Meta-Verse Arc 6: Reality Shift

(In collaboration with Zavoren) The Nazi saga ends here. When different realities are being swept into the Meta-Verse reality, these realities must work with the Meta-Verse Agents to fight off against the Nazis and other formidable foes that will stop at nothing to destroy the multiverse for good. And one robotic AI that wants to unleash a horrible darkness upon the multiverse...

1. Chapter 1: Magical Girl Raising Project

And I'm back with the next arc of Meta-Verse, with another collaborator in mind: Zavoren. He will be with me on writing this arc, so I hope you guys like this one better. Because this should be a blast. In this first chapter, we'll be introducing a new reality that will appear in this arc, and another important character that will redefine Meta-Verse forever. Let's get started, shall we?

London

In London, in the Nazi Headquarters, we see the tyrannical Nazi warlord Irene Engel staring at the Nazi flag in the bridge.

"Meta-Verse. You have caused a great deal of pain in this all. I wanna conquer the world. The multiverse is ours. We want pride. Dignity. Loyalty. Freedom. But, to have freedom, we have to slaughter you all in the Gallows. You fucking heroes. Fuck you all. FUCK YOU ALL!" Engel slams her fist on the table. "We'll show you wrath! We'll show you death! WE'LL SHOW YOU HOW DAMNED PATHETIC YOU ALL ARE!" Engel takes deep breaths to calm herself down. With Meta-Verse defending every world in 5 years already, the Nazis are now being angered by their victories. Engel then looks in the mirror, not happy with the half-bloodied face she has on her ever since the Precure Ruru Amour has cut half her face up. "Soon…you'll all…die."

Space

We then focus on several planets in space.

"Space. Time. Reality. That's what makes up the whole entire multiverse. With each universe living in peace and harmony, but some face their darkest hours. We, the Meta-Verse Department Agency, tries to protect the universes from the Nazis. You think this story starts in our reality. No. It starts in a different reality." Katy Caterpillar narrates.

We then go to Earth.

"In this reality, heroes of the Digital World reside in this reality. And yes, I do mean the DigiDestined and their Digimon. While our reality has quite a few Digimons already, this reality has much more than what we have. Our story begins here." Katy further narrates.

Tokyo

We then head towards Earth-7709, which is the DigiDestined's Earth, where we see a city. Then we focus on our fellow DigiDestined and Digimon.

Tai yawned and stretched as he pushed himself out of bed. His sister, Kari, had already tried to wake him up a few times, but he was a heavy sleeper. His partner, Agumon, was cuddled up beside him and started to wake up as well.

"Tai! Are you up yet?" Kari said from the other side of the bedroom door. "We're not going to meet with the others at this rate."

"I'm hurrying, already," he said. He sounded a little annoyed, but he really wasn't. He couldn't stay annoyed with his sister for that long.

Agumon sniffed the air and smiled. "Smells like breakfast is ready!" he said excitedly.

The two left the bedroom and walked right into the kitchen, where their mom had prepared a hearty breakfast for them. They quickly ate their food and Tai grabbed his digivice from the bedroom. Kari was ready and waiting for him by the door.

"We'll be back in a little while," Tai called to his mother.

"Alright, be careful you two," she said back, and Tai and his sister headed for the park where all the digidestined and their partners were gathering for a brief meeting. As per usual, Tai was late. He and Kari found the others already waiting by the fountain at the center of the park.

"Where were you two?" Sora asked.

"Tai slept in again," Kari said with a chuckle.

Matt crossed his arms and put all his weight on one leg. "Alright, now that we're all here, we should probably discuss what we're going to do about Myotismon."

The Digidestined had finally returned to the real world after their long adventure in the digital world. Myotismon had opened a portal to their world and was already leading his nightmare soldiers into Tokyo. Now the DigiDestined had to figure out how to stop him while keeping their identities and their digimon a secret.

They were about to discuss things about Myotismon, but until a portal has been opened, and then, a giant cube-like ship appears out of the portal.

The kids and digimon stared in disbelief at the strange ship that appeared suddenly before them. "What is that?" Biyomon asked nervously.

"I have no idea," Tai replied. "You think this is Myotismon's doing?"

It then came down close enough to the surface. Afterwards, the ship opens, and metallic robots with human-like appearances come out of the ship and get to the ground. And then one other robot came down as well. She then walks to the kids and digimon.

"I have been reborn. Rebuilt. Renewed. Remade…Revenge…" The robot then raises her hands. The robot is shown to have darker gray skin and has black eyes with no pupils. "I am the Borg Queen. Your resistance is futile. And whatever resistance you have on us…you'll all die. Painfully. And slowly."

"We'll see about that, whatever you are!" Tentomon said. "Super Shocker!" he unleashed a blast of electricity at the robot.

"Let's go," Agumon said, "Digimon attack!"

All the rookie digimon let loose their most powerful attacks at the robot, creating an explosion as they all combined together into one burst of energy.

There was smoke in all this. But, it is revealed that the Borg Queen has absorbed every attack there is. The Borg Queen laughed. "Is this the best you can do?" She then shoots electric blasts out of her hands.

The digimon scattered to avoid the electric blasts. The kids were scurrying about, trying to find somewhere to hide. "This isn't working," Izzy called over the sound of battle. "We're going to have to digivolve."

"We don't have a choice," Tai agreed. "Digivices at the ready, everyone."

Their digivices began to glow and all their partners evolved into their next stages. Greymon, Birdramon, Garurumon, and Ikkakumon did their best to surround the robot while the others stayed back to give them backup.

Izzy pulled out his laptop and opened it. He pulled up his digimon analyzer but, to his horror, no information pulled up on the robot in front of them. "That thing's not a digimon!" he cried out.

"Nova Blast!" Greymon bellowed as he unleashed a massive fireball from his mouth.

"Celestial Arrow!" Angewomon called out as she knocked an arrow of light in her bow and fired. The others also were firing their attacks at the creature, hoping that this would do the trick.

The Borg Queen absorbs the Nova Blast, and she also grabs the Celestial Arrow, then it fades into her hand. "Your resistance is strong. But hell will be unleashed." She turns to her Borg army. "Borgs! Destroy them!"

"Resistance is futile." About 20 Borgs then start the shoot-out, shooting lasers out of their hands, and some of them shooting out of their robotic eyes.

Completely caught off guard and the digimon attempted to fall back. Garurumon and Ikkakumon were hit and de-digivolved back to their rookie stages. Birdramon fired her Meteor Wing at the Borgs, trying to destroy them.

"This isn't working," Tai said. "Greymon, digivolve again!"

Greymon nodded and let out a deafening roar. "Greymon digivolve to… MetalGreymon!"

The newly evolved digimon took a step forward and shouted, "Giga Blaster!" and unleashed twin missiles from the metal plating on his chest, trying to wipe out the Borg Queen and as many of the other Borgs as he could.

"If this doesn't work, then I have no idea what to do," Tai said.

The missiles did wipe out half of the Borgs, but the Borg Queen took the blast, but, unfortunately, she absorbed the missile blast.

"Every attack you do, I absorb. I am…INVINCIBLE!" The Borg Queen then lets out a supersonic scream.

The supersonic scream tore through the park and blasted the digimon. Birdramon, Togemon, Kabuterimon, and Angemon were unable to handle the scream and de-digivolved back to their rookie forms as well. All that stood was MetalGreymon and Angewomon, who just managed to withstand the attack.

"Just what do you want with us?" Sora cried out to the Borg Queen. "Why are you doing this?"

The Borg Queen walks up to Sora, then grabs her in the neck, then lifts her up off the ground. "Irene Engel wants you dead. The Nazis want you dead. Annihilation begins. We, the Nazis, have been through enough. Now, it's our turn to strike back."

"But the Nazis were defeated during World War 2," Izzy said.

Tai began walking over to the Borg Queen and said, "Let Sora go, right now."

The Borg Queen looked at Tai, then smiled evilly. "Oh, is this the one you love, hmm? Oh, don't worry. I'll destroy everything you love. Including you."

But then, a mysterious girl comes out of nowhere and smacks the Borg Queen in the side, freeing Sora.

Sora coughed but pushed herself back up and ran over to the others. They stare at the girl who seemed to be able to actually hurt the Borg Queen.

"Who are you?" T.K. asked the girl while he cuddled the exhausted Patamon in his arms.

The girl then looks at them. This girl has long dark brown hair that is pulled into a ponytail by a silver shuriken-like clip and reddish-brown eyes. She wears a red scarf, black sleeveless top, fishnet-like upper sleeves, black short skirt, black thigh-high socks and brown wooden shoes. "My name is Ripple. And you can call me…a Magical Girl."

The Digidestined stared in awe at the girl. "What's a Magical Girl and how can I be one?" Mimi asked.

"I can't explain it now. Listen, you have to get out of here, now. I'll handle this." Ripple grabs out her katana and stands in a battle position.

"We can't just leave you here alone," Tai said. "MetalGreymon and Angewomon can still fight, too."

MetalGreymon growled and Angewomon flew over beside him, preparing another Celestial Arrow.

