Bio-Android Saga

Arrival Arc

Chapter Two

Reunited and at Odds

Hell Shell Mountain, Medical Lab..

"Wait, what's so fucking funny?" Sameera asked her friends in annoyance as they continued to laugh at her previous statement.

"The fact one of your pressing questions is why your skin is pink is what's so funny, Meera. Although, I hate to break it to you but you aren't human anymore, not mostly."

"Alright, not that that wasn't already totally obvious. How long has it been since we should have died with whatever was going on back home?"

Sonia hummed. "It's only been ten days. But I don't think you could tell how much time was passing in that pod, could you?"

"No, I had no idea. And with her antagonizing me, I always found it simpler just to go back to sleep instead. Why aren't any of you guys freaking out over everything that is admittedly odd in this world?"

Tara shrugged. "We got used to it, using the memories of these variants of us to keep away suspicion otherwise. When it's just us, we talk about home."

"Yeah, and Nick's taken to this world like he was born here, although maybe that's because of his alien DNA?"

Sameera looked at her quizzically. "Hold up. Nick isn't even technically human here?"

The other two both shook their heads. "No, what we mean is that he is human, or humanoid. But he's half Saiyan, which is one of many alien races that not only exist here but are regular visitors to Earth. We also have living dinosaurs, although they don't resemble much of what we know as dinosaurs and also Beastmen."

"Beastmen? Like, actual anthropomorphic animals?"

"Yes, and I have a hunch you can only say that so perfectly because of your Android status. But, you're more functional than an iPhone, so.."

"Don't tease her, Tara. The point is, Nick is still Nick. You are still you. All of us are still ourselves, we just have more about ourselves from it. I mean, you saw Leo, right? The guy is reptilian, to a point, being from Namek far out in space. Just like the Saiyan homeworld, actually."

Sameera nodded. "Okay, that makes enough sense, I guess. But, what memories are you guys talking about? I don't remember anything about this world other than what would be essential to me as one of Dr. Botchili's Androids."

That confused the other two. "Really? You don't remember being best friends with Nick when we were all just kids?"

"I do! But, other than knowing we were close, I don't have any other memories of before my transformation, conversion, however you want to call it."

Tara cursed. "That means I'm going to have to find and destroy whatever Botchili did to your mind to block old memories. Nick's been depressed about your disappearance ever since, and it must have been almost twelve years ago now, because I met him in this world a couple of years after you were taken. But you already knew about that, having heard our conversation this morning. Why hasn't this thing told me you were awake?" She inspected her smart watch.

"Because as you said, I'd have to be struggling to get free. I've just laid here very patiently waiting for you two. Although I guess Genesis wouldn't be the worst one to have over here, since she's involved, too. Is all this just from this world?"

Sonia and Tara looked at each other nervously. "Um.. no, actually, but none of us knew about Genesis before our memories of this world started really coming to us."

"Who's talking about me?" Came Genesis' voice as she slipped into the room.

"Speak of the devil, she shall appear." Sameera muttered under her breath. Her and Genesis had never really gotten along well, but Gen was usually a voice of reason within their group. It fit that her new memories included Genesis and her defection from the Black Pendant Army, being a product of the regime herself.

"Oh, she's awake. We are sure this is our Meera, right? I wouldn't put it past her evil side to try and lull us into a false sense of security." Genesis smirked at the restrained Android. "Couldn't Nick have just finished you off?"

Sameera gasped. "Fucking bitch! Since when did you even catch feelings for Nicky?" Sameera said, fighting the urge to try and escape her bindings, her endgame strangling the redhead.

Genesis giggled. "At least I didn't attack Nick the first chance I got." Tara and Sonia looked at her with deadpan expressions. "Alright, I did, but I was under orders and-"

"Oh, like I wasn't?" The three looked at Sameera, who now sported one violet eye and one black. "At least I didn't defect like you, you worthless pile of.. No, wait, I'm not.. done..!" The black eye shut and opened rapidly for a moment before opening up as Sameera's natural violet. "Stay the fuck out of here!" She panted, the effort of overtaking her other side taxing. "Sorry. She's going to get.. some getting used to."

Tara sighed. "I need to get you fixed up. Firstly, though, I really need that data from Botchili's experiments."

"We'll get it. We have to. So, what have I missed in this conversation?"

"Not much, really. Meera apparently has no memories of this world from before she was taken as a child, but we're pretty sure that's just because Botchili installed some form of mental block to keep her from attacking Nick in the first place. Although, her kidnapping was before Nick even fought the Black Pendant Army, so there has to be more to that story, right?"

