Author's Note: Okay, this is actually kind of hard for me to say, especially since I actually had some people that seemed genuinely interested. The ridiculously long time between updates stemmed partially from serious writer's block, and mostly from a computer that thought catching fire would be a good time. I don't know, maybe it was protesting me or something. I finally got my dinosaur of a desktop PC back up and running and I decided to sit down and do some writing, and I found myself facing a bit of a conundrum. I don't truly want to get rid of this story. I liked the flow of it, and the atmosphere it presented I personally thought was not horrible. However, in recent months I've had some time to think on it, and try to come up with where I want the story to go. And given where it is now, I can't really find a way to take it there. So, this story will, regrettably be on hiatus while I sort through my ideas. I may find a way to update it, I may scrap it and start fresh. Maybe start with a better title, because let's face, this one is almost like something I'd expect to hear given voice in a Capcom game. Specifically Resident Evil. I may also try writing other stories on the side, just to see how I fare, and hope it'll clear some of the excess baggage in my head so I can focus on this one. Again, to those that read and enjoyed the story, I do apologize, but as I said previously, this is my first venture into writing, and it's more like an experiment in what works and what doesn't right now.
