USS Argo Bridge, Tokyo
"Enslavement?" The word clung to the air like glue. The faces of the crew and the returned agents were contorted into mixtures of fear and pure rage. The mystery creature was already a tyrant in their eyes. Its vague dragon shape cemented that further.
Before anyone could begin planning, the dragon-like creature swooped to the surface, and bolts of electricity spread through its wingspan. The spectacle brought images of the late Ghidorah to mind. The Kaiju on the ground roared in challenge. Unlike any other opponent fought in this war, the creature did not take the bait. Rather, it stood in silence, building power. Nick took a closer look at the creature, and then brought up images of the mythical Greek griffin. "Odd. It seems this creature was the basis of the Greek griffin and the European dragon." Miki looked over his shoulder. "Then it shall be named Gryphon, a fusion of griffon and dragon." A flash outside the windows took their attention. What they saw was like a nightmare come to life. The electricity shot out of the wingtips of the newly named kaiju, and all of their allies were on their hands and knees in the worst pain imaginable, electricity coursing through their bones, paralyzing them. Kong and Godzilla were resisting, but just barely. After a brief pause, Kong grabbed a nearby telephone pole, and then dove into cover. Godzilla meanwhile shot Atomic Breath and staggered Gryphon somewhat, but the chimera pressed on. Then, in front of a slack jawed crowd on the Argo bridge, a green tongue with three snake heads sprang from Gryphons mouth and latched onto Godzilla's neck. Martin tried to make light of the situation. "At least it isn't a xenomorph." Gryphon then grabbed one of Godzilla's dorsal plates. He then grabbed Godzilla's head with his free hand, and with a frightening display of strength and brutality, not only shoved Godzilla to ground, but ripped off the dorsal plate from Godzilla's back, now trailing blood from a ripped vein and artery.
"Turn the ship around! Flank speed! Get us out of here!" The crew rushed to turn the craft around, but the speed at which Gryphon was approaching was going to make any maneuver risky at best and impossible at worst.
Kong saw his friend wounded, and rushed to grab the dorsal plate, using cables for rope. His previous ax would not have the capabilities this one would have. He also took part of a flag and pressed it to Godzilla to staunch the bleeding, and then charged at the distracted Chimaera. The ax landed with a sickening crunch, but did not do much. Gryphon was staggered, but then tail whipped Kong, and fired more electricity. Even with his lightning powers, Kong was overwhelmed.
Before Gryphon could lash out with his tongue again, an odd crystalline eagle-esque sound came from high above. Floating above the city in the stratosphere, but visible from the surface, an orange glow could be seen.
Alex grabbed Martin's hand tight. "I hope whatever that is is on our side." Martin returned the gesture. Diana was more pessimistic. "It looks like a meteorite, seeing as how it's getting closer." "Not even close, Diana. It has a lizard shape!" Martin keenly pointed out. Nick at that point grimaced. "If it is what I think it is, gentlemen, then say your last prayers for Earth. Armageddon has come for us at last. God help us all." Clover wanted to cry at that. "It can't be the end of the world! I just got asked out!" Madison hugged Miki tightly, also in tears. Billy looked to have a thousand yard stare, as if he had seen this before. Java had fighting words however. "Java not scared. Java goes down fighting." Sam however, noticed that Gryphon shifted his stance, as if whoever the new arrival is is a threat, even a hint of fear from the aberration. "Guys, I think this new arrival is here to help. Gryphon is scared." That got everyone's attention. As if to punctuate her point, the new creature roared again in challenge, which Gryphon now answered with a roar of his own. The new monster now touched down himself, showing two massive crystals jutting out from his shoulder blades, but also an uncanny resemblance to Godzilla. His head had a star acting like a crown, and his tail had a crystalline spike as a point. Britney noticed the similarities immediately. "He looks like Godzilla if he came from a crystal cave." Nick and Miki simultaneously spoke up about it. "SpaceGodzilla." Martin had a remark to say about the name. "SpaceGodzilla? What? His parents ran out of names for their kids?" Diana then smacked in the back of the head.
Any further interaction was halted when SpaceGodzilla let out his breath: an orange beam of pure solar light in it's supernova stage, and it had the power of one as well. It struck Gryphon like the fury of an angry God, actually harming him as he now bled.
