Lilly's POV
When the small family finally made it through the barrier lilly potter caught sight of a brilliantly red headed boy, who, like herself, was looking at his older sibling in adoration as she showed Albus her new Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry robes. Lilly felt a pang of jealousy as she saw how excited the two seemed to be. Only two more years she told herself, then I'll be the best player on my quditch team, maybe I'll even be as good as mummy or daddy.
"Lilly guess what! I got to ride in my dad's flying car! Isn't that exciting!" screamed Hugo Weasley, her cousin, interrupting her pleasant reverie. "Oh hi Hugo." She replied with little interest, she was too caught up in jealousy to realize what she was saying.
She watched her brothers and cousin board the Hogwart's express as Aunt Hermione and mummy waved vigorously at them screaming last minute reminder like "don't mess with peeves" or "make sure you say hi to Professor Longbottom for us". She was watching so intently that she didn't notice her father and Uncle Ron approach them from behind.
"Two years from now that will be you two," Harry Potter her father said, gazing at the black locomotive's gleaming, iron door. "Yeah well let's hope their mother's let them go," said uncle Ron, her daddy's best friend, and mummy's brother. "What!" screamed Lilly and Hugo in unison. "Calm down, he's only kidding." Her father reassured them after chuckling at a joke that only seemed to be funny to him and Uncle Ron.
The locomotive's whistle let out a loud screech and the old unoiled wheels left the platform with Lilly and Hugo's jealous eyes glaring at it.