"You can't fight her like this. If you do, you'll get yourselves killed. Just get the hell out of here! Now!" Ripple yelled.

"Tai, we're no match for this thing," Matt said. Gabumon was now standing beside him but looking very injured. "We should do what she says and get out of here."

Tai looked back to the Magical Girl and then to the Borg Queen. He gritted his teeth and clenched his hands into tight fists. He hated to admit it, but he was right. Even MetalGreymon's most devastating attack, the Giga Blaster, had no effect.

"Fine, let's go," he said and he and the DigiDestined fled. Tai glanced over his shoulder one more time to watch Ripple as she faced off against the Borg Queen.

"I've known the Nazis all this time. You killed my damned family. Now, you're gonna pay for that." Ripple said.

"Then fight me then." The Borg Queen said. "To avenge your family's death."

Ripple screams in rage and fights off the Borg Queen with her katana. The robot pulls out daggers out of her hands and fights off against the Magical Girl. They kept at it for a while.

The scene switches back to the Digidestined and Digimon, to which MetalGreymon and Angewomon have de-digivolve back into Agumon and Gatomon, as they are running from the battle. But, unfortunately, a purple portal opens underneath them.

The ground swallowed up the Digidestined and their partners and they found themselves tumbling down into a whole new place. All the kids and their digimon screamed as they fell through the portal.

"I knew I should have just stayed home today!" Joe shouted as they fell deeper and deeper into the portal, not knowing just where they would end up.

"In all honesty," Tai thought to himself, "we should be used to going through weird portals…"

Afterwards, the portal closes.

Meta-Verse Department Agency

In a green field, we see Milk Chan putting her headphones on and then listening to the music, while dancing in the field all at once.

She was dancing to the song for a while, until she saw a portal being opened in the sky. She gets her headphones out of her ears and sees this. "Holy fuck nuggets?"

The kids and Digimon fell from the portal in the sky and landed hard on the ground with a loud crash. As far as they could tell, no one was seriously hurt, aside from Tai's bruised pride at having to flee from that fight with the Borg Queen.

Tai was the first to stand and helped Sora and Kari stand up as well. "Well, where do you think we are now?" He asked.

"Wherever it is, I hope it's far away from that Borg thing," Mimi said as she stood up and adjusted her cowboy hat.

Milk then walks towards the kids and digimon. "Well, I should know who the hell you are by now. You are the DigiDestined and their partners, right? Saw you on TV. It was awesome. I'm just rambling."

"The DigiDestined looked to one another in confusion. "You saw us… on TV?" Izzy asked with a gulp. Had their covers been blown already?

"Hey, there," Tai said. "I'm Tai and these are all my friends." He then introduced all the kids and their digimon to Milk. "Who are you, and can you tell us where we are?"

"My name is Milk Chan. And if you guys are about to say I'm a 5-year-old that can't do stuff, trust me, I do shit alright. Oh, and this is the Field of Eternity. This world is…off-world. You can't find it on any map in the multiverse."

Joe pushed up his glasses and stared at her in disbelief. "How in the world did we end up here?"

"And why are we here?" Sora asked.

Milk sighed. "If you guys are actually portal victims, then here's the thing. You've been sucked out of your reality against your will. Someone is trying to take people out of their own reality and into another reality. This happened two years ago, from what I can tell. So, yeah. You guys are stuck here until we find your home."

"Great. Just great," Matt groaned. "So now what do we do?"

"We have to find a way back to Tokyo," Tai said. "That Borg Queen is still running around and we have no idea how that Magical Girl is doing fighting her."

Kari approached Milk Chan and said, "Is there any way you can help us? We have no idea what to do now."

Milk nodded. "The Meta-Verse Department Agency is not that far. It's close by. Follow me. Ask questions when we get there." She then proceeds to take them to the Agency.

As they walked up to the Agency, they stared up at the building in shock. "Prodigious! I never would have guessed something like this even exists," Izzy said.

"What exactly does this Meta-Verse thingy do?" Tai asked.

"I'll let someone else in here explain that to you. Meanwhile, this is a futuristic place. Futuristic in design. It's almost like you're in the future." Milk said.

"If we're in the future, does that mean we can see how we defeat Myotismon?" T.K. wondered aloud.

"I highly doubt that's something they would tell us, kiddo," Matt replied. "In the meantime, let's find someone who can help us out."

"Yeah, let's head inside," Tai said as he led his team up to the doors of the Meta-Verse Department Agency.

Milk then goes up to the doors, then they automatically open. They saw that there was a locker room at the entrance of the Agency. Who is in the room right now is Paiman.

"Got newcomers from another reality. You take care of this." Milk then walks away from them.

Paiman sighed. "Great." He then looks at the kids and digimon. "So. Care to explain what happened?"

"We were meeting up at the park to discuss how to defeat our enemy, Myotismon," Agumon began, "but then suddenly we were attacked by this Borg Queen and her Borg army."

"We tried to fight them off, but nothing we did worked," Sora explained.

"Then all of a sudden this girl named Ripple popped out of nowhere and called herself a Magical Girl," Kari added. "We tried to run while she fought off the Borg Queen, but then we were sucked into this portal that opened up in the ground."

Gatomon shrugged. "That's how we got here."

Tai looked up at the Panda and said, "So, think you can help us out? We really need to get back to our world. Who knows what would happen if that Borg Queen and Myotismon teamed up."

"That's impossible. The Borg Queen's dead. We defeated her like a year ago. But now you're saying she came to your own world? But how?" Paiman then wonders how the Borg Queen is still alive all that time after a girl known as Chapa de Silva, aka Volt, has shot the robot with her electric powers and killed her. At the time, the Borg Queen wasn't invincible then. But now, she has become stronger than ever.

"We're wondering how she got there, too," Sora said. "We've never seen anything like her before."

"If you know about this Borg Queen, then can you tell us how to destroy her before she wipes out our world?" Tai asked.

"It actually depends." Katy Caterpillar crawls onto the bench and crawls to the edge of it to face the team.

"Depends on what?" Izzy asked. "By my calculations, that thing seems invincible."

"What did she say the very first time you saw her?" Katy asked.

"She said something about the Nazis," Tai replied. "But I don't really understand. The Nazi's were beaten in the second world war. And what do they have to do with this Borg Queen?"

"The Borg Queen was originally part of the Nazis that has been revived. Irene Engel, the surviving Nazi, has resurrected some of the dangerous villains to be at her side. They're now new members of the Nazis. We feared this would happen, and our captain, Captain Jean-Luc Picard, noticed it too. This is why the Agency is built. We protect worlds from different evils, most notably Engel and her Nazis." Katy explains.

"Sounds a little like what we do," Kari said.

"Yeah, we've traveled from our world to the Digital World and now we're trying to save both our worlds from Myotismon and other evil digimon that are trying to destroy them," Tai said. "If there's anything we can do to help, then tell us."

"It definitely sounds like this Borg Queen is now as much our enemy as yours," Matt added. "What can we do to help out?"

"Well…" Katy thinks about this. "Give me a sec."

"You can join us as official Agents until we find your home." Paiman suggested.

The kids all looked at one another and nodded. "We'll do it," Tai said.

"I really hope there isn't some weird initiation thing we have to do," Joe said. "I have bad enough test anxiety as it is."

"Where do we sign up?" Biyomon asked.

"You don't have to sign up. We just say you're good." Katy then looks up at Joe. "Despite you saying you have a bad enough test anxiety, there is actually an academy here. Different people from different worlds come here to also be taught as well. I am one of the teachers of this Agency."

"Does this mean you could teach us how to fight that Borg Queen?" Tentomon asked. "None of our attacks worked on it."

"I can try. I've done it a few times. It's rare. But, I can see what I can do." Katy nodded.

"Alright, sounds good," Tai said. "Just tell us where to start."

"Well, first off, let's go meet your team." Katy said.

"Team? You mean we're going to be working with others as well?" Matt asked.

"Safety in numbers," Gabumon said.

Katy then crawls off of the bench. "Can one of you kindly pick me up?"

Kari knelt down and picked up the little Caterpillar. "Just tell us where to go."

Katy nodded.

Later, they proceeded to go find the team. The team are then seen at the cafeteria. Here, they see Konata Izumi, Tsumiki Miniwa, Tomoko Kuroki, Mio Naganohara, Kon, Riko, Reg, Nanachi, Marulk, Meinya, Phosphophyllite and Raggedy Ann all sitting at a table near the window.

The Digidestined approached the interesting group of people and introduced themselves. "We're from Tokyo, in the human world," Tai began after the introductions were made. "And our digimon are from the Digital World. It's a pleasure to meet each of you."

"Hmm. Nice to know." Konata nodded.

"We already knew about you already. We have known of Digimon ever since we've known of their existence. The Meta-Verse Department Agency has a few of those." Tsumiki then looks at Patamon and Gatomon. "Including this reality's version of you guys."

"This reality's version of us?" T.K. said. "Does that mean we have doubles here?"

"Well, only your Digimon is all. Patamon and Gatomon are the only known doubles here. We did have doubles of Agumon and Tai a while back, but they're nowhere to be found at the moment. Don't know what happened to them." Tsumiki explains.

