The challenge this week is to choose a word that has two different pronunciations but the same spelling... and use it both ways in the drabble. Here is Bow (and bowed) used three times.
Dean hated boats.
He liked the ocean, but from the shore, not from the bow of a rickety, old rust bucket like the HMS Scuttlebutt here.
And Sam just made it worse, yelling at him that his legs were 'too damn bowed' to ever be decent sea-legs like his longer straighter ones had, irritatingly enough, proved to be.
So Dean groaned, adopting a sharp bow at the waist as he waited to see if his breakfast made a reluctant re-appearance, all the while contemplating whether he should just end his misery and slip quietly into Davy Jones' Locker.
