There was nothing 2D would rather be doing on his birthday than waking up and realizing he was running late for work. He jumped out of bed, getting tripped by his blanket, and began searching for some close-to-clean clothes. He found his old t-Virus shirt and a pair of jeans. Sliding those on, he didn't even bother to look at himself in a mirror, he just ran to the second floor of the house. He paused for a moment and slid Noodle's door open.

The young lady was still fast asleep, like usual. 2D smiled slightly, glad that she was still there. He closed the door and went straight to Murdoc's room. Like several times before, Murdoc popped out of no where and growled at the frontman. For the first time, though, 2D stumbled backwards and fell down the stairs.

"Stupi'..." Murdoc mumbled, before retreating to his room.

2D sighed, a pain now forming in his side from having landed on his phone. He flipped it opened an noticed a birthday text from his mother. Aside from that, he also noticed the time.

"Shi', 'm gonna be la'e!" The singer pulled himself off the floor and spent the next ten minutes looking for his jacket. He stumbled out the front door, then tore down the street to the DMV.

" , what's your excuse this time?" Patty, his boss, questioned as the man reached his desk five minutes too late.

"I, um...woul' ya believe meh if I tol' ya I wus 'it by a bus?"

"I just might, don't let it happen again, Pot." Patty warned before going off to yell at another instructor.

2D groaned and went to grade some papers when he noticed a card from his coworkers on his desk.

'I still don' unders'and why I 'ate these guys,' The singer thought as he opened the card, which just so happened to be a singing card, 'Oh yeah, tha's why..."

Throwing the card aside, 2D put his head down on his desk. Patty reentered his office space.

"Stuart, you have three driving tests for today, you're first client is here now."

"Great." 2D stood slowly and went out back to where the student cars were parked. A twerpy sixteen year old was waiting in the driver's seat.

"Hello,I'-." Before 2D could even introduce himself, the student already had a request to make.

"Can I turn on the radio before we start? I drive better with music."

The singer groaned a bit but nodded, "Wha' eveh floats yer boa', kid."

The driving test began and like promised, the student turned on the radio. 2D paid little attention until the song they were currently listening to (19-2000) ended.

"Tha' was 19-2000, being sung by our frontman 2D and our guitarist Noodle. Speaking of which, 2D turns thirty-six today, happy birthday, faceache. 2D is just about to drive past the dumpy little flat we are reporting live from, he has no idea that his driving student is actually some kid we got to set him up, so dullard, look out your window...NOW!"

Murdoc had his microphone in his hand and was standing on top of Russel's head along with Noodle, who held a strobe light. Russel held a huge sign that said 'Happy Birthday, 2D." scribbled on it. They waved as the man was driven past them, throwing silly sing at the car as well.

2D couldn't keep the smile off of his face for the rest of the day.

Well, until Patty found out about the silly string on the car.

A/N: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STUART!