"It's probably to do with Nick's father, the Saiyan none of our group know other than Master Kiyoshi, Old Yagi and probably Leonis. It would make sense Botchili would go after his family since Nick's father has been dead since he was a baby."

"That's true. Alright then, so let's change the subject a bit. Sameera, Tara told me you were going to confess to Nick when we were all in danger of dying in the other world. Is that true?"

Sameera nodded. "Yeah, but if I'd gone through with it right, I'd have both told him and kissed him while we 'died'." She couldn't move her hands so the air quotes were uselessly acted about at her sides.

"Yeah, I could see that. Well, at this rate, you've got a long way to go before you're even somewhat ready to try anything with him, not that the three of us will make it easy for you. In this world, we are the ones Nick truly cares for. He wouldn't have unlocked that form without thinking you had killed Tara and Sonia. Night, girls. I'm gonna hit the hay before something else happens."

"Yeah, alright, Gen. Night."

"Night, Genesis."

"I hope you choke in your sleep from the weight of your tits!" Sameera said, fully herself but definitely channeling her dark self's rage.

Genesis smirked at Sameera as the door slid open for her to leave. "Speak for yourself. Seems like your creator was a pretty big pervert." And she left, even as Sameera thrashed in the gurney, her efforts futile as she knew deep down she wasn't really angry with Genesis. It was she who kept her feelings for Nick a secret for so long that she literally died keeping them secret. Although Genesis was probably right as well, Sameera's tits were practically blown-up balloons here compared to back in the other world. Ugh, I hate her..

Tara sighed then. "It is starting to get late. Sameera, try and get some sleep. And think really hard about your past here. There's a chance not everything pertaining to that time was locked away to you."

"Yeah, I will, Tara. And thank you. You.. you don't have to do this. You guys can take care of Nick without me, he doesn't need me."

"Aw, Meera, where's all this coming from, then? We told you, we talked about this. And Nick still wants you close, so all that's left to do is purge that programming from your.. mind? Systems? Jeez, I don't even know how much if any of you is actually cybernetics. You could be called an Android but Botchili possibly created you using genetic splicing instead of grafting mechanical parts. It would explain why you have a purely organic form, even if you are just a few shades lighter than magenta."

"Ugh, why did it have to be pink? I couldn't have even a regular fucking skin tone?"

"Regular is subjective here. I saw a guy in my neighborhood in Crystal City who was legit born with tomato red skin, no excessive habit of eating the damn vegetable. It doesn't matter though, Meera. You're at least half of some species of alien, there's no doubt about that. But, frankly speaking, you're still hot as hell and whether it was you or the other side of your mind now, you were making some pretty suggestive statements while you and Nick were trying to kill each other."

Sameera's face flushed crimson. "I.. I know. I'm pretty sure some of me bled into her, but she's pretty deeply conditioned."

"Not forever, she's not. Not if she hopes to ever actually get free of those restraints as well as from under Botchili's bullshit. Pretty sure her programming is more than self-aware enough to know she didn't have to even obey her own directive. Anyway, night."

"Night, Meera. And don't worry, we'll all get you back to your old self in no time." Sonia said, smiling as she followed Tara out of the small lab.

"Goodnight.." Sameera muttered as the door slid closed. She looked into a mirror attached to the gurney, seeing her other half's black eyes looking back at her. "Oh, fuck. Really?"

The evil side of her smirked, one fanged incisor sticking over her bottom lip. "I told you, honey. You can't get rid of me."

"Then you heard everything, I presume?" The dark-eyed twin nodded. "Then what's your take on all this?"

"I think you and the rest of our friends are pussies."

Sameera rolled her eyes. "Anything constructive, maybe?"

"Ugh, fine. Be no fun. What do you want me to say? That it sounds good to disobey while I know it's impossible? Botchili put in safeguards against other Androids going rogue."

A memory popped into Sameera's mind, one she knew didn't belong to her at all, of a hulking figure standing behind what she could only imagine was a much younger Nick, standing off against Black Pendant Army members. "Shouldn't matter. Worst case scenario, we have to stay here until the others can find a way to take care of such safeguards."

"Their best chance is by wishing them away with the Dragonballs. The problem with that plan lies in the fact Tara and Nick just used them to find us, meaning there is another year before the Dragonballs return to their wish-granting form. Right now, they would be searching for nothing but regular old rocks."

Sameera sighed. "Well, I don't want to be strapped to this bed for a fucking year because of you, so what are we going to do about it?"

