Ever since the Lockdown of Love III, Ethan and Xenobia seemed to possess a romantic bond that could only ever be on par with the kind of love his parents had for each other. Granted, it did seem strange that Ethan would move on to his late wife's granddaughter (and Jonah even admitted as much), but that didn't take away from the fact that they did indeed have chemistry together. They may have had different backgrounds and different upbringings, but that didn't seem to affect the way they felt about each other. In fact, Ethan and Xenobia seemed to be on the same page when it came to their feelings for each other. They even agreed that they would take things slow, as they wanted to make sure they got to know each other and build a strong foundation before they took the next step.

So for a while, they decided to just enjoy the relationship while they could. They went out on dates, traveled together on Ethan's business trips, and had long conversations about everything and anything. Even Jonah noticed the way they would look at each other when they thought no one else was around, and it was clear that their relationship was real and strong. Ethan and Xenobia had found a way to make it work, and it was a beautiful thing to watch. They were a happy couple, and they clearly enjoyed each other's company. It was a kind of love that many people could only dream of, and it was something that had died along with Zora that Ethan had desperately wanted to experience again. So fortunate it was, then, that Ethan had managed to find it again with one of Zora's grandchildren. He hoped the two of them would stay as they were for the rest of their lives.

So you could imagine how shocking it was, then, when three months after the Lockdown of Love III, Xenobia noticed that she'd been feeling crappier than usual. Not to mention her period was several weeks late. Xenobia was scared, and so was Ethan. They both knew what this could mean, and they were both afraid of the answer. After a few days of worrying in silence, Xenobia finally took a pregnancy test, and their fears were confirmed. Xenobia was pregnant. Xenobia and Ethan sat in stunned silence, feeling both terrified and excited. They had known that it was a possibility, but it still felt like a dream. They had created a new life, and it was both surreal and thrilling. They knew that their lives were about to change dramatically, but whether it was for better or for worse wasn't clear right now. One thing was certain, though: they were finally going to be a family.

"I can't believe it..." Xenobia muttered loudly enough for Ethan to hear. "We're going to be parents."

"I know," Ethan replied.

"What if I'm a bad mother? I'm not ready for this, Ethan! What are we going to do?"

Ethan put his arm around her, trying to console her. "It's going to be okay. We can do this together. I'm here for you, and I'm sure you'll make an amazing mother." He kissed her forehead and held her close. "We can figure this out. Everything will be alright."

"How do we tell people, though?"

"I don't know, but I know I'll be by your side through it all."

Ethan kissed her again, this time on the lips. He looked into her eyes, and she felt his love for her. She knew that no matter what happened, he would be there for her. He smiled, and she felt a warmth from his gesture. He was the one person she could rely on, and he had been since the beginning. She knew that with him by her side, she could make it through anything. No matter how difficult the situation, she knew he would be there for her.

Maddie currently had Ultraprison stationed at Norilsk, one of the most remote towns on the planet and located deep in the northernmost parts of Siberia. It was an incredibly risky move to station here since the nearest town was miles and miles away, too far away in fact to get help in case something went wrong.

In any case, Maddie and the rest of Ultraprison were gathering the inmates who would be joining them abroad when Maddie suddenly got a phone call from Ethan. Maddie decided to take it in case it was something serious.

"Hello?" Maddie greeted. "Is everything alright?"

"I think so," Ethan replied. "Something important came up and I thought I would share it with you."

"Really? What is it? Have you decided to keep the reality show going for another season?"

Ethan could be heard laughing on the other end. "Well, we'll see about that. Actually, this is something else."

"Well, what is it? Spit it out!" Maddie was starting to get a little irritated as to why she was in the dark about this seemingly important information.

"It's Xenobia."

"What about her?"

"She's pregnant."

Maddie nearly dropped her phone in surprise. "Oh my God, really?"

"Yep, she's due in August."

"Wow, congratulations, Ethan. I'm really happy for you. Have you told Mom and Dad yet? Have you told Eddie and Suki?"

"Not yet. I will soon. So, um... what have you and the rest of Ultraprison been up to lately?"

"Oh, the usual stuff..." Maddie looked over to where Eris and Guabancex were subduing some of the newest inmates with tasers. "I've currently got Ultraprison stationed at Norilsk and we've been gathering up inmates for the last few days. How about you?"

"Besides what I just told you, it's been the same old, same old. Recently, Superjail lost around 3,000 inmates but gained an additional 6,000."

"You're getting too lenient with the inmate population, Ethan. You better start thinking about culling more inmates soon."

"I know, I know. Jonah warned me that we might have an outbreak soon if the inmate population keeps increasing like this. Maybe I'll get the Doctor to do some experiments on them so the numbers are lowered a little. Does that sound like a good idea to you?"

"As long as it's in the name of population control."

"Okay, thank you, Maddie. Problem solved."

"No problem. Let me know if you need anything else."

"Okay. Well, I guess I'll be going, then. I gotta get to work on culling some inmates."

"Alright, I guess I'll talk to you later. Bye, Ethan."

"Bye, Maddie."

With that, Ethan hung up. Soon, Maddie was left to oversee things on the Norilsk front. After talking with her twin brother, she couldn't help but get this feeling that a brighter future was up ahead for the Warden family.
