Prologue:
It was his final adventure that did him in. The man whom kicked off the Era of Heroes. The man who was once known as the 'clown', but was soon enough known as The Dawn of Heroes. A hero by the name many know as The Argonaut. After he'd finished his previous adventure his new one had him venturing around all of Elegia.
A trip that lasted for years before finally he had been surrounded by numerous monsters. He could have escaped. He should have escaped, however. Behind him stood children who he had to save. Children he wanted to make smile even as his hands and arms bled from the fighting.
"Leave" The Clown said opening up a path behind him with a mighty swing of his blade. Knowing of the dire situation the children obeyed his order. Running as fast as their small legs could carry them.
It was there that the Argonaut fought tooth and nail for the children to escape. So their smiles and laughter could live on in the world he loved. Finally the Argonaut was alone.
His body tearing apart as he faced numerous Minotaur in an attempt to let them flee. The creatures cruel in nature tried to follow the smaller prey, however the Clown would never allow it. His blade finally fell when five Minotaur skewered him upon their horns sending his crimson liquid splattering about the ground around him.
"F-Feena… I'm sorry" The Clown said as his consciousness faded. Although blind he felt as the suns rays of warmth slowly faded from his skin. Soon after the blade he'd held fell to the ground as his soul left his body.
Chapter 1: The Clowns Deal
As soon as the Argonaut had fallen into an eternal slumber. No sooner did he awaken to the almost stunning features of a multitude of Gods and Goddess. Two older figures smiled as they lifted the boy to his feet. His face confused as his sight had been returned.
"I-I?" The Argonaut said putting his hand to his eyes. "I can see again?" Argonaut said with a weakened tone. He was over the moon being able to see again, however he knew what it truly meant.
"You've died." A familiar voice said. "I allowed half of your soul to return into the cycle of rebirth, however…" The voice seemed to be coming from Zeus, however in a tone that matched his spirit counterpart Jupiter before becoming the Clowns blade.
"S-so why am I here?" The Argonaut questioned. "What about the kids?" He asked again getting a chuckle from all the gods present.
"A hero even after death" A voice chimed in. "They're safe you have my word." A new god stated. An odd hat covering his ear length hair that seemed to curl at the ends.
"Ahhh." The Clown said falling to his rear. "That's good to hear." He said as his back fell to the ground below. "So. Why is half of my soul here then?" The Clown questioned them without ever looking up.
A hearty laugh boomed from Zeus. "Why to watch of course!" He claimed happily. "I wish for you to see the Era you've brought the world into!" Zeus claimed as he lifted the boy onto his shoulder as if he was weightless.
Not much time later was the Clown placed in a chair watching over the lower world. The time began to proceed without a problem.
It was there that the Argonaut got to see it all. As the Era of Heroes rose, and soon after fell to the Era of Deities. All the while the poor boy was forced to wave off his friends among the gods whom decided to live upon the lower world.
A deep desire built inside of the Clown as the world proceeded on without him. He wanted to go down, and he wanted to be a hero again. His desires reaching the ear of a certain Norse God…..
"So you wish to be reborn?" The god questioned. "As half of a soul… You should know your reincarnation is already inhabiting the world. It would go against ou-" The God Odin began.
"And what about splitting a soul in two? I never agreed to it but Zeus did it anyways! If we're speaking about rules then why don't you guys follow your own!" The Argonaut shot back. He was about done living in the upper world surrounded by Gods he couldn't speak out against less he felt their wrath.
Odin however was different from the other gods. He had great wisdom that allowed him to see past the abnormalities of Godly actions. He was a stickler for the rules, and even was at odds with Zeus about them.
"How about this!" The Clown began. "Send me into the world at seven-teen. That way we can consider the first seven-teen years of my life as an offering for bending the rules!" The Argonaut offered with a crazed look in his eyes.
Odin took a step back. He knew the Argonaut was going through tough times. He'd been trapped in the upper world unable to reincarnate. Unable to leave. At the beck and call of numerous Gods when Zeus or himself wasn't able to fend off the other Deities.
"Your request… It's not unreasonable, but why Argonaut? Why do you wish to go down to Elegia so badly now? The time of Her-" Odin began before he noticed the Argonauts fist shaking and tears slowly coming to the corner of his eyes.
"They… They are so shallow…" The Argonaut managed to spit out. "They kicked out Zeus. Even when his family tried their best to help the world. They banished him for something that wasn't his fault!" The Argonaut screamed. "EVEN ALBERT DIED. YET THEY STILL REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE SACRIFICES THAT HE MADE! THEY DON'T NEED TO BE PUNISHED BY THE GODS THEY NEED A HERO TO SET THINGS RIGHT!" The Argonaut screamed. His shrill and heartfelt words shook the Upper World into a fury.
The Gods whom were watching rallied against their own rules. They rallied against the gods on the lower world as one. In unison they all agreed that the Lower World was desperately in need of a true hero. One who would sway the Lower Realm into an Era of justice once more.
"I agree" A feminine voice called out. A young Goddess whom was sent back to the heavens gave a soft smile.
"P-Phobos?" Odin said a bit taken aback that goddess in particularity was speaking up for the boy. A Goddess whom was known to sow fear into the hearts of people.
"Yes. If you intend to send him down. You should do so when the wool is over the other gods eyes. Perhaps when you send down Hestia you could send the Clown to Zeus." Phobos butted in. She had no fear when speaking to Odin. A trait many others desired, however could never obtain.
"SEE! EVEN PHOBOS THINKS THIS IS WRONG! LET ME HELP THEM! LET ME BE A HERO AGAIN!" The Clown screamed. He couldn't contain himself anymore. He knew that Odin was never swayed easily, however the one eyed God began to let out a booming laugh that silenced everyone.
"So Zeus hasn't told you has he Clown?" Odin questioned casting an eye down towards The Argonaut. Whose eyes shown with determination and no hesitation.
"You'll be sent down when Zeus sends his final child to Orario. It is only then that he will allow what is left of your soul to leave this plane. There will be no further discussion" Odin stated clearly as the Gods around them began to cheer in response a happy cry that echoed throughout the entire upper world.
It wasn't much longer until Hestia descended to the world of Elegia. Her flame lit brightly as she descended waving off The Clown she knew would come and change Orario.
