In the light, there is a darkness and in the darkness a light. It is the way with us all.

Be prisoner of neither Bogan nor Ashla. Strive to live in balance. As Tython itself teaches us, it is dangerous to do otherwise. And the danger is there – always.

Teachings of the ancient Je'daii Order.

The Sinner opened her eyes, taking in her surroundings she was still inside this infernal prison, the blank walls seemed to stare like back at her. How long has she slept this time only a few years, decades, centuries or even millennia. Nothing much has changed everything was still the same. The last vision she had was of the darkness within the galaxy changing and assuming a new form and being more hidden than before. The meaning wasn't clear to her, but she uttered the phrase she heart nonetheless, the Jedi who heart her prophecy seemed to look kind of concerned about this. This was the last time she was awake now she was awake again, which could only mean one thing and just as she almost completed her thought process a burning pain inside her skull was felt, like it split open anytime soon and her brain would spill out and splatter across the walls, decorating the inside of the prison with her greyish insides. She wanted to hold her head to easy the pain a little bit, but unfortunately her hands were still in stasis as was the rest of her body.

The piercing pain made her feel uncomfortable and her whole body shook internally, her eyes began to roll and the white of her eyes could be seen. Her mind was engulfed by a darkness, which she felt millennia ago. It made her feel comfortable and the piercing pain became a far distant feeling only like a small poke and nothing uncomfortable like a few minutes ago. She embraced that feeling it made her feel at home and welcome something she hadn't felt for ages now. She had almost forgotten the sensation of that feeling it felt foreign and still it felt like she knew it all her life long. She was the galaxy stretched out before her, she saw every known star and system laying in front of her. Far deep within the unknown region a darkness began to spread, slowly spreading at fast but picking up pace after it swallowed a few systems within its terrible dark maw. Its maw burned bright red and in its wake a few systems were left ablaze and she could hear the screams of sentient beings and non-sentient beings' life being flicked out like a candle with a gust of wind. The screams of their souls echoed in her mind, she felt the despair and hopelessness they felt in their last waking moments.

The vision shifted once more showing her a different perspective she was on a planet. She looked up at the blue sky and saw the bright yellow light of the sun. It was harvesting season, soon the sky became dark and the feeling of a freezing night enveloped her. She looked up to the sky again and saw something, which left her in awe and taking her a few moments to catch her breath after a short recovery she dared to look up again and what she saw shook her to the core. A gigantic fleet, with a number of ships never seen before was in orbit of that planet. This fleet made it feel so chilly and also their sheer number was overwhelming. She thought of her past not even the Eternal Fleet had that many ships, which made her even more curious. Then without even a warning the ships opened fire and her vision became dark again seeing nothing again just hearing screams and agony around her as a few of her colleagues were burned alive.

She stood atop the bridge of a ship and saw the planet she just stood upon burning in a bright crimson hue. She heard a voice besides her: "Testing has been completed; the core ripper has been completed." "Excellent, perfect soon we will be ready once more, what about the others"? "Others," the voice from before asked. "The other weapons have their testing also been completed or are they still in protype or the testing phase?" A swift answer followed: "They have all left the preliminary testing phase and should have completed the field testing as well today, Grand Moff Ver… ". Before he could finish his answer and address this person on the hologram with a name he was interrupted by another person, "What about the flagship how far has it been completed 'King Adas,' should be its name how far is the process there?", a female voice asked. The person besides her and the person only called Grand Moff by now for her, changed looks and it seemed they looked directly at her. She looked the vessel she inhabited now up and down herself. She wore the coat of a scientist but also the rank plate only high-ranking military personnel would wear, which struck her as slight odd. Her gloved hands held something that look like a notepad to her with technical information on it of which she didn't know the meaning of at all. Before she could even grasp the full situation her now host answered with a deep male voice: "The flagship designation 'King Adas' has been completed by 99.9 percent, the preliminary testing phase could be completed without any known issue. The knew alternative drive besides the hyperdrive works as intended. The new drive designated essence drive was installed with only a few causalities nothing to worry about only minor workers or slaves. The essence of the dead was absorbed into the drive, which allowed a jump, which was 0.0005 seconds faster than a normal hyperdrive. The weapon systems are also all online the primary, secondary and even the tertiary systems. The shields as well as the stealth systems work. Due to the inner sanctum being a dark side force nexus, lightning on the outside of the hull can't be supressed unfortunately, the before mentioned systems are not affected. The 0.1 percent that has not been completed or gave us the satisfactory results we hoped for is the essence drive right now, all high-level personnel with a high enough clearing a working on a solution to make the essence drive faster. In theory the essence drive should half the travel time of hyper jumps. A conclusion we came up with would be to use essences of higher beings, a jedi used as fuel for the essence drive should at least in theory depending on his rank, last for almost a decade. Of course, if we were to use a jedi grandmaster the same rank and force ability like Satele Shan had we could use the essence drive almost for an unlimited amount of time without worrying about fuel ever again." "Good to hear, one of our scouts into the Outer Rim recently captured a few Jedis on patrol. Use them to test the essence drive." "Yes, I will do it as once, my Lady," the Sinner's host said. Then the hologram of the women flickered and she was gone." "That was quite something", the Grand Moff with a look, which told more than a thousand words. "Quite the ordeal indeed, Grand Moff Verisus," the person besides her piped up. "I leave you to it then, I still have to finish the flagship and the emperor and especially his tactical advisor doesn't like it if you make them wait," her host chimed in. "You should indeed do this, Chief Researcher Sacerius."