The darker Visage frowned. "The fuck you want me to say? Eleven days ago, you weren't even a part of me. And now I'm just supposed to.. what, exactly? Work with you? I'll just go and self-destruct now."

"You wouldn't dare! You wouldn't be able to come back to kill Nick, then, if that's really what you want."

"Of course it isn't!" The other Sameera shouted, pouting. "I don't have a fucking choice in the matter!"

Sameera smirked. "So you do feel something for him! And for your supposedly so advanced mental capabilities, would you believe that everyone has a choice? Case in point, go look at whatever we have pertaining to Genesis and her defection from the Black Pendants. That alone proves it isn't totally necessary if you don't want to!"

"That's another problem then, isn't it? I want to follow my orders. It's all I know."

"Well then your knowledge base is shit, Android brain be damned. So what, then? We're just going to be at a standstill about this?"

"Only solution as of right now, because I'm not backing down from my orders. I have to prove myself-"

"So that's what this is all actually about? Some fucked up form of daddy issues for the man who literally kidnapped us years ago?! What the fuck?!" Sameera was rightly furious with herself. "That's stupid!"

"Yeah? And what would you do in the exact same case as I am? No memories, but my feelings of such things from the past persist and now only knowing the purpose you were given, and knowing you're good at it."

Sameera frowned. She didn't have an answer that she herself found satisfactory. "I.. I don't know, but sometimes it isn't about orders or purpose. Sometimes, it's all about how you feel and what those feelings tell you to do. It's called intuition, everyone has it."

The dark Visage clicked her tongue. "I know what intuition is, silly girl! You felt the way I was holding back, despite not wanting to."

"I did, and that's exactly why I know you don't have to be an evil bitch. We don't have to be that person. But that means you need to woman up and do what you want, not what your programming tells you that you do."

The darker half of herself stayed silent, much to Sameera's annoyance as she scoffed, deciding to end the conversation there. She had to try and get some sleep, figure herself out a little more if she could.

Late That Night..

Nick was thoroughly confused as to why he was suddenly wide awake and knowing something was different, although he couldn't figure out what since him and the others had only been at Shell Hell Mountain for a day or so. As he sat up, he realized that the feeling was power, more specifically someone's power fluctuating. He looked around, trying to pinpoint- at the least- the direction the spike in power was from, only to further recognize it as his own chi had already met this other force in battle. Meera.. Without another thought, Nick had rushed out of the room to make sure his friend was alright.

He hadn't been the only one, as Genesis appeared to be heading in the same direction, although her steps were more casual than Nick's. "I figured you'd wake up from it. Any idea what's going on with our girl?"

Nick shook his head. "Not a single clue. Something about her energy told me to get up."

"You too? Weird, I thought it was just me. Well, it can't necessarily be good, now can it?"

"With Sameera's new, highly volatile personality? High probability against it."

The two stayed quiet until the lab where Sameera was being held. Opening the door, the most obviously wrong thing was that Sameera wasn't conscious at all as her power seemed to be leaking out of her. "What the..? The hell could be wrong?" He asked as he went over to the monitor Sameera was hooked up to.

The readout on the screen momentarily stumped Nick, before he realized it was due to his heritage in this world, as Saiyans weren't the most technologically savvy. Nick huffed and concentrated as he typed commands into the keyboard, the screen changing until it started scrolling the relevant information. Surprisingly, the computer systems Sameera was hooked up to allowed her brain to interface directly with the system (Tara and her family's genius astounded most for its ingenuity and overall success rate) and diagnose exactly what was going on.

"Wait.. what?" Nick and Genesis looked at each other worriedly as Nick explained. "She's having a panic attack, but I don't think it's conscious. Look, this line of code is saying that her mind intercepted a message coming from.. Planet Vegeta? Why the hell does that sound so familiar?"

"It's the homeworld of the Saiyans, Nick. Your ancestral homeworld. But, then why would Sameera.. No."

"What is it, Gen?"

"Look, it says right here." She was pointing to a small section that was labeled as B-A009- Genetic Makeup. "Sameera is half-Saiyan, too. Originally, at least. Something about that message.. scared her, maybe?"

"Scared her? A badass Android who prides herself on being powerful? I doubt scared is a word in her vocabulary."

"Well, whatever it is, she is afraid. Her power wouldn't be.. pulsing like it is otherwise. I've only ever felt that sensation once, with Psyhawks." Psyhawks were birds that scientists had studied extensively for their understanding of human emotions, and when they felt fear a Psyhawk would release psychic energy in such a similar manner to Sameera at that moment.

