Yo!
Had time so penned it down. Next chapter might take some time.
Guest: Well, I am a working person. Whenever, I get time, I write it down. Sorry! Thanks, too for your support.
Did you guys receive chapter update?!!
Everyone watched with a bated breath, as amidst the violent tremors that were continuously rocking the arena, the human stood hunched, his blue attire torn at some places on his torso.
The wisps of smoky energy, having originated as white, had just now flashed yellow. Surprisingly, the wisps were not affected by the harsh winds blowing around.
Then, the human slowly raised his head.
Erasa took a sharp breath and looked at the raven haired girl beside her, offhandedly noting that the latter was not crying anymore. "His irises… it isn't normal, right?"
Videl mutely shook her head as she gazed at the big screen showing their friend's face. His eyes were plain white without any irises.
Irises were not some kind of lights supposed to go off. Erasa was right. This wasn't normal for any human.
Though, as she gazed at the yellow smoky wisps of energy, the hunch she had, for some days, begun to cement—
Her musings halted as the boy's irises suddenly began flickering in the whites before finally becoming stable.
Are they green? Or is it the light? The blue-eyed girl thought while watching on the screen. It was— she froze as his hair suddenly flashed golden and an equally golden aura bursted around him.
Erasa gasped loudly, eyes almost coming out of sockets as she witnessed the phenomenon transpiring before her eyes. Unable to take her eyes off, she muttered. "V-Videl… that's…"
The raven-haired girl couldn't reply, finding herself speechless. Their friend… their nerdy, shy and socially awkward friend Gohan was… really was…
"… Bardock…" The busty blonde finished, unknowingly for both of them.
Ignoring the stunned silence now enveloping the arena, Varcus began assaying the situation.
The abducted human was the Saiyan hybrid; miscalculation had been done and punishments would be given, there was no doubt about that.
However, the Saiyan's presence was not unwelcomed; unexpected, definitely but not unwelcome. After all, Saiyans' development was nothing short of incredible especially when they had been a weak race compared to the empire.
Yet one of them had defeated Frieza. Then, another's energy had been felt in their quadrant; just how powerful had they become?
He was curious, had been since the very first day, how would his son — the strongest among them — fare against a Saiyan?
It seemed his curiosity was about to be sated. A smirk appeared on his visage.
"A super saiyan?" Cooler voiced, leaning a bit forward on his seat. "This is quite a surprise, King Varcus." Pitiful. In reality, the Arcosian wasn't impressed.
The Saiyan transformation was flashy, thus could entice nervousness even in the seasoned warriors witnessing it for the first time. However, he was sure Broly would snap this Saiyan brat's neck without even transforming.
Yet, appearances needed to be kept.
"I decided to make this battle more interesting. After all, once the prince defeats the one as strong as the slayer of Frieza, his prowess would be well established in the empire and beyond."
Cooler curbed the urge to roll his eyes at the pellucid remark directed at his heritage. Of course, everyone believed Frieza to be stronger than him, and a Super Saiyan had defeated the arrogant bastard.
Clearly in the eyes of the foolish King, if the prince defeated another Super Saiyan, the former would be established superior to Frieza's kin — him.
It was laughable. Still, for the time being, he would allow them to assume. "We can even seek the aid of this Saiyan warrior against Broly. Naturally, you must be aware of how the tale goes."
The King glanced at the weakest heir of the Cold empire, thought unhidden within his eyes, again reminding himself that this fool was just being used to establish a foothold in the southern quadrant. "The tale of the legendary Super Saiyan? That is overly exaggerated."
"Yet smoke rises from fire only."
The king frowned. "Surely, you cannot believe in those rumors?"
The Arcosian smirked. "I am not denying that the tale must be exaggerated, but the presence of a Super Saiyan has already been established."
"One defeated Frieza, this young Saiyan before us, and the one presently wreaking havoc in the Southern quadrant; we cannot simply overlook it."
