"It's a simple matter really, Midoriya." Hiryu said with a smile, "I will have people from the family ready to help in no time."

"Thank you, Hiryu. I knew I could count on you." Izuku replied. He wasn't sure, actually, but he supposed at this point admitting that would sound like a stupid lie. His life was just that messed up.

Hiryu just bowed with a knowing look, like they had shared a common understanding of some kind. No, they didn't. He sighed as he waved at him, before turning back to Jiro, Pony and Tsuyu. "So, that was the easy part, what next?"

"I'll go talk with the 1-B girls, boss." Pony said.

"My mom gave me a few numbers to call." Tsuyu said, "All old friends from her past… job. I will do that once we are settled in."

"I will go talk with the senpai I interned with for Nighteye. He was investigating Yakuza groups, so he might know something." Jiro replied.

"I guess I'll ask Himiko then." Izuku said, sighing. "I really wanted a normal Hero student life."

"I mean, this is kind of cooler, right?" Jiro asked. Izuku stared at her, but she shrugged, "What? Do you seriously mean you would prefer a normal 'school and home' kind of life? That you don't find it even a little fun?"

"I…" Izuku shook his head, "No I don't."

"Mh…" She hummed. She didn't believe him, of course. Izuku wasn't entirely sure why he was surprised. Their chatter stopped as they joined the rest of the class that was moving in, staring up at the new dormitories. Looking around, Izuku saw Himiko wave at him before going back to talk with Yaoyorozu and Uraraka, while Masuchan was with Mineta and Kaminari, plus Hagakure chatting with them. Tokoyami, the other member of their friend group, was from Shizuoka, so he had decided to not move to the dorms. Aoyama, Mina, Kirishima and Kacchan were also around, Aoyama busy talking with Mina while Kirishima prevented Kacchan from just walking away. Shoji and Todoroki were arriving to join the group, down the path from the main building, and Iida was already standing in front of the door, ready to walk in.

"Morning, Izukun!" Masuchan waved when he saw him, walking up to him and frowning, "Something on your mind?"

"Yes, actually…"

-x-

Masuchan nodded, holding his chin, "I see, I see. Sounds like you made your life difficult again for no reason."

"I prevented a gang war!"

"As I said, for no reason."

Izuku sighed. "Well, either way now I have to take care of this by myself."

"Couldn't you just tell Ryukyu? She is the Number Nine and works for you. Plus you are All Might's hei- know All Might."

"I don't know what I could say to All Might- Wait a minute." He turned to Masuchan, and watched him sweat bullets and look away, "What did you just say?"

"Know All Might?"

"Before that."

"Couldn't you just tell Ryukyu?"

"No, in the middle of it- after 'She is the Number Nine and works for you'!" He quickly clarified when Masutaro opened his mouth.

"Ah…" He coughed in his fist, "So, I might have discovered something I wasn't supposed to know…"

"Did Himiko tell you?" He asked. He didn't want to believe she had already broken his trust by telling someone else, even if that someone was Masuchan.

"No!" He quickly shook his hand, "I… Kinda followed you and Himiko because I was worried, and that was the day you told her."

"Who else knows?"

"Tsuyu and your bodyguards that knew already." He said honestly, "Sorry, I wanted to tell you Izukun, but I never figured out the time."

Izuku took a deep breath. Alright, well, he assumed the League knew either way since their leaders were the final boss of One for All and his children, so Masuchan knowing wasn't that much of a problem, and Tsuyu was good at keeping secrets, so she wasn't a problem either. He could manage that. "Alright Masuchan. You should have told me, but I guess I can live with that. It's not like someone I hadn't planned to tell eventually found out."

Suddenly, Kacchan, Kirishima and Ashido all sneezed at once, startling the two of them for a long moment, before Masutaro shook his head and sighed.

"Sorry…" He grinned, "But hey, it's cool he chose you as his heir. Definitely deserved." He frowned, "Though, the Symbol of Peace is a Yakuza heir that will marry the daughter of… well…"

"I know." Izuku sighed, "Trust me, I just try to not think too hard about it." He shook his head, "Well, either way, I need to solve my current problem. Any idea? I can't just ask All Might, he would ask why I want to know."

