Incrilix: Ok, well I'll be the first to say that I'm actually glad the beginning of the story has started.

I had a thought to implement Fenrir into ruby's fight with Torchwick in the chapter before, but ultimately scrapped it, instead I did a backstory instead, only to really shine some light on my OC, don't really know how well I did on that one, but I'm not hated yet.

Another reason because I don't want him interfering in certain scenes that work towards growth of the main cast.

Anyway, here's another chapter I guess, haha, enjoy.

Vale

(V.A.S Airship)

~Five minutes from Beacon~

Currently seated in the airships rear hull, close to the vessels engine room, and thankfully away from the prying eyes and annoying looks he got from the other 'Huntsman' and 'Huntress' to be.

It wasn't the most spacious of area's, and the loud sound of the engine flaring would put most people off, but sometimes you just had to make do for the price of privacy.

'Bits and pieces huh? never thought secrets would become a currency.' Gazing intently at the metal pendant between his fingers, lost in the shape and the sheer craft of it, to most it was just a silver bunny, tall pointy ears and all, but to Fenrir it just brought too many questions to bare.

Running his thumb over the bunnies head, the smoothness of the metal disturbing him more than anything.

Why didn't tukson bring this up before?

Why does it give him a sense of familiarity?

Eyes narrowing, his lips thinning.

It's made from the same metal as his sword Howl...

Eyes hazing over, simmering with barely restrained anger, shoving the necklace into his coat pocket, letting out a agitated breath, it was a reoccurring thing, he was only ever told what he needed to know, at the benefit of them, never himself.

Laying his hand on a support beam, his discomfort showing clearly on his face as he stared at the ground in silence, his thoughts growing darker as he plunged himself further into the deepest part of his mind.

' It was your own stupidity that landed you here, I don't get why you see a need to bitch about what happened now'

' Don't fucking start with me! I knew what my purpose was, I knew my role, and I did what I had to do.'

'Hahaha! you were groomed and you know it, your purpose? you were a tool you idiot! you did what you were made to do, nothing more!'

'Shut up! and what purpose do you serve huh? you've been doing a pretty sloppy job at whatever the hell you were made to do!'

'Oh god you're pathetic! fighting with me gets you nowhere, my purpose? you should already know that fenrir.'

'Stop playing games with me!'

'Games? fighting with yourself is not a game, you're minds just too screwed up to figure that out.'

'What?!'

'You may want to calm down now...'

Words once spoken, from a past that feels so easy to slip back into...

'I'm grooming you to replace him someday Fenrir, your place at my side is all that matters now...'

Gold eyes hazing over with anger, losing himself once again, the creaking of metal going completely unnoticed as his rage grew tenfold, the whites of his knuckles showing as the beam bent in on itself.

"Alright this is your pilot speaking, students, whoever's flaring their aura right now, please refrain from doing so within the airship."

Blinking in bemusement, his mind clearing up somewhat, repeating the same words in his head to reign in his distorted emotions.

'Control, breathe, repeat, control, breathe, repeat.'

Grip loosening in an instant, breathing heavily as his urges abated somewhat, his aura dropping slowly as he tried to level it out.

Noting his finger imprints in the beam he crushed, it was safe to say, his private voyage was at an end.

With his anger gone, he was gifted with a sense of clarity, understanding that at least Tukson was more honest than those he's had to work with in the past. it'd be a disservice to hate the man that hid you, clothed you, and fed you for so long.

It still hurt regardless though...

Grabbing his bag and his weapon case, he might as well leave it for now, he didn't really want to dwell on it in the engine room any longer and get in trouble early for vandalism, last thing Fenrir wanted was a bad reputation on the first day.

'Again.'

Looking down in thought, Fenrir wasn't at all mentally prepared for all this yet, being a huntsman as a profession, fighting another hopeless cause, being something he knew he wasn't, and living another person's dream, it was just another necessary hollow life, it was a life he chose yes, but could he be anything else?

Mercenary life was an option, but the pay was terrible, life expectancy was worse than a huntsman, and either way it'd just lead him straight back to square one, back with the white fang.

Assassin was something he was definitely efficient at, but the lifestyle wasn't really that appealing.

Fenrir even considered just staying at the bookstore, which honestly, wasn't a bad idea in the long run.

Raising his eyes, the gold in his eyes dimmer than usual, making his way to the exit to the engine room, the silent hum of the engine would be missed, walking through the automatic doors opening and closing as he made his way down the hall through the storage bay, the area littered with people's belongings, returning to the passenger deck, inhaling quietly, already noticing many of these people were going to annoy the hell out of him.

Looking around searchingly, gold eyes gleaming as he spotted a point of safety, a bench completely vacant of anyone, a rarity he hadn't spotted before, making his way there, before anyone else could get the chance to.