Sameera's eyes snapped open as she looked around the room, her eyes two different colors and darting around at everything. "Father.. Dad's coming.. King Himura." She slumped back onto the bed, the pulsing energy stopping as she did so.

Nick looked at Genesis. "She just said the words father and king in a single statement, right?"

Genesis nodded. "More or less.. That might explain why she felt afraid, but.. why would her dad scare her so badly? You don't think she finally remembered something about her life in this world, do you?"

Nick shook his head. "I couldn't tell you, Gen. I don't think I ever met her dad, but that keeps adding to her, doesn't it? Me and her are both naturally half-Saiyan, and now Sameera is royalty? Things are becoming so.. so different, things back home seem so simple compared to these new lives of ours. Fighting her," Nick glanced back at Sameera. "I barely had any idea of what I was doing. I relied on pure muscle memory, but I can't keep fighting on memory alone. Not with what I had to do just to get the upper hand on Meera."

"Nicky.." Genesis sighed, leaning her head on his shoulder. "You never give yourself enough credit, you know?" She asked him tiredly.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Exactly what I said. It's your heart, as huge as its always been. You made a school bully into an admirer, for God's sake and all you did was be yourself." She was talking about herself.

The other girls didn't bring it up around her because of how Genesis herself regarded those days, but until high school had started, Genesis had bullied Nick pretty relentlessly, although her reasons were clearer now with the similar contrast where in this world she defected from the enemy for Nick. Nick chuckled. "You just didn't see your worth, Genny." Genesis blushed, it was the only nickname she let Nick and only Nick call her.

"Sometimes, I still think I don't. You're really thinking about giving all this confusing relationship shit a chance?"

Nick nodded. "Yeah, maybe. It would be a big change, for the four of us."

"Five," Genesis sighed. "We can't hold Meera exempt for what she can't help happened to her."

Laughing, Nick nodded. "Right. Can't have that, especially not with her new sense of self. How long do you think we have until her dad shows up?"

Genesis shrugged. "Wouldn't know. I know Planet Vegeta is way out there in the galaxy, but I'm sure they have their ways of getting here that will be quicker than any of us even think. I just hope this King Himura isn't on the warpath for his daughter."

"It won't matter. I spent most of our lives looking for her, I will make sure she stays safe, even from her father. He has a lot of explaining to do for not tearing this planet apart looking for her years ago."

"You're not going to try and fight the king of all Saiyans when he gets here just for your own pride, are you?"

"While it's true Saiyans are a very prideful race- even so much as to be self-destructive- this isn't about pride. It's about a parent's responsibility to their child, to protect them and, God forbid, tear the world apart ensuring their safety in such situations as her original kidnapping. Even if I can't win, he'll know the truth behind my words as he feels the will behind my punches."

Genesis hummed. "Martial artist you is sexy as fuck, but also equally scary." The two shared a quiet laugh as they kept vigil over Sameera, just in case another attack occurred.

Capsule Manufacturing..

Gerald Lazard, founder of Capsule Manufacturing and Tara's father, scratched the side of his mustache as he watched the distant pair of lights grow steadily closer by the moment. He was joined on the rooftop helipad of the company by Master Kiyoshi and Old Yagi as well as Neela Negron and Tyrese Farrow, father of Sonia. The only one of the elder generation not present other than Nick's deceased father was old Leonis, who was for most cases unable to leave his home at the top of the Lookout above the Tower of Giru. "That's all of us, then?" Lazard asked Kiyoshi, who nodded.

"Yes, Leonis will contact us using his telepathy once Himura has landed. I wish this was under better circumstances.."

"We can't do much better than 'hey, we found your daughter' when it comes to the circumstances. Sameera is indisposed and Himura will be out for Botchili's blood. Or oil, whichever now truly runs through his veins." Neela scoffed.

"I figure we just need to get the king alone with Nick for a few minutes. Maybe they fight, but Himura is ten times more likely to listen to Nick than any of us. Saiyan pride and all that."

"Either way, we must proceed with caution here. Himura is welcome to gunt Botchili, but his daughter's condition will be best monitored here on Earth. Tara's medical and analytical systems are top notch, even for a teenager." Gerald said with pride.

"And my son will make a fool out of himself." Neela sighed. "But, that's the risk of raising a Saiyan, their anger and pride can both be hurtful."

"Yes, that is true. Nela, I keep forgetting to ask, but he hasn't been outside during a full moon yet, correct?"

Neela frowned. "No, never. I strictly keep him indoors during the full moon phase."

