Later that night.
''Damn remind me to thank Marley and Kitty next time.'' Santana breaths out as she leans back into Brittany's embrace, Brittany chuckles as Liv and Abi hum in agreement reclining back into each others embrace on the love seat and kisses the back of Santana's head.
''I will.''
''What was that about celebration dinner they mentioned on the bag?'' Abi asks curiously, Brittany bites her lip and smiles shyly.
''I um.'' She runs a hand through her hair and shrugs. ''The crew called me to the restaurant today, that is where Nic and I were before your message.'' She tells Abi.
''We thought you were playing soccer with him.'' Abi breaths out.
''Yeah that was the plan but their call changed it because they told me it was important.'' Brittany murmurs. ''Turns out we had two quite famous visitors known in the culinary world and they left a message for me.''
''What did it say?'' Santana asks tilting her head back with an eyebrow raised.
''Young, wild and crazy grills got nominated for the James Beard Award and to a cookout the 4th of July.''
''Babe that's amazing!'' Santana gasps out as Liv and Abi both jump up with a gasp, Brittany smiles as both women lean over Santana to hug her tightly and dips her head as she feels Santana pull her down with her hand wrapped around the back of her neck as soon as they pulled back.
''It's just a nomination.'' She breaths out after kissing Santana softly.
''Doesn't matter, your restaurant is already amazing if they come by and nominate you.'' Santana breaths out. ''Will you join the cookout?''
''Kitty and I both will.'' Brittany replies with a small grin as Abi and Liv hum in agreement. ''Marls will handle the cocktails.''
''Just the three of you?''
Brittany nods her head turning to Liv and smiles. ''Yeah I also used today to talk with them and promoted them, Kitty to be the kitchen manager and Marls will be the president/manager along with being the manager of the celebrity part of the restaurant together with Steph.''
''And they accepted?'' Santana asks with a smile knowing they declined in the beginning, Brittany nods her head and smiles.
''Yeah they did that is why I invited them and the crazies over next weekend, I also invited your parents, grandmother, uncles, Maria and her family.'' Brittany replies. ''We can use that day to tell everyone and just enjoy a BBQ night here.''
''Did you invite Chris and Claire too?'' Santana asks curiously, she smiles as she shakes her head and kisses the underside of her jaw. ''Invite them too babe, they are a part of your friend group too and the more the merrier right?''
''I will.'' Brittany breaths out with a grin. ''Sue already knows too I texted her right after I heard it, 4th of July is a training day but she told me she will cancel it that day and that everyone will join and watch.''
''There will be a huge group joining.'' Liv muses. ''Your team will join, the crew will join and all of us will join too.''
''Your restaurant is a hit and whatever you cook will be amazing B.'' Abi breaths out with a grin. ''We all had tasted a few of your recipes and till now we absolutely loved everything.''
''James beard in two months, Michelin stars soon after mi amor.'' Santana murmurs with a proud grin.
''We have two movie actresses in our family, but you are rising up the ladder of fame with your restaurant, soccer career and being a DJ, B.'' Liv adds with a grin. ''You will be a known name around LA just because of that.''
''Can we change the subject please?'' Brittany just asks her ears turning red, Santana giggles knowing her girlfriend doesn't react well to everyone complimenting her and slowly reaches up to run her finger over her quickly reddening ear.
''Get used to it Britt-Britt, you are amazing and everyone will acknowledge that soon.''
''Movie?'' Liv just asks as Brittany just drops her head against the back of Santana's head to hide her blush, she chuckles as she hears Brittany hum and shoots her a wink as she looks up with a thankful grin. ''You pick, master chef.''
''Fuck you, you ass.''
Santana burst into a fit of giggles, immediately regretting it as she watches Liv turn to Brittany in surprise and Brittany's eyes widen the second she realizes what left her mouth and quickly grabs her ribs. ''Fuuuck.''
''San.''
She shakes her head as they all breath out her name and holds up her hand. ''Just gimme a minute.'' She croaks out through the pain, Brittany bites her lip gently helping Santana recline further back against her after kicking her feet up on the couch and catches the cool pad they grabbed for her as Liv throws it in her direction.
