Izuku was flying to one of the zones that were not water, even though he had a waterproof suit he wasn't ready to test it out. He had heard explosions and earth cracking behind him not long after, indicating that the Nomu and All Might were now in battle. As much as he wanted to see the battle, he needed to make sure the others are safe.
He had just turned around the corner and there in the middle of the ruins zone, Kirishima, Aurora, and Aoyama were fighting their own group of thugs. He admired the quick accuracy of the dragon-tailed female using her Southern Dragon Style martial arts while Aoyama burned and blinded the heavy tankers while Kirishima finished them off with his fists.
They had just finished the armadillo villain when Izuku landed next to them. "Aura-chan, Kirishima-kun, Aoyama-kun you all ok?"
Aurora just growled deeply, causing Izuku's chest to vibrate at the sudden baritone. "These assholes think they can defeat us, what a laugh. If I had my brother's fire breathing quirk they would have been BBQ."
"Oui, they are but small fry." Aoyama said and sheathed his Phaser and Dazzler. He then tapped his yellow glasses and gathered data on the fallen. "Médiocre, one would think they would bring more powerful crooks to deal with UA students and staff."
"Yeah, there has to be a goal, otherwise attacking for no reason is not manly one bit." Kirishima agreed before yanking his hand back and grabbing the head of a chameleon man before slamming him to the ground. "Sneaking behind one's back isn't manly either." He said and gave the crook a dark glare, causing him to shudder. Kirishima was definitely under a lot of strain, especially when things are just going downhill.
Izuku nodded and pointed towards the exit. "Yeah, they were looking to fight All Might, and they got it. He just arrived not too long ago, and I am trying to get everyone to safety. Aizawa is out of commission and Shouji, Sero, and Satou took him to safety. Orca sensei is safe for now, but he got flung into the water in the flood zone. The beast All Might is currently fighting is no joke, and Orca sensei told me whatever happens to get us out and leave the beast to them.
Kirishima gritted his teeth and looked down, frustration marring his features. Leaving anyone behind was not manly, but risking his allies' and friends' lives when they were clearly outmatched was even worse. "F-fine, let's go. I am sure pops has a plan, somehow."
Aurora grabbed his forearm and nodded. "I am sure they will win, but right now we need to follow Izuku-kun. My instincts also tell me to flee, we must live to fight another day."
"Je déteste ça. However, it must be done." Aoyama said and began to run with the others to the entrance. They could see the explosions and hear the earth breaking as they got closer to the battle.
They eventually neared the clearing and they met up with Katsuki's group where the soft blonde was holding the Warp Gate user down and putting his hand on some kind of metal collar. Victoria and Denki were jumping on the trees before landing on the top steps, once there she tended to Denki who looked like he was suffering a migraine from overstimulation.
Meanwhile, All Might and the Nomu were duking at each other, with neither one backing down and showing fatigue except for the No. 1 Hero. He was confused by this beast. How was it able to absorb his strongest punches like it was nothing, and hit him with just the same force? How was it able to regenerate when he tore its arm off? How many quirks did this brute have?
He was getting pissed. Pissed at the fact the villains came out of hiding, pissed that this NOMU is able to fucking wear him out, and pissed that his plans were slowly being undone! He needed to end this.
Shigaraki was thinking the same thing, and he had to rescue his partner from this trigger-happy brat. Don't get him wrong, he likes the fire and determination in this boy's eyes, but he is holding his key out of here hostage. He has to do something drastic, and he is sure he will get repercussions later.
"Now, this won't do. I need him, I don't suppose you will release him if I ask nicely?"
Katsuki only responded by releasing some sparks on the collar, causing small indents on it. "No fucking chance. You want out, then turn yourself in."
Shigaraki sighed, he had to try. "Very well, I have no choice."
Shigaraki snapped his fingers and the Nomu changed the target and lunged at the boy with superhuman speed. All Might cursed at the change and he too switched direction to try to save the boy. It would be a huge cap in his bangs if he can get on the Bakugou's good side even a little.
Katsuki's ears thrummed as he saw the creature blur ever closer to him, and he didn't even have time to react or escape. He thought he was going to die a painful death, much more gruesome than that boulder potentially crushing him.
"KACCHAN!"
Katsuki looked to his side as he saw a flash of red flames coming towards him before being grabbed by the same flame. He had closed his eyes to reduce vertigo as Izuku fire-warped him to above the stairs with the others who had arrived not too long after.
All Might cursed as the fucktoy brat ruined his 'saving' plan with his false Quirk. He grabbed nothing but thin air, causing him to lose his balance and he turned to glare at the Bakugou's, momentarily causing a lapse in concentration as the Nomu arrived behind him.
The next thing Katsuki felt was landing on his back hard as Izuku reformed and landed right on top of him, now panting as the calories were fastly depleting. "O-oi, Izu, you ok?"
The verdanette moaned as he was trying to lift his head. "Y-yeah, just tired." Izuku slurred as his body begged for a nap and food. "T-tha Nomu…"
Screams interrupted their conversation followed by more screams from others, as Katsuki had to block his brother's eyesight as the said Nomu punched through the Symbol of Peace's abdomen and yanked out, crushing the stomach and tearing the intestines out of All Might.
"IMPOSSIBLE!" Tokoyami yelled, staring at the scene in horror as his shadow hid behind him.