Picking up the pace a bit, his duffle bag in one hand, his weapons case in the other, determined to get there quickly already spotting a group of four making their way to the bench. it sucked because they were a lot closer than he was, also because he didn't want to risk looking desperate by running there.

'Shit!'

Clicking his tongue, halting in his steps, eyes narrowing in annoyance as an armoured guy and his three little groupies sat on the bench, the big one in armour sneering arrogantly at those who wandered past, his friends mimicking his persona and following suit.

'Hn... figures, I should've just stayed in the engine room.'

Moving away from the group, his intent now to find a spot to just sit now, Fenrir didn't care who it's with, just that he had somewhere to sit until this ride was over, he was already starting to get a migraine from looking around too much.

'With the rising crime rates and the large scale theft of dust leaves many authorities to wonder, what is Roman Torchhwick planning, more on this story can be found on your scroll titled 'Master mind at large.'

Fenrir couldn't for the life of himself, find a decent place to sit, the introverts were mixed in between the extroverts, the only one he could see by himself looked ready to spill his guts over the floor, too many spots had people talking or showing off who's weapon looked cooler.

Sighing quietly to himself, giving up altogether, it wasn't worth sitting next to anyone in here after all. making his way over to a column nearby, placing his gear down first before leaning against it, raising his head slightly to watch the news with a look of mild concentration.

'On to further news, Adam Taurus, a high ranking leader within the White fang, has once again solidified a Victory against the atlesian military, marking it down as their sixth successful counter strike against atlas forces.'

Eye's narrowing, looking around to see if anyone else was paying attention, 'Hmm... sixth victory? he's been busy it seems, doesn't bode well if Adams at the forefront again' gripping the pendant wrapped in his hand tightly, his former disinterest evaporating within seconds. 'You better be watching the news today tukson.'

Fenrir knew Adam better than most, no loose end ever fades away for him, not even himself, the hunt would be on soon enough.

If it came down to it, he'd bloody his blade again to protect this life he was given, and the person that got him here in the first place.

Internally shaking that particular topic out of his head, eyeing the boy with blonde hair who had 'Stupidly' decided leave his seat and stand in front of him, his face growing greener and greener by the second, the puffing up of his cheeks, not a good sign.

Frowning at the state of the blonde in front of him, a look of mild shock forming as he understood what was happening. 'Oh, don't tell me...'

Golden irises bloomed in annoyance, still leaning on the wall column, gasps of shock and disgust all around as the blonde had decided to unload his insides all over the floor right of Infront of him.

'Am I to be tested constantly, can't I just ask for a fucking break!' Fenrir's thoughts continued to flare with rage, he was reaching the end of his tether with what keeps happening to him around every corner.

"ugh... way to go Jaune ~burp~ , oh god I need to.." Jaune trailed off as he turned towards everyone looking at him with varying looks, most of them disappointment and disgust, who could blame them? expression growing glum from all the negative attention, turning to where a bit of his vomit had hit someone's boots, looking up slowly, his glum look turning into fear, the color completely disappearing from his face.

"I..I.I"

Fenrir stared at the guy as he continued to stutter, his gaze cold and unfeeling, his irises blazing with molten gold rage, not even finding any sense of joy in seeing the absolute fear in his eyes, of all the people this guy could've chosen to stand in front of, luck was never usually on his side, but this was fucking pushing it.

Jaune couldn't breathe, he didn't know if it was because of the humiliation from his utter lack of bodily control, or the fact that he was now being death stared by a grey haired faunus who looked absolutely terrifying.

Sharpening his glare before pushing himself off the column, walking away from the stupefied blonde, intent purely on reaching the airships bathrooms to wash the vomit off his boots, everyone he walked past smartly keeping their mouths shut.

"Hahaha at least puke boy hit the right target!"

Always has to be someone...

Halting in his steps, everyone still silent as he turned slowly towards the idiot, unsurprised that it was the same armoured fool with his gaggle of clowns that took his seat, each one sporting the same cocky grin.

Each one already signing their death sentence.

Fenrir's glare abated as he stared at the four with cold indifference, his eyes scanning over each of them slowly, memorizing every feature, searing it into his memory, if given the chance, he knew exactly what he needed to do.

Restraint was not an easy thing to possess, his internal struggles still present, but that didn't mean he couldn't do something discreetly later on.

Turning away from them, ignoring their sneering and snide remarks as he made his way towards the bathroom, eyebrows furrowing slightly, Keeping his annoyance in his thoughts, he had no desire in having another problem added on to his already expanding resumè.

Halting before he reached the door, His expression pensive, he knew everyone's eyes were still on him, 'Sometimes fen you just gotta ignore it, alot of people are gonna piss you off and annoy you, but just focus on what you want, do your best, and hope and pray you don't kill anyone, alright! now move your ass!' The thought of Tuksons words eased him a little, remembering the deals and sacrifices the man made to get him here, it was an easy decision to walk away.

