Hey everyone, no new chapter yet, but I wanted to answer a question that I've been asked a couple of times through DMs:
"Will I be adding more Servants?"
Honestly, I don't know.
Thing about it is that, as we know, Servants are incredibly OP in comparison to most, if not all, of Remnant. Give Ritsuka too many, or the right one, and she could easily clean house with little to no resistance.
It's a tricky balancing act. I went into this with the mentality of trying to make it as balanced as possible, which is difficult especially with how the power scaling works in Fate.
Originally I was going to have her take more servants, but ultimately decided against it as I felt that would bloat the already bloated cast. And with RWBY's bloated cast as well, it would end up being too unfocused for me. I had also created some rules for myself when deciding which servants to add to the story, which lead me to choosing who I did. Let's not forget that Nemo, Da Vinci, and Holmes are also here, all of whom can fight just as well. Along with Mash, Chaldea is already well equipped to take on anything Remnant has to offer.
So is all hope lost? Of course not. I could change my mind later on if I can find a way to justify it down the line. It just becomes a matter of who at that point.
Anyway sorry for the random update. This is just something I've been asked quite a bit and I just wanted to answer it. I know my choice in servants included has been limited as of right now, but there are reasons for it. Still in the middle of writing Chapter 7, so look forward to that. I'll delete this once I upload the next chapter. Until then.
