I apologize for how long it's taken me to get to the second chapter, but here it is! Yeah, it's a bit depressing, but hey...that leads to angst and steamy make up sex later, right? ;D Anyways, I still love to hear reviews so don't be afraid to leave me some! I hope this is as good as everyone was hoping it to be.
For a moment, Isaac didn't know what more to do than to sit there like a broken toy. Staring up at the man he'd once called his boyfriend, his lover, Isaac was at a loss for words. "Scott, what the fuck?!" Inching away, hand still grasping his shoulder, Isaac only hoped that the healing process would allow for the wound to heal properly. Glancing to his wound, he watched as it had already started to heal, momentary relief consuming him before watching as Scott took long, sadistic strides in his direction.
"Get the hell away, Scott. Don't you come near me." Holding his palm out as if the force would stop the alpha male, Isaac watched as the teen's body suddenly stopped as if frozen in time. Black, empty eyes stared at Isaac for a moment before the teen's body swiftly turned on the balls of his feet, making his way toward the front door. I can't let him get out and wreak havoc. Thoughts raced through Isaac's mind as he quickly scrambled to his feet, trying to ignore the throbbing pain in his shoulder.
A loud growl sounded from his chest, challenging the once alpha male. Whatever he was now seemed to be almost twice as strong as Isaac. He knew that if he were to pick a fight with this monster, he'd surely lose if he were to allow for it to continue for too long. Taking a few bold steps forward must have alerted the hollow teen; his body slowly turning back in Isaac's direction. As the dark eyes met Isaac's baby blue's the tanned teen's head tilted to the left as if taking in every aspect of the male.
A sinking feeling consumed Isaac as he prepared several different scenarios in his mind. He has to stay in the house. Clenching his hand into fists, Isaac took a stance to prepare himself for whatever attack may come. He needed to get one swift hit in and call it quits. There was no way in hell he was going to be able to defeat whatever was within Scott. Isaac could only assumed that if he were to hurt whatever was in him, he would hurt Scott in return.
As the demonic male charged in Isaac's direction, he tried to calculate how to dodge the attack. Before he knew it, however, he was flying through one of the walls. Scott's shoulder had slammed into Isaac's chest, leaving him breathless for a short amount of time as he finally fell onto the ground after flying through the first wall. A loud groan sounded from Isaac's lips, rolling onto his side as he let out breathless cough's, seeing the crimson liquid spill from his lips.
Hearing something drag along the floor, Isaac lifted his head up as much as he could while still trying to gain his breath, only to see Scott preparing for a second round. Crab walking away from the teen, Isaac tried to get to his feet. Again, the demonic being was too fast for him and quickly grabbed at his ankle. Forcing the blond to slam into the ground, a loud cry of pain sounded as the feel of his collar bone snapping had reverberated through his upper torso.
The cry of pain seemed to please the teen as a sadistic smirk took hold of his lips. "I brought you something really special, baby." The raspy voice sounded, escaping Scott's lips once more. The nearly beaten down, suffering severe pain wondered what the hell the demon could possibly have for him. "Oh yeah? Is it you going back to hell?" His snide comment only forced a wider smirk to take hold of the teen's lips as a dark laugh sounded. "Don't you wish that would happen." As the raspy voice sounded, Isaac pulled his attention away at the sight of the darker male pulling something from his pocket.
Now simply horrified, Isaac bit at his lower lip; the copper tasting liquid fell into his mouth as he did so. Cringing at the taste, Isaac gave a cry of misery after catching sight of what was in his former lover's hand. A silver bullet like the one that had apparently poisoned Derek so long ago was now beginning to press against Isaac's forearm, the burning already starting. A loud cry of help sounded from the blond, squirming beneath the male's grip.
"Scott, please! I know you can hear me! Stop!" He wouldn't cry, he wouldn't. He was going to put on a brave face to show Scott that he could fight, but he still needed his damn boyfriend's help. "Scott!" The garbled cry reverberated off of the kitchen walls as he felt the bullet finally penetrating the rough flesh by extreme force. Crumbling further against the floor still, Isaac continued to wiggle and squirm beneath this attacker's touch. "Scott, please!"
The wolfsbane embedded within the bullet was now released as Scott had cracked the shell open with great will. As the poison coursed through Isaac's veins, he called his boyfriend's name several times over before everything went black. Suddenly, there was nothing but darkness. It was the kind of darkness that would often scare Isaac, make him have panic attacks, but he knew that this darkness was no different from the darkness he faced every time he closed his eyes.
That was it; he was asleep.
Watching the blond go still, something finally broke within Scott's mind. Something snapped, and it was like he was waking up from a horrible dream. In this dream, however, Scott soon realized that the crimson liquid that was pouring down over his hand, fingers now nearly embedded within the other's flesh, was too real to be a dream. The black veins that were starting to spider up over the teen's arm…it was all too real and that was when things snapped into place for Scott.
"No…no, no, no, no. What did I do? Isaac? Isaac, talk to me. Tell me what I did!" He couldn't remember anything. The only thing he remembered was hearing Isaac's voice, hearing it guide him through his own darkness and now? Now Isaac was slowly dying and if Scott didn't act fast, Isaac would die. Quickly pulling his hand from inside Isaac's arm, he tossed the broken bullet aside, taking a moment to stare at the object in awe. I did this….I'm killing him!
With the dawning reality setting in, Scott quickly pressed his hand back on top of Isaac's arm to try and stop the bleeding. Fumbling for the phone in his pocket, Scott attempted to unlock the device, smearing blood all over the surface. He could only assume that the blood wasn't even his, it was that of his boyfriends. And the worst part was that he only hoped his mother didn't come home any time soon to witness such events.
Quickly dialing Deaton's number, Scott waited for the man to answer before frantically crying into the phone, "Come to my house now! Isaac..he's..he's dying! I almost killed him, please come. HURRY!" With a few soothing 'okay's', Scott knew that Deaton was well on his way. Tugging the blond into his arms, he held the male in his lap, rocking back and forth with the teen as tears fell from his cheeks. "Oh shit, I'm sorry Isaac. I'm so sorry. I don't…I don't know what happened. Isaac, don't leave me. Don't you fucking leave me."
Hearing the front door slam open and hurried footsteps scram through the house, Scott knew who had arrived. Effortlessly lifting Isaac in his arms, he held his boyfriend tight against him, slowly turning toward the sound of the hurried footsteps. His tear stained face had a look of panic as Deaton's shocked expression said it all. "Please, please help me…" Whimpering to the man, Deaton quickly aided Scott into getting Isaac in the car.
Finding his way to the passenger side, the alpha teen silently climbed in, eyes never leaving Isaac's limp body. "Please, Isaac…stay with me." He cried out, Deaton's words just barely registering in his confused mind. "I don't know what the hell you were thinking. We'll get him fixed, don't worry. But what I'd like to know is how this all happened." Nothing. That was all Scott could come up with. He didn't know what had happened himself.
All they could do now would be to get the poison out of Isaac before taking him to the hospital. They would then have to question him, see what had happened exactly. What really troubled Scott, however, was whether or not Isaac would wake up…and love him.