"Can't you just say you want to help Miruko?"

"Maybe? But it's kinda weird for a Hero to send her Intern to do an investigation, especially to ask the Number One. And Miruko is a very direct person usually."

"Then just say you want to impress her. That should make you sound more convincing!" Masuchan grinned, and Izuku considered the idea.

"Uh, that might actually work…"

"Alright everyone, listen up." Aizawa said, suddenly walking past them, "Follow me inside, and let me show you the place, then you will get time to decorate your rooms."

-x-

The dorms were really spacious, Izuku realized as, three hours later, he was finally done. He had taken his time making sure all his All Might memorabilia was in place, so now he had time to burn. After the school day and the dorms introduction, he felt a bit tired. Yawning, he leaned back and fell asleep, taking the chance to nap a couple of hours.

After all, what could happen in a couple of hours?

-x-

"I agree." Himiko said, "We definitely need to help Izuku, I just don't know how." Masuchan stared at her. "What?"

"Himiko, you are the leader of the League of Villain." Jiro pointed out. Masutaro had invited all three of Izuku's bodyguards in Himiko's room, and while Pony was off to talk with the 1-B girls, Tsuyu and Jiro had joined them.

"Right…" She nodded, before smiling, "Right! And Tomura owes me a favor since I told him today Izuku would be here at school and he decided to move his plans to tomorrow! He will have to help if we tell him to!"

"Alright, that's one taken care of, but we also need other sources. Knowing Tomura, he might try to screw Izukun over."

"Right." Himiko nodded, thinking, "Any idea?"

"Actually, I have a few…" Masuchan said with a grin, "After all, we made some friends, didn't we?"

-x-

"Helping Izuku in an investigation for Miruko?" Uraraka asked, tilting her head, "That sounds really exciting! But I'm not sure we are allowed to…"

"We just need you to ask Endeavor." Himiko said, "Not helping directly."

"Ah, well, that's…" She looked a bit embarrassed, "Well, I don't really have his contacts. Oh, but we can ask Todoroki!"

"Can we? Todoroki seems a bit… distant."

"He can sound like that, but he is really nice." Uraraka said confidently, "Don't worry, if he asks Endeavor will surely help too. He would do anything for Todoroki if he thinks it will help becoming the next Number One."

"I'm not sure how this will help." Himiko said.

"Oh, I'm sure we can find a way." Masutaro said with a smile.

-x-

"Shooooooto!" Endeavor's shout exploded over the phone. Shoto had strategically placed his phone away from his hear, but it was still deafening.

'Why am I doing this?' He asked himself, before remembering Ochaco had been the one that asked. And he also didn't mind helping Midoriya, of course. "Hello… Dad."

"Good to hear from you son. I trust you are doing well."

"I've never been better." Shoto replied. His father, of course, completely missed on his sarcasm.

"Very good. Why are you calling?"

"Well, I want to…" He looked at Masuchan, who was holding up a paper with a speech written. He felt a shudder behind his back, "I want your help to compete with Midori- with Valiant." He said.

"Oh?"

"Valiant is currently looking for information on the gang known as Shie Hassaikai. I believe he wants to impress Miruko and possibly other Heroes. So, if I found that information first and presented it…"

"Yes, that would make a great impression! Good job son, I am glad to hear your rebellion is over."

"It's not."

"Well, then I'm glad to hear you are starting to feel the spirit of competition with a future candidate for Number One. I will see what I can find." Endeavor replied. Shoto really wanted to tell him what he thought about the spirit of competition, which involved a large piece of ice and an anatomical portion of Endeavor usually reserved for private use… He blinked.

'Uh, I guess I picked up something from Ochaco's angry mode.' He thought, before sighing, "Well, dad, hope you can find something."

"Don't worry about it son! You will show All Might who is going to be the next Number One!"

"Valiant."

"… Instead of 'All Might' or the next Number One?"

"Both?"

"Ugh. You need to work on your self-confidence Shoto." Endeavor said, "Either way, I will send you what I can find. Goodbye."

Shoto hang up the phone. "Thanks." Ochaco said, "I'm sorry I had to…"

"No, don't worry." Shoto replied, "The face he will make when I pass everything to Midoriya will make it worth it." The teen said with a smile.

