chapter summary: Karai deals with the truth and Mikey has therapy session.

Karai frowned as she stood beside her father.

She had a dream where her dead mother had come to her to tell her the truth.

Was it the truth though?

There was no possible way she was a Hamato.

But then again her dreams hadn't just been dreams in the past. Only very recently did she had a suspicious that the turtle from her dreams was real and a main threat to her father clan. So, now with the information that the man who raised her is a thief and a lair was a hard pill to swallow.

She was a Hamato.

But that was impossible.

Her father wouldn't lie to her about her own birth. Would he?

"What do you mean the turtle challenged you?" asked father to a badly injured Chris.

"He challenged me to a duel to the death Master. I would've killed him, but his friends step in to stop me."

"A duel to the death?" asked Shredder.

"He means business Master. He does not fight to defend himself he fights to the death. It has come to my belief that he had killed Hun."

Hun was someone who had thoughts about joining the Foot clan, but his body was found by a few Foot clan members a few days ago.

"You do not have any proof of that. But still I find it interesting that this turtle even exist. I want to know more about him and the others. I want to know who has trained him and when you find this information kill them," said her father.

She glanced at him one more time the frown on her face not fading away.

She was a Hamato.

Her name wasn't even Karai.

Surely her mother was lying.

"Just for the record this is the worst idea you lot have ever came up with."

With Michelangelo heal and awake he was soon tackle to the ground and tie to a chair. Yes, that's right tied to a chair with rope if anyone asked it was Donnie idea.

"It's the only way to stop you from leaving," said Donnie.

"I wasn't going to leave," said Mikey. His brothers gave him a look that said yes, yes you were. "Alright, I was going to leave."

"And, that right there is why you're tied up with rope," said Raph.

"Which is an awful idea. Does sensei know about this?"

"No," said Leo.

"So, he doesn't know that three of his sons has tied his youngest to a chair?"

"Yeah, pretty much," said Donnie.

"And, what happens if we have to go somewhere?" asked Mikey as he tried to move the chair to his left.

"We're staying down here until you get that dumb idea out of your head," said Raph.

"What dumb idea?"

"Killing this Shredder," said Leo.

"We're ninjas. It's in the job description."

"Doesn't mean you have to let it corrupt you," said Donnie.

"It's not corrupting me."

"Is it the only thing you're thinking about?" asked Donnie.

"Yes."

"See corruption."

"But he's a bad guy that's going to take over the world. I have to stop him now while I can."

"You couldn't take out that other ninja." said Leo. "How are you going to take out a boss leader?"

"I will die trying," said Mikey bluntly.

Donnie looked ready to cry.

"Oh, come on D. What's with you?"

"I don't want to lose you," he yelled. "That's what's with me."

"It's not that bad."

"Mikey," he said furiously.

"Alright my death is a bad thing."

"Good," said Donnie. "A very bad thing. So, no thinking about it so casual."

"I'll try not to. Now, are you going to untie me?"

"No," said his three brothers at once.

"Aww man."

Kirby O'Neil blinked. Mikey stare up at him.

"My sons, do tell me why your brother is tied to a chair?" asked Splinter.

"It's the only way to stop him from leaving the lair sensei," said Donnie.

What an odd sight, thought Kirby. April was heard giggling in the background.

"Mr. O'Neil. I supposed the session would start?"

"That right Splinter."

"Very we'll come along my sons and April. Let us leave so Michelangelo can have his sessions."

"I still don't get it why he needs to go now. We all know," mumbled Raph.

"Know what Raph?" asked April.

"None yar business."

"So, Michelangelo," said Kirby after everyone was gone. "How are you?"

"Fine."

"Do tell me more Michelangelo."

"Call me Mikey. And, there isn't much to tell."

"Really? Will, okay than Mikey then allow me to tell you what I have witnessed. You don't eat enough and you definitely don't sleep enough. Care to tell me why?"

Mikey didn't comment for a long while.

"Mikey?" he asked after twenty minutes.

"What?"

"I've asked a question Mikey and I'm expecting an answer."

"There isn't much to tell."

"Try me."

"Fine, I get nightmares. Always have."

Kirby got a feeling he was holding back information, but he didn't press it.

"And, what kind of nightmares are they?"

"Death. Lots of it. Always about my family being killed."

"Ah, I see that will bother anyone. And, how long have these dreams been happening?"

"A long time since I was a tot."

"Hmm, I see. And, is there anything else troubling you Mikey?"

"No, not really just the dreams."

"And, you had them before you became leader?"

"Hai."

Kirby frowned wondering what he could say. If the dreams started after becoming leader then the answer was simple Mikey was worried about the safety of his brothers. However, learning that they had started up when he was a child made things a bit more difficult.

"Do you talk to anyone about these dramas?"

"No."

"Maybe that's a start then Mikey. Speak to your family about them, tell them how you feel. I'm sure they will listen."

"You don't think I will be a burden to them if I do?"

Kirby frowned wondering where the youngest had gotten that impression from.

"Of course not Mikey. In fact if anything it might make them happy as they will finally begin to understand their youngest problem."

Mikey hummed, but nodded.

"Mr. O'Neil can we end the session for today? I don't feel like talking anymore."

"Of course," said Kirby.

Kirby wanted more answers, but he knew better than to force them out so he allowed Mikey to end the session.