She gently slides it onto her ribs underneath the shirt she wears and kisses her temple as she hears her soft grunt followed by a shiver, she grabs the painkillers off of the table and holds one up to her lips accepting the bottle Abi holds out for her. ''Take this, love.'' She whispers softly.
''Shit.'' Santana breaths out dropping her head back against Brittany's toned shoulder the pain clear in her voice after she swallowed the painkiller. ''Please don't make me laugh.'' She whispers with a slight grin. ''I am glad you dropped the politeness around them though.''
''Does that mean that we are in the inner circle now?'' Liv teases.
''Be glad I can't make my girlfriend laugh.'' Brittany grumbles, she shakes her head as Liv laughs and nods her head to the remote controls. ''The both of you can pick a movie.''
''The inner circle huh?'' Santana teases. ''Is that some kind of fetish I don't know of?''
''You know other fetishes she has?'' Abi asks in amusement.
Brittany covers her face with a groan as Liv burst out laughing and shakes her head. ''Can the both of you please shut up and put on a movie?'' She turns to her girlfriend, rolling her eyes as she notices her amused sheepish grin and sighs. ''Be glad I love you.''
She gently presses the cooling pad against Santana's ribs as she chuckles through a soft groan and kisses her temple. ''Try not to laugh for a next few days San.'' She murmurs against her temple, she turns to the girls and smiles slightly. ''Pick anything but a comedy please.''
''Horror?'' Liv asks with an eyebrow raised, Brittany shakes her head and smiles slightly.
''Santana hates those.''
''You do?'' Abi asks in surprise. ''Since when? I thought you only hated acting in one.''
Brittany turns to Santana with an eyebrow raised and tilts her head as she notices the blush creeping up her cheeks. ''Babe?''
''Oh you are smart as fuck San.'' Liv laughs out. ''You acted like it scared you so you could sit closer to B?''
''When?'' Abi just asks chuckling.
''A few months after we met.'' Santana breaths out blushing bright red. ''Quinn started objecting and I went with it, I have no idea why Puck and Q both forgot that I absolutely love Freddy and knew all jump scares but I am kinda glad they went with it.''
''They were drunk as fuck.'' Brittany muses. ''You acted being scared just to scoot closer?'' She asks in amusement. ''You know that you could have just asked right? You are one of the few people who wouldn't receive a no and that from the beginning.''
''I didn't know how without sounding like a fucking creep.'' Santana grumbles. ''I held you on arms length but still wanted to cuddle.''
''Yet you never did.''
''Never did what?'' Santana asks in confusion as Liv and Abi both turn back to the TV still shaking their heads in amusement.
''Holding me at arms length, sure you were a bit closed off but you never gave me the feeling that I couldn't approach you.'' Brittany murmurs against her forehead. ''After realizing that we were both crushing on each other, you being closed off immediately made sense.''
''We were idiots.'' Santana breaths out with a soft sigh.
''No we were blind.'' Brittany corrects snickering. ''It was clear to everyone around us but we were too focused on not showing the other our feelings that we didn't realize that it was quite obvious.''
''It sure was.'' Abi tells them laughing. ''If emojis were a thing, the both of you would have had heart eyes.''
''We all knew but the night we managed to trick the both of you into dancing together, it became even more clear and we managed to break you apart before you could kiss.'' Liv adds laughing.
''The vibe was definitely there and the slowly inching closer too.'' Abi agrees snickering. ''We knew we had to break you apart because Abuela would have killed Britt on the spot.''
They laugh as both girls blush and shake their heads. ''Movie?'' Liv offers snickering as Brittany just hides her face in Santana's dark locks again.
''Yeah now that we are on the confession train.'' Brittany breaths out, she bites her lip as Santana turns to her and chuckles. ''I hate horror movies, I just tried to keep my face neutral and body still whenever a jump scare neared.''
She blushes as she hears the two women seated on the love seat laugh loudly and shrugs as Santana's eyebrows raise in surprise. ''Puck probably forgot that I hate them and I didn't want him to make fun of me so I just agreed, the second I thought you were scared I put my own worries behind me and just focused on calming you.''
