The first match for that Friday night's NXT Level Up would be none other than Amari Miller vs. Jakara Jackson. Amari made her way out to the ring first, wearing her greenish purple attire, dancing to her theme music.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...from Kansas City, Missouri - Amari Miller!" Kelly Kincaid announced.

Amari high fived the fans before entering the ring and continuing to dance. Soon, Jakara's entrance music blasted the arena, before the self-proclaimed "Goal Digger" came out wearing her usual yellow and black attire.

"And the opponent...from Albuquerque, New Mexico - Jakara Jackson!"

Jakara received a mixed response from the crowd as she made her way to the ring. She posed for the crowd before taunting Amari, who was unfazed with the mind games. The referee called for the bell, and both women grappled each other, with Amari gaining the upper hand on Ms. Jackson. Amari then delivered a headlock takedown, which Jakara eventually broke out of.

"Let's play, Amari!"

Amari went for a kick to the gut, but Jakara caught Miller's leg before pulling it from under her, causing the wrestler to land hard on the mat! Jakara then delivered a flurry of punches before taunting the crowd.

"What do you think of your little Superstar now?!" Jakara yelled out, causing some boos from the crowd.

Jakara took control in the next few minutes - completely tossing Amari around like she was a ragdoll, and taunting her at every opportunity! When Jakara grabbed Amari by the hair, she was caught completely off guard by Amari tripping her up! Amari got to her feet before stomping away at her once former friend - she then Irish whipped Jakara into the ropes before delivering a spinning heel kick and going for the pin! However, Jakara was able to kick out at two!

The crowd started chanting 'Let's go, Amari!', which enabled her to deliver a running big boot on Jakara - before going for the Kansas City Knockout! However, Jakara rolled Amari up into an inside cradle, and it appeared that she was going to steal the victory, but somehow, Miller was able to reverse it! The referee counted to three, and Amari rolled out of the ring before celebrating her victory with the fans!

"Here is your winner - Amari Miller!" Kelly Kincaid announced.

Jakara looked completely shocked as Amari celebrated on the entrance ramp. She appeared to have the match won, but Amari was able to pull off the big victory on Level Up!

Once Amari made her way backstage, she was greeted by Meilee "Fanny" Fan.

"Oh, great match out there, Amari!" Fanny told her. "I was completely blown away by your win against Ms. Jackson!"

"Thanks, Fanny." Amari replied, before giving the Performance Centre recruit a high-five.

"Say, I've been meaning to talk to you."

Amari looked at Fanny before asking, "What's up?"

"Well, Toxic Attraction have been bullying me relentlessly." Fanny replied. "Gigi and Jacy issued a handicap match for next week."

"That sucks." Amari said.

"Do you think we can team up together?" Fanny asked.

Amari replied 'yes' without any hesitation.

"Awesome!" Fanny exclaimed. "I can't wait for us to kick Toxic Attraction's butts!"

Later, Jakara approached Amari.

"You sure got lucky tonight, girl!" Jakara snapped.

"Hey, I won fair and square!" Amari clapped back. "You're just mad because Lash wasn't there to do your bidding!"

"We WILL meet again!" Jakara warned her former friend. "And I will more than kick your happy ass all over the ring, and show these people why Ms. Jackson is the Goal Digger of NXT!"

"One day, Jakara, I hope you get your senses back together!" Amari told her. "Just don't come crying to me when Lash turns her back on you!"

Amari then walked off.
