Notes for All That Has Happened
It hasn't got the ratings yet for production notes, but it's my first sontails in a while, so I thought I'd treat you sontails lovers to a little fun.
First off, it's not really a lemon, so it's just a kiss. But, somehow, I thought it was just as romantic in its simplicity.
Secondly, did you notice the handkerchief Tails thought was sand in the bottle?
"A plastic bottle of milk-white sand lay at my feet, and I bent to lift it up to get a better look at it. When I did, I found it wasn't sand at all. Rather, it was a strange, lacy handkerchief."
That is a reference to Sonic and the Secret Rings (what is it with me, that game, and sontails, exactly?!). Remember Sonic's final wish? "I wish for a mountain of handkerchiefs"!
Also, two lovely references to a sonamy story written by luigi-is-stellar (I think that's how you spell it):
"Someone once told me that the life of a person means everything to a hero, if they're a person lost."
"He [Sonic] was mournful the way he was mournful about Cosmo's death after she…after he felt that he killed her."
That's it! Unless you wanna count the mouse thing as a reference to Une Chambre Foncee:
"Sonic stood, the dead mouse tight between his teeth, and walked back to the bed without once tripping or faltering. As he got onto the bed, I watched in awed horror as, without using his hands, he made the rest of the body disappear into his mouth."