"No doubt, the credibility of the tale remains superfluous, but as per it, the legendary warrior's one of the messages was 'only a Super Saiyan can truly defeat another Super Saiyan' — even if it is not true, we can still use the prowess—"
"Cooler-san," Varcus, softly but sharply, interrupted. "My son will defeat the super saiyan and provide closure to the tale as well as related exaggerations."
A moment passed.
Cooler smiled. "Then, I give you my word: Prince Kardon's name will reach far and beyond."
Varcus the third nodded, clearly pleased.
"So you are a Saiyan," Kardon voiced, taking in the golden-haired, teal-eyed boy… no, warrior before him.
Respect needed to be given where it was due. This was no weak human, neither an ordinary Saiyan but one of the legends. A slight grin paved its way on his face. "This duel will be an experience."
"I will make sure of it," Replying, Gohan blurred. Crossing the distance instantly, he took in the slowly widening eyes of the prince, and smashed the redhead's face.
His first successful hit was followed by a huge shock wave that even threw him off slightly. That's a first. His eyes narrowed though when he took in his opponent.
The prince hadn't even budged. Infact, his small grin was also intact. Putting aside the fact, he again moved.
Appearing behind and above the redhead, he brought his leg downwards. The kick connected, and again a visible shockwave ensued pushing the demi-saiyan backwards.
Yet, the prince didn't even spare a glance, instead continued to look ahead. Okay. One thing is clear: our energies are reacting to each other's but his is definitely more potent. If only, I could take a definite read of it…
That was one thing buzzing Gohan ever since he had arrived here. Others aside, he hadn't been able to read the energies of those in upper echelons.
Maybe it was due to a mixture of energies of various races over the years, but all he felt was like looking at a cloud. Only benefit being the so far inability to suppress the energy displayed by them.
Taking a breath, the demi-Saiyan disappeared yet again with a burst of Ki. Leaving afterimages and appearing all around the redhead, Gohan unleashed a flurry of attacks.
Each hit generated a shock wave that immediately made his after image disappear. The arena ground developed craters, and the winds striking the walls left cracks.
Amidst all that, Prince Kardon stood with nary a sign of struggle. Only his grin had turned to a weary expression. Another hit and the redhead couldn't keep it any longer. "Are you done?"
Gohan halted mid-punch, blinked and a sheepish expression appeared on his face. He must be getting bored. He knew the feeling well from sparring in his second form several times.
Still… "Not yet," Replying, he flipped backwards, halting several feet above the ground. Cupping his hands near the waist, he began chanting. "Ka…"
Videl and Erasa sat stunned. They hadn't actually been able to see the battle yet from the weird apparitions of Bard… Gohan and the unrelenting figure of Kardon, it was clear that their friend's attack hadn't worked at all.
It was unnerving but only slightly because, by now, it had become limpid that their friend was full of surprises. It would not be a far fetched statement to make if he suddenly announced that he was still holding back.
"Ka! Me!… "
Nevertheless, hearing the chanting that she had come to associate with a Ki wave that was revered among true martial artists, the Crane school student found herself leaning forward.
"… Ha! Me!…"
"It's gonna pack a lot, right?" The busty blonde muttered as she witnessed the legendary wave in creation.
Videl had shown her small ki attacks but the girl would rant, with a fervor, about these legendary attacks and the day she would learn them.
A ripple of something that even she felt, cut through her musings, and she instinctively realized that shit was about to hit the fan.
Son Gohan's muscles flexed, and the golden-haired boy thrusted his arms. "Ha!" And released the wave.
In the opposite direction from the prince.
When did he turn around? Erasa thought. The son of Goku was now facing away from the direction of the prince, his hands still in position.
As she took in the blue streak that had at once appeared in the skies as far as the horizon was, she slowly turned towards her knowledgeable friend. "It's supposed to work like… that?"
A moment passed in silence.