Ochaco grinned, "Now that's talking."

"If you two are done, Ochaco, you said there is someone else we should ask?" Masutaro asked. Ochaco and Shoto both glared at him, and Shimura slapped him on the back of the head.

"… And that's it sir." The voice of the younger Iida son concluded.

"I see." Slide-n-Go said, leaning back on his chair in his office, "Well Iida, I'd be happy to help, but I'm not sure why you thought of asking me."

"Well, you said you have a large group of Heroes you meet with regularly sir. We figured it would help us if a lot of Heroes could help."

"But why should we? Don't get me wrong Iida, we all want crimes to be stopped, but we aren't sure if this Shie Hassaikai is that big a deal."

"I understand sir. Of course you are correct, and it would be arrogant for us to demand of you to help. However, from what we have put together thanks to the others, the investigation covers most of Japan. We hoped that at least some Heroes would be willing to help. All we ask is for you to extend the offer to your friends."

Slide-n-Go nodded. That was a more realistic request. Of course, the MLA would have some interest in stopping a gang from taking over the underground, and even more in cooperating with members of the Top 10 like Miruko and Endeavor, who were apparently both involved in this now. And of course, if Iida was right, all this was to help Valiant, Japan's future Symbol of Peace.

"Very well, I will ask some of my colleagues. We will see what we can do." Slide-n-Go replied.

"Thank you very much sir!" Iida said.

"It's no big deal. But do make sure to tell your brother I helped."

"Of course sir, I'm calling him right now." Iida replied, without a hint of sarcasm. Man the kid was serious. He said goodbye and closed the call, and sent the phone recording up the ladder to mister Skeptic. He would decide how important it was. For now, Slide-n-Go supposed he might as well check out if there was any Hassaikai base in his territory.

-x-

Sitting on his chair, his long black hair falling on his shoulder and covering his eyes, Skeptic examined the new reports coming in from the MLA members. He cared mostly about Heroes, of course, since they were the only ones that would get hints in advance of the MLA's discovery. They were also useful, however, to find new ways to approach other Heroes for recruitment.

Unfortunately, so far, the MLA still hadn't found a crack in the high ranks. Most members of the Top 10 were unreachable for the Heroes that worked for the cause, and inducting more was a difficult process, since one misstep would mean the HPSC could find out about their group.

He examined a report that had just arrived from Slide-n-Go. His ranking was decent, so he usually offered good intel, but he wasn't at a point where he could just casually try to induct Top 10 members. Still, if he had something worth reporting, it might have been an interesting read.

Or maybe it would be useless, but that was a matter for later.

-x-

Re-Destro was examining the project for a new Ultra-stressinator, or as Skeptic insisted to call it 'Claustro', when the man he was talking about all but barged into his room. "Skeptic, what an unexpected surprise." Re-Destro said, "And by unexpected…"

"You mean completely expected sir, I know." Skeptic replied, "But I have something big on my hands, I think."

Re-Destro raised an eyebrow and took the piece of paper the owner of Feel Good Inc. offered. One might have though someone like Chikazoku would just send a mail, but the man could be quite dramatic when he wanted to.

Re-Destro read. "An investigation that involves several members of the Top 10 is quite interesting, Chikazoku, but I hardly see why it would matter for us."

"For two reasons. The first is that it involves Valiant, the future Number One. In fact, he is the one that had a friend contact Slide-n-Go. This means that it's a good chance for our Heroes to make a good impression on him, and hopefully drag him to our side."

"I prefer the term 'open his eyes', but sure. And the other?"

"I dug up a bit of information by making a few calls. We have MLA members in the Yakuza, of course, including the Shie Hassaikai. Read."

Re-Destro rolled his eyes. What could those Yakuza do that was so dangerous for their cause? Sure, the Green Valley Clan was big enough to be a threat, in theory, but they wouldn't attack them if they weren't attacked, and weren't directly opposed to their cause. The Shie Hassaikai was just a smaller gang-

"Skeptic, why does this say something about a Dequirkinator?"

"First of all it doesn't…"

"Fine, fine, a 'Quirk Destroying Bullet', what is this nonsense."

