Ahh, I'm so sorry for the delay! I'm obviously a terrible updater haha! :P It took me awhile to write this chapter, I blame the lack of creativity but eh, also some procrastination. So, anyways, I hope you enjoy! Thank you all for the feedback, it's awesome to read. :)
I DO NOT OWN PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN, I only own my OC's!
Katherine thrashed wildly, she would not go down without a damn good fight. "Let me go!" she screamed, pounding against the pirate's back. Her head, in response, was thrown against something causing pain to radiate through her cheek. That didn't stop her.
She elbowed him in the neck causing him to stumble; she slid from his arms and ripped the sack off her head. She was met with two bewildered sets of eyes. She then threw a punch at one of them and took off down the gangplank. She could hear them hollering after her.
She had to get out of there, fast. She had no weapons to fight and she wasn't strong. She had to find Sparrow. She glanced back to see them hot on her heels. Katherine felt fear claw its way up to her throat, sizzling there urgently.
It was late at night so many people walking the streets didn't pay attention or were too drunk to. In the distance was a lit up tavern, Jack had to be in there. Katherine pushed her legs to go faster but she had never ran so much and she was losing speed.
She screamed as someone grabbed her by the hair, yanking her back onto the ground. Now her head ached. Hot tears jumped to her eyes but she refused to cry. "Get off me you bloody pirate! Get away!" she screamed trying to claw his hands but he slapped her. She gasped in pain, seeing only bright lights now.
The young woman, now teetering on the edge of consciousness, could hear them muttering to each other. "Bitch," one of them venomously hissed.
"C'mon, we got ta get 'er ta the ship,"
"The damn lass punched me in the face!"
"Stop yer bitchin', cap'n is waitin,"
She felt them lift her up and throw her over a shoulder. She grimaced, her head was pounding with pain. Her eyes opened a bit but the light around was too much so she closed them. A scream echoed through the night, the sound assaulted her ears harshly.
"Katherine!" she recognized the voice as June's.
Her eyes snapped open despite the agony; her vision was blurry as she saw her horrified governess. But the pirates started running as June ran into the tavern, probably to get help.
Katherine went in and out of darkness as she was jostled around, she could hear more yells coming from the tavern. She lamely tried to beat the back of the pirate who carried her but it was no use.
They ran up onto another ship, one she noticed that was not the Black Pearl. Many shouts were heard now, there was energy everywhere, people running around, the sound of a ship sailing away.
Katherine was discarded on the floor with a heavy thud, her body slid into the side of the ship. She groaned trying to find a way to get up, her head was swirling and just wouldn't allow it. She laid there without moving, her breathing was resounding in her head. Her vision was dulling, blackness invaded, and suddenly she was diving into the comfort of unconsciousness.

June hurried to find Jack, she was searching frantically. Katherine, kidnapped, need help. Her mind was racing and her heart was about to fail. She then spotted him buried beneath the giggling barmaids, rum in hand.
"Captain!" she scrambled over to him. Gibbs stood with concern on his face. He reached for June but she brushed him away.
"Hmm?" Jack had a lazy smile on his face. "Somethin' the matter June?"
"It's Katherine! She needs help! Two men are taking her away! Please," June felt the tears sliding down her face but didn't acknowledge them.
Jack was up instantly, all the women grumbled but before they had time to protest anymore he was out the door.
June collapsed against the table. "June!" Gibbs gasped, holding her in his arms.
"No, not now," she whispered in a breathless voice. "I have to help," she tried to walk but only leaned further on the first mate.
"Cap'n will get her," Gibbs reassured her. "Just take a seat," he set her down in a chair.
June sniffled "They hurt her, she is hurt! I must go!" she refused to sit and got up. She stumbled a bit to get to the door. She could see Jack's running figure, he disappeared around a corner.
"We must get to the ship and wake the crew," he helped her up and they headed towards the Black Pearl.

Katherine woke up, her vision still fuzzy. In front of her was Captain Jack Sparrow, fighting a handful of pirates himself. She was a little confused to whether she was hallucinating or seeing the real thing.
