"What the hell, old man?!" shouted Naruto in Sarutobi's office, "I was just attacked by several member of Konoha's anbu!"
"What are you talking about?" asked Sarutobi.
Naruto then pulled out a storage scroll and placed it onto the ground. Smoke filled the area revealing several blank faced anbus. They were obviously members of Root.
"Root!" shouted Sarutobi, angrily as he realised who was behind this.
"Lord Third, it wasn't just Naruto who was attacked, it was also me and your Jounin," said Nagato with a glare that sent shivers down several Jounin. The man was clearly Kage level and more powerful than their dear Hokage.
"Please bring Danzo Shimura to my office, now!" shouted Sarutobi as the Anbu moved to bring a plotting elder to their enraged elder.
"Uncle what is Root?" asked Naruto, confused.
"Root is a sub-division of Anbu that was disbanded but when it was active it worked for Danzo Shimura and did not at all serve Lord Hokage, in fact they have tried to kill him," said Kakashi to which Naruto nodded. However an Anbu Captain appeared and Naruto stood there expecting an Old grumpy man with multiple lies ready.
"Where is he?" asked Sarutobi.
"Sir, we can't find him," said the Anbu Captain.
'So this is what you were planning?' thought Sarutobi.
"As of this moment Danzo Shimura is a traitor to Konoha, raid the Root base and take down all Root members there," ordered Sarutobi. Hiruzen then spent a minute calming down.
"Apologies, it seems I have made a large error," said Sarutobi "I allowed Danzo Shimura to live, it seems he planned to kidnap Naruto but clearly that failed and now he is god knows where."
-Unknown Location-
"Why are you here?" asked a pale man with a snake-like moments.
"I am here, Orochimaru to talk about Konoha," said Danzo.
"What about Konoha?" asked the snake.
"I know you plan to attack Konoha and would like to help you," said Danzo.
"Help me how?" asked Orochimaru.
"If you spare Konoha, I will assist you in killing Sarutobi," said Danzo.
"That doesn't answer my question," said Orochimaru.
"I will use my spies to find out the informaiton Hiruzen has on you and your plans, you can then change your plans to include Sarutobi's plans," said Danzo.
"Interesting," said Orochimaru.
"So do you agree?" asked Danzo.
"I agree," said Orochimaru but both of them didn't know that the other was planning their very demise, after the occasion of Sarutobi's death.