Gatomon stared in surprise. "So, I have a copycat here?"

Tai and Agumon exchanged curious glances. "Doubles of us. And they're missing. That's concerning."

"Well, now that we're here, what should we do now?" Mimi asked.

Tsumiki thinks. "I'm noticing you guys are portal victims. That happened two years ago. Two years ago, Riko, Reg, Nanachi and Marulk here got sucked out of their world. Have not found their world yet. A year ago, Phosphophyllite here got sucked out of her world, along with others of her kind. We found her world easily enough. And Meinya here, she's from the same world as these four are." Tsumiki explains.

"Me ya." Meinya just said.

"So, you guys are stuck in the same situation we are, huh?" Joe said.

"By the way, have you guys ever heard of someone called the Borg Queen?" Kari asked.

Tsumiki's eyes widened. "She's dead. We killed her. Why?"

"Well, she's definitely not dead," Gatomon said. "She did a serious number on us."

"We didn't stand a chance," Palmon said somberly.

"That doesn't make sense. She can't still be alive." Tsumiki said.

Ann then turns to…us. "Well, at least we know how this arc's gonna go? Starting off with them. That seems easy enough."

The Digidestined and Digimon saw that she was just talking to the window.

"Erm… who were you just talking to?" Tai asked curiously, although he should have known better than to question the behavior of strangers from completely different worlds.

"Me? Oh, I was just talking to the readers at home. That's all." Ann answered.

"Readers?" Joe asked. "I'm starting to freak out here."

"You know, at this point, I'm just going to stop questioning anything," Tai said. Agumon nodded.

"She does that at times." Nanachi said. "What do you expect from a weirdo like her?"

"Hey." Ann said, teasingly.

Reg sighed. "We might as well find a room for you guys to stay in. We do have an apartment center here in this Agency."

"That sounds great," Tai said.

"It'll be like a home away from home," T.K. agreed.

"Would you be able to show us these apartments?" Sora asked. "We're still trying to get our bearings around here."

"We'll show you." Konata said.

The team gets up, then leads them to where the apartment center is. Later, they entered a room that is just like an apartment. A living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, etc.

"This is it." Katy said.

"Looks a lot like our apartment back home," Kari said.

"Thanks a lot, guys," Tai said. "So, when are we going to start this academy?"

"Soon. We're actually on lunch break right now. We'll call you when you're needed. Unless we have a mission to attend before class happens, that is. Sometimes that happens." Katy said.

"In the meantime, let's get adjusted to this new life of ours," Matt said. "You know, I wonder just how many worlds we're going to end up hoping to."

Tai and Mimi took a seat on the couch while Izzy browsed on his computer. T.K. and Kari went to explore more of the apartment while the others just chilled out for the moment. They were exhausted both mentally and physically from everything that seemed to transpire in just a few hours.

Meanwhile, Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Rebecca Miyamoto, Kyubey, Sackboy, Remon Yamano and Bee #5344 are in the bridge, discussing some things.

"We still have more of these realities coming. First, it was Tsukasa, then it was Neptunite. Now, they're false openers. The real opener of these portals is still out there. Dammit. Why is things getting complicated still?" Sackboy is irritated.

"I know. But we must help them as best as we can. Otherwise, it'll be an extinction for them all." Picard said.

"Yeah. I still don't wanna go through that." Remon said.

5344 nodded. "I still don't know how we're in this situation. I mean, shouldn't this stop by now?"

"The multiverse is filled with mysteries." Sackboy said.

"I can agree to that." Kyubey said.

"Just make sure everyone's safe." A mysterious man is in a chair at the very front of the bridge, at the left hand corner.

This man has brown hair and wears a yellow short-sleeve vest, brown and purple pants and black boots. This man is the legendary hero, Hercules.

"Don't worry. We won't let them die right off. We're gonna keep them safe." Sackboy said.

"Let's just hope so. Because, I don't want people to get hurt." Hercules said.

"We know that feeling." Remon said.

Meanwhile, in the boy's restroom in the hallway of the Agency, we see Meta-Verse's reality Patamon looking into the mirror with a sink in front of the mirror. He looks at himself intently.

"You have so much light in you. How very interesting are you? Angemon. That's what you previously were. But you gave up that title. Just to become a rookie with nothing. Nothing. Is that it?" In the mirror, we see Sinister Strange is behind Meta-Verse Patamon, with his third eye opened. "Things just got out of hand." He smiled, evilly and nodding.

Meta-Verse Patamon stares at Sinister Strange, frightened. He looked behind him, and saw nothing. He looks back in the mirror to see Sinister Strange gone. He then boils up in anger, then slams his hand against the wall. He looks frustrated. "What did I do to deserve this?"

Seconds later, Meta-Verse Patamon got out of the restroom, then sighed. But then, he turns around to see the other Patamon in front of him.

T.K. and Patamon were surprised to see the other Patamon staring at them.

"Oh," T.K. said happily. "You must be that Meta-Verse Patamon we've heard about. I'm T.K., and this is my partner, Patamon."

"Hiya! Nice to meet 'ya!" Patamon said happily, fluttering over to the Meta-Verse Patamon and reached a hand out for him to shake.

Meta-Verse Patamon just stared at Patamon, confused, but he shook his hand, even in confusion. "Am I hallucinating?"

"Nope, I'm as real as they come," Patamon said. "So, other Patamon, how long have you been here, in this world?"

Meta-Verse Patamon sighed. "Well, it has been 4 years since I came here. It was good for a while. Got to meet people I thought wouldn't be possible." He then makes a face of concern. "Well, 2 years ago…" He just trailed off.

T.K. tilted his head, curious. "What happened 2 years ago?"

Meta-Verse Patamon sighed. "2 years ago, I was actually a portal victim into another dimension. Not just me. But others as well. We got ourselves sucked out of this reality and into another. We've met other realities as well, including a strange mercenary named Deadpool. But, that's not the thing that's tearing apart right now. It is Sinister Strange. Things just got out of hand, is what he said. He thinks I gave up being Angemon. He's right. I did. But Sinister Strange still haunts me these days. I'm not sure why."

"Sinister Strange?" T.K. repeated. "Is there anything that Patamon and I can do to help you?"

"Yeah, when I digivolve, I become Angemon," Patamon said. "Maybe I can force this Sinister Strange away?"

Meta-Verse Patamon shook his head. "Sinister Strange is more dangerous than you think. He is a Sorcerer Supreme. Dark. Corrupted. That's all he is." He then walks up to Patamon. "I can digivolve into Angemon once. Even MagnaAngemon." He sighed. "But I gave up on that, and found a new path to choose for myself."

"That's cool, about the new path thing," T.K. said. "What is this new path that you're following?"

"Is it helping out the Meta-Verse Department Agency?" Patamon asked.

"That's one of them. But, there is something I have been trying to do as of late." Meta-Verse Patamon just stares at Patamon in the eyes. "Knowing myself."

"Knowing yourself? Do you not know yourself that well?" Patamon asked. He had never once thought about such things before. He felt that he knew himself quite well, but now, he wondered if he should be looking deeper into himself as well. After all, that's what this Patamon was doing.

"I felt like there was more than just my past. I don't know how to explain it. I…" Meta-Verse Patamon sighed. "I want to see how much more I know about myself. And see what I have been missing all this time."

"I see," Patamon said, although he was still a bit confused. It was all so complicated to him. He didn't have much of a past, as he just waited for T.K. to finally arrive in the digital world. "By the way," he said, changing the subject, "Isn't there a Gatomon here, too?"

Meta-Verse Patamon nodded. "She and I are boyfriend and girlfriend."

Patamon's eyes widened. He hadn't really thought of Gatomon that way, but then again, she was still so new to the team. Things such as romance hadn't been something he had thought about much. "Wow, so you two must be close then."

"We are." Meta-Verse Patamon nodded. "We definitely are." He sighed. "She is taking on an assignment in Brazil at the moment with John 'Soap' MacTavish. She might come back soon. Don't know how soon, if you wanna meet up with her."

"Well, if you ever get too lonely, you can hang out with me and T.K." Patamon said warmly. "I can't wait to meet her, but it sounds like she's on an important mission. But if I know Gatomon, she's doing just fine."

"I know she's doing just fine. I don't think she'll ever get hurt in any situation." Meta-Verse Patamon chuckled. "Anyways." He then makes a serious face. "So, how did you guys get here? Through a portal as well?"

"Yup, we fell through some kind of portal that opened up in the ground. That was right after we fought the Borg Queen. Have you ever heard of her, Meta-Verse Patamon? Everyone says she should be dead, but she's definitely not."

Meta-Verse Patamon's eyes widened. "I've heard of her. She's not dead?" He then thinks for a second. "How?"

"That's what we're trying to figure out too," T.K. said. "She's insanely powerful. She nearly wiped us all out."

"She can do that now?" Meta-Verse Patamon is in shock. "No, no, it can't be. It just can't be. How did she become that powerful?"