"Himura may not like that fact, as he'll probably go looking for Nick right away." Kiyoshi said, looking at the full moon in the night sky.

"But he's at Hell Shell, right? You told me no one would be able to sense them there."

"No one from Earth would find them, but the Saiyans are able to find each other in ways we still don't understand, even after decades of sharing knowledge between our two races. Nick, even Sameera would be trackable by way of the king if he so wills it."

The spaceship landed- more or less- above the adults, a circular hatch opening on the underside of the disk-shaped craft. From the hole floated down three Saiyans, all dressed in standard Saiyan armor. The man in the lead of the group also had on a regal cape that fluttered in the wind atop the huge circular facility that was Capsule Manufacturing. The two behind him kept their heads bowed slightly, making it even more obvious this first man was the ruler of the Saiyans: King Himura. The king looked at Kiyoshi and Gerald seriously for several tense moments before that mood evaporated as the king bellowed out a laugh and wrapped his arms around the two. "Ah! Gerald! Kiyoshi! It's been too long. Now, tell me why this message you sent sounded like it was of the utmost importance to come back to Earth. We shall have time to catch up later."

"Welcome back, your highness. I hope the trip wasn't too unbearable." Neela greeted with a smile, Bowing in respect to Himura.

The Saiyan king looked at Neela and gasped. "It can't be. Is that you, Neela? Look at you! It seems even losing my old lieutenant couldn't bring you down."

"Oh, there were plenty of dark days, believe me, Himura. Elias lives on in our son, so he's never truly left us here."

The king nodded with a soft smile. "Yes, you're right. If you ever need anything, Neela, my offer then still stands. Where is Nick? I figured my honorary son would be here to greet me as well."

Neela laughed nervously as Gerald cleared his throat. "Actually, Himura, that's part of the reason we called you to Earth. You see, there have been some new developments around here as of late, and some required us to contact you."

The King's more jovial smile was replaced by his serious, all-business one. "What's happened? Summoning the king of all Saiyans is not a decision you Earthlings make easily."

"With all due respect, Himura, a single Saiyan of average power for your world could render this planet a lifeless husk on a bad day. We rather like our planet alive, thank you."

"Yes, I can see your point. We Saiyans are particularly volatile. So what has happened, then?"

"The Black Pendant Army has started their old tricks up again," Himura frowned, him and Nick's father Elias had both been present on Earth during the brunt of the original wave of war against the Black Pendants. "Botchili has resurfaced, and he's created more Androids." The Saiyan king's eyes narrowed. "And we've finally found your daughter, all of which are connected to why Nick is not present, although he wouldn't anyway. He has yet to experience true loss of control."

"What are you saying? You mean Nick has not made the Oozaru transformation, yet?" Neela shook her head. "I guess I can see why, the Great Ape can be very overwhelming and unstoppable.. but why else would.. Where was my princess?"

"You already know what I'm about to tell you, so I really shouldn't. But, yes, Botchili was the one who kidnapped Sameera and has since transformed her into an almost unstoppable Bio-Android. Using her Saiyan ability to heal and fight on, he also threw in a bit of everything else it seems. Namekian, Majin, even the alien race you've warned us about. All in one package, and she can be devastating. It took Nick ascending to knock her unconscious enough to get her away from Botchili."

"Nick.. ascended.. You mean my little girl made Nick have to fall into anger? But, she'd never-"

"Botchili has fractured her mind, according to the short report my daughter wrote up after everything went down. It seems there are two minds living in her body, Sameera's own as well as a dark, twisted version that was in control during her and Nick's fight. We've since moved Sameera to a highly secure.. location.." Gerald sighed as Himura looked in the direction of Hell Shell Mou tain and took off without another word. "Fucking Saiyans, always running off without the whole story."

"We should probably follow him. If he breaks that base open and Nick gets a good look at the moon.."

"Yeah, everyone inside the ship. We're driving." Said one of Himura's bodyguards as the entire group climbed into the large ship.

Despite the clear sky, it was raining around Hell Shell Mountain as Nick and Genesis looked out of one of the concealed windows down to the world below them. "It's a beautiful night, despite the rain." Genesis said, sighing.

Nick nodded as he looked at her. "Not as beautiful as you and the other girls are to me, Gen. Listen, I'm sorry I haven't really been forthcoming with my feelings about all of this, but.. what is that?" He asked suddenly, looking out the window.