They'll die eventually anyway...

Blake

Sighing internally to herself for hopefully the last time today, glad that her earlier debacle with the two sisters and the princess was finally over, her ever present need to finish her book more important than initiating another pointless argument.

'As long as I get to finish my book without anymore distraction's, I'll be good.'

Staring at the pages in her book with a frown, her gaze running along each word slowly, trying to allow her mind to return to where it once was, back into the story she was enjoying.

Looking up from her book, the frown on her face changing to one of agitation, she noticed the problems of her inner dilemma weren't far at all. merely a few feet away, the princess retaining her haughty and 'Im better than you' exterior, her ice cold gaze lingering on two very annoying sisters, who are also to blame for this problem.

She hated socializing, and those two just had to try and Talk to her, she wasn't against making friends, but if you see someone reading, and they look like they're enjoying what they're reading, then it's quite simple, leave, me, alone...

Sighing for what felt like the thousandth time today, Blake didn't know why her mind had to wander off now of all times, closing her book as she turned to stare out the window of the airship, trying to lose herself in the the clouds.

Allowing her blank expression to soften, her eyes going half lidded, 'I never would have imagined myself a huntress, I could've just gone home but..' Expression growing sad at that thought before she smoothed out her features quickly, Stopping herself before her thoughts strayed too far, Blake knew she made the right decision, it just felt right.

"Uh oh, looks like blondie couldn't hold it anymore."

"Ew!!! gross! he got it all over someone's boots! Hey wait, Yang? your blonde too you know."

"Not important right now ruby... look at the guy he got it on! he looks pissed!"

Turning to what the two were talking about, disgust overtaking her features as she noticed the brown puddle made by the hunched over blonde, her gaze turning to boots currently covered in pieces of it, raising her gaze up quickly to get a look of the unlucky victim, her disgust changing back to its indifference, yet a twinkle of curiosity could be seen in her yellow gaze.

His light grey hair and ears made him stand out like a sore thumb with his faunas traits, his good looks were noticed, but unimportant, the glare that was aimed at the poor blonde however, now that, was very important.

Eyes narrowing at the glare directed at the blonde, most jokingly say some people give others a look that promised death, this was one such look that brokered no joke, he looked ready to rip his head off, knowing he was a faunus she hoped he didn't do anything, their already diminished reputation didn't need to fall any lower.

"Twenty lien the hot grey haired guy kills him."

"Yang!"

"Aww come on rubes! he's cute, he's probably an asshole, but he's cute."

"Yang! I'm talking about making bets on people getting killed!"

"Oh... Twenty lien too much?"

Turning back to the two sisters, a bewildered look on her face as they bickered senselessly, Blake reminisced on how difficult it was to get into beacon, it was obvious that it wasn't hard enough it seems.

Gasps could be heard as he did what most thought would be impossible, turning back to the scene, keeping her own surprise at bay as she watched, he had shown restraint and walked away, anybody else would've yelled or at least done what was expected.

Blake's eyes narrowed, which made him all the more suspicious to her now.

Eyeing his movements more closely, her own training coming into play, he moved silently and gracefully, his boots barely even making a sound as he made his way past all the onlookers, the squelching sound of what was on his boots the only sign he was moving at all.

Turning her gaze down to his hands, noticing his index finger twitch when a group of idiots decided to initiate another bad situation, that was the movement of someone ready to reach for a concealed weapon, so Blake confirmed that the grey haired faunus was definitely still armed.

Watching the scene play out in front of her, her eyes narrowing as he stared at each of them with a blank stare, his eyes lingering on the biggest one of the group, those were not the eyes of someone that forgives and forgets, they've been marked.

"You didn't deny he was hot ya know? has my darling little sister, finally developed a crush?"

"Yang!"

'Oh for the love of...' Glaring at the two as they bickered, could they not see the danger this person presented, it didn't matter if he were hot or not, the fact still stands, he's a trained assassin, and it will only be a matter of time before his restraint breaks.

"Do you two just make a habit of making fun of serious situations?'

Lilac and silver met in sync, confusion all but present as they turned to the one who had disturbed their usual 'banter', yellow eyes, black hair, bow on her head, blank facial expression, yup, the same girl they tried and failed to befriend.

and it seems they've managed to piss her off again...

Placing a hand on her hip, yang couldn't help but smirk back at the glare aimed at her and her sister, "Serious? puh-leaaase... that's school yard level stuff." she said dismissively, not seeing the big deal in a moody faunus and his hurt ego.

Glare intensifying, before she closed her eyes and breathed out her nose to calm her annoyance, it wasn't their fault they couldn't take notice of such things, "Nevermind." she muttered before returning to her book.