T.K. was about to answer when he heard a voice call out for him. It was Matt and he was looking for him. Matt came into view and spotted his younger brother and the two Patamons.

"There you are, T.K., and, um, hi, other Patamon," Matt said. "Man, I'm seeing double."

"Realities are a strange thing. Even though realities are so very, very complicated. I think my head's gonna explode." Meta-Verse Patamon said.

"That makes two of us," Matt said. "So, uh, are you part of the Academy too, Meta-Verse Patamon?"

Meta-Verse Patamon nodded. "I am a part of Katy's class. This reality's Gatomon's also a part of that little caterpillar's class as well. Although she's in Brazil at the moment."

T.K. smiled. "Cool, that makes us classmates together. I just hope I don't get our two Patamons mixed up."

T.K.'s partner flew over and sat on his head. "You can't get rid of me that easily," he chuckled.

Matt smiled as well and turned to the Meta-Verse Patamon, "Do you have a partner as well or are you on your own?"

Meta-Verse Patamon looks solemn. "I had a T.K. once. I lost him. He's somewhere, out there. I just…don't know where." He sighed. "I will find him. Eventually. Because I'm not losing him. Ever."

Patamon's smile faded. "Oh, no. That's terrible. I don't know what I would do without T.K."

Matt sighed. He wasn't always the best at comforting people, so he really didn't know what to say.

T.K. took a step towards Meta-Verse Patamon and said, "You can stick with us. I don't know if I'll be able to help you digivolve, but we can at least fight by your side until you find your T.K."

Meta-Verse Patamon smiled. "Thank you." He then has tears falling down his eyes. "Thank you."

T.K. knelt down and picked up Meta-Verse Patamon and gave him a hug, letting him cry into his chest. Patamon reached down and patted Meta-Verse Patamon's back, trying to help comfort him as well.

Ann was behind them, and wasn't trying to get noticed. She sighed. She then walks off.

Meanwhile, in the apartment center, we do see the rest of the DigiDestined and Digimon just chilling out, until Mary comes in. "Sup?"

"Oh, hello," Tai said, turning up to look at Mary. "How's it going?"

Mary chuckled, nervously. "You know, I got myself to work on paperwork and all. I just chilled out for a while down in the arcade room, we have an arcade room just fyi, and there is a bar there as well. Anyways. I took ten shots of whiskey until I got completely drunk. My cat friend, Morgana, took me out of the arcade room and put me in my bedroom until I finally snapped out of it. Then I heard of you newcomers, so I came to see what's up with you guys. That's all."

Tai chuckled. He couldn't relate to the drinking thing, as they were all underaged and had never drank once, but he knew how his dad was when he got drunk. He was a fumbling mess most of the time. "Well, there's some stuff that's up. We fell through a portal after fighting the Borg Queen and now we're stuck here for the time being. I take it you work for this place too. Are you a student at the academy?"

"We're about to join this organization, too," Sora said.

"That's good to know. And, nah. I already am the leader of an organization known as…The Revengers. The base is right next to this Agency here, since I wanted a Revengers base. So yeah. That's fun and all. And…you just said, Borg Queen. Did I hear that wrong?" Mary asked.

"Nope, she came and wiped the floor with us," Joe said.

"Then this Magical Girl named Ripple came and saved us," Mimi said, then looked somber. "I just hope she's alright. If MetalGreymon's missiles couldn't do anything against that Borg Queen, then I don't know what will."

"Hold up. Ripple? I've heard of her. She was actually a participant of the Magical Girl Raising Project. To which that project is a goddamned slaughterhouse where Magical Girls go to slaughter each other." Mary said.

"A slaughterhouse?" Mimi repeated with a shudder. Maybe Ripple would be okay against the Borg Queen after all."

"What exactly is a Magical Girl?" Sora asked. "Ripple was able to actually hurt her, so she must be really strong."

"Oh, come on. You have not heard of a Magical Girl in your life? Have you ever heard of Sailor Moon?" Mary asked.

The others looked around at each other with confusion. "No, I can't say we've ever heard of a Sailor Moon before," Izzy said. "We don't have these Magical Girls in our world."

Mary nodded. "Okay. Let's just say you heard them on TV, right? Anime series? Manga series? No." She facefaulted.

"I guess I've seen something kind of like that before," Sora said, although that sort of thing wasn't really in her interests. She tended to read mainly Shonen manga. "Is it like the girl version of Power Rangers or something?"

Mimi smiled, "Oh, yeah, I think I've seen something like that before while flipping through channels."

"Oh thank God. Someone knows. Or, two someones. And…what the fuck are you talking about girl version of Power Rangers?" Mary laughed. "That's the most ironic thing I've heard all day. Wow!"

The kids wondered if they should switch the subject, as none of them were particularly well versed in Magical Girl media. "But, you said that this project thing involving Magical Girls is a slaughterhouse? What's that about?"

Mary's laugh faded. She then looks concerned. "I don't know. I'm thinking someone is trying to kill these Magical Girls for no reason whatsoever. They advertise it like it's something good. But, it's a trap. And a very deadly one at that."

"Is this Magical Girl Raising Project part of the Meta-Verse Department Agency or something else entirely?" Kari asked.

"Kid, we don't want a slaughterhouse here. So no. It is completely different. And it has been created by someone that's named after a fruit. Cranberry." Mary said.

Joe breathed a sigh of relief. For a second there, he was afraid that this project was part of the Agency they were about to join. At least he didn't have to worry about the Academy trying to kill him. Hopefully. "So, what do these Magical Girls do exactly? Do they fight evil, because that one that went after the Borg Queen seemed to be doing."

"Well, okay. Every Magical Girl fights evil. Unless there is an evil Magical Girl, to which those exist sadly, then they don't fight against evil, they side with evil." Mary said.

The kids went quiet, trying to take in everything that they just learned. Agumon was the first to speak up, "Are these Magical Girls really strong enough to defeat the Borg Queen?"

"Depends on how crazy powerful the Borg Queen is. She was actually kind of weak when we fought her. So, is she very powerful now?" Mary asked.

"We couldn't even scratch her. She absorbed all of our attacks," Izzy explained. "She said something about the Nazis though, maybe they have something to do with her becoming so strong?"

Mary then realizes. "Did she say something to you about her being rebuilt? Remade?"

"Yes, she did," Tai said. "She mentioned the name Irene Engel. Do you know who that is?"

"One, she's a Nazi warlord, taking over Hitler's place after he was dead. Engel became the new Hitler. And two, I knew it. Someone rebuilt the Borg Queen and reprogrammed her. Oh shit." Mary realized something now. "If the Borg Queen's reprogrammed, then we don't know how to kill her."

"Well, that's just great," Joe muttered sarcastically. "If our digimon can't do anything, then what hope do we have against her?"

"Maybe that Magical Girl, Ripple, managed to beat her?" Sora said hopefully.

"I can highly doubt it. You said she absorbs powers right? And I know Ripple. She doesn't have abilities. She just uses a goddamned katana. So physical attacks the Borg Queen can't absorb. But even physical attacks can be weak against her. So, how much of a chance does Ripple have?" Mary moves her hand in an iffy way. "Probably not. How lucky is Ripple to survive? Probably a hundred percent chance. Since she knows how to survive dangerous situations."

That helped ease the kids' fears, but they still had the problem of how to get home. "She saved us, we have to find a way to get back to our world to help her. We owe her our lives," Sora said.

"You said that the Borg Queen was reprogrammed, does that mean that she can be reprogrammed again?" Izzy asked.

"Not easy. Cause, if you want to reprogram her, you probably need to find her creator first if you don't want anything to go wrong. I mean, if you want to risk your life reprogramming her and it all goes to kablooey, then knock yourself out." Mary said.

Izzy hummed sadly. So much for his plan on possibly reprogramming her himself. Besides, he probably wouldn't be able to crack her coding anyway. "Guess we'll have to figure out something else, like how to find her creator."

"Do you know who that is?" Tai asked.

"No I don't. I don't know who the creator is. Looks like we got ourselves a mission to attend to. Well, something to that effect. Find the Borg Queen's creator and tell that bastard to shut the new and improve Borg Queen down for good. Problem is, where the hell is the creator?" Mary shrugs and shakes her head. "No clue."

"Guess she doesn't have a technical support line that we can call," Tai joked, although no one was in any particular mood to laugh.

"Our Digimon are nearly healed," Mimi said, looking over at Palmon who was napping beside Gomamon on the floor. "Maybe we can figure something out once they're back at full strength."

"Yeah, but we have to attend this academy first," Kari said. "Maybe then we can become strong enough to do at least a little damage against her."

"Okay, kid. Let me tell ya something here. If we get a mission alert first, then you guys can't attend until we get this mission done." Mary points out.

"Alright, a mission sounds better than school anyway," Tai said. He then turned to Agumon, "Feeling up for anything now, buddy?"

"You got it, Agumon said with a nod.

"Heh." Mary said. "Well, yeah. That's all I got." She was about to leave, but then turned to them. "Don't forget we have a cockroach problem in this room. Our tiny little robot will take care of it pretty soon." She then leaves the room.