"Bloody hell," she muttered as her head pounded violently. She slowly tried to get up. She had to help. The young woman grasped the side of the ship and pulled herself up.
They all ganged up on the lone Captain who waved his sword around, probably cleverly perplexing all of them. She stumbled over and picked up a bottle. Her eyes regained focus and she recognized the man who slapped her. She burned with anger, doing her best to walk over to him as he lunged at Jack.
The fiery girl stopped him by smashing the bottle over his head. He dropped unconscious and everyone stared surprise. "Fucker," she spit on him. "Didn't anyone tell you it's improper to slap a lady?"
Sparrow was staring at her with wide eyes. "Well, I think that's our cue," He grabbed her around the waist and went to jump off of the ship but someone landed a punch to his jaw.
Katherine gasped in horror holding onto the barely conscious captain. "Oh no, no," she whispered urgently then looked to the grinning pirates. "Jack you damn idiot," she growled.
"Sorry love," his words were slightly slurred.
She could see a large figure, pushing through the crowd of crew members. She knew he was La Buse. She sighed "We are so dead," she whispered. She could see that they were drifting off from the dock. "Save me later," she then shoved Sparrow from her lap off onto the dock below.
Katherine turned to see La Buse glaring at her. "Seems you're stuck with me captain," she gave a scornful laugh but then the next thing she knew a fist connected hard with her jaw and she was seeing stars once more.

"Holy-" Katherine groaned, her head lolled to the side. "Mother Mary save me," the pain in her skull had to be a sin.
As her eyes opened, she felt like she was spinning in circles. She lazily tried to raise her arms but they wouldn't budge. I'm paralyzed. Panic shot to every end of her. She then noticed her hands and feet were tied to a very uncomfortable chair.
The relief only lasted for a few seconds. Where was she? Then it rushed back to her and she groaned. "Well isn't this just lovely," she muttered to herself.
The air was humid and smelled highly of salt. The room she was in was very dark, with the exception of a small candle in the corner. She was in the brig. She had hoped she wouldn't have to revisit the place anytime soon and there she was sitting in one.
"Hey," a voice, a familiar one at that, spoke up. "You're that girl that Jack was with,"
Katherine felt confusion and shock at the same time. "Lulu?" she gasped.
Lulu then slowly appeared in front of her. "They got you too?" she asked quietly.
"What are you doing here?" Katherine asked as Lulu began to untie her from the chair.
"The damn bastards kidnapped me," she seethed. "They want what Jack stole, and they are gonna trade us for it,"
Katherine sighed as she rubbed her wrists that were now free from the ropes. "Why aren't you tied up?"
Lulu blushed "I didn't put up the fight you did," she smiled, it was small but there. "They said ye could be a danger,"
Katherine snorted "I am, if I could burn this ship down with anger, it would be ashes." She growled.
The young girl gave her a dumbfound look as she untied her feet. "Was Jack hurt?"
Katherine raised an eyebrow "He's fine," she slowly replied. She pretended to observe her wrists further. "What's your interest in him?"
"What?" Lulu sputtered.
The older of the two narrowed her eyes "Are you one of his thousands of lovers?" she questioned.
Lulu still had that shocked look on her face, she was silent, pretty much speechless. Katherine had never been so bold to ask about such… affairs. But for some reason she was very curious, and Lulu had been on her mind before the whole mess they were in now.
"Thousands?" was the only thing she echoed.
Katherine felt her anger boil a bit, what was this girl? A dimwit? "Never mind," she muttered. "Doesn't matter either way,"
Lulu finally gained her sense back. "I've never been his, lover, not really." she said.
Katherine gave her a look that could kill. "Hmm, well isn't that reassuring,"
"Jealous?" Lulu growled.
Katherine laughed "Of what? Your undying affection? Of course not, a woman in love is not worth her salt," she stood then regretted it as the room spun. She groaned and sat back down. "I could never love, let alone like, a man such as him. He is insufferable."
Lulu sighed "He is not so bad," she said weakly.
Katherine laughed again, this time less scornfully. "Maybe,"
Lulu gasped then. "Oh Jesus, yer face!"