Genesis followed his sight and saw the strange light that seemed to be getting closer by the second. "Isn't that a person.. Nick, watch out!" She pushed Nick out of the path of the speeding form, but it veered to the side where it lined up with Nick anyway as the teen had no time between hearing the glass of the windows shatter as if they were paper and the pressure around his throat as his eyes met those of the older Saiyan who now had his hand around Nick's throat.

The older man flew straight through the mountain, Nick only feeling the pain with each new wall he hit, as well as the air-stealing slam against the wet ground. The man stood, the rain falling on him as Nick struggled to get up. "What the fuck is your problem, then?"

King Himura frowned. "You do not speak to the king of all Saiyans in that tone, young Saiyan."

Nick recognized the nickname from several very early memories of his life here, meaning this man in front of him was.. "King Himura?! Why the hell are you attacking me?!"

"To see the strength you possess. For a half-Saiyan, you manage to consistently surprise me, Nick. Where is Sameera?"

Nick looked towards the mountain behind Himura. "She's up there, resting and trying to-as far as I can tell- fix the fracture in her mind. How did you get here so fast?"

"Your mother and our old allies sent me a message saying Sameera had been found, I wasted no time coming back to Earth. What has that despicable human done to my daughter?" The king took a fighting stance against the young man, for whatever reason suited the ruler.

Nick sighed as he took a battle stance as well. "Too much to stand here fighting about!"

Meanwhile, the damage to the hidden base alerted Sonia and Tara, who joined Genesis where Himura had crashed to the ground with Nick. "What the hell happened, Genesis?"

"Sameera's father.. that's him." Genesis pointed towards where the two Saiyans stood on the ground far below. "He just attacked Nick."

"He's just looking for answers.. Meera?" Tara said as she looked at her watch, the device now trilling.

"Let's go." Sonia said, the other two nodding before they rushed up to the small lab.

"The hell's going on out there?!" Sameera practically squeaked, having been woken up by the sounds of destruction close by, as the three girls walked in.

"Your father's arrived, Meera. And he's outside right now, fighting Nick for whatever damn reason."

"My father..? Oh, God. Girls, I remember. I remember that I'm.."

"Crowned princess of the Saiyan race? Yeah, Nick and I figured it out a couple of hours ago. Strangely, although you and Nick knew each other so well before he met any of the rest of our friends in this world, Nick had no idea about that fact. Or if he did, he hid it well. That doesn't change the fact that your dad seems out for blood and it looks like Nick is the target."

"Of course he is!" Genesis said, smacking herself in the forehead. "Oh, he literally told me as much. Nick feels responsible for Sameera and what happened to her. And it seems like the king has picked up on that."

"You can't possibly be suggesting that he literally tossed our man out the window for a spar? Thats insane." Tara said. "There has to be a better way to.. fuck!"

"What now, Tara?" Sonia asked, following her friend's gaze up to the huge full moon in the sky. "It's just the moon."

Genesis gasped. "Oh, no. No it really isn't. It's just the moon to us humans. But for Nick? Having the Saiyan tail means something is about to happen." The trio looked out at where Nick and Himura stood, Sameera freaking out as they all felt an immense power growing from the ground. It was Nick.

~DBZU~

"Tell me something, Nick. Why couldn't you save her before any of this?" Himura said as he threw a punch at Nick, the teen flipping backwards to avoid the attack.

"She was taken in the dead of night, Himura! If you had been on Earth you would have stopped them yourself. Meera and I were just kids, we didn't have the experience to deal with fighters like that at the time. I failed her but I've been living with that regret ever since!" Nick started tossing punch after punch, Himura dodging them with ease because of Nick's anger-induced sloppiness in his fighting.

Himura stopped Nick's punches with one hand, sending the boy flipping backwards again. Then, in one swift movement, Himura grabbed Nick's tail, making the teen freeze in place. "How careless, keeping your tail out like that. It's a miracle it hasn't happened already." The king looked up at the sky.

Nick followed his gaze, the teen's eyes being the only part of him he could readily move. Why's he looking at the.. moon?! What's.. happening..? Suddenly, he felt his bones grow before suddenly snapping, bit by bit, all along his body as Himura dropped Nick to the ground.

"It's a beautiful night, isn't it? Not often the moon on Earth is this big, but when it is, something inside you just wants to rage, doesn't it, young one? Your mother never saw the validation behind some of our kind's more.. Savage abilities and the boons they grant us as Saiyans after activation. I apologize in having you experience such things forcefully, but that bastard stole my daughter out from under everyone's thumbs all thise years ago. And before I see her- thanks to you, I've heard- I need to know if her chosen Guardian is truly up to snuff. Be glad you managed to go Super Saiyan so easily. Most of our kind cannot access such power, even those as experienced as myself or other top military officials back home. This is for your own good, son. Try not to destroy too much." Himura said before rushing off as Nick screamed in pain as he transformed, everyone at the mountain base looking on in shock as the rest of the parents arrived.