"Ew, Cockroaches?" Mimi groaned. The others ignored it, as cockroaches were the least of their problems now. It was still gross though, but considering everything they had been through in the digital world, bugs didn't really freak any of them out anymore. The alternative could be worse. A cockroach the size of Kuwagamon was the only thing they worried about.

Then, after a few minutes ID-3 Hoihoi-san, came into the room. "Didn't know we got visitors here." She then walks under the counter in the kitchen. A cockroach tries to run from Hoihoi-san, gets out of the counter, crawling around the living room, but then the tiny robot maid grabs out her katana and brutally cuts the cockroach to pieces.

The kids watched as Hoihoi-san slaughtered the cockroach. "Um, anything we can do to help?" Biyomon asked, surprised by the level of violence the android was causing to the cockroaches.

Hoihoi-san then looked up at Biyomon, then shook her head. "No. It's taken care of." She then grabs the cockroach's corpse and gets out of the room through under the door.

The kids watched her leave and they were sitting in silence again. Tentomon then said, "As long as she doesn't come after me like that, then I'm fine with her."

Meanwhile, Matt, T.K. Patamon and Meta-Verse Patamon were gonna go to the apartment center, but they then ran into Meta-Verse Gatomon and John 'Soap' MacTavish.

T.K. turned to Meta-Verse Patamon and said excitedly, "That's the Gatomon you were telling us about, isn't it?"

Meta-Verse Patamon nodded.

"That was pretty rough." Meta-Verse Gatomon said.

"What happened?" Meta-Verse Patamon asked.

"Well, we got our asses beat by Killer Tomatoes, but we killed those bastards before they even got a chance to kill the citizens of Brazil." Soap said.

Killer Tomatoes? Matt was becoming more confused by this world with every minute that passed.

"Meta-Verse Gatomon, do you have a Kari as well or did you lose her as well?" Patamon asked.

"Someone is gonna bring that up one way or another." Meta-Verse Gatomon sighed. "Yep. I also did."

"I'm sorry to hear that," T.K. said. "If you want, you can come by our apartment. We have a Kari and Gatomon and I bet they'd love to meet you, too."

"Not surprised." Meta-Verse Gatomon said.

"Yeah, after all this shit that we've been through, I wouldn't be surprised if we even have doubles of ourselves." Soap said.

Matt turned to Soap and said, "Did you fall through a portal as well? That's what happened to us."

Soap shook his head. "I actually heard of this place and decided to be a faculty member of this Agency. I'm no teacher or anything. Just a combat teacher is all. And combat is what I do entirely."

"Maybe you can help us out then," Matt chuckled. "Because our last battle could have gone a lot better." Although, now that he thought about it, he wasn't sure that there was ever a way that they could have beaten the Borg Queen.

"When the fight gets tough, you have to push yourself to the limit. I do that every once and a while. I have to retreat if the fight gets real tough. But that doesn't mean I will go back to fighting again. Even if it's in an entirely different location." Soap smiled. "You never give up on your friends. You never give up on the battlefield."

Matt sighed. "We had to flee. We just didn't stand a chance against that Borg Queen, no matter what we threw at her. I just hope that Magical Girl's alright."

"What Magical Girl?" Meta-Verse Gatomon asked, curiously.

"She said her name was Ripple," T.K. answered. "She managed to save one of our friends from the Borg Queen, then she bought us enough time to escape. That's when we fell through the portal and into this world."

"Ripple?" Meta-Verse Gatomon thinks about this. "She's still alive then."

"You know her?" Soap asked.

Meta-Verse Gatomon nodded. "Me and Patamon have splitted ways for a little while. Over a week. That was, gosh, don't know how long ago that was. I met Ripple while I was on my own. I helped her out most of the time. She's kind of cold, but she's caring."

"She seems tough, I'm sure she's all right," Matt said, seeing the worried expression on T.K.'s face.

"She is. She managed to surpass every danger that was thrown at her. I tried to help her, but she actually saved me in the end." Meta-Verse Gatomon said.

T.K. breathed a sigh of relief. "Good, I was worried that something might have happened to her. We still need to pay her back for saving us."

Matt said to Soap, "How long do your missions usually take?"

"Depends. Some missions are short, some missions are long, some missions take days, if not weeks. It depends on how bad the situation is." Soap said.

"What kind of enemies do you guys face off against?" T.K. asked.

"Well, Nazis, for one. We face off supernatural and demonic entities." Meta-Verse Gatomon said.

"I don't get it. I thought the Nazis were beaten. Are there dimensions where they're still active? That might explain the Borg Queen attacking us."

Meta-Verse Gatomon sighed. "Well, Irene Engel took over Adolf Hitler's place after his death. Engel made the Nazis active again. And so she brought about new followers for the Nazis. That's how that goes."

Matt sighed. "Well, we'd better head back to the apartment, see how the others are doing. I'm worried about Gabumon," Matt said. Gabumon had been asleep on the couch, but he was still worried about his partner's health.

"I might come with you guys, just to see the other me." Meta-Verse Gatomon said.

"Go ahead. See you." Soap then walks away from the group.

Matt, T.K., Patamon, and the two Meta-Verse digimon headed back to the apartment. They walked in and found everyone, more or less, where he had left them.

"You missed a pretty big meeting there, you two," Tai chided playfully. He then noticed the two doubles of Patamon and Gatomon.

Kari and Gatomon approached Meta-Verse Gatomon. "You must be the Gatomon we were told about. I'm Kari," she said with a warm smile.

Meta-Verse Gatomon. "Nice to meet you. I'm still trying to find my Kari. I'm making progress." She sighed. "Maybe. Maybe not."

"Well, if you're like my Gatomon, then you're one of the strongest digimon I've ever met," Kari said assuringly. "I'm sure you'll reunite sooner than you think."

"Thanks." Meta-Verse Gatomon smiled, then sighed. "I was on a mission in Brazil. Got attacked by Killer Tomatoes. That's the most freakiest mission I've ever taken. But I killed those freaky things, alongside Soap."

"See? I told you, you're one of the strongest digimon ever."

Tai approached the Meta-Verse Gatomon and said, "Do you know what kind of missions we're going to be sent on?"

"Well, any kind honestly. Whether that's rescue missions or missions that involve fighting and all. Those types of missions." Meta-Verse Gatomon replied.

Tai cracked his knuckles. "Man, I'm ready for one of these missions already. I can't take all this sitting around."

"How about we don't go looking for trouble, Tai," Joe said. "Personally, I'm fine here. Cockroaches or not, this is a perfectly fine apartment to stay in for the time being."

"That's Tai for ya. Still the same." Meta-Verse Gatomon nodded. "Oh. It's kind of random for me to mention this, but…me and Patamon…we're engaged."

Kari looked surprised at first, mouth agape. Once the shock wore off, she smiled again. "That's great to hear. Congratulations, Meta-Verse Gatomon, and you too, Meta-Verse Patamon."

"Thanks." Meta-Verse Patamon said. "We're about to get married. So…" He chuckled, nervously. "I'm kind of nervous."

"That's understandable," Sora said. "Hey, maybe we can help you with the wedding? Who knows how long we're going to be stuck in this dimension?"

"I appreciate the help. Maybe I might let you guys help." Meta-Verse Patamon said.

"It would be good if we actually got help with the wedding and all." Meta-Verse Gatomon said.

"Have fun with that. I'll be rooting for you guys." Gokicha gets out of the counter, then leaves the room.

"Wow, Mary was right about there being a cockroach problem," Tai said. "Who was that?"

"Oh, that's Gokicha. She is a pretty nice cockroach girl. She always wants to make friends with humans any way she goes." Meta-Verse Patamon nodded.

"She isn't going to be mad that someone came in and killed a cockroach, will she?" Joe asked.

Meta-Verse Patamon shook his head. "I wouldn't think so. I mean, she already knew who ID-3 Hoihoi-san even is. They both were rivals at first. Hoihoi-san tried to kill Gokicha, but that changed when she saved Hoihoi-san's life. So, they're kind of partners, pretty much. Why? Did that little robot maid come in here?"

"Yeah, you just missed her," Agumon said.

Meta-Verse Patamon chuckled. "If you have seen the carnage that she did, that's how she illuminates pests. Brutal carnage."

"It definitely wasn't pretty," Tai laughed.

"By the way, Meta-Verse Gatomon, is there anything we should know about this place that we haven't been told yet?" Sora asked. "We're still trying to get our bearings here."

"Well, if Katy told you some stuff about it, the Meta-Verse Department Agency is an agency where people from different worlds go to different worlds to fight off against the forces of evil. There is an academy here, she must have told you that too. There is also a park in the middle of this place. An arcade room. This room here. Yeah. That's all that has been said here. It's a pretty good agency, to tell you the truth." Meta-Verse Gatomon said. "Also, it has been founded by the captain of the USS Enterprise, Captain Jean-Luc Picard. He gave up his ship and crew to become a captain here. His crewmates are still around, in different worlds. Having different career paths."

"He was the captain of a ship? That's impressive," Izzy said.