Furious at the intervention, Gryphon dashed in a blind rage. SpaceGodzilla also charged at an amazing speed. Both suddenly collided at the speed of light, sending shockwaves throughout Tokyo that leveled several buildings, and even causing the Argo to spin out of control and crash land.
When the dust settled, the two aliens had each other in an arm lock, trying to wrestle each other to the ground. Regaining consciousness, Martin and Alex exclaimed in excitement. "It's just like Dragon Ball Z!" Diana was disappointed. "Don't say we should do that again."
Gryphon then moved to electrocute SpaceGodzilla. In response, the alien lizard created a forcefield that acted like a prism. The bolts bounced harmlessly around it, creating a show of color. Retailiting, SpaceGodzilla tried to stab Gryphon from the ground by summoning inexplicable crystals of similar color to his. Gryphon had to jump away, but then tried to use a suspiciously familiar beam weapon from his jaw. Sam recognized it right away. "Wait! That's Destroyah's beam! I thought the electricity was familiar!" Nick then looked at the readings, and stroked his chin. "Incredible. No kaiju has ever had this ability. After absorbing their life forces, Gryphon must have gained their abilities and amplified them. We can't let him kill SpaceGodzilla, otherwise we're all doomed!"
Meanwhile, SpaceGodzilla dodged the beam, but then behind Gryphon, a Mudo corpse started to float. The observers on the bridge of the Argo were stunned. Then, the corpse rocketed to Gryphon, bonking him in the head, then the same thing happened with a Skullcrawler, Ghidorah's corpse, Destroyah's head, and a car. Sam was stunned. "This is defying the laws of physics!" Martin however was fanboying. "This is proof the Force exists!" Miki decided to find out why SpaceGodzilla was helping them. "Odd. After SpaceGodzilla was defeated by his brother and sealed in a crystal, all the black cells in his body must have dissipated while floating through space. All that remains is virtue and good. It seems his exile gave him redemption. He has the memories, and regrets his actions, and now seeks to atone." Nick had to pick his jaw from the floor. Afterall, he's not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Annoyed at the magic trick played at his expense, Gryphon decided to give SpaceGodzilla a dose of his own medicine, and shot Gravity Beams toward a still standing skyscraper. Like a hot knife through butter, the beams cut through concrete and steel all the way to the roof. The end result was the building falling toward the other alien. Thinking fast he caught the debris mid air, and threw it like a javelin at Gryphon. It landed square in Gryphon's heart, yet he miraculously survived, and then yanked it out. He then grabbed it in both hands, and charged again. Another clash, another shockwave, but this time the debris club was inside SpaceGodzilla's mouth like a bone, and both ends were held by Gryphon. Cracks began forming onto the bar, and then the building debris shattered with a sucker punch across Gryphon's jaw, sending him careening into a slab of concrete.
Meanwhile, the crew and agents of the Argo had left the wreckage of the craft, and saw the two kaiju fighting. Martin ran to Zilla, who was motionless, but still visibly breathing. Alex saw Rodan, who slowly lifted his head in response to a pet from his mistress. The same pattern repeated with each Kaiju. The teams worked overtime to round them up, but then wondered what to do. A snort from a nearby building took their attention: SpaceGodzilla floated to them, and saw his brother and his friends gravely injured. Taking pity, he motioned something with his arms, and all the injured monsters were encased in an aether like green energy. Almost like an act of God healing the world, their injuries were completely healed: Bones put back into place, blood regaining flow and quantity, and punctures becoming non-existent. Everyone was awed at the spectacle. He then looked up: Gryphon was fleeing to space, almost as if to goad everyone into following him. Seeing the resolve on the human's faces, and the determination to save their planet, SpaceGodzilla lowered his snout to the teens. He raised his claw in front of them, and encased them in a light the same color as his crystals. Martin was giggling. "Hey! That tickles!" Alex was also laughing uncontrollably. "You know, for an alien copycat of Godzilla, he sure knows how to tickle you in funny places!" Sam was also uncharacteristically laughing. Billy was taking measurements: Monarch still knew nothing about SpaceGodzilla, and seeing as how they are short of craft and instruments, and his allies are too busy laughing, and he's an alien himself, he's taking it upon himself to study their new ally. When the light died down, they immediately saw crystalline armor around them all. They also felt the power radiating from this material. They also felt different on the inside, but they can't place why that is so. "Call me Sir Martinalot!" Diana snarked again. "And I assume Alex is your damsel in distress?" "Just call me Warrior Princess Alex. You're the damsel in distress from how many times you panicked and we had to save you!" They all noticed during this interaction that the crystals were quite flexible. Sam then noticed that the armor has several functions. "Guys, this is more than just armor! It's also a power suit and space suit!" Clover then spoke up. "I just wish I could get these crystals as earrings." The group then saw that they were floating, along with their allies: SpaceGodzilla was bringing them with him to finish the fight.