Neela was the first one out of the ship and angrily walked up to the Saiyan king before she slapped him across the face hard enough that the teens heard it the few hundred meters away from the adults. "You bastard! Sameera is indisposed and I don't know if the others are enough for him to regain himself! Why the hell do you always think it necessary to meddle in how I raise my goddamned son?!"

Himura looked at Neela and smirked, an action which was one statement away from ending up in him being pummeled by the smaller woman. Earthling she may have been, but Neela Negron possessed a fighting spirit that sent some of his own men down to their knees in surrender. But, that was the power of women, he reckoned. "You may not feel it is necessary, but I assure you it is. Has Nick been having any issues lately? Particularly with anger?"

"Be that as it may, it does not give you the right to-"

"If he didn't experience the transformation just once, Neela, then Nick's anger would spiral out of control and create a new higher force of destruction. One God is bad enough right now, thank you. What I mean to say is that the Great Ape transformation is a way to- initially- neutralize the somewhat overbearing anger us Saiyans can feel in the heat of the moment, as I've no doubt you have all seen Nick fight through without such help. Becoming a Super Saiyan requires a load of very heavy emotional trauma, and that trauma can sometimes begin firing off as anger more often than not outside of combat, and this in turn I have seen turn the most seasoned veterans into whimpering puppies or worse, raging hulks that require more.. extreme means to deal with. My point is that I will only keep him transformed for a short while. With my daughter found but in need of.. rehabilitation, I believe Gerald spoke of, I will be staying on Earth indefinitely, with the good professor and my best technicians working together to ensure I can still be there for my planet lest something happen. And with that, I must lend a hand in the training of who would otherwise be considered my godson in the arts he is lacking due to his father not being around anymore. I wasn't the best father before, I understand that and have lived with those decisions, but not anymore. Even if Sameera has no need for me anymore."

Neela sighed. "I understand you want Nick to be ready to fight anything that comes at him, but that isn't how we do things here, and Nick is as much Earthling as Saiyan. And as his mother, I have full rule over what he does and does not do. Now fix this! Before he somehow accesses the Super Saiyan power in that form. You would be unable to do anything against him if he did, your power can barely register higher than a Super Saiyan's own as it is, isn't that how you once described it?"

The Saiyan king clicked his tongue. "Earth women are much too interesting, it's a wonder we never moved the populace here permanently. Fine, I will ensure he doesn't destroy everything in the vicinity, but he needs this, Neela. Everything is under control."

Thirty Minutes Later..

"Oh, yeah. Under control, right?" Neela said as Himura's bodyguards were all flying around the now giant Great Ape Nick, trying to stop the beasts tantrum.

Himura sighed. "Alright, I didn't give Nick enough credit. His power astounds me."

In the lab chamber, Sameera rubbed her wrists where the straps on the gurney had been, pouting as she looked at the devastation on the ground below. "That's Nick?! What the hell happened?"

"Your father grabbed him by his tail and made him look at the moon. Then, he became that beast."

"Wait, then that's..?" Sameera had another old memory pop into her head, herself at the age of probably three or four with her father telling her of the ancestral transformation of the Saiyan race. "The Oozaru, the Great Ape. Protector spirit of the Saiyan race, and one that lives inside us all." Her hand went to the space over her heart, her eyes looking at her now not Saiyan tail. Maybe I can't get possessed by the spirit, then?

"You're just a fountain of knowledge now, aren't you?" Tara teased the pink-skinned girl, who narrowed her eyes at her best friend.

"Fuck off, Tara. I can still try and turn you into chocolate. I am rather hungry lately."

"Enough you two. How do we help him? He isn't going to stop rampaging, he's lived with the guilt over Meera being kidnapped for so long already." Genesis said, frowning and wringing her hands, hating the feeling of being useless.

Sameera sighed. "It has to be me." She said, taking a step onto nothing as her feet concentrated her chi at her feet and created platforms on the bottoms of her shoes.

"Sameera, no! He could squash you into powder in that form." Tara said, ready to subdue Sameera from going any further towards the rampaging ape that was Nick. "And we have no idea how in control of yourself you really are, we can't risk you flying off the handle again."

