John was arrested
Stella called the paramedics as she rushed to Jess who was now bleeding heavily and unconscious
She moved out of the way as Jess was put on a stretcher and take to the ambulance
At the precinct Flack saw John arrive
What's he doing here he thought she decided to think no more about it and phoned Jess
Only Jess didn't answer it was Stella and she told him what had happened and the others were on their way there
Flack found John in the integration room and there was no officer outside and no one believed John as Flack gave him a smack around the chops and then went to tell the caption what had happened
At the hospital the rest of the team was there
Stella said that they suspected Jess had a broken hand some broken ribs and they weren't sure about the gunshot wound yet and she was still in surgery
Flack sat down
This was all his fault
Stella knew what he was thinking and went to comfort him
"it's not your fault" said Stella
Flack could fell tears rolling down his face
8 hours later
Jess was out of surgery and put into a private room every one took it in turns to see Jess
Danny and Lindsay went first then Mac Stella and Hawkes went
After they had gone Flack quietly slip into the room
And sat in the chair
Jess was pale and looked broken
He grabbed her hand and kept saying it was his fault
He said John wasn't going to come near her again
He kissed her head and fell into a deep sleep