Gryphon had found his cave on the rusty surface of Mars. He had just finished wrecking the various probes also on the surface. He used to be one of the bat-like creatures flying through this cave: Probe Bats. He even used to live in this cave before being mutated. They had just told him through their pheromones that the heroes were on Mars. They also heard that SpaceGodzilla was amongst some crystals doing something odd. Whatever it was, he was going to interrupt it, and then gain his powers to become the permanent alpha of the titans, and God of the world of Earth.
"Cool! I feel like Matt Damon right now!" Diana rolled her eyes. Why does he have to make that joke? At this point she's questioning their parents' choice of partners. Alex chimed in. "Diana, at some point you need to realize why Martin is your step brother. I imagine he wants to get along with you. He does care in his own way." "Huh. I never thought of it that way. True, we don't have much in common, if anything, but yeah. We may have different parents, but he is my brother, if not by blood."
The group was at the base of Olympus Mons, while nearby SpaceGodzilla was recharging. Two massive obelisk-like crystals were zapping him with solar energy. Martin was busy taking photos of the landscape, even taking a selfie with Alex. That was, until a strange creature not unlike a bat the size of a doberman dog swooped in. Atomic breath from Godzilla scared it away, but that brief moment told the others to expect trouble.
Moments later, Gryphon appeared, this time with an army of these things. "Aw man! Couldn't we just get a vacation?!"
"U-Watch Activated: I-Cutter Selected."
Now fully charged, SpaceGodzilla saw the boy with an odd weapon made of energy. Thinking fast with the probe bat army closing in, he surrounded Martin with orange energy, and fused the I-Cutter to his armor, along with extending it from a knife to Katana/Longsword length. "Woah! Thanks man!" A nod from the alien, and Martin charged into the fray. Turning to Marvin, he did the same with his I-Cutter, except turning it into a halberd. "Huh, nifty." For Java, he gave him a crystalline club. "Java's favorite!" Billy received some modifications to the back of his armor, gaining some crystal shooting cannons. "Aw yeah! I got the big guns!" The girls all received a different weapon: Sam received some claws extending from her gauntlets reminiscent of Wolverine's claws. Clover got a large crystal warhammer. "Uhh, I don't see walls to knock down." Alex got a crystal Katana that made her feel like one of her favorite anime characters. Britney got the strangest crystal weapons of all: Bow and arrows, as well as a saddle for Manda. She felt like she was a samurai of old. Diana got a morning star mace. She looked extremely hesitant, but got a nudge from Angurius as if he was telling her to be brave for Martin and Alex. With all the heroes armed, they got ready to face the approaching horde.
Zilla, Godzilla, and SpaceGodzilla launched a salvo of breaths to the swarm, downing quite a few. Gryphon held back, trying to allow his kin to feed enough to mutate into him and develop his army to finally crush Earth. The flyers of the defenders tried to keep the surviving probe bats away from the lizards. Kong tried to make a beeline to Gryphon himself, roaring the entire way. Anguirus was swatting more probe bats away, and behemoth was making a probe bat shishkebab. Jet Jaguar for his part was a whirlwind of martial arts. From Manda's back, Britney was loosing arrow after arrow, acting as the dragon's range. Billy was feeling like Iron Man, acting as a turret for the three breath artilleries. The rest were having a ball destroying Gryphon's army.
What no one realized is that with each death of his kin, Gryphon was growing in strength. He may lose his army, but this was another aspect of his plan. He has no plans of sharing his victory with anyone. He then sent a telepathic message to his army to ignore the other kaiju, and instead target the humans specifically.
This would prove to be a major miscalculation, as soon after he gave the command, his army fell in droves. He realized that SpaceGodzilla must have modified them. Now no longer having an army, he decided that if you want something accomplished, do it yourself. He decided to target Alex first. Smirking, Alex launched a right hook just in time to stun Gryphon, and break a tooth, knocking it straight out onto the red planet's surface.