"What?" Katherine said alarmed.
"It's all black 'n blue!"
Katherine sighed "I suspect it would be, I was hit several times, mind you,"
Lulu grimaced "Sorry,"
Katherine leaned her head back, sighing once again. "When will we do the trade?"
"La Buse said tomorrow," Lulu replied.
No one talked for a little bit. Katherine was trying to gather her thoughts and it quite hard when she could barely focus. She was stuck on La Buse's ship with Lulu, of all the people in the world. She couldn't understand how things like this happened. Truly it is mysterious, she had to sigh in exasperation at that.
Katherine's eyes moved to the girl sitting on the floor not too far away. In the dim light Lulu's hair looked more mousy brown than red and her cheeks were smudged with dirt, along with the rest of her. The girl was skinny with her cheek bones protruding and dress barely hanging on. Based on how she looked it was quite hard to tell her age.
"If you so happen to once had something with Mr. Sparrow," Katherine restarted the conversation. Why on earth couldn't she let it go, well, that just added confusion so she didn't think about it. "How old are you?"
Lulu scowled "I'm nineteen miss, don't think I'm some child,"
Katherine rolled her eyes "Well, you're hardly an adult,"
"Well, how old are you then?" Lulu challenged back.
Her eyes narrowed sharply "I'm twenty, a year older than you,"
"Ye have no room to talk then," Lulu muttered.
Katherine resisted the urge to snort. "You're right, I don't, but I wasn't just suggesting that I was in any way superior to you. I was just observing that Mr. Sparrow must like robbing the cradle," her voice lowered at the last part but Lulu still heard and laughed.
"I never said he liked me back," her voice was soft, tinged with sadness and a bit of bitterness.
"Oh?" Katherine raised an eyebrow at that.
Lulu cleared her throat, obviously uncomfortable "I'd rather not talk about it,"
For some unknown reason, a weight seemed to be lifted from Katherine's shoulders and she hated how relieved she felt. What the hell is wrong with me? "Fine with me," she murmured.
Silence plagued the brig once again. The two young women listened to the commotion above. Must be lunchtime, Katherine also came to that conclusion by the way her stomach growled. She scowled and Lulu suppressed a grin.
"Food'll come soon," she said in an amused tone.
Katherine murmured something along the lines of "Food would be a godsend,"
Lulu chuckled at that, laying her head back against the wall she closed her eyes just a bit so she didn't look like she was openly observing the other girl. She hated to admit it but, she was pretty, no wonder Jack had taken a liking to her. The only problem Lulu saw was a permanent scowl on the girls face. It never seemed to lift, even when she was smiling she still looked like she was grimacing.
Lulu took note that the girl was not wearing Jack's coat, and it lifted a bit of the jealous from the pit of her stomach. Perhaps the girl really did have no interest in the captain. Her eyes then fell to the girl's hands, she was wearing gloves. It clicked in her mind that the last time she saw her she was wearing the same gloves.
"So, um," Lulu hesitantly began. "Do you always wear gloves?"
Katherine visibly stiffened at the question and Lulu began to regret asking it. "I was once taught it was not very proper to pry," her voice was icy and her eyes were colder.
"I-It's just I saw you wearin' them in the tavern too and thought-"
"Perhaps," Katherine interrupted, her tone sharp. "You should mind your own business,"
Lulu felt her own anger boil "Well 'scuse me for bein' concerned," she growled.
"Yes, excuse you," she hissed back.
Lulu had about enough this girls snobby attitude and rude remarks. "Who are you anyway? Just some girl Jack picked up and decided to keep around?"
Katherine laughed at that, it wasn't the nice type of laughter either. "If you would like to call "picking up" kidnapping then yes, your beloved Jack "picked me up"."
Lulu then realized why she was such a tart, because she was actually wealthy. "Well, it makes sense then," she couldn't keep the smug smirk from her face as Katherine raised an eyebrow.
"Oh?"
"Aye," she replied. "That's why you act like such a spoiled tart,"
Lulu could practically feel the rage roll off the other girl but before Katherine could wring her neck the door opened and in walked a man with two bowls. The tension wasn't hard to notice so he left quickly.