Santana shakes her head and snickers. ''God we were both idiots.'' She breaths out, she turns to Liv and snickers. ''Pick anything but horror and comedy, por favor.''
She turns back to Brittany as Liv nods her head just looking at them in amusement and tilts her chin up to peck her lips. ''You definitely fooled me.'' She breaths out through a soft chuckle. ''I never felt you flinch or tense during the whole movie.''
Brittany smiles slightly and shrugs. ''Ask Puck about the nails in his leg.'' She whispers with a sheepish grin. ''His groaning wasn't because Quinn made his arm tingle, it was because his leg was hurting.''
''Anything else you did that you normally dislike?''
She shakes her head and chuckles. ''Nope just horror movies, you acted like you didn't like something but secretly did?'' She asks softly as they lock eyes.
''Nah just that.'' Santana whispers as she hears Abi snicker, she turns to look at her sister and raises an eyebrow. ''You be quiet, you acted like you hated heights for the first few months of your relationship with Liv just so she would hold your hand whenever we went to the Ferris wheel.''
''That was cute.'' Liv breaths out chuckling.
''Yeah and you acting like you were afraid of thunder was too.'' Abi breaths out shooting her a glance.
''Now Soph is and we use your method that you tried to calm me down, on her.'' Liv points out shrugging. ''I think everyone acted like they disliked or liked something in the beginning of a relationship to be closer to the other.''
''Puck still takes the cake though.'' Santana breaths out chuckling, she smiles as she feels Brittany's warm hand cover her ribs after cooling it the whole time, her touch immediately soothing the throb and leans her head back grinning as she turns to her with an eyebrow raised. ''He sat through a concert of the one directions and tried not to gag.'' She explains in amusement. ''He absolutely hated their music but Q was a huge fan, so he bought tickets and went on a second date to their concert with him.''
Brittany laughs and shakes her head. ''Yeah that is what we both promised ourselves, even if we don't like something, we will sit through it to make sure our girlfriends are happy.''
''There are two in a relationship though.'' Liv breaths out. ''You can't just do things to please your partner.''
''We won't.'' Brittany replies chuckling. ''But their happiness is our priority, if it is something we really don't want to do, we will compromise.''
Abi and Liv smile lovingly as Santana nuzzles her face against Brittany's neck, the both of them hearing the soft content sigh that escapes her lips. ''You girls want to binge watch South of Nowhere until we crash?''
''What is that?'' Santana asks curiously.
''Just watch Hermana.'' Abi breaths out chuckling as Liv and Brittany turn to Santana in surprise.
''She doesn't know any of the movies or series?'' Brittany asks curiously, she snickers as Abi and Liv both shake their heads and kisses the back of Santana's head. ''We have to catch up on a lot of things love.'' She breaths out with a grin. ''Looks like I need to grab my collection out of the gaming room.''
''Collection?'' Liv asks with an eyebrow raised. ''What kind of collection?''
''Not what you think.'' Brittany tells her with an eye roll as she notices her smirk, she shakes her head as Abi snickers and sighs. ''Mind out of the gutter Liv.''
''What the hell am I missing out on?'' Santana asks in confusion, Brittany chuckles and kisses her forehead.
''Just watch the series San, you will know what we mean.'' She pecks her lips as she frowns and nods her head to the TV as Liv pushes play.
''Snacks?'' Liv asks as she stands up, she shakes her head as Abi reaches out to pause and winks. ''We watched this so often, I know exactly what will happen during every episode babe.''
''Same.'' Brittany breaths out laughing. ''Season three is and will always be my favorite.''
''And the webisodes.'' Abi adds, Liv laughs as Brittany immediately nods her head in agreement and leans down to kiss Santana's cheek.
''Just watch San, M&M's?''
Brittany smiles as Santana nods her head still looking a bit confused and adjusts their position leaning back against the arm of the couch with her legs on either side of Santana's hips, she kisses the back of her head as she intertwines their hands on Santana's stomach. ''Watch and enjoy babe.''