Videl slowly shook her head.
"Then…"
"... I really don't know, 'Rasa…"
"Unable to hold even your own attack?" Kardon voiced, raising his eyebrow.
Immediately laughter ensued from the arena.
The saiyan turned around, hands already placed on his forehead. "Not quite."
The prince opened his mouth, paused, blinked and then turned his face to look over his shoulder.
Something blinked in the skies. Only a moment later, Kardon realized it was the same energy wave. His eyes widened. Did it travel around—
"Masenko Ha!"
He quickly looked back towards the Saiyan just in time to see another wave releasing from the Saiyan's hands.
Both attacks collided.
A resounding boom ensued, rocking the arena like never before.
"Impressive," Cooler remarked, truly impressed for the first time. He had felt the energy wave travel around the entire planet without deviating even slightly.
Sandwich the prince — it was a clever tactic.
Effective? Was yet to be seen.
Things settled down.
Prince Kardon was still standing. However, his attire had definitely seen better days. The royal garbs were torn at several places.
A trickle of blood was falling down his mouth.
Varcus released a breath he didn't know he was holding. That had been an unprecedented tactic. He had never seen one able to manipulate energy so effectively.
Still, it was far from over.
"A good tactic," Kardon muttered, wiping his mouth. "But useless," He took a breath. "My turn."
Gohan suddenly saw a red orb of energy before his eyes, when a hand fisted his hair and smashed his face into the orb.
A huge explosion occurred.
With a slight headache beginning to form, the demi-Saiyan saw light before his eyes. Note it down for future, Gohan. The attack tactic was simple but good.
Then, breath escaped him as pain registered in his stomach.
A kick, he recognised, hurled him towards the ground. At the same time, it also cleared his vision.
The son of Goku halted a few feet above the ground.
Only to blink as the prince suddenly appeared beneath him, the redhead's mouth opened wide in which an orb of red color was pulsating rapidly while yellow concentric rings of energy were flowing towards it.
The demi-Saiyan just had a moment to brace before the orb bursted and released a stream of energy.
"I am worried, Videl," Erasa hesitatingly asked, her gaze fixed at the red stream of energy as it slowly thinned down.
Her blue eyes focused at the skies where the energy wave had carried Gohan to, Videl slowly sighed. "Me too, 'Rasa. This is the first time I have seen such a battle."
"But, honestly speaking, he had fought against such opponents many times in the past; I really don't know how powerful he is…" The raven-haired girl trailed off.
"But it must be closing to a… minute?" The blonde muttered.
Videl opened her mouth but a rise in chatter around her, made her pause. She focused on the screen which showed a smoking figure falling freely from the skies.
Though dread filled her being but at the same time, an assurance was there somewhere deep in her being. It helped her as she didn't immediately want to jump for him.
Not that she could, with the shield around their balcony.
A few minutes later, the demi-Saiyan became visible through naked eyes and a couple moments later, his body collided with the ground, leaving a crater in the wake.
Please be alright, Gohan. Videl mused while clasping her hands between her thighs. He was alive though — in fact, his chest was heaving calmly just like a normal person.
Erasa also began chewing her nails in nervousness as she watched her friend's prone figure on the screen.
Varcus leaned back with a satisfied and proud smile. While a bit temperamental at some times, his son was an accomplished warrior.
He had personally made sure of that.
"The prince's prowess is also commendable," Cooler remarked. Inside his head, ideas had already begun to form.
Taking the prince as the strongest — as per the foolish king's words — he could gauge an estimate of the empire's strength.
Once done, one of the thorns, in his journey to conquer the cosmos, would be removed. After all, he only needed an estimate with a brute like Broly at his beck and call.
The Saiyans would come next.
"I am aware as well as proud," The king voiced smugly.
This bastard will be first. The prince of the Cold empire decided at that moment.
Cheers were being thrown around. Still, for the sake of it, Kardon asked. "Are you done, yet?" While looking at the prone smoky figure.