"What's even better? It's a spaceship." Meta-Verse Gatomon chuckled.

Izzy's jaw slacked. "We haven't even traveled further than the moon for space travel. Only rovers go past there. That's amazing."

"Is this Picard going to be the one giving us missions?" Matt asked.

"Well, he does give the green-light on that. He tells the faculty members and the teachers about it, and the faculty members and the teachers are usually the ones that give us the missions." Meta-Verse Patamon said.

Tai was getting impatient. He was curious what else was in this huge building. "Hey, guys, didn't that Mary mention something about an arcade?" he asked. "I think I'm going to head there for a bit, see what's up."

"I'll go with you, T.K. said. "I wanna go to an arcade."

But, unfortunately, somebody rams the door of the apartment center, and that is The Doctor.

"Guys! We have trouble!" The Doctor shouted.

"What's up?" Tai asked.

"Come to the meeting room at once. The teachers need us there. I think you guys are gonna have your first mission early on it seems like." The Doctor said.

Tai grinned. "Finally, some action. I'm excited."

"Well, I'm just hoping that this mission goes better for us than our last battle," Joe said.

"Ah, lighten up. We've faced plenty of big bad dudes in the past and been fine. So what, we got beat once. No big deal. We'll figure it out one way or another."

Sora turned to The Doctor and said, "Lead the way."

The Doctor nodded.

"That's Doctor Who." Meta-Verse Patamon said.

"It's The Doctor! The Doctor!" The Doctor got annoyed when he got called Doctor Who. "Anyways, let's go."

Minutes later, they're at the meeting room, with other Agents there as well.

"It seems that Nazis are striking Tokidasame. And it seems like you guys are right. The Borg Queen is still alive. She's at Tokidasame right now." Katy said.

"We'll put a stop to them," Tai said. "Tell us how to get there."

"Well, we're going with you on this. Head to the parking lot." Paiman clapped.

Wow, that was a short meeting. Later, they're at the parking lot where they saw the van truck, driven by Flandre.

"Ooba. Is this your crew?" Flandre asked.

"Better and better." Katy nodded.

Tai looked over the van truck, not really sure what to expect. "Is that how we're getting there?" he asked.

"It's big enough for all of you, ooba." Flandre said.

It was definitely large, and Tai was the first to get inside, followed by the rest of the DigiDestined and their partners.

"Let's begin a little trip to Tokidasame." Nanachi said.

"I'm hoping my world's alright." Mio said.

"We'll stop them. Don't worry." 5344 said. "Even I'm hesitant on this."

Remon snickered. "Seriously, you better toughen up."

"I can't do that!" 5344 argued.

"Next scene." Ann said.

Later, they're driving to Tokidasame. Katy looks over the digital map on the table. "What we're looking at here is full scale. We never had this much Nazis taking over an area before."

"I wonder if they're getting bolder now that they have the Borg Queen on their side," Izzy mused, mainly to himself.

"What we're seeing here is that they're in the streets of Tokidasame. They're not even close to your school." Paiman said.

Mio sighed in relief. "Thank God for that. But what do they want with my world?"

"That I'm trying to figure out." Katy said.

"We need to take caution. Mary told me the Borg Queen got reprogrammed, meaning she's much stronger than ever. Be careful with her." Sackboy said.

"We can attest to that," Matt said.

"What's the plan guys?" Sora asked. "How do we want to go about this?"

"I just say we bust on in and take 'em out," Tai said.

"Won't be that easy. These guys can be strong as well, depending on what superhuman abilities they have." Kyubey said.

"I know we took on stronger than that. We took on Apocalymon and that's like years ago." Meta-Verse Patamon said.

"I don't wanna run into that." Katy said.

"Maybe we should fan out, try to pick them off one-by-one," Mimi offered.

"That can be possible." Kyubey said.

"Alright. I think we got our plan set." Paiman said.

"Do we? I mean, if we get ourselves beat-up central, then I prefer to take out my enemies the right way. Ninja style." Milk said.

"So, a sneak attack, perhaps?" Matt said. "WereGarurumon is very stealthy and agile. He'd be perfect for going in "ninja style."

Milk nodded. "That would probably be a good idea."

"The werewolf that can sneak attack. I like it." Katy nodded.

"Just make sure he doesn't get noticed first. Because some enemies can sense when they're being sneak attacked." Reg said.

"Oh, hush it! I'm sure the werewolf dude is gonna be fine." Milk said.

"Do we want to bring anyone else with us then? Or should Milk and WereGarurumon just sneak in on their own?" Tai asked.

"Let's just see what the situation looks like before we go into sneak attack mode." Katy said.

"How about the rest of us?" Sora said. "MetalGreymon and Garudamon have some serious firepower, but they aren't stealthy."

"Like I said, see the situation first, then plan it out from there." Katy said.

Tokidasame

"We're here, ooba." Flandre said. She then sees the worst. "Oh crud."

"What?" Reg goes up to Flandre and sees what she's seeing. "What the hell?"

There are a number of enemies, but worst of all, they have a Digimon on their side: Kuwagamon.

"Looks like our old foe is teaming up with Nazis now," Matt said.

"We've beaten Kuwagamon before, we can do it again," Agumon said.

"Remember you said that the Borg Queen might team up with Myotismon? Well if that thing's part of Myotismon's army, then it's already happening." Paiman then gets out of the van truck, with his futuristic laser gun ready.

The DigiDestined began getting out one-by-one to better look at the situation. Kuwagamon not only looked bigger than he had when they first fought him, but he looked even more menacing than before. Was it possible that he became stronger during their time away from the Digital World?

"So, now what?" Mimi asked Katy.

"Hmm." Katy looks at the situation. What they're seeing is a large dome ship, and with Nazis guarding it. She then sees a ball-like robot right in front of Kuwagamon. "What is he doing?"

With the ball-like robot, he flies towards Kuwagamon.

The ball-like robot is white and has a blue eye in the middle of his ball-like body and has a handle above his eye and below his eyes. This is Wheatley.

"I've sent you from your reality for a reason. I want the Light One. I'm counting on you to find her. Do you understand, my dear Kuwagamon?" Wheatley said.

"Who's that robot?" Tai asked Katy. "It sounds like you know him."

"That's Wheatley. He's an insane, sadistic robotic AI. But, he joined up with the Nazis?" Katy shrugged. "I'm not surprised. But, he's the one that sent Kuwagamon here? But how?"

"That must mean they know how to get to the digital world, and who knows what else they might bring over if he's already brought Kuwagamon here."

"So, it's not just Myotismon's army, it could be evil, wild digimon that we'll be facing off against too," Tai said. "They must really be trying to increase their numbers."

"If they start bringing bigger Digimon, then we could be in trouble," Sora said with a gulp.

Wheatley then senses something. He then disappears.

"Where did he go?" Reg asked, looking worried.

Wheatley then reappeared right in front of the team.

"What the-?" Tai began, but Agumon jumped in front of him, protectively.

"Back off," Agumon growled.

"Hmm. You seem so protective. I see." Wheatley then stares at Kari. "Ah, there you are, Light One. I've been looking for you." He flew to Kari, with his one blue eye maddened.

"That's what you think. Lightning Paw!" Gatomon exclaimed as she jumped up and punched Wheatley, aiming for his eye.

But, all of a sudden, Wheatley grows a metal arm and grabs Gatomon's fist. "Oh. Well now, you're the Light One's bodyguard? I should have expected something a little more different."

Tai and Agumon ran over to Kari and stood in front of her. "Just what do you want my sister for, you creep?"

"Oh, so she's your sister? Well, my dear friend, she is the reincarnation of the Light One. I can tell, because she has the Crest of Light on her. Oh, you can't hide that from me. I wanna use her power to bring back the Goddess, Myonora, from the dead. And she's the one to do so." Wheatley explains.

"Kari? Reincarnation? What are you blabbering on about? Agumon, digivolve and take this guy out."

"Tai, hold on, that might alert the enemy," Izzy tried to argue, but it was too late. Agumon was already digivolving into Greymon. The massive tyrannosaurus rex stomped over to Wheatly and swung his tail at him.

"Ah, ah, ah." Wheatley throws Gatomon to a building, then grabs Greymon's tail. "Do you ever learn your manners?"

The Nazis had noticed this.

"So. Meta-Verse is here." Engel sneered. "Kill them."

The Borg Queen then sends out her Borg army to destroy the Agents, the DigiDestined and their partners.

"Well, so much for our sneak attack," Matt said while rolling his eyes. He should have expected as much. "Gabumon, do your thing."

"Roger that," Gabumon said as he digivolve into Garurumon and then again into WereGarurumon.

Gatomon was trying to recover from being thrown into a building.

Suddenly, Scalpel has suddenly jumped onto Gatomon. "Hello, my pretty." He got his claws ready to stab the cat Digimon.

Gatomon rolled and tried to pry the Decepticon off. "Let go!" she yelled as she began slashing at him with her claws. Her tail ring began to glow and she began glowing faintly as power coursed through her.

"What's zis?!" Scalpel is in shock.