Yang bristled a little at being questioned then dismissed at the same time, jaw tightening and eyes flashing red for a millisecond, before returning to their lilac hue, "Nevermind? are you serious?" she asked, with barely contained annoyance.

Blake looked up from her book once again, disinterested yellow gaze giving her 'Annoyance' a once over, long wavy blonde hair, her outfit screaming pay attention to me, black short shorts, with a brown belt, brown jacket and yellow undershirt that barely contained her considerably large bust.

The woman in her, thought she was another heartbreaker, who was more interested in hot guys and looking good than anything else, but the combatant in her, knew better, she was definitely a tough one.

Blake's eyes narrowed back in agitation, "Since the situation before wasn't serious enough for you, yes, I'm serious, now leave me alone." she said dismissively once again, returning to her book, which only seemed to fuel the blondes annoyance.

Which she still didn't care for...

"From my point of view, it just seems like basic faunus behaviour."

Ok so now Blake was annoyed, turning her gaze to another apparent inconvenience with a glare, noticing her white hair almost immediately, didn't take a genius to know which family she belonged to.

"Oh yeah, who asked you frosty."

Looking at the blonde now, a look of mild surprise on her face, is she defending a faunus?

the white haired one looked aghast at the insult, "excuse me! do you know who you're talking to?!" she exclaimed, appalled by the disrespect from this random bimbo.

Yang regarded her with her own brand of branwen annoyance, "Yeah I do, some random Ice queen thinking she can fling a racial stereotype around." she answered back bluntly, her shoulders squaring as the one known as frosty marched up to her.

"Uh, yang? I think we should stop now." ruby muttered nervously, wanting desperately to hide herself from everyone, the commotion they were created, garnering quite an audience.

Now face to face with the blonde, her glare intensifying as she regarded yang with an air of superiority, "My name is weiss schnee, heiress to the schnee dust company, and I was stating a fact." she proclaimed haughtily, if this bimbo thought she could insult her without consequences, she can think again.

'Attention all passengers, incoming message from the headmaster of beacon, please quiet down and pay attention!'

both glared heatedly at each other before marching off in opposite directions, both silently agreeing this was far from over.

Ruby chuckled nervously, making a quick apology to her accented with strange hand movements, before running off towards her sister frantically.

Blake just stared honestly, now definitely questioning herself on what she got herself into, with luck, she'd never see them again.

But knowing her luck, that was highly unlikely...

"Is it too late to go home?"

Fenrir

Fastening the straps on his newly cleaned boots, Fenrir got up from his knelt position, still a little pissed about earlier, but seeing as everyone was currently listening to the introduction, he'd just have to suck it up, making his way towards the door, his current intent to focus and ignore everyone.

"Well, I have to say, this is a convenient happenstance indeed."

Closing his eyes with a silent sigh, before reopening them and staring at the hologram of ozpin, currently staring at him through the bathroom mirrors.

Glaring at the man, "Now what do you want?" Fenrir asked annoyed, not at all in the mood for his games.

Shaking his head in mock exasperation a small smile playing on his lips."You just love asking that all the time don't you?" He asked with a humourous tone.

Crossing his arms whilst shaking his head in protest, the gold in his hues lighting up slightly, "I told you, no games, now, what do I need to do?" Fenrir asked bluntly.

Looking slightly surprised before smiling calmly, "I see, no games indeed." his facial expression morphed into one of seriousness, "Currently my prerecorded message is informing everyone of the initiation test, you will be air dropped shortly out of the storage bay of the ship into the forests below" noting the glow in the boys eyes to disappear, he continued on, "Every student will partner with who they see first when they land... you will make sure no one finds you."

Raising an eyebrow in question, but choosing not to comment, Fenrir nodded in affirmation.

"To ensure that happens you will go last out of the vessel, even if you had decided to ignore me, the door was sealed as soon as you walked in here." Ozpin ignored Fenrir's annoyed grunt, continuing on. "Your scroll, when you land, will give you your first assignment, all the information in that scroll won't last forever, so I hope your memory is good, you'll need it."

Fenrir remained silent, offering little in his expressions other than annoyance. but he knew what he had to do, he'd have to shadow someone, the fang had a similar way of handling shadow operations, a dead giveaway was definitely timed info.

Taking a sip from his coffee cup before giving Fenrir an intense look, "This will be the first of many covert assignments, attend beacon as per usual, I will utilize you at convenient times so don't worry." Smirking slightly at seeing his shoulders drop slightly, obviously being called during a private time was not ideal.

"Is that all?"

"No... impress me."

"Fine."

Didn't really have all that much to say, now that he knew his job, he'd get it done.

Fenrir couldn't give two shits about impressing anyone..

Another done, now time to go do my other story... which is definitely the one everyone wants done.
