I'll leave that day open
"Kyle?" Stan said to his boyfriend.
They were sitting next to each other in the school cafeteria.
Kyle looked up from his notebook to look at Stan. He was smiling. "Yes?"
Stan looked away for a second, suddenly blushing, then looked at Kyle again. "I- I know you're all busy with studying and all but… I… you know, if…"
Kenny, who sat on the other side of the table, grinned wide at his friends. He knew exactly what Stan was about to say. And when Stan couldn't force it out himself, Kenny just had to help him.
"Stan, why can't you just say; 'would you like to go on a date with me'?" Kenny rested his head against his hand and just grinned.
Stan lowered his head, blushing even more.
Butters, who sat next to Kenny, quickly grabbed him hand pulled him away from the table. "Why don't we just leave those two alone?"
Kyle looked with surprised when Butters and Kenny left, and then at Stan, who was hiding his face in his hands.
"Stan…"
"Don't say anything! I already know what you're thinking!" Stan said with a loud voice, still not showing his face.
Kyle made a short laugh and smiled. "Stan… you don't need to hide your face." He grabbed his boyfriends chin and pulled his face up so they could see into each other's eyes.
"So, should I take it like Kenny said and assume you're trying to ask me out?" He smiled.
Stan tried to hide his face again, still all red. "If- if you don't want to, then fine!"
"Of course I do!" Kyle said quickly. "If I get to be with you for a whole day again, like before, back in elementary school and middle school, I'll make sure to leave that day open!" Kyle smiled widely.
Stan looked at him, gave him a little smile and then rested his head against his shoulder. Kyle placed a small kiss on Stan's forehead.
"You know what?" Stan said, and kissed Kyle on the lips. "I love you."
"I love you, too." Kyle said hugging his boyfriend tightly. "Next time, make sure that you're the one to ask me out, I'd love to see you blush to death."
