Prologue
I always thought that life would be simple. You're born, you live for a bit, and then you die. I was wrong.
Ever since I was a small kid I had been, different. What I mean by that is I could see in the darkest dark. I hated to be out on a sunny day...so I always wore long sleeves or hooded jackets. I would love to out in the dark then out in the day. And lastly, when I was four....I was bitten by something.
Everyone tells me it was a dog, but I know they're wrong. I know what bit me, and one word can describe it. Vampire. Now, 13 years later, I still have that scar on the side of my neck. Same shape, same pale color, and its...smoother than the rest of my skin.
Now, here I am, running for my soul away from Nica knows what. My closest friends at my sides.
"Elizabeth, I need to tell you something, before we die." The friend to my left said. I looked at him. What had he decided to wait to tell me, till our death?
"I, love you."