"Jesus Christ, that is a fatal blow." Dokusei cringed as he saw pieces of intestines and guts land everywhere. Victoria was behind him holding onto Denki and looking disturbed. She was rubbing his back gently as the migraine became unbearable.
Aurora rubbed Aoyama's back as he too purged his contents, growling and twitching her tail as she felt helpless in helping him. She was warring against her instincts currently to either save him or let him die and protect the broccoli which she claimed as part of her clan. She must protect Izuku.
Everyone else was either silent or purging their contents as All Might coughed up a large amount of blood, staring down and holding his abdomen, trying to keep whatever organs that were left before he collapsed from shock and loss of blood. He could hear the student's screams of despair and disbelief, and all he could think of was that it was Midoriya's fault, and if he lived he would make the fucktoy's life a living nightmare.
"K-kacchan?" Izuku asked before he was hushed by his brother, causing him to become alert as the adrenaline picked up. "W-what is going on?"
"...All Might got injured…" Katsuki said, refusing to tell him more. His stomach was roiling from the scent of blood and the gruesome display.
Shigaraki chuckled lightly before laughing loud and menacingly. "Finally! The Symbol of Peace has fallen! Even if you do survive, you will never live long! Suffer and Repent all your sins, All Might, for the Reaper has descended upon you."
Everyone was silent as the Villain continued to laugh, watching the blood pool around the No. 1 Hero, and the Nomu was slowly munching on his entrails. Gang Orca was troubled, but the impact of hitting the water suddenly reduced his strength and was unable to push or paralyze the beast. He had to do something, but ho-
"Rose Red!"
Crimson flames surrounded the Nomu, keeping it in place as the firenado burned its skin and cooked the insides of the beast. Screams were heard as it kept regenerating itself, swinging the flames away fruitlessly as the temperature rose around them.
"IZUKU!" Katsuki was panicking, he saw his brother snap as he was slowly losing consciousness in his grasp, and something dark just appeared in his eyes like some kind of Dark Phoenix. "Izuku, STOP!" The blonde was frantic as the images of Izuku doing that same move to the Sludge Villain came into repetition. This was not Izuku, this was not the kind green bean, he needed to save him.
Laughter was heard within the firenado as Izuku's prey was still trying to escape, his eyes wide in crazed excitement as he reformed above the Nomu. He then put two hands together in a closed fist position and widened them, forming flames in between before it formed some kind of flaming spear. "Lock On….Spear of Mars!"
The flaming spear then shot down and pierced the Nomu's brain, and the beast screeched in intense pain for several moments as it cooked his brain and organs from the inside out. The creature then became limp, and unmoving before it eventually collapsed into a smoking mass.
Everyone watching the scene stared at him in complete shock, however, Katsuki was slowly coming towards him after the firenado disappeared and he reformed back to his brother, only this time, he noticed there were red highlights forming at the tips of his forest green.
"I-Izuku?"
Izuku looked at him suddenly as if trying to determine if he was a threat. "K-kacchan…" He said as he slowly walked toward him, his red flames becoming smaller as he got closer to his brother. He was welcoming the verdanette with open arms, and he was about to enter them before a gurgled cough was heard from his right. Izuku stopped and turned to see All Might trying to get up, glaring at him with his icy blue stare like he was trying to assert some kind of dominance.
Izuku visibly tensed as his mind suddenly rewound to a time a few years ago while he was still in Inko's 'care.' Those eyes…. Izuku thought, realizing the eyes seemed familiar and bringing dread inside his core. I have seen those eyes…
"Hold him still, this will hurt a lot especially for a Quirkless shrimp."
"Make sure he can really feel it, the twink needs to know his place."
"You…" Izuku suddenly said, and Katsuki flinched horribly at the low tone. He was turning to All Might and his flames suddenly grew wild and crimson. "YOU CREEP! WHY ARE YOU STILL ALIVE?"
"Izuku, WAIT!" Katsuki screamed and got in Izuku's way to prevent himself from killing the bastard. "Don't kill him, it's not worth it!"
"IT WAS HIM!" Izuku screamed, tears flowing violently as he remembered the pain, the sizzling, and the burning flesh. "IT WAS HIM, HE'S YAGI!"
All Might cursed as Izuku revealed his name, now realizing he was remembering details that should have been sealed. He needed to stop him from talking more, otherwise, he would lose everything.
Katsuki was confused. "Yagi? You're not making any sense, Izuku. What the hell are you talking about?" Katsuki hissed as the flames started to burn him, and Izuku was not able to control it right now. He knew he didn't trust All Might, and he thought it was because he was a Quirkist Douche. No, he was way out of the ballpark with what his brother said next.
"No, no, he needs to die. HE MARKED ME!"
Silence filled his ears as he pieced that information together. All Might was the one who branded Izuku? Th-then…is All Might-
The next thing he felt was his brother yanking him out of the way as a large silhouette appeared behind him and the look of pure fury filled All Might's usual smiling features as he punched the air with a Detroit Smash, knocking Izuku back several feet to a rock pillar. Izuku coughed and gasped as sudden pain filled his spine, hearing several bones shatter followed by numbing as the pieces went through his spine before unconsciousness took him.
"IZUKU!"
"I-I am s-sorry young man…" All Might said, putting up a facade of looking sorrowful. "Y-you looked like you were in so much pain, I-I didn't know how to help you besides this…"
Shigaraki and Kurogiri cursed as the boy they were keeping an eye on got injured, however, they had received information that would be useful. "...Kurogiri…It's time to go…"