Four hours later.
Brittany looks down at Santana as she feels her fully relax against her and smiles lovingly as she notices the sleepy grin on her sleeping face, she looks over at the love seat grabbing her phone as she sees Abi and Liv also sleeping cuddled up underneath the blanket and quickly snaps a picture of them.
She carefully slides from behind Santana making sure to carefully place her back down and she turns the TV off walking over to the love seat and slowly pulls the blanket off of Liv and Abi, she scoops Abi up bridal style and walks out of the living room and down the hall to the guest room.
''Ab's.'' She whispers softly shaking her awake as soon as she placed her down, she grabs the cup of the contact lenses placed on the table and turns to her as she groans softly. ''Take out your contacts.'' She murmurs as tired brown orbs struggle to open.
She opens the cups as she reaches up to tiredly take them out and holds it up for her, she smiles as she reaches over with a tired frown and kisses her cheek. ''I will bring her in.'' She whispers. ''Go back to sleep.''
''Mh good night B.''
''Good night Ab's.'' She turns on her heels walking back down the hall to the living room and walks over to Liv, she scoops her up biting her lip as she tenses and looks down. ''Go back to sleep Liv, Ab's is in the room too.''
''You are crazy as hell.'' Liv breaths out as her body hits the soft surface of the bed. ''Careful with carrying San.'' She whispers as she turns on her side to cuddle up to her fiance.
''I will.'' Brittany promises. ''Good night girls.''
She closes the door behind her as the replies reaching her are soft snores and walks back into the living room, she bites her lip looking at her girlfriend and walks over to the couch. ''Babe.'' She murmurs softly as she crouches down beside the couch, she smiles lovingly as she groans and gently taps her arms. ''Wrap your arms around my shoulders.''
She hooks her right arm beneath her knees as she tiredly reaches up to wrap her arms around her shoulder and carefully picks her up supporting her back with her left arm, she walks up the stairs making sure she won't jostle her too much as she feels her face nuzzle in her neck and walks down the hall to her bedroom.
She kicks the door to her room closed and walks over to her bed gently placing Santana back down, she kisses her head after tucking her in and crouches down in front the mini fridge in her room making sure she still has a cool pad stored upstairs.
She grabs two bottles of water out of it as she notices that she has three upstairs and places one of the bottles beside Santana on the nightstand, she crawls into the bed beside her grinning as she immediately turns over to nuzzle her face in her lap and leans down to kiss her temple. ''I love you, good night San.''
''Mh amo, Britt.'' She smiles hearing her soft tired slur and gently runs her hand through her dark locks making sure she won't touch the bandage on her temple, she leans her head back against the headboard after tugging the blanket up so it covers Santana entirely and grabs her phone.
She opens her Instagram as she notices a few unread notifications and raises an eyebrow as she sees an unread story the official Angels FC page tagged her in, she taps it biting her lip as she sees a picture of her and the crew and reads the message above the picture they shared.
So incredibly proud to announce that our Phoenix's restaurant Young, Wild and Crazy got nominated for the James Beard Award!
She bites her lip quickly as she scrolls further noticing that everyone including Puck, Quinn and her teammates posted things to their story congratulating her and smiles slightly. ''Well looks like I won't have to tell it Saturday.'' She whispers softly to herself.
She shares all of their congratulations to her own story, thanking every single one of them and to switch to the Instagram page of the restaurant, she taps the button to post something and scrolls down to the album containing all pictures of the restaurant and the crew.
She selects a few pictures of them all working on building everything up and adds a few pictures of the restaurant finished, the crew at work and a picture of all of them together during a cocktail night.
She glances at the time and taps the box to write a message.

Exactly one year ago today the crew and I opened the doors to the restaurant not knowing that we would stand where we are standing now!
Without the crews amazing help I would have never dreamed of this though! MarleyRose & KittyWilde gave me the last push towards one of my dreams, meeting their and now my good friend MikeJoel who offered to help me because he had experience made me really go for it.