Both girls were hungry so they ate in silence. Katherine would kill the girl before she spoke to her again. She just sulked in her chair while Lulu sulked on the floor.

June stood on the deck, her hands clasped tightly, she could see the other ship not too far in the distance. "Oh Katherine," she whispered, her heart clenched a bit.
It was her job to protect her pupil, her job to care for her and now she was gone. She had failed Katherine and her family, in too many ways now. She couldn't stand to think about all the wrong happening.
A hand softly covered her shoulder and she turned to see Gibbs. He had a sympathetic gaze but he quickly turned it out to the sea. "I'm sorry, ye know," he murmured.
"It's not your fault," she reassured him lamely. "It's mine, I should've stayed on the boat with her. I should've-"
"Now, now," Gibbs interrupted with a frown. "Don't go blamin' yerself for everythin',"
June sighed "Katherine has been my responsibility sense she was born," she said quietly. "I just keep failing her, I can't even protect her now," she had to hold tears back. June was never very tough when it came to such situations. Katherine was usually the strong one, telling her to stop being so sensitive.
"I'm goin' to take a guess and say you mean 'er hands?" Gibbs asked and watched as June let her head slump.
"I don't think I will go one day without feeling guilty," she whispered.

Time passed very, very slowly in the brig. Katherine sighed as she listened to the water drip, it had to be a thousandth time. But of course, she would be poisoned before she spoke to the girl in the corner. She still couldn't believe her nerve, if given the chance Katherine would gladly smack her.
Katherine could tell that Lulu was stubborn because she wasn't saying a word either. They wouldn't even glance at each other.
The food wasn't a lot so Katherine was still starving, her stomach protested as the night wore on and she couldn't sleep. The chair was ungodly, it had to be made by the devil himself. How could anyone be comfortable in it?
Katherine squirmed a bit more before drifting off. She had no idea how long she slept, a few minutes, an hour, a day. But she heard the door open and a gruff voice was calling for Lulu. She saw her dark figure get up and disappear out the door.
Unsettled the young woman couldn't go back to sleep and waited until the red-head came back. It wasn't long and she was holding something in her hands. Then a piece of bread hit Katherine's lap.
"Yer welcome," Lulu muttered.
Katherine stared in shock "W-What?"
Lulu sat back down in her corner, digging into the bread. "Are ye gonna complain?" she growled.
"No," Katherine said slowly. "How'd you get this?" she bite into and found it not to stale.
Lulu cracked a bitter smile. "I struck a deal with the captain,"
"Oh," Katherine murmured dumbly.
"Are you gonna call me a whore?" Lulu's voice wasn't harsh just tired.
Katherine thought for a moment. About a month ago she would've been sickened by Lulu's actions, but now she actually admired her bravery. "No, thank you," she replied.
Lulu laughed quietly "Wow, the spoiled tart knows how to say thank you,"
Katherine couldn't help but grin at that. "Surprising?"
"Very," Lulu replied with a smile in her voice.
After cracking a few jokes and finishing their bread both contentedly slipped into a silence, Katherine felt her eyelids become heavy once more.
"La Buse said we would be at our trading spot tomorrow morning," Lulu spoke up once more. "So we need to sleep to get our strength,"
"Hmm? Why do we need strength? It's a simple trade," Katherine replied drowsily.
Lulu smirked "You really think they would just let us go, no," she paused and saw Katherine glance curiously at her. "They're gonna take the treasure and kill us all,"
Katherine frowned "Bastards,"
"Ye shouldn't worry though," Lulu said turning into a comfortable position. "Jack is smart, he knows he's going into a fight,"
Katherine tried not to sour by the girl's unconditional faith in the damn pirate. She twisted in the chair and sighed. "Let's hope you are right,"
We're so dead.
So, whaaat? Lulu's here and Katherine kinda sorta hates her. Well, she had to come back somehow and here she is! Maybe next chapter we'll clear up her relationship with Jack. Anyways, thank you for reading, I really appreciate it! Have a good one! :)
