Universe jumping, as Jasmine Hel Potter pondered, was not a very ideal way of getting from place to place. The Master of Death had been very bored after the previous universe had all the pantheons as a real thing, including devils and angels. That had been something that would remain as a sexual tension driven location she would want to visit again but for now, she wanted more Sci-Fi. Death had put her into the Star Wars Universe, on the dead planet of Geonosis. Of course, in her many lives, she had gotten very knowledgeable on how to build things. Having gotten multiple engineering degrees and hands-on experience in other space based universes as well, she was confident in her knowledge on how to build stuff.
That was until she found one of the massive droid foundries and realized how much she didn't know about Star Wars engineering. Sure, it looked fun but it was going to be a long time before she could use it. She sighed, looking over the discarded droid bodies and other bits of metal and wiring that were scattered around. Death had told her this planet would be her new homeworld, as it had so much mechanical stuff to get her started on her new life in a galaxy far far away. However, Death had told her that she would be causing massive changes if she decided to get known by the larger galaxy.
She knew that and also knew that Palpatine, or Darth Sidious, wasn't an issue. If he did take issue, Death would take offense and take his void of a soul. Death was sort of overprotective of her, after the incident of Jump #3445. She pulled up the body of a Commando Droid before putting it on her new workspace, finding a still functioning datapad to connect to the holonet as well. Time for some remedial courses of space engineering, hopefully, she doesn't kill herself like she did several times in the Avatar universe.
Nearly fifteen years later, Jasmine was getting frustrated as one of the buzz droids gave its report to her in the universal language of binary. Buzz, as she had nicknamed the specialized droid, reported about the weakening structure in her latest project's prototype. A new type of B2 custom job, its body structure had been collapsing in on itself and she was starting to find it frustrating that it was not staying in one piece. She gritted her teeth before throwing a hydrospanner against the wall, letting out a frustrated scream before calming herself down.
"Look into plan #886-k, under the file name of Commando units," She sighed, looking at Buzz, "see if that armor of durasteel alloy would work better to support the shell of the B2-T."
Buzz rushed off like a demented spider, skittering away to do its job. Out of the shadows came a figure that looked like Grievous but if the Republic had gotten to him first. The smooth white armor shining in the beating sun of the Geonosis, the reptilian eyes looking at her with flatness of amusement. Qu'ell, the cloned version of the former living CIS general, tapped at the workshop table with a metal finger.
"You need to focus more on the here and now before you let your mind wander on prototypes that are not for the here and now."
Jasmine scowled before pulling up a schematic on her datapad before shoving it into her companion's prosthetic hands, "How about you start doing some work? I got another week of video editing to do before we do another video recording session on that AT-TE wreckage in the "Between the cannons: AT-AT vs AT-TE". Seriously, between the TIE Fighter fixer episode and the CIS Tank, I'm having the most trouble with getting these droids up to my standards!"
Qu'ell tilted his head before snorting, "I know, I'm your main video recorder and weapon tester."
Jasmine sighed before getting up, "Come on, lets see if we can get those umbarian tank legs connected to the body of the AT-AW."
Qu'ell hummed, "I still say that All Terrain Artillery Walker Walker is a tongue twister."
She huffed, the physical looking eighteen year old Master of Death pouted, "Not my fault someone took the AT-AP acronym."
"-And that is why I would suggest the Imperial Military start getting it into high gear to get teams of AT-AT walkers and AT-TE walkers together to work in tandem." The video of the young woman finished as General Veers frowned, having watched the latest video of the youholos channel called 'Droid Foundry Corp'.
The entire channel was tearing into the military and naval forces of all the previous and current regimes. The General of the Executor, also known as the Lady within its halls, put his datapad down as he pulled up another file on the numbers that the youth presented. He was sort of agreeing with her as he had been the general over a company of the AT-TE's near the end of the Clone wars before he went to the Imperial academy. He soon earned his place as the commander of an entire company of AT-AT walkers before his promotion to General by Lord Vader.
However, this young lady, a genius of an engineer, was saying something that had never occurred to him in his many years of service. He looked over the side report, as she called it, of the numbers and realized how much the pair of walkers complimented each other. Of course, she also had been using a modified AT-AT walker that several videos ago had been one of the MK II prototypes that would lead into the current AT-AT Walker design. Thankfully, the MK I was still out there. Of course, they were smaller than the current military walkers in production and had a back anti-air blaster.
However, those were used for city garrisons, not military campaigns. Back to the walker she used, it had more weapons built into it. Her walker had the two composite-beam laser turrets that had belonged on the LAAT/i, built into the insides of the main body. The two turrets were able to come out and give the sides of the walker full 180 degrees of coverage, so no ships could hit it with high end weapons. Not only that, the legs had been reinforced and were given toes to grip the earth so they couldn't be pushed if a massive bomb went off. The head also had more weapons on it that covered bases that he never thought of.
He was having his personal AT-AT walker redesigned with her specs, which she freely posted to a rather secure website that only credit paying followers could access. Veers had put a small chunk of his military pay to access it and was rewarded with hundreds of designs and other specs. From droids to military grade weapons, Veers was questioning why the Executor didn't have her on-board.
Oh right, she lived on Geonosis.
That fact sobered him to the core, the barren world that had been home to the Geonossians but now was a place where scrap was tossed as an insult to where the start of the Clone Wars had begun. However, if he could have Lord Vader bring her aboard…
He stood up and headed to where Vader's chambers were, datapad in hand. He knew that Vader would want a very competent person under his command, unless you were one Admiral Ozzel. The incompetent man was only still around as he, somehow, was able to stay alive through some force cursed luck. But, Ozzel wouldn't be around much longer if Veer's knew the signs. Ozzel was going to be replaced with Firmus Piett, due to the incompetent fools many failures over the many months.
He moved into the corridor that would lead him to the lifts, heading down into the ship. He prayed to whatever force given deity that Vader would allow him to send an invitation to the young woman that was creating these machines and weapons. Kriff, Darth Vader may want her as his head engineer.
Might need her if Ozzel doesn't cause the end of the Lady first.
