At the Entrance of the Cambers of Ultimate Knowledge…
Belos quickly disembarked from his staff as he rushed to the sisters.
"I have come, Sisters to know of whom entered the chambers and procure the Hyperon of the Titan's Eye." Belos urgently urged the statue.
"Welcome to you as well, The Bellowing One. The answers you seek shall be displayed."
From their gaze, they replayed the events that happened before.
"These chambers hold the key to saving my witchlet and defeating the dreaded curse." Gwendolyn proclaimed proudly as the entrance looked magnificent and forbidden.
"I don't think this is a good idea. I mean, shouldn't we tell my dad? I mean, this Hyperon is his-." Luz began.
"Luz, please, this might be the only way to help Eda. Your father is too blinded by his own beast and his duties as emperor to help. I promise to return the Hyperon afterward. But please, do this for me and I will help you." Gwen pleaded with her.
Luz conceded.
Two statues in hoods stood tall with their eyes closed as the carvings of palisman, both unicorns opened their eyes.
"We, the Sisters of Knowledge, Yumi, and Umi will pass judgment of entry. Those with intentions most pure of heart and cunning of a kitsune may gain entry to our sanctuary." They declared as Luz stepped forward.
Their eyes scanned Luzura as the energy of a blue aura enveloped her. Then it disappeared.
"Daughter of Belos the Liberator, you walk the path of knowledge as your heart seeks pure intentions. You are allowed access." They decided as the door opened for her.
Luz then walked as she noticed that Gwendolyn's way was blocked.
"You are denied entry, Lady Clawthorne of the Royal Family. You are blinded by deception and denial. Your heart is clouded with desperation and your impulse will be the ruin of others. You are not permitted to pass."
"Gwendolyn…" Luz uttered.
"Don't worry, Dear. I will be waiting outside." She assured her with a chuckle.
Luz frowned, and hesitated but kept going.
"Gwendolyn…" Belos snarled as his beast form completely enveloped his body, "This time she has gone too far. Stealing from the chambers and using my daughter to do so… It is clear she is capable of depraved things."
"Knowing her, she's at the Owl house as we speak," Blue suggested as she was gravely disappointed in the member of the royal family, Gwendolyn.
Belos grasped his palisman, who returned back into staff form. Belos was faster in his Elf Beast Form and would be able to track his daughter and the wayward woman.
"Gwendolyn, this time I will not look away…"
Then with immense speed, he bolted to the Owl House.
At the Owl House…
Belos soon sees Edalyn, pushed to the brink by her mother into becoming the Owl Beast.
Great, he needed to deal with the creature and Gwendolyn, what can make it more infuriating?
Oh, just Lilith as the new Raven Beast is starting to make its debut. What had this imbecilic fool done? Will she only cause destruction to everyone around her?
"CLAWTHORNE!"
Gwendolyn jumped a bit as she heard Belos' voice and Luz knew her father was mad. In his Elk form, he made his way to the pair as Lilith and Eda began to brawl against one another.
"Daddy!" Luz gasped.
"Oh, Belos. It's nice to see you, Dear."
Gwendolyn was soon clutched in his hand as his eyes were a sharp blue!
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! YOU FORCED MY DAUGHTER TO STEAL! WHERE IS THE HYPERON!"
"Belos, what I did was for my daughter-?"
"WHERE IS IT?!"
"I gave it to Master Wortlop." She confessed.
"YOU IDIOT, DO YOU REALIZE THE HARM YOU HAVE BROUGHT!? BUT, NO, NO, NO! GWENDOLYN NEVER THINKS ABOUT THE PEOPLE AROUND HER, BUT RATHER LIVES IN DENIAL! I PROMISED YOUR HUSBAND I WOULD NOT BRING HARM TO YOU WHEN YOU DO THESE THINGS! BUT YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR!"
"Belos, you must understand what a parent would do for their child, what they were willing to give up to keep them safe!"
King looked at the pair and thought about her words.
RRRROOOAAAARRRRR!
"Daddy! Lilith and Eda are smashing the town! We need to do something!" Luz informed of the destruction.
Belos breathed as Blue returned to her human form.
"Philip, you can stop them. I'll go with Gwendolyn and find the Hyperon." Blue suggested and Belos growled in frustration.
"Gwendolyn, when this is over, you will be punished. Blue, get the Hyperon back, no matter what. If this 'Master Wortlop' tries anything, kill him." Belos ordered.
"No!" Gwen pleaded.
"You have already caused trouble, don't make things worse," Blue warned.
