"I'm going to kill him," I yelled coming out of my trance and storming up to North and Jack, "I'm going to fucking kill him! I swear by Mim!" I then flew straight out of the top of the roof; I could hear the rest of them mumbling each other. I took the long way around North's workshop, and decided I would go see the reindeer in there stables, and I kept my guitar in, so a win-win situation. We not only had reindeer in the stables, but also my horse. He is a grey stallion, I say grey but he looks pure white, he is 16.2hh, with a long flowing mane and tail. His name is Fire.
He was led down in his stall, so I grabbed my guitar out of the pile of hay and led down next to him, with my head rested on his belly. He was made by my brother to keep me company, and he is stuck at the forever age of 7. I played different songs on my guitar, strumming different and random things on it, earning whinnies from Fire.
"but even if the stars and moon collide, I never want you back into my life, you can take your words and all your lies-" a bucket was kicked over, making me stop my singing and strumming, I silently placed my guitar back in the hay and picked up my staff. Fire was already stood up, towering over my 5'3" structure, I snuck up behind the stall door. I quickly opened it jumping out pointing my staff at whoever was there.
"wait! Wait, it's just me I mean no harm" it was Jack, I relaxed my stance, "you have a lovely voice" he said smirking at me. I pushed my staff into his stomach "careful Frostbite" I turned around shutting Fire's door, and giving him a pat. "so urm, you and Pitch looked close" Jack said rubbing the back of his neck. I groaned "let's just get back to the globe room, we need a plan."
I began to walk away, but Jack grabbed the top of my arm, my star turned blue. What? And I could see by the colour of his hand that his temperature had begun to warm up, we looked each other square in the eye. There was a sudden connection, I couldn't understand, so I shrug his hand away. My star took longer than normal to turn back to its normal bright yellowy colour. I took off flying straight to the globe room, followed closely by Jack. "ahh calmed down now Star" North said cheerfully, "I am always calm" I replied with a massive fake smile on my face, North laughed. North, Bunny, Tooth and Sandy stood by the control panel, while Jack and I stood by the fire place across from them.
"we need plan, and you are part of it Star," North said seriously, my face dropped, "we need to find out what Pitch is planning"
"but what if he is not planning anything at all," I replied "I mean come on we have just received a new guardian he could just be wanting to see who it is, because I know what your plan is going to mean North" Jack looked confused, but Tooth, Bunny and, obviously, Sandy stayed quiet. "But our plans always work Star" North walked into the middle of the room, trying assert his authority, and I walked to meet him in the middle.
"wait, what plan? I kinda feel left out of the loop here guys." Jack's voice came from behind, and everyone looked at him except me. I couldn't, that connection earlier, I didn't want to tell him what North's plan had meant, I looked down. "Star" North's quiet voice came. I went to walk out of the room, getting angrier by the second.
"hello? am I invisible?" Jacks voice became louder trying to get everyone to listen. I stopped, I turned looking him straight in the eye. "They mean to use me, to seduce Pitch because they think that he has a massive plan to make the children stop believing, even though that is most likely not true. Then in the end most of the time, Pitch ends up bedding me." A tear ran down my face as I spoke, Pitch was not kind in bedding me, and he often hurt me when he found out that I was not really coming back to him. Yes these plans worked though, and with that I turned and headed away from the globe room, and back to my room.