Wheatley sees this. "Oh. So, you are the Light One's bodyguard after all. I see." He threw Greymon's tail out of the way, then flew to Gatomon.

Kari gasped as she watched her partner get gained up on. "Gatomon, no!" she cried out. Her crest of light and her digivice began to glow and Gatomon began to digivolve into Angewomon. She flew up and pointed her Celestial Arrow at Wheatley.

Wheatley dodges the Arrow, then attacks Angewomon. Fortunately, he got shot at, then he crashed down to the ground. And who shot him is Katy, as she used her Big Impact Gun on Wheatley.

"Thanks for the save," Angewomon said to Katy, though she was a little surprised that the caterpillar had such a weapon on her. She then turned to Scalpel and shouted. "Heaven's Charm!" and unleashed a blast of holy energy at him.

"Ye'll pay for zat!" Scalpel gets blasted by the holy energy and he slams into a building.

"We still have incoming!" Tomoko shouted.

The Borgs then shoot their lasers at the team.

Greymon pushed himself up and digivolve into MetalGreymon. He stood in front of the team and did his best to deflect the lasers with his giant, mechanical claw.

Biyomon digivolved into Birdramon and then again into Garudamon, while everyone else evolved into their champion level forms, ready to attack.

Kabuterimon flew out first and called out, "Electro Shocker!" as he fired a blast of electricity at the Borgs. Garudamon joined him and used her Wing Blade and unleashed a fiery bird at the Borgs.

Hexadecimal sees the team. "Chaos will always triumph over order; it is the way of things!" She then switches her face up to look mad and menacing, then she charges at the team with her dark red twin blades.

"Harpoon Torpedo!" Ikkakumon bellowed as he fired missiles from his horn at Hexadecimal.

Togemon joined him and shouted "Needle Spray," and fired thorns at her as well.

Hexadecimal screamed as the Harpoon Torpedo and Needle Spray hit her. She tries to block them with her twin blades, but she is still damaged. "You fools!"

Wheatley got up, then flew to Kuwagamon. "Kuwagamon. Destroy them."

Kuwagamon roared and its wings buzzed as it took off into the air. It spotted Kabuterimon and Garudamon and charged for them first. While they were distracted, Kuwagamon got up behind Kabuterimon and clamped its pincers down onto him. Kabuterimon cried out and recoiled as he tried to pry Kuwagamon off.

"Not good." Nanachi said.

Reg then ran for it.

"Reg, wait!" Riko said.

Reg runs up to Kabuterimon and Kuwagamon, then he extends his arm to get onto Kabuterimon, then he lifts himself up and gets on Kabuterimon. He points his hand at Kuwagamon, then shoots a ball of energy at the dangerous Digimon.

Kuwagamon screeched and let go, falling back before charging for them again.

"Hold on," Kabuterimon told Reg as he shot up into the sky to avoid Kuwagamon. The red beetle flew right underneath them as Kabuterimon climbed higher and higher into the air.

"You doing alright back there?" Kabuterimon asked.

Reg looks determined. "I'm fine."

Kuwagamon shot up and flew after Kabuterimon, but Kabuterimon was ready for him. He spun around and cried out, "Electro Shocker!" and blasted the red beetle with a stream of electricity. Kuwagamon screeched and dropped, falling to the ground below.

"You son of a bitch!" Wheatley looks pissed. "Well, that didn't take long!"

"You might need us, sir." Two child angels then flew to him.

These angels have short, chin-length light brown/golden hair, slightly curling inwards and have purple eyes with a cross in each iris. They have a halo on top of their head and wear a dark blue and white ruffled long-sleeve dress and are barefoot. One of the angels has a ribbon on her right ankle, while the other has a ribbon on her left ankle. These are the Peaky Angels, Minael and Yunael.

"Well, this will be easy. Destroy them." Wheatley said.

"Yes, sir!" They smiled childishly, while flying up to the air.

Katy sees this, then shouts to Kabuterimon. "Watch out!"

Kabuterimon turned to see the two child angels flying towards him. He cried out, "Electro Shocker!" and unleashed another stream of electricity at them.

"Nah ah ah. That's playing naughty." The Peaky Angels block the Electro Shocker, then, it revealed they did absorb it in their staffs. They then shoot the Electro Shocker back out of their staffs and it's heading straight towards Kabuterimon.

Kabuterimon was surprised by suddenly having his own attack shot back at him. He was stunned and was blasted back by the Electro Shocker.

Izzy, who was watching from the ground, gasped and held the tag and crest that hung around his neck. It, his digivice, and Kabuterimon began to glow.

"Kabuterimon digivolve to… MegaKabuterimon!" The newly evolved insectoid digimon bellowed. He turned back to the angels and shouted, "Horn Buster," and fired a blast of energy from his horn at them.

"We can't absorb that!" Yunael yelped.

"Yes, we can!" Minael then tries to absorb the Horn Buster, but they get so distracted that they get busted by the Horn Buster, making them fall to the ground.

Someone was watching the battle from the ground, then she sank to the ground herself. She then swims in the ground, then she gets back up out of the ground, behind Izzy, then points her spear at him.

Izzy glanced behind and noticed the spear pointed at him. He gasped but didn't move, fearful that any sudden movements would cost him his life.

"Surrender yourself to Cranberry." The girl said in a quiet voice.

This girl has light pink hair, with short straight bangs and waves and purple eyes. She wears a headphone-like thing that is black with a pink center, fading into purple, a genetic white one-piece swimsuit and black boots. This is Swim Swim.

Izzy turned back to MegaKabuterimon, but he was too preoccupied with the battle to notice Izzy's current predicament. Izzy put his laptop up and raised his hands above his head. "What do you want from me?" he asked.

"You seem very scientific. Cranberry wants a scientific brain in her project, the Magical Girl Raising Project. She saw you as the perfect candidate for that. She asks if you don't resist the project." Swim Swim explains.

"It doesn't sound like I have much of a choice," Izzy grunted. He turned again to MegaKabuterimon, but he was still too busy fighting. Izzy returned his gaze to Swim Swim and said, "Fine."

"Then follow-" Swim Swim then got attacked.

Who saved Izzy is a girl that is wearing a red see-through helmet and blue jumpsuit. This girl seems to have short reddish-brown hair that is identifiable with a star that sits in her head, which resembles a shooting star and cyan eyes. This is Luluco.

Izzy smiled at Luluco. "Thanks for the save!" he then looked back up at the sky and called out, "MegaKabuterimon, we need you down here."

MegaKabuterimon heard him and returned to the ground. He lowered himself so Reg could slip down if he wanted to.

Reg gets off of MegaKabuterimon, then runs up to Izzy and Luluco. "Who's this?"

"My name is Luluco, and I am of Space Patrol." She saluted.

"Pleasure to make your acquaintance," Izzy said. "But why are you here?"

"Well, we heard you guys needed some back up, so Hercules sent us down here." Luluco said.

"Hercules?" Reg asked, curiously.

"He's a legendary hero of Greek mythology, and he is working for the Agency right now." Luluco said.

And before that, Hercules did come, alongside others, which are three females and one male.

The first female is young and has strawberry blonde hair with large red hair bobbles and cerulean blue eyes. She wears a one-piece yellow and black striped long-sleeve suit, orange cat-like boxing gloves, white ankle socks and red shoes. This is Peashy, aka Yellow Heart.

The second female has shoulder-length auburn-brown hair that is bobbed and curved inwards at the ends, two longer clumps taking the same shape on either side of her face, and short bangs that reach roughly a quarter of the way down her forehead and auburn-brown eyes. She wears a skin-tight black suit with pale pink designs on it. This is Ochako Uraraka.

The third female has reddish-brown hair and blue eyes. She wears a white long-sleeve shirt, blue skirt, black almost-to-the-knee socks and brown loafers. This is Miki Hoshitsuki.

The male has light blonde hair and wears a purple short-sleeve vest, black pants and black boots. This is Hercules's friend, Iolaus.

"We'll happily take the extra help," Izzy said.

"Yeah, it's like a war out there," MegaKabuterimon said.

"Yeah, I can see that." Hercules looks at the battlefield.

"What now, Hercules?" Iolaus asked.

"We charge at them with everything we got." Hercules gets out his sword. "To battle!"

The extra people then charged at the Nazis.

Engel gets ticked at this. "I knew this was gonna happen. Quaritch, deal with them!"

"If you insist." Miles Quaritch gets out his laser gun and shoots at the Agents.

Iolaus blocks the attack with his sword and he has a sword fight with Quaritch, even though he has a gun in hand. Ochako used her quirk, Zero Gravity, on the Borgs, making them float up, but then she strikes them down, disabling them as a whole. Peashy punches one of the Borgs with her boxing gloves, while Miki shoots magical beams out of her hands, striking at the Borgs. Hercules used his strength and wits to attack the Borgs.

The others see this.

"Whippity Pow. We got some help." Katy said.

Scalpel gets up, then he crawls up to Kari. "Oh, Kari. Is zis a pleasure to see ye, hmm?"

Kari screams and runs away, trying to get back over to Tai. Angewomon hears her and dives down at Scalpel. She summons her bow of light and loads an arrow of light, then fires at him.