Without the three of them I would have never dreamed of all of this happening but now I have thirteen amazing people walking around the restaurant and causing the countless of amazing reviews I read through on yelp, MikeJoel and JasonHunt work their magic in the kitchen and make sure the recipes I wrote down during my teenage years taste amazing.
JayChang & KevinSmith use their creative minds to serve the customers amazing and one of a kind cocktails, every single glass is a piece of art Alcoholic, non alcoholic and colorful children drinks no matter what you order, they will make sure it not only tastes amazing but also looks amazing.
JessicaGrey, AshleyGreen and Ann & Fran both without Instagram are the kind women walking around and making sure every customer is happy and will leave the restaurant with a big smile, no matter what questions someone asks, they always have an answer and if someone is in need for some company they will clock in their break and spend it with them so they can talk to someone.
KylieJones, StephanieBrown and JohnStephens are first people you see when you walk in or the kind voices you hear when you call, their cheeriness immediately infects the customer and they get seated while they joke around or tell a bit about the restaurant.
KittyWilde deserves an own introduction same goes for Marley, Kitty is the head of the kitchen and is the reason everyone is happy customer and the cooks. She helps cooking and has the recipes I wrote down memorized while adding her own touch, she is also the mastermind behind some of the desserts and whenever we have a crew 'meeting' which is more like a big group of friends meeting up we create recipes together.
MarleyRose, I don't even know where to start. Marley is my right hand and that since the very beginning, aside from the restaurant I have three other jobs but my main focus is soccer. Marley knows and takes over whenever I can't, now that I also found my best friend again she often pushes me out of the restaurant or texts me to tell me that she can handle it and enjoy the time with him, his family and my girlfriend & little boy.
She is the manager of the restaurant but often jumps in to work wherever it's needed, whenever we spend time together outside of the restaurant we both come up with most of the cocktail recipes that are found on the menu and the cocktail menu changes at least once a month because we came up with an even better drink.
Without the crew I know that I would have never dreamed of the James Beard Nomination, sure the restaurant is mine on paper but they threw in just as much energy as I did during the build up.
The restaurant is ours and without them there is no Young, Wild and Crazy Grills.
So thank you so much for everything you did and still will do crew! I am so incredibly proud of what we have achieved in just one year and am so happy to experience it with all of you, let's see what the future brings!
She posts it after adding several hashtags and returns back to her own page, she shares it to her story as soon as it shows up first on her timeline and glances down at Santana as she hears her soft groan. ''Easy love.'' She murmurs dropping her phone beside her as she tries to curl up and cuddle closer.
She scoots down after reaching over to grab one of the cooling pads out of the mini fridge and smiles lovingly as her face immediately nuzzles in her abs, she gently pushes the cooling pad against her ribs over the shirt she wears and runs her free hand through her dark locks as she feels her shiver.
She reaches up to turn off the lights as she feels her face hide in her abs knowing the blinding light irritates her and rakes her nails through her hair making sure not to touch the bandage, she chuckles softly as she hears the soft hum knowing she is still fast asleep and shakes her head. ''It's okay San.'' She murmurs soothingly, she keeps the cooling pad pressed against her ribs as she moves slightly and gently grabs her hand as she tries to grab it. ''No, no keep it there.''
''It's cold as fuck.'' Santana grumbles tiredly.
''But it's soothing the pain.'' Brittany whispers, she scoots further down the bed as she feels her lift her head a bit knowing exactly what she wants and kisses her forehead as her head lands on her shoulder. ''Go back to sleep beautiful.''
''Don't stay up.'' Santana murmurs tiredly as she nuzzles her face against her shoulder. ''Try to sleep too Britt-Britt.''
''I will.'' Brittany promises softly, she smiles as Santana hums softly and intertwines their hands on her abs as she feels her right hand search for hers. She nuzzles her nose in Santana's hair as she feels her relax and slowly allows herself to relax knowing Santana will kill her if she does stay up, she takes the cooling pad off of her ribs and slides her cold hand up her shirt after throwing it on the nightstand. She covers her cold ribs with her hand hoping it will sooth the pain too and slowly allows her eyes to slip close after tugging the blanket up to her chest.