"Apparently, it's not. It's genuine."

Re-Destro felt the familiar effect of stress run through his body. "Well, we can't let this stand."

"My thoughts exactly."

"Call Curious. We are getting a full investigation on this and then we pass it all to Valiant through Slide-n-Go." Re-Destro replied, "Let the HPSC take care of this, and tell Curious to stay ready to release a piece on it if they take too long. Pass it to Trumpet too, he will definitely find a use for it."

"Yes Re-Destro."

"Oh, and Skeptic?"

"Yes?"

"Make it clear to all of our Heroes that Overhaul and his research both have to… disappear, if they are in a position to take care of it."

Skeptic's smile matched his own. 'All thanks to the proactiveness of this Valiant lad. I admire that. Hopefully we can get him to join the MLA.'

"Oh, Asui, it's been so long."

"Call me Beru, Bami." Her old friend said fondly, and Uwabami chuckled.

"Alright, alright, but come on, how are you doing? It's been a while."

"Very well. I got married and had three children, actually."

"Come on, it's not been that long, last time I met you it was to celebrate the birth of your third." She sighed, "Can't say the same for the other three."

"How come? I thought you Tigers of Musutafu were inseparable."

Uwabami snorted, looking at the pictures on her wall. Herself, Mika Jiro, Mitsuki Bakugo, and their leader, Inko Shimura. The Tigers of Musutafu were the strongest high school gang of delinquents turned criminals. Good times.

"I decided to become a Hero, and retired from that life cutting all bridges in fear the HPSC would track me back to them. Even now I'm a bit scared of it, admittedly." She shook her head, "I think I lost the chance to rebuild that relationship a month or so ago, when Inko called and I didn't answer."

"What if I suggested something?" Beru asked, "Something that would help Inko's son and still be Heroic? My daughter just called telling me something very interesting, and I promised to help…"

Uwabami listened intently, and then smiled. "Why, that sounds very interesting. And one of my Internships from the Sports Festival was for a First Year from UA aligned with the clan." Uwabami smiled, "Alright, I'll see what I can do. Thanks Beru."

"Don't mention it. And promise you will also call Inko. I'm sure she will be glad to hear from you."

Uwabami sighed. "Alright. Maybe it's time I stop dodging the other Tigers." Uwabami said.

She closed the call. Inko's son, Izuku Midoriya, also known now as the Hero Valiant. What a guy this had to be. Beru Asui, her old friend, had always said she was ready to turn on the Clan if Hisashi's heir wasn't as good as Hisashi was. And this Izuku… Well, he was the future Number One, according to most people, and also apparently worthy of Beru's respect.

A guy like that was almost terrifying. Better get on his good side, she supposed.

Who knew who else he had on his paybook.

-x-

Tatami looked at the unconscious member of the Green Valley Clan she had attacked and knocked out. He was just a random nobody, but was also exactly who he needed. Taking a deep breath, she called the number.

"What is it, Tortoise?" The voice on the other end of the line asked.

"Seven-Nine-Eleven-Six-Eight." She started, sending the code to confirm her identity.

"I have some important information, sir." She said, "I interrogated a member of the Green Valley Clan, a Yakuza group…"

"What, why?! Your mission was to lay low-"

"I decided to try my luck with some low-level grunt, in hopes they would have information on someone infiltrating Ketsubutsu, since this cell is based close to Ketsubutsu so they would be a likely contact. They didn't, but then on a whim I decided to ask about the Shie Hassaikai, a group I heard about from Valiant, one of my classmates' cousins. They told me something very interesting…"

She proceeded to explain what Shindo had told her about the Shie Hassaikai plans, since he had been told in turn from her father. The idea of a Quirk-Erasing Bullet was scary, and the HPSC needed to know, but Tatami needed a source that wasn't her boyfriend. Hence her decision to hunt down a Green Valley Clan member and pretend he happened to have the information.

Midoriya better thank her, for this, she was helping him too. Granted, it was only because Shindo was worried and she had to report to the HPSC, but still…

'Shindo better be ready to take me on a big date for this.' She thought, 'Even if he doesn't know, I deserve it.'