His answer: the Saiyan slowly raised his torso on his forearms.
Silence immediately befell the arena.
The prince rolled his eyes. "Well, get up. I don't have all day just for you," Remarking, he crossed his arms.
Slowly, Son Gohan again stood up. A couple of small gashes had appeared on his torso. He grabbed his torn gi and ripped it apart. "It seems I am my father's son, after all, hehe."
Kardon blinked. "… While I am unable to see how, but I am glad our duel helped you discover your parentage."
"Eh…" The son of Goku also blinked before realization dawned on his visage. Cheeks turning red due to embarrassment, he sheepishly began rubbing his head. "I didn't mean it like that."
"…"
"My father… he has this habit of holding back till the last moment; guess I take it after him."
"… Okay. So, now you're not going to hold back?"
"No," Replying, Gohan released a breath. Immediately, his aura appeared with a burst, hair spiking even further as arcs of electricity began flashing around him. "This is the level beyond Super Saiyan."
"Good to know. Let's get it done."
Though feeling a bit off at having been dismissed so casually, the demi-Saiyan blurred in response to the Prince.
The warriors clashed again.
The prince, having already decided to finish it for once and all, struck with a fist, sure that just like earlier, the Saiyan wouldn't be even able to react.
However, his eyes narrowed as the attack was dodged by a simple tilt of head. At the same time, a punch came at his own stomach.
Kardon raised his knee and blocked the attack, a shockwave ensuing from the point of impact.
Opening the raised knee, the prince kicked the elbow of the Saiyan with his foot, unsurprised when again it was dodged.
A leg came at him from the right. He ducked under it, falling backwards while bringing his legs upwards. Pulling them a bit, he double-kicked the now back-facing Saiyan.
The legs passed through the strange apparition. Air was displaced as a punch came from below him towards the back of his head while he was still horizontal in the air.
He bent his torso forwards, dodging the attack while back kicking the Saiyan who calmly blocked it with a palm.
Both the warriors continued to exchange a flurry of attacks, flashing at several places at once. They tried speed, strength as well as various maneuvers.
Small Ki attacks were thrown and extinguished or dodged.
Yet, nary an attack landed successfully.
Every punch was either dodged or parried as was every kick. Maneuvers were outwitted and ki attacks were swatted away or parried.
Several minutes passed like that.
Gohan brought his left hand as a punch while Kardon did the same with right. Their eyes met and both halted at the same time.
Gazes taking in the similar attacks and both already sure of the dodges that would ensue, the warriors slowly brought their hands down.
Relaxing, both floated backwards, putting distance between them.
"Eh… they're alright?" Erasa muttered, confusion apparent on her face. Both the warriors were unharmed as they were before their bout of battle.
Videl also found herself in agreement. From what she had learnt from Tien, the strongest on the planet were capable of attacking several thousands times in a span of few moments.
Both the fighter's relatively unharmed appearances directly indicated that neither had been able to hit each other.
This worried her. But at the same time, she felt tired, really tired now. She just wanted all this to get over.
C'mon Gohan!
"A final attack; what do you say, Prince Kardon?" Gohan asked the redhead. Melee attacks hadn't worked, after all.
For the first time, the demi-Saiyan had found an opponent who had similar physical battle prowess. He hadn't been able to land a single attack; at the same time, neither had his opponent.
Kardon simply nodded and raised his right hand, finger slightly bent inwards, while grabbing the wrist with his left hand. A red orb flickered into existence and slowly began growing.
The demi-Saiyan, on the other hand, slightly bent his knees mid-air and brought his fingers to forehead. No later, strings of energies, of multitude colors, from all directions, began converging towards his fingers.
The red orb growing to the size of a space pod, the prince took a breath. "KaosuKyu!" The orb pulsated for a bit before leaving towards the Saiyan.