Sacerius turned around and left the bridge. He took the elevator down and the train on this dreadnought to reach hangar bay 1-1-3, which he used as his personal hangar bay for the time being. One of his pilots saluted as he saw him coming. "Any new orders, Sir?" The pilot was young and still somehow impatient, but one of the best he sometimes spoke out of turn. Sacerius liked these qualities on him and he was his personal pilot. The Sinner could hear Sacerius' thoughts inside her own mind. It made her feel a tingling sensation as well as sending shivers down her spine.

Sacerius spoke, "Yes, we do have one, the tactical advisor...," he was interrupted by his pilot, "The emperor's wife?" Sacerius let out a long sigh, "Yes, but you could be good to never call her that in person." "I know, but she is his wife is she not." "Yes, she is, but …. I don't know either, someone once called her this and was then merciless killed, you are my best pilot I don't want to lose you." "Yes, sir," he said and bowed his head in acknowledgment. "We will leave for the King Adas, today, prepare anything, call me when we are ready." "Sir, we can depart right now," he forgot that his pilot always prepared for an immediate departure. The shuttle left its assigned hangar bay and made its way to something, the Sinner had never seen before in her life, what is that thing as the shuttle approached it. She saw through Sacerius' eyes how the pilot punched in some coordinates, "Sir, coordinates for the King Adas via Hypergate have been entered waiting for your approval," Sacerius only nodded. The young man moved the shuttle closer to the Hypergate it began to flare up and a sound could be heard inside the shuttle. The whole interior of the shuttle turned black and then it was gone as it came. The Sinner saw something immense in the distance.

"We have arrived, Sir." Sacerius gave a small nod of approval. A dreadnought almost blocking out the sun of a system could be seen, something else was weird about this system there were now planets only one sun and the sun was encircled by something. It seemed like this object was draining the sun of energy. The realization hit the Sinner like a mountain falling on top of her head this was a ship yard built in the same manner as the ancient Star Forge, but it didn't seem to draw energy from the force but from something else. Maybe they found some other almost infinite energy source or she was just too dumb to understand it properly, she thought the last was probably closer to the truth, but if asked she wouldn't admit it.

As they drew closer to the gigantic ship her vision began to fade and she awoke back up within her prison cell. She was all sweaty and looked like she was quite close on death's door. She looked around and to her surprise noticed that the door to the prison was open. Someone has entered her prison maybe she could escape now. Well, she had no other option if not now when then. She struggled quite a bit but soon noticed that the restraints would not release her everything she tried was for naught. She wondered why she even tried in the first place. Also, there was someone here it was the first time she had seen someone like it. No, she was wrong long ago she saw someone who looked exactly like that, but she didn't know his name only that this person looked similar to that one standing down there. His hand began to enter a something within the control panel inside her cell. She was enveloped by something like a pod and was brought down. After she was almost on the ground the pod from before went away. "Now speak we can, hmm."