"Gwendolyn, please." Luz pleaded to the woman.
But Gwen was uncertain.
"It… must be part of the process."
Luz frowned.
"Luzura, don't waste your time with her. We must go and help them. We need to clean up her mess, again." Belos growled at Gwen.
Luz and King climbed onto Belos' back.
"Hold on, I will go a little fast."
"What do you mean a little- WOAH!"
Soon all three of them disappeared, while Blue and Gwendolyn left for this master.
"Hawksley, did I make the wrong choice? Is Master-no he can't be not after all I have done for him." Gwendolyn uttered as Blue's heart ached.
When they made it to the crave, all the revealed. Her master was a fake, con artist gremlins that stole from anyone gullible to listen to them. When Gwen heard this she was enraged and every beast around her felt it. They tried to hide with their disguise, but there was no hiding.
"You know, when my daughter was cursed, I went to the Emperor of the Isles himself. A man with a beast of his own must have the answers. But he told me that only Eda can help her. I then joined the Beast Keeping Coven, surely, they had the answer. But the Beast Keepers said it couldn't be tamed, the healers say it could not be healed. My daughter even tell me its manageable, but I didn't listen." She informed them.
"How about a discount, twenty percent off the next book? Err… Forty percent."
"I wanted to protect you from Belos… because he wants you dead now. But since you care for nothing but yourselves, you will become his prey."
The gremlins tried to run but were captured by Blue.
"Impressive fear tactic, Gwen. Truly you are a member of the royal Family." Blue admired as the old witch found the Hyperon and gave it to Blue.
"I am sorry." She apologized to the palisman.
"There is still time to fix your mistake. Take the treasure and go to your daughters. Leave them to me." Blue offered.
Gwen smiled and flew off.
"Congratulations, you idiots. You have just been promoted from scammers and thieves to terrorists and traitors. You know what happens to traitors and terrorists, right?"
After the chaos…
Gwendolyn was fixing up the town as punishment while the gremlins were being taken into custody by the Illusion Coven.
"Find out who they work for and why. After you get what we need, have them petrified." Belos ordered Adrian, who gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Beloved, truly fearsome you are. Not to worry, I'll get everything we need, I'll even have some fun with it." He promised as they both chuckled.
"In-interrogated? Petrified? No! No, Belos, please! Show mercy! Show mercy!" They begged but Belos ignored them as he turned to his family.
"Belos, I should have listened to you. You were right." Gwendolyn apologized to him.
"Gwendolyn, as a parent myself, I will forgive you but as emperor, you must earn back my trust. Your privileges as a member of the Royal Family will be suspended until then." He calmly informed, tired of his own anger and the battle with the Clawthorne sisters.
Taught the Raven Beast a thing or two about manners when she clawed his face. Though he should have kept an even temper, even when it's hard when he's in that form.
"I will not betray your trust again. I only ask one more favor, about the custody of my daughter, Lilith."
Belos blinked, surprised as he listened.
Late at Night at the Owl House…
It was agreed that Lilith would be in the custody of her parents, though Hooty was saddened by that news.
"I must learn what I must be now, my good friend. For there is far too much bad blood, one of my own doings. I need to find my own path and hopefully, fully understand the true nature of family." Lilith informed, "I promise I will write and you can send as many letters as you wish."
"But I don't have fingers!" Hooty wailed.
"I wish you both luck." Belos bowed.
"Yeah, and Mum, thanks again for listening." Eda smiled.
"Edalyn, I am sorry I didn't listen to you. I promise I will always be there as support and this time, I will listen." Gwen assured, "But before I go, I must uphold my end of the bargain. Luzura."
Luz stepped forward.
"Thanks to you, our family can heal and now I can help yours. You see… you are not the first human to come here." Gwendolyn informed.
"What?" Luz gasped.
"Yes, there is a thing called Titan's blood, the rarest of rare. One of its powers is the ability the leak through other worlds. Through yours we get so many things; your world has a lot of trash. But humans, humans are quite rare. My great-grandmother once told me that three humans came to our world long ago, two of which are in the royal family bloodline."
"Indeed, I took the name of one of my ancestors after discovering their threads to us." Belos informed, "The diaries of the brothers should still be in the Imperial's Bloodline section of the Library."
"If you want proof that humans can survive here, best check there," Gwen suggested as Luz hugged her and thanked her.
"Luzura, if you wanted to know more about our family, you could have asked me." Belos smiled at his daughter, while Blue…
Blue was a little concerned.
Some things were better left in the past.
