Six brothers and sisters. Six times the matchmakers.
Chapter 2
"Hiro, I know my brothers and sisters want us to date, but do you gotta smell my hair? We haven't even gone anywhere yet, y'know?"
"Kazuki, they had me trapped in that bathroom for I don't even want to remember how long! My nose needs a reset!"
"Um, we're a restaurant. There's food you can smell inside. Or plenty of fresh air out here, y'know?" Kazuki spread his arms as wide as the automatic doors out front.
"It's your animal magnetism, Kazuki-kun!" Mimori pointed to her pet theory. "Lucky I came by when I did. I'm glad the rose oil I just bought was able to revive you, Hiro-kun!"
"My animal what?" Kazuki said over Hiro's word of thanks.
"You know how animals can't help but be inexplicably drawn to you?"
"Animals?"
"Yes, the ones that chase you all the time!"
"Oh, like the dolphin!" Kazuki recalled his mortal nemesis.
"Or the rhino," Mimori suggested enemy #2.
"Don't forget the monkey, wild boars, and boar-riding gorilla!" Hiro threw his arm around Kazuki, reminding him of the most ridiculous of them all.
Kai was still not over the enraged fist-shaking gorilla with shining red eyes and his stampeding army of pigs.
"Mimori~! Are you comparing Hiro to a wild animal?"
"What attracted them must be attracting Hiro-kun this instance. Right?" She winked at Hiro, this wink going unnoticed by Kazuki.
"BUT THE ANIMALS WERE OUT TO STEAL MY SMARTPHONE AND KILL ME, Y'KNOW?"
"Kazuki." Hiro reached into Kazuki's pocket to take his smartphone.
"Geh-heh! Mimori! It's animal magnetism or whatever! I've gotta run for it!" Kazuki sped away with giant strides.
Mimori and Hiro shared a delayed laugh.
"That was cute. Are you really going to date Kazuki-kun, Hiro-kun?"
"Kazuki's siblings are a handful, but they have a nice idea! Excuse me, Mimori, while I go be his hero!"