Gohan watched calmly as the sphere quickly covered half the distance. Then, he also took a breath. "Makankosappo!" And thrusted his fingers towards the incoming sphere.
The beam struck the orb, a shockwave ensued rattling the entire arena and pressing the onlookers to their seats.
For a moment, a stalemate followed before the orb began inching forward.
Kardon smirked.
But it quickly vanished when he realized his orb had shrunk a bit.
As if that was the cue, the Saiyan's beam pierced through the orb, the sphere dissipating into wisps of red energy.
The beam crossed the distance instantly, reached his palm but deviated at the very last moment.
A searing pain drew his attention towards just below the small finger, where a thick gash had appeared. He didn't need anyone to tell him that the beam would have pierced his hand.
Or any other part of his body for that matter.
"The strongest piercing attack, I have come to know," Gohan voiced, lowering his hand while drawing the attention of the prince. "You didn't have any intention to kill; neither did I. As far as I am concerned, there is no bad blood between us."
Taking another glance at the cut on his hand, the prince slowly began descending.
The demi-Saiyan followed.
Landing, the redhead closed his eyes. A moment passed. Then, with an audible sigh, he nodded while opening his eyes. "Still, as per rules, the Eastern Empire relinquishes any claim on the human known as Videl Satan."
"Prince Kardon?"
The prince looked towards the floating prime minister. "There is nothing wrong in admitting defeat, Minister-san; you taught it yourself. Declare the duel."
A moment passed.
Then, the prime minister nodded. "Very well. By virtue of authority granted to me, I, the prime minister of Eastern Empire, declare the duel to be in favour of Son Gohan!"
The son of Goku grinned and immediately looked towards the balcony, flashing a thumbs up to the girls.
Erasa immediately hugged the raven-haired girl, jumping up and down happily. Videl also wiped her eyes.
A smile on her face, she felt intense emotions within her being but above all, there was gratitude that the son of Goku was there in her life.
Fingers rapidly pressing keys, eyes took in the hologram that zoomed in the solar system before halting on the planet named '4032-877'.
Approving the command, Gohan popped his neck while turning around, and blinked.
Erasa and Videl stood, curiosity blatant on their visages.
The demi-Saiyan smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. "Uh… you must have questions?"
Videl raised an eyebrow, clearly saying 'Well, Duh!' while Erasa giggled. "Of course, silly."
Out of the corner of his eye, the demi-Saiyan watched as their surroundings blurred implying their movement.
Yet, there was nary an effect on them inside the ship. Glad, they gave us the ship. Bulma can definitely make a lot out of this. "So, I hope you are not angry?"
"I am not angry, Gohan-kun. Yeah, your identity was a surprise but honestly, I already had a hunch."
"A hunch?" Gohan asked, tilting his head at the raven-haired girl.
Videl nodded. "The idea began to form after I met you as Bardock and visited crane school. It were small signs actually: the way Tien spoke about your hard life—how you shouldn't have to go through all that."
"Then, your father's death at the time of cell games amongst other things; the only thing I needed was an actual proof," She finished with a small smile.
Nodding, the spiky-haired teenager looked at the blonde girl. "And you, Erasa?"
"Me? Angry at you?" The buxom blonde giggled. "Not in this lifetime, silly."
The demi-Saiyan sighed in gratitude. "So, what do you want to know?"
The girls shared a glance before Videl took a breath. "If you don't mind, everything."
"Wow! It's one thing watching the planet on the internet and a totally different sight with my own eyes," Erasa whispered, taking in the blue planet.
"Yeah, it's beautiful," Gohan replied. "Something worth dying for."
Videl glanced at the demi-Saiyan beside her. The sheer love he had for the planet was awe-inspiring.
From his life events, it was already established that if he died in a battle, there wouldn't be a planet anymore.
You don't have to answer me now. Next time we meet…
She already had her answer now.
Soon, the clouds parted and greenery, a lot of greenery, became visible.