Seeing this, Martin was doe eyed. "Wow! If only I met you like this sooner!" Seeing his flirt, Alex retorted with a smile. "Oh come on, babe! I'm not a princess to be saved, you know that. Besides, I can't let you steal all the fun for yourself. You owe me dinner after this."
In a stunning change of heart, Diana then said, to the shock of everyone present, especially Martin, "What do we say we continue to kick some alien tail?"
Roaring in pure anger, Gryphon ripped out a large chunk of rock from the extinct volcano, and chucked it toward the teenagers. At the same time, he charged toward them at top speed, lashing out the entire time. Sam, in the nick of time saving Clover from being snapped in the Chimaera's jaws, pulled a Wonder Woman crossing her wrists into an x. She then shoved him back, sending him into a sharp rock pillar, impaling him from under the chin, and through his scalp. However, he is still alive, and yanks the pillar out of him and the ground, and charges once again, swinging the new weapon like a true feral beast. Seeing his master and his friends in danger, Zilla dove, swiped them into his arms, and leapt out of the way. "Thanks buddy!" Zilla then sent a stream of flames at the feral beast that now was Gryphon. Being staggered, Gryphon then felt a sting of pure pain, and a loss of vision. Britney had blinded him with her last arrow. Manda then dove down, and wrapped himself around Gryphon's neck, trying to choke him. Anguirus then decided to play a dangerous version of bowling, and rolled into a ball shape, aiming at Gryphon. A direct hit, Gryphon fell, and then Rodan and Mothra ripped his wings clean off. Kong then swung his ax into his jaw, managing to cut out his hydra tongue.
SpaceGodzilla then grabbed the cripple, and flew toward a clean path toward the sun. Throwing him into the direction of Sol, he hurried back to Mars. Even in the vacuum of space, he heard the agonizing cries of Gryphon burning alive in the sun, never to be seen or heard again. Landing on Mars, SpaceGodzilla lowered himself to the humans, the other Kaiju doing the same. Feeling the gravity of this gesture, the humans were surprised, not knowing how to feel about this. Martin tried to do an alpha roar, but ended up coughing. "Okay, no more of that." In a surprising human gesture, SpaceGodzilla put his hand to his heart, and tilted his head down as if bowing, with a grunt that spoke as if to a fellow respected warrior. With that done, and using the last of his power, he teleported them home, and then faded away.
Back on Earth, Godzilla then looked at everyone, and to the carnage, before raising his own head to the sky, sending out an alpha roar. Bowing to their king, even the humans did the same.
"KIDS!" Nick was heard yelling and running to them, along with Miki and Madison. "What happened? Is everyone okay? We all lost a signal from you." "Nick," Martin patted Nick on the shoulder. "We've won. Gryphon is dead. Earth is saved. The titans are free." The team had long lost their armor and enhancements, but that was okay. The war was won, no more monster menace. Sam then spoke up. "SpaceGodzilla did give his life to do this, and entrusted Earth's safety to us, but I feel we should have a quick funeral for him." Nick nodded at this, and went to finish the cleanup, prepare the funeral for the true savior of Earth, and to put in a good word for M.O.M. and Jerry.
Epilogue, Torrington Academy
"Wow, Alex, it still doesn't feel real. We saved Earth twice in a row!" "Yeah, and Diana changed for the better, as did Mandy. Speaking of which, I wonder how they're doing?"
Beverly Hills
Sam and Clover had just exited math class. "Finals went amazing, didn't they Clove?" "Aw yeah! I got full straight A's! Now to see about that new date!" They then saw Mandy standing on a corner. She saw them, and approached with open arms. Caught by a surprise hug, she sniffled. "Thank you, for everything." Clover was shocked. This was new. Maybe the aftermath of Gigan got to her. "So, no more superiority complex?" "Better than that! You showed me what a friend should be, and I am truly grateful to call you both my new friends!" Sam was touched, but realized something. "We're touched by this, truly. Just make sure you keep our identities secret." "No problems, Sam. In fact, maybe WOOHP can hire me as an Information Broker. I am a good hacker." Clover and Sam looked at each other, and then pulled out their compowders. "Jerry, we have a new recruit!"

Looking at the building of Beverly High, Godzilla starred. Thinking about everything that has happened, and what SpaceGodzilla did. He believes his brother made the right choice. Taking one last look, Godzilla turned around to the sunset, and began his journey to Monster Island, diving into the calm waters, now reigning supreme for eternity.