-x-

The HPSC Director's eyes went wide as Hawks reported to her what Tortoise had told him. "Are you sure this is believable?"

"Already asked some of my contacts in the underground. The bullets have been floating under our radar for a while, in numbers that weren't worth noting exactly to keep authorities from finding out. Most people thought it was just some sort of Quirk-Dampening, but they are capable of stopping Quirks from working for a while." Hawks replied, "I think the time, according to the sellers, rounds at about thirty minutes, but recently it has jumped up to one hour. A couple more months, and things might get dangerous."

"And who put this on Tortoise's radar?"

"Valiant, apparently." Hawks replied with a smile, "The kid is trying to impress Miruko, so he started asking his friends to help him find leads on the Hassaikai. One thing leads to another, and Tortoise hears about it from Valiant's cousin, who is her classmate at Ketsubutsu…"

"I see." The Director frowned, "Valiant is certainly a smart kid. You don't think…"

"That he might know who Tortoise is?" Hawks chuckled, "Nah, it's just one of those 'I tell my cousin and he tells a friend of his'."

"That just happens to be one of our Agents, that happens to be aware of a Green Valley Clan base, and happens to be just positioned to hear about it."

"Oh come on, Director, it's clearly just a coincidence."

"Maybe, but it's a pretty wild coincidence that this cousin would just happen to tell Tortoise. Maybe Valiant is a lot smarter than I gave him credit for. We always knew some people might figure out who Tortoise was, but I never expected him to be one of them." She shrugged, "Well, no matter. Even if he knows, there is no particular issue, technically all Heroes work for the HPSC. Hawks, I leave to you an investigation on this. Do you have a way to pass the information to him?"

"Of course. Another one of his friends, the kid called Tokoyami I took for the Work Studies, called me saying a friend of Valiant was asking for help with…" He paused, "Uh."

"Oh my, pretty unbelievable coincidence for them to contact directly both our spies." The woman commented. Hawks had to admit that was… something. So he had happened to contact not one, but two HPSC Agents to put them in the loop? That started to go from a coincidence to a pattern.

"Uh… Maybe this Valiant really is just that smart. You think he wanted to make sure the message arrived to you?"

"Could be." The HPSC President wasn't one to take chances, Hawks knew, but the woman seemed relaxed enough. In fact, a moment later, she smiled, crossing her fingers, "You know, there is a simple explanation for this. Perhaps Valiant already knew about the bullets due to his private investigation, but couldn't tell us directly because to find out he had to… stretch his Provisional License."

Hawks understood a moment later and snorted, "You think he roughed up some Villain in his free time to find out? I could see Miruko's intern doing that. And I could see the kid then realizing he can't just get that information to Miruko without her questioning how he got it, and trying to tell the HPSC without just admitting it."

The Director sighed. "Yes, it makes perfect sense. I suppose we can put the info out. Put together some report and pass it to this Tokoyami kid and have him pass it to Valiant, so he can send it to Miruko without feeling remorse."

"And about the bullets…"

"Oh, we are getting them and Overhaul out of the market." The HPSC Director said, "Join the investigation Hawks, will you?"

Hawks nodded. Man, this Valiant kid was really something to put this all together. What a peculiar guy he had to be.

-x-

Izuku yawned, suddenly waking up from his nap. Uh, three hours, a bit more than he had expected. He stretched his back, pulling out his phone. Time to make the calls he could he suppose- Why did he have fifty mails?

Confused, he opened them all.

Good evening to you, Midoriya. This is Tokoyami. Mister Hawks sent some information on the Shie Hassaikai…

Hi Valiant. This is Lemillion, Nighteye's intern. Sir heard about your research on the Hassaikai from Jiro, and decided to send you the password to access the agency's investigation. He also said something along the lines of 'All Might truly chose a good successor if he already realizes that the Hassaikai is brewing something big so far in advance'. That's really high praise man, congrats!

Hello Valiant, this is Nejire, Ryukyu asked me to tell you she is already moving to investigate…

Good evening, Midoriya! I knocked at your door but I believe you might be asleep, so I took the liberty to send over the initial results mister Slide-n-Go sent! Apparently, his circle of Hero friends has discovered a lot of stuff in the last few hours, and they believe a lot more will come out in the next few days.