The blue-eyed girl glanced at the Saiyan beside her. "We are not going to Cc?"
"We are," Gohan replied. "Cc's space wing is in the Ox kingdom."
Videl nodded.
Soon, the mountains became visible and only a couple of minutes later, the Ox castle.
"Goten… that's nimbus," Erasa muttered in awe, despite seeing the cloud for the second time, currently being rode by the chibi brother of Son Gohan.
"And, that's Trunks — Bulma's son," Gohan waved at the boys. Then, his gaze went towards the ground. "Whoa, everyone's here."
The girls followed his gaze and their eyes widened. Sans Goku, every member of the Earth's special forces was there. There were some new faces too.
The ship landed and the metallic door opened. Gohan stepped out and was immediately assaulted by two chibis. Laughing and hugging them, the elder son of Goku looked at both. "Did you behave?"
"Uh huh," Goten was quick to nod his head. "But we were really worried about you. Mom and me and Bulma-san and Piccolo-san and—"
"Did you really defeat a fuckin' empire?!"
"Trunks!"
Eyes going wide in fear, the purple-haired Saiyan looked pleadingly at the elder demi-Saiyan. "Gotta go?"
Gohan relented at that look. "Just this time."
Nodding frantically, and with a burst of energy that made the teenager lose his hold, Trunks took off towards the skies.
"Me too! Me too!" The chibi Goku exclaimed loudly.
The elder son of Goku shrugged. "But promise not to learn new words from Trunks?"
Goten quickly nodded and was let go. He immediately jumped over the nimbus cloud and chased after his friend.
Chuckling, Gohan looked towards the group only to be smothered by his mom. Softly smiling, despite feeling embarrassed, he didn't resist.
She already had a lot on her plate.
Then, Chichi stepped back and crossed her arms.
The strongest person on the planet immediately gulped.
"What were you thinking young man when you denied Shenron?"
"… Uh…"
"Do not give me that. You know–" The Ox princess halted when Bulma put a hand on her shoulder.
"Cut him some slack, Chichi," The Cc heiress smiled at the teenager. "We both know he's not gonna stop the social work."
Chichi opened her mouth, paused and then slumped with a heavy sigh.
"Videl."
The raven-haired girl looked away from the scene, towards the owner of the voice. "Master!" And quickly bowed.
"Are you alright?"
"Hai," She replied, nodding gratefully. "But, I definitely need to step up my training."
"Sure," Tien nodded with a smile.
"And, you, Erasa?"
The blonde blinked hearing her name. Truth be told, she had been feeling a bit awkward as everyone knew Gohan and even Videl to some extent.
But Bulma Briefs herself asking about her well being… A huge smile full of awe appeared on her face. "I am fine, Bulma-san! Thank you for asking!"
The Cc heiress flashed the blonde a charming smile.
Happy at finally together with his family and friends, Gohan took in everyone. Aside from his family, there was Kuririn standing beside Android Eighteen holding Maron. Tien was there but without Chiatzou. Master Roshi was intensely gazing at Bulma, he blinked in confusion. Then, followed his gaze.
Cheeks turning red, he immediately averted his gaze from the women's chest. Again, he blinked, as his gaze had landed on a figure he hadn't expected even a bit.
Android Seventeen. Surprised, he only nodded at the black-haired man who replied in kind with a smirk. Piccolo was also—
"Brat!"
The harsh voice cut through the cheerful atmosphere as well as his thoughts. Silence immediately ensued.
The Saiyan prince stepped forward, a frown on his face.
Just a glance made Videl realize why the Saiyan Prince commanded respect. Despite his relatively short stature, there was this certain aura about him that invoked fear induced respect.
"Vegeta?" Gohan tilted his head.
"Details. Now."
Slowly, the demi-Saiyan nodded and began.
"Wow," Krillin weakly chuckled. "Frieza's brother advocating for peace?! Who would have thought?"