Sameera shook her head. "I'll be fine. Sam and I.. I think I hit a nerve with her, she won't bother me unless she thinks it necessary. For now, at least. And, it seems I'm immune to the transformation now, being a mix of too many things at once. Plus, it's me. Whether in his right mind or not, he'll pull his punches on me, he has that innate sense of guardianship that I initially gravitated towards him for as kids. That's why I know he won't really hurt me, even if he really wants to."

Tara sighed. "I don't like it. Again, you are a ticking time bomb, Meera. And Sam?"

"I have to call her something. Plus, being half of me, referring to her by half of our shared name seems fitting enough. Now are tough going to let me go or not? You know I'm faster than you could even reach that button to subdue me, if it even works on the amalgamation of species that makes up my current DNA."

Tara wanted to say something but Sonia beat her to it. "It's alright, Tara. Nick is smarter than any of us usually give him credit for, but remember it isn't us that keeps him so focused."

Genesis nodded. "That's right. As much as we hate admitting it, Meera is the only one close to being on par with Nick, and therein the best to deal with this problem. Now, please, just let her go before Nick decides the mountain needs to be destroyed entirely. I already have to assess the damage caused by the king bolting through the windows and snatching Nick so we know what needs to be fixed."

"Ugh, fine. Nut first sign of Sam emerging and I'm shutting it down, Meera."

Sameera rolled her eyes. "Fine, fine. Best behavior." She said before disappearing from her spot just outside the broken window.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?"

"Oh, it's definitely an idea. Whether or not it's good will show itself." Sighing, the three girls went to work assessing the damage done to the base, even while all glancing back towards the unfolding battle below.

"Nicky!" Sameera called, feeling fearful of the sheer difference in size between her and Nick currently, the Android girl no bigger than the bridge of Nick's Great Ape form's nose. "Nick, it's me! Stop this!" She shouted out to the giant monkey.

Nick, while hearing and understanding his childhood friend, only saw red as he continued stomping and thrashing his arms out, leveling giant redwood trees and spires of rock with little effort given. Nick let out a deafening roar before swiping his huge hand out at Sameera.

The girl scoffed as she got out of the way, barely. "Come on, Nick. You didn't give up on me, I'm not giving up on you!" Sameera shot off a volley of ki blasts which only seemed to annoy the beast further. "Fuck." She said before getting caught by Nick's other hand, careening through the air at nearly sonic speed as she crashed into a spire of rock with a cloud of dust forming on impact.

With the adults, Himura looked at the newcomer to the fight, eyes narrowed. "This power.. Sameera?! You weren't kidding about her being part Majin now. I thought she was out of commission, for lack of a better term?"

Neela sighed. "She is, but they're our kids, Himura. Saiyans don't give up, and Sameera is ready to show that she isn't just what Botchili recreated her as. She has as much reason to be the one to stop Nick as he had when they fought each other. Plus, with all the power she would be assumed to possess by being a mix of all of the main races in our galaxy, she's the only one on near or equal footing with Nick. Those two are a match made in heaven, despite the circumstances."

Himura only nodded, watching his daughter fight off the much larger enemy before her. Don't lose, Sameera. You and I have much to talk about after this is said and done..

You know, it doesn't look like he wants to talk. Came the other Sameera's voice in her head.

Yeah, I noticed. Just back off, bitch. This is my fight.

Oh, that's just fine. Wouldn't want to get in the way of your little lover's quarrel. Just don't kill him. I kind of like fighting him, you know. Gets me all bothered.

Sameera tuned the other voice out even as her skin darkened a few shades from the implications. Is this really the damned time for that kind of talk?!

Who cares? You think the same thing, so don't be a hypocrite and just take him down before he winds up doing just that to us.

Fine, fine. I kinda liked it better when you weren't so agreeable towards him.

Ha ha.

A/N: Finally finished this. The story isn't doing great, not like I expected it to so soon, but we're chugging along. And I'll agree the way the story is unfolding is already a bit too chaotic for my tastes but it's working and the story is moving along. And if anyone wants to nitpick how I've described the Great Ape as a sort of animal spirit, that's actually kind of how it is when you think about it. The Great Ape, while a Savage transformation, is literally just the realization of one channeling their animal spirit in such media as PR Jungle Fury but more physical than mental. And it makes more sense being an ancestral spirit because while it has never been outright shown, it's more than implied that Saiyans are just another species of human that evolved to fit the savage, fight-lusting species that are the Saiyans as opposed to the more (assumingly) natural evolution humans on Earth experienced. And with that, it would make a little bit of sense to say that controlling the Great Ape transformation helps the Saiyan themselves keep their anger in check.