Hello boss, this is Komori! Uwabami told me to tell you she is ready to help…

Ah, Midoriya, what a stupendous strategy. I called Ryukyu to check on her, only to find out you already contacted her through a far less suspicious third party. Truly, you are a step ahead…

Sup boss, Setsuna here. Ibara's mom has made a few calls in her friend's circle, she says she might have the name of a couple of big names in the Hassaikai, old killers for hire…

Midoriya, this is Todoroki. My father sent over fifteen pages of reports about his initial findings on the Hassaikai…

Hi Izuku! I strongarmed Togaraki into helping with your investigation. Apparently, a lot of Villains know each other, so we have compiled a pretty good list of Hassaikai members! I hope this helps baby. If it does, I expect some nice kisses and cuddling as a reward. P.S., he sent it to you from his agency mail, so you can say he asked his 'sources'.

Bonsoir, Midoriya. My maman and papan asked their contacts in ze underground, the same ones that allowed them to contact monsieur A-f-O, if they had anything on the Hassaikai. We might be able to procure some samples of the bullets if you need them. J'espair this is good proof of my commitment to the clan…

Hello Valiant, this is Saiko Intelli, from Seiai Academy. I couldn't help but hear about this investigation from a friend I have in UA. I took it upon myself to contact a few family friends that have contacts in the Hero business, and they have put the word out to a handful of Heroes they know. Not many, but I hope they will be helpful. Thank you for your consideration…

Izuku blinked, scrolling through his phone, until he finished every last message. All in all, he had over six-hundred pages of information on the Shie Hassaikai, and that was without including Sir Nighteye's detailed files. He felt a headache build up, as he finally read the last comment.

"Sorry Izukun, I think we might have asked a bit too many people…' Izuku pinched the bridge of his nose and had only one comment to make.

"Masuchan, what the f-"

The door opened. "Midoriya my boy!" All Might said, walking in, ignoring the fact he had broken the door to do so – classic problem with superstrength, Midoriya wouldn't begrudge him for it, not that he could begrudge All Might for anything - "I couldn't help but hear about your investigation…"

"Thanks All Might!" He said, "But, uhm, this is a Yakuza invest-"

"Yakuza?! Where?!" All Might shouted reflexively, before coughing in his fist, "Ah, don't worry about it young Midoriya, I can totally help. No problem."

Midoriya nodded. "S-Sure. Uhm, do you mind if I first put my notes in order?"

"Of course. But if you need help, don't hesitate to ask."

"Sure All Might. Thank you!" Izuku said, feeling his headache recede-

"Oh, and by the way, Miruko called. She heard a lot of things about your investigation, and is really curious about it."

"Ah." Izuku managed to say. The headache came back with a vengeance. At least he could tell his dead he had done some work. He could relax a bit.

-x-

"In one day," Hisashi said, his grin stretching from hear to hear as he showed his family proudly, "My son has pretty much collected information on every single Shie Hassaikai member, down to the last drug dealer in some forgotten park in Shikoku, has found every base of the Hassaikai, has involved in the mission half of the Top 10 – or maybe more, I didn't count them – and has perfectly covered his tracks by covering it all under the guise of 'asking his classmates for help."

Isana looked at the documents Midoriya had sent, just the portion that the League of Villain and the Azure Dragon had passed to him. He looked up to see Volcano was doing what some uncouth teen would call 'a pog face' as he stared in disbelief from Hisashi to Isana to Nene. Nene herself was just laughing uproariously, for some reason.

As for him…

"Hisashi, what is your son?"

"Either the luckiest man in existence, or the smartest teenager of this generation." Hisashi said.

"Yeah, right, luck. There is no way this could just happen by coincidence." Volcano snorted.

"You'd be surprised how lucky one can be." Hisashi replied.

Isana shook his head. 'Is this a message to me? Is Izuku showing off his contact to make sure I don't doubt him anymore?' That was brilliant, Isana had to admit. It was a message that told everyone in the clan 'I am the heir, and I already have enough people on my side I can destroy those that turn against me. Surrender or die'. It took balls of steel to pull this off, but it had worked, and perfectly. Who knew how many more people Izuku could call to his side… No, even this amount could have easily destroyed one or two subgroups of the Green Valley Clan. 'If he keeps up this effort, and extends it to the entirety of the Green Valley Clan… How much stronger could the organization be?' And this was the result of less than one year.

