One.

Jack had strolled out early one morning from the hub to pick up some coffee. Just as he was starting out, Ianto appeared before him, cup in hand.

"Coffee, Sir?"

Surprised, Jack took the cup and took a sip. It was quite exquisite. Much better than the slop the local shop provided.

Oddly enough, he felt a slight twitching in his trousers. That was strange. He'd never been turned on by coffee before. Perhaps it was the man. Ianto did look damn fine in a suit.

Two.

Jack was frustrated. More weevil attacks and they couldn't get the resurrection glove to work for more than a few seconds. To add to his frustration, the rain was pouring down, and that nosy policewoman was still hanging around.

"Here Sir. Drink this before you catch cold."

Ianto handed him a cup. Jack drank, welcoming the warming sensation the coffee brought to his body. He stopped, surprised at the taste. Ianto had slipped in a little cherry brandy for extra warmth as a special treat. Jack smiled. Ianto never shared his brandy with just anyone.

Three.

Jack couldn't believe it. He was actually feeling hung over. The crew had gone out drinking the night before to celebrate Tosh's birthday. Somehow, he managed to drink more than his usual amount and now he was paying the price.

"You look like shit Jack." Ianto said with an amused expression.

"I feel like shit." Jack answered, giving Ianto a rueful smile. "Any coffee?"

"Of course Sir."

Four.

Jack woke up to the seductive scent of coffee floating in the air. He looked around, dazed for a moment as he tried to remember where he was. He was not at the hub. Then it came to him. He was at Ianto's. Last night had been the first time he stayed over with him. He searched the floor for his discarded boxer shorts and slipped them on. He padded downstairs, and made his way to the kitchen.

"Good morning Jack. Sleep well?"

"Yes, almost too good. Forgot where I was."

Ianto looked delightful, wearing nothing but Jack's button down shirt, frying bacon and eggs. Ianto paused in his cooking long enough to bring Jack a cup of coffee and the morning paper with a kiss.

Five.

Jack stood alone at the tardis control panel. Martha and the Doctor were off somewhere. It didn't matter. Right now Jack didn't care about anything. He was just trying to hold himself together so he didn't just collapse into madness and grief.

Looking down at his side, he saw a cup of coffee. Martha must have brought it, or the Doctor. Yet Jack had the feeling that if he looked sideways, he'd see Ianto. Ianto in a glowing white Marks and Spencer's suit and gossamer wings.

"Oh Ianto." Jack whispered.