"Foolish human," Vegeta barked, effectively making the monk cower. "Clearly that lizard bastard was playing them."
"He might be different—" Videl halted as the Saiyan prince leveled her with a glare so intense, it made a shudder run through her spine.
"You don't know them, girl. Every known arcosian in the last millennium has been a tyrant, and I can bet my pride that Cooler is playing safe for the time being."
"I have to agree with Vegeta," Piccolo also stepped forward. "Clearly he is aware of the strength of Saiyans. Further, due to the battle, our planet no longer remains a backwater one."
"The southern quadrant," Vegeta took over. "It's a place which even Frieza was wary of dealing with. Sooner or later, someone will make an appearance; we must prepare."
The atmosphere turned gloomy. Nervous glances were shared around as every battle of the past resurfaced. Those dreadful moments, death flashing before the eyes—
"Aww! That's too bad! I really wanted to fight one of those guys!"
Minds coming to a screeching halt, those who knew, immediately recognized the voice that had never failed to inspire hope.
"G-goku-san…?"
"Hey, Chichi. You're as beautiful as ever!"
Eyes widening, Chichi opened her mouth and fainted.
A chuckle was heard.
"You have grown, Gohan."
"Dad…" Tears began to form in the eyes of the demi-Saiyan. Seven years were a long time.
"Everyone—"
"Get over it, Kakarot!" Vegeta growled, looking at the skies. "Why are you calling from the grave?"
"Geez! Vegeta! Have some patience."
There was a pause.
"You're right though. Everyone! I am coming back for a day. The Kais have this rule: after seven years, the world's saviors can take a day off."
Glances were exchanged only for a moment before cheers erupted. Bulma began crying, holding onto Kuririn who was also sniffing. "Goku!"
"Finally!" A maniacal grin appearing on his face, the Saiyan prince clenched his fist. Golden aura bursted around him and his hair turned golden. "I will defeat you, Kakarot!"
"I look forward to it, Vegeta. Anyway, the day is two weeks from now. See you then, bye bye."
A moment passed.
Everyone started cheering, hugging and laughing with each other.
When with him, you get this weird feeling that everything's gonna be alright even if it's the end of the world.
The words resurfacing, Videl saw as everyone, previously gloomy and worried, was now rejoicing as if a threat to the planet hadn't just been announced.
She glanced at the demi-Saiyan, watching his now carefree visage as if a burden had been lifted off his shoulders. Son Goku… I am definitely going to meet you.
A smile slowly appearing on her face, she ambled towards the demi-Saiyan. Tugging on his arm, as he looked, she motioned towards the other side.
Not waiting for his answer, She walked away.
"Videl-san?"
The blue-eyed girl turned around, facing the confused boy. "Remember, you asked me to have an answer next time we meet?"
Gohan tilted his head, lost for a moment before his eyes widened. Surprised, he nodded.
"Yes."
"Yo-you have it?"
"Yes."
"Then, you gotta… tell me?"
"Yes," She replied with a little force this time.
"… What is it?"
Videl facepalmed, not knowing whether to laugh or groan at his cluelessness. "Yes, you dork! My answer is yes!"
Immediately, the demi-Saiyan's face brightened and Videl's heart fluttered. A feeling of contentment arose that she had done the right thing.
The spiky-haired boy, while rubbing the back of his head, opened his mouth but felt a feeling equivalent to a feather's touch on his cheek. Only a moment later, he realized the girl had kissed him.
Red immediately bloomed on his face and he found himself frozen.
"I am quite tired from this ordeal; give me a day or two, then we are gonna have our first date, alright?"
Gohan could only nod dumbly.
Giggling, Videl walked away.
So, that's that.
Hope you enjoyed it.
Do Review.
Yeah, Goku's coming back! But it will be just slice of life stuff, not the whole Buu ordeal. Goku will come and spend a day with his family and friends.
