11 Complicated Relationships

I started to think how to react to Jessica when I woke up in this body and received his memories.

I was astonished that this guy knew Jessica, so when she called or texted me, I didn't answer her for fear that she would find out that I wasn't the same guy.

Now I was going to meet her face to face.

The previous Alex Wayne trusted Jessica a lot, and of course knowing her from the comics and the feelings I inherited from the previous Alex, I also trust her.

While I teased the child, I waited for Jessica to arrive.

A few minutes later, we noticed a vehicle stop near us.

From which came a beautiful woman with long black hair wearing simple clothes that failed to hide her curves.

It was Jessica Jones.

Locating me, she approached us.

When I was going to greet Jessica, she lunged at me, directing a punch at my face. I reacted quickly and stopped her punch, making my arm go numb.

I looked at her in surprise.

-SHE ATTACKED ME WITH ALL HER STRENGTH- I shouted furiously in my mind.

When I was going to ask her why she attacked me, she interrupted me.

"So now you're also an enhanced, huh?"

"…"

When Jessica saw that I didn't reply she seemed to understand something.

"Because you're now an enhanced, you were afraid to get me involved with the people who did that to you, right?"

I gave Jessica a calm look as if accepting her words, but inside I was in shock, this girl created a whole conspiracy of the reason why I ignored her calls and messages.

"I see, well, you don't have to worry about me, I know how to protect myself"

At the end of our conversation, I told her what I wanted her to do for me.

"Don't worry, I'll find her a good place, once I do, I'll send you the address of the place"

I thanked her but she kept staring at me.

"What's the matter?" I asked

"What will you do with SHIELD? If they find out what you're doing they'll pursue you"

I knew it by saving Laura, but I couldn't ask them for help. Not when Hydra use that place like it's they country house.

It will take 24 hours for them to suspect my disappearance and start looking for me.

Jessica noticed that I looked at Laura for a moment before answering her.

"Don't worry, if they come for me, I will break their illusions with my fist"

I answered raising my fist.

She just laughed and didn't ask anything else.

12 Las Vegas Part 1

As I was getting ready to leave, Jessica tossed me her car keys and said:

"Take my car, leave me yours"

I looked at her for a few minutes before accepting.

"Be careful"

"Don't worry, I'll get rid of the car quickly and finish the matters you entrusted to me"

When I was going to get in the vehicle, Jessica calls me.

"What's up Jess...?" When I was going to ask her what she wanted, Jessica put her lips against mine.

I was surprised at first but then I accepted it and fought for the control for over a minute before parting our lips leaving a trail of saliva.

Before I spoke, she said:

"Come back safe and sound. And don't worry me too much"

I smiled at her concern and told her it would be fine.

After Jessica left, I started the vehicle and I left accompanied by Laura.

The girl seemed calmer and didn't seem too worried about her mother.

"Don't worry girl, once we finish our business, we will visit your mother's grave"

To my surprise, she didn't growl but answered me saying:

"Okay, I understand Alex"

I was silent for a few seconds before smiling and telling her:

"I'm glad you do"

To get to Las Vegas I had to *borrow* a light aircraft.

11 hours later.

When we arrived in Las Vegas after a long trip, I decided to take a taxi to get to the bar that Sarah told me had the information on the location of the mutant children.

North of the city of Las Vegas, a striking looking 27-year-old man appeared. He had a confident smile on his face and a lion-like mane around his neck giving him a wild look.

"The prey that I, Kraven the Hunter, seek are always part of my collection... hahahaha"
