''what about dad you do you think he would come?'' Rory asks her
''Leland?'' Karen asks her
''yea.'' Rory says
''I...I don't know hun why don't we just leave him out of it he's been seeing a lot more of the woman lately.'' Karen tells her
''who is she...his co-worker?'' Rory questions her
''no h...his girlfriend hun.'' Karen tells her
''What since when!'' Rory says
''a few night's ago when a friend of mine saw them at a restaurant holding hands being all cute and happy and flirty together.'' Karen tells her
''wow does she know that he is married and has a family?'' Rory asks her
''well no since we arn't currently living together right now.'' Karen tells her
''I can't believe that he is seeing his co-worker that's kind of gross.'' Rory tells her
''yea but he's happy and that makes me happy.'' Karen tells her
''well I want him to be happy too.'' Rory tells her
''I know we're good in that department.'' Karen tells her
''so who else are you going to invite?'' Karen asks her
''oh you know just some friends from school and family.'' Rory tells her
''okay cool.'' Karen says
''so what if dad does show up?'' Rory asks her
''if he shows up then he shows up that's cool he's still your dad. Let's just leave it at that okay hun?'' Karen tells her
''okay fine.'' Rory says
''I just hope that he doesn't show up with her.'' Karen tells her
''his girlfriend?'' Rory asks her
''yes she's not the nicest person to get along with.'' Karen tells her

''then she won't be allowed in my house.'' Karen says with a smirk
