Imma be honest, this is really hard..
Everything being lost is really getting me to get into DBZ and DBZA again, much like I was before, just to get some inspiration. I havent been watching a lot of shounen for the past years and in my personal writing, Ive been doing more and more real life/contemporary/coming of age stories. Thats a world of difference compared to these characters within this fantasy world that I lost connection to. I still love DBZ but since I stopped writing fics I kinda neglected my creative imagination, if that makes sense. Ive been writing stories to be as realistic as possible and this is the complete opposite.
Im still actively writing and restoring the timeline, trying to remember and fill in gaps so its most def going to take a while.
Switching up my writing style from this ridiculous Victorian past-tense English to present-time regular English is also giving me some trouble since English is not my first language. Also, I had a phase back then I wanted to try it and I think it was okay but.. yeah.. no. Gonna have to switch.
Not sure if anyone is still out here reading this but Im treating it like my own private project to just FINISH a complex story for the first time in my life lmao. If I fail, I fail, but Im still going to try. If you have any tips or suggestions I would love to hear them. I will try to release every 4 weeks or so but no promises.