He froze.

With the marriage with All for One's daughter, Izuku would take over the two largest Villain organizations in Japan. And with the system he was setting up, with that level of control...

His mind went back to the times before All Might defeated All for One, when he ruled as the Shadow Ruler of Japan. But All for One was an old fossil, broken by the battle with All Might. Izuku however was young, smart, and powerful. With that level of authority both in the world above and the one below, he could become the next one.

Isana saw it before him, the plan Izuku had concocted. Symbol of Peace to the Heroes, Symbol of Evil to the Villains. A single man that could move Japan as he pleased, a shadow ruler that would stand in the light instead of bathing in darkness.

"Sasuga, Izuku-sama..." He muttered, before looking at his current boss, a man he respected, but that he now couldn't help but see as weaker than his son. "Hisashi?"

"Yes?"

"Your son is amazing. Truly a worthy heir of your legacy."

"Yes." Hisashi said with his patented neutral smile, the one no one could ever read "He really is." Isana smiled. The Green Valley Clan was in the best possible hands.

-x-

'I hate the Green Valley Clan…' Izuku thought in a muttering tone, as another document arrived in his mail. 'But at least I'm saving someone with this. I wouldn't want to be Overhaul, though. It looks like the entirety of the Japanese Hero community is zeroing on him.'

-x-

Overhaul woke up screaming. "Sorry boss!" Kurono said, I didn't expect to scare you that badly."

"No, I…" Overhaul frowned, "Kurono, why are you in my room?"

"Now or in general?"

"What?"

"Nothing. I definitely don't watch you sleep or anything."

"What?" Overhaul groaned, "No, I screamed because I had a nightmare. One of our spies found out the autorities of Japan knew about the serum and we were under surveillance, and the entirety of the Top Ten was ready to jump on us." He sighed, "Alright, anyway, what is it? I hope it's important if you woke me up for this."

"Weeeeeeell…" Kurono said, sweating bullets, "The good news is that it's not 'the entire Top Ten?"

Overhaul fainted. Then he un-fainted, stood back up and glared at Kurono. "How?!" He growled.

"W-We still don't have all the details, but one name came up."

"Which one?"

"Valiant!" He said, "The 'next Symbol of Peace', Valiant." Kurono replied.

Overhaul took a moment to process that. The sick brat with the same family name of Hisashi Midoriya? He was the one that stood in his path to rule the underworld?

Then in that case it probably wasn't a coincidence. A nephew of Hisashi, or perhaps a cousin. Not impossible, he supposed. Someone the Green Valley Clan had raised to infiltrate the Hero community. Clever, because he couldn't accuse the Clan based on a family name, but that also meant the Clan couldn't defend him without breaking his cover. He grinned, then he pulled out his mask from its container. "Very well. Then let's show this 'Valiant' what being a Yakuza means."

Izuku accidentally conquers Japan speedrun any% continues. Amazing my boy, in an evening you made an enemy for life, forced both the MLA and the HPSC to do your bidding, pushed Overhaul with his back to the wall, ensured the Clan's loyalty and pretty much got the entire Hero community to listen to your random suggestion.
And he was sleeping through most of it.
Sasuga indeed, Izuku-sama.

God, I just love writing these kind of chapters because of how insane they get. It's so fun to watch the net of connections I developed Izuku set-up pull itself together.

Of course, this means Overhaul is now on the hunt for this Valiant brat that is clearly connected to the Green Valley Clan. He knows striking at the Clan means an all out war he can't afford with the Heroes also aware of his plans, but... Well, he will pull something out, I suppose. It's MFLA after all.

I know this was a bit less comedic than usual in terms of jokes, but I hope the general sense of what the fuck makes up for the lower comedy ratio in a non-romantic chapter. I have the hard rule of never going too serious outside of romance in this story, but this is... a serious-ish chapter?
Thank God at least there is Re-Destro's infallible 'I'm literally Heinz Doofenshmirtz' to heighten the humor.