Scalpel jumped and dodged the arrow. "Ye zink ye can stop us, but ye can't. Ye're all too weak!"

Katy shoots Scalpel with the Big Impact Gun. "Bullseye."

A girl gets on top of the van truck.

This girl has short reddish-brown hair and yellow eyes. She wears a light brown hood with brown dog ears tipped with white and two white puffs on either side of her head, speckled with black, light-brown cape, white sleeveless top, light brown and white paw-like gloves, light brown and white dog tail, light brown shorts, white thigh-high socks, speckled with black and light brown and white shoes. This is Tama.

"Hello, everybody. Wanna play?" Tama smiled, playfully.

"Now what?" Tai asked as he watched the newcomer.

Tama then opens up a hole underneath Tai.

Tai cried out as he fell. MetalGreymon turned to him and reached into the hole with his metal claw and grabbed Tai, pulling him back up.

"What the heck was that?" Tai said as he tried to steady his nerves.

Tama then puts on a pouty face. "No fair. You're ruining my fun."

"What was so fun about that?" Tai called back. MetalGreymon stood up and put Tai on the top of his head. Tai held on tightly as MetalGreymon charged for Tama.

Tama sees this, then screams, then she jumps off of the van truck.

"Ooba!" Flandre grabs her chainsaw and gets out of the van truck quickly as MetalGreymon was charging at it.

MetalGreymon quickly realized he was about to charge into the truck and skidded to a halt, managing to stop just mere inches from the truck.

"Well that was a close one." Katy said.

Meanwhile, it seems that WereGarurumon has been surrounded by two mercenaries, Mael Radec and Vyktor Kratek.

"Let's see what you're made of." Mael and Vyktor got out their laser guns, pointing at WereGarurumon.

WereGarurumon lunged at them, his claws glowing as he slashed at them, crying out, "Wolf Claw!"

The mercenaries try to block the attack, but they get clawed at real good. One of them got slashed in the back, and it is revealed to be Milk, holding up her milk sword.

"Thought you might need a hand, pal." Milk smiled.

WereGarurumon smiled. "Thanks for that. Now, who else can we beat up on?"

"If there is anyone, then it could be me." A woman approached them, and so as a robot.

The woman has short dirty-blonde hair with wavy front strands and salmon-red eyes. She wears a white and dark green long-sleeve dress, white thigh-high socks and white boots and has red and blue roses behind her back. This is Cranberry, Musician of the Forest.

The robot is circular and has rabbit ears. The left side of her is black while the right side of her is white and has red eyes. This is Fav.

"And who the hell are you?" Milk asked, looking defensive.

"I am Fav, and this is Cranberry, pom. I am the mascot of the Magical Girl Raising Project, while Cranberry here is the creator of the project, pom."

Matt, who was standing nearby, noticed them and ran over to his partner. "You're the creator of the Magical Girl Raising Project?"

"That I am, boy." Cranberry smiled, evilly. "And if you want to live, I suggest you surrender now."

"Me? Surrender? Never!" Matt yelled and WereGarurumon leaped at Cranberry, using his Wolf Claw attack.

"Do the job." Cranberry said.

"Yes, pom." Fav then grew out mechanical hands and grabs at WereGarurumon, holding him up in the air.

WereGarurumon tried to use his Wolf Claw on the mechanical hands, hoping to break them.

"You can't use your attack on me, pom. My metal cannot break, pom. It is iron steel, pom." Fav said.

T.K., having seen what was happening, ran over along with Patamon. "Let them go," he cried out. "Get them, Patamon!"

Patamon digivolve into Angemon. He reared his hand back and punched the air, unleashing a beam of light at Fav.

"What the-" Fav got smacked by the Hand of Fate, releasing WereGarurumon from her grasp.

"Let's take them out," WereGarurumon said. "Attack!" He led the charge and aimed his claws at Fav. "Wolf Claw!"

Fav blocks the attack with the mechanical arms. "You can't beat me, pom!"

Cranberry snickered, then she created loud soundwaves.

Milk closes her ears. "Fuck that noise!"

WereGarurumon put his hands over his ears to try to block out the sound. His head pounded as it felt like his eardrums were about to burst.

Angemon grimaces but can't seem to raise his hands to attack. He lowers his staff and grits his teeth against the soundwaves.

Cranberry laughed, evilly. "You can't stand against my soundwaves! They can tear you apart!" She laughed some more.

"That is what you think!"

Cranberry got blasted, and the soundwaves stopped. It was Luluco who blasted her while she was in her Gun Morph Mode.

WereGarurumon charged and used his Wolf Claw, aiming at Cranberry.

Cranberry grow vines and block the Wolf Claw. "You can't be forgiven."

"No." A girl was behind WereGarurumon while he was still using Wolf Claw. "But you're a sadistic murderer, killing Magical Girls for fun."

This girl has short pale pink hair and brown eyes. She wears a dark brown ribbon with some pale pink blossoms on the left of her headband, white long-sleeve dress and white thigh-high boots. This is Snow White.

"I do it to be more powerful than them." Cranberry said.

"Who are you?" T.K. asked the girl.

"I am Snow White." She turned to T.K. "I was once a participant of the Magical Girl Raising Project."

"So, you were able to escape the project?" T.K. asked.

Snow White shook her head. "As long as Cranberry is still alive, I can't be able to escape it." She then turns to Cranberry. "And I must end her to end the project for good."

Cranberry snickered. "Please. That ain't gonna happen." She then throws WereGarurumon to a building, slamming him in the back.

WereGarurumon gasps when he hits the building, then drops to the ground, stunned. Angemon flew over and used his Hand of Fate, aiming at Cranberry.

Cranberry tried to block it, but got hit and then got slammed to the ground.

Snow White walks towards Cranberry. "I can't let you get away with killing Magical Girls. I CAN'T LET YOU!" She grabs out her stick spear and tries to stab Cranberry, but it seems that the villainous creator actually grabbed the spear, trying to save herself.

"Oh, villains can't die. They always live. Always." Cranberry said.

Snow White tries to stab Cranberry, but she gets thrown to the building by Wheatley.

Wheatley flew to them. "We might as well retreat. This doesn't look good."

Cranberry gritted her teeth. "You have to say that." She sighed. "Come, Fav."

"Yes, pom." Fav goes with Cranberry.

The villains have gotten to the ship, then gotten away.

Tai watched as they retreated and laughed. "That's right, get out of here!" he said.

"They will be back." Katy said.

"I'm not scared," Tai said. "You saw the way we took them out. They don't stand a chance against us."

Katy chuckled. "You have confidence there, Tai." She then turns to Kari. "Though now I'm a little bit worried about her. Her being a so-called reincarnation of the Light One."

Kari fidgeted with the whistle that dangled around her neck. "I don't think I'm a reincarnation of anything," she said. "I'm just a kid."

Ann rolled to them as a car, then transformed herself back into her rag doll self. "You can say that. We need to figure out why they might be after you and why they think you're the Light One. Because something's gonna bother me."

"Same here," Tai said with a nod. "I don't want those guys anywhere near my sister."

"We'll protect her," T.K. said. "She'll be fine with all of us looking out for her."

Meta-Verse Gatomon nodded. "Thanks, you guys."

Joe looked around at the destruction that had been caused by the fight. "Now what do we do?" he asked.

Katy sighed. "I'm not sure."

Snow White gets up, looking injured.

Matt ran over to her and helped her stand. "Are you okay?" he asked.

Snow White nodded. "I'm fine." She got up, with Matt's help.

"So, Snow White." Mary goes to her. "Does Ripple sound familiar to you?"

Snow White nodded.

"You know Ripple?" Matt asked. "Do you know if she's alright?"

"I'm not quite sure. But I do know her." Snow White looks sober. "She was the one that helped me while the Magical Girl Raising Project was going on. She's…a true friend of mine."

"Did she help you leave the Project?" WereGarurumon asked as he walked over to them. He de-digivolved back into Gabumon once he reached them.

Snow White smiled. "She did. Although the project isn't truly over, because Cranberry will always keep it going until I kill her. Or anyone can kill her. But, at least I have someone by my side. Always."

"We'll help you," Matt said. "We've got some beef with this Cranberry now, too."

Snow White nodded.

Reg came to them. "I'm glad everyone's okay."

"Is everyone accounted for?" Sora asked as she tried to do a headcount of their small army.

"Think so." Katy said.

Snow White looks at Reg, then sighed in relief. "You're alright."

"Yeah, I'm fine. Why?" Reg asked.

"Because…you promised me something."

Reg just looked at her, then his eyes widened. "Do I know you?"

"You forgot?"

Reg thinks. "This doesn't make sense. Do I…know her?"

Expect Surreal to be the ending theme throughout the first part of this arc. This should be the best arc yet. I do feel Arc 5 was a total downer, but at least it was still good though. I'm gonna have fun with Zavoren here. Next time, a certain student has transferred into the Meta-Verse Department Agency, and she might be Snow White. But more trouble brews when the Digidestineds' certain enemy returns...
