in her mana flow, indicating the possibility of runic mage craft. He knows a bit about runes but not as much as Caster so he thinks it would be better if she had private lessons after today, at least she has the basic fundamentals down to a degree.
