Chapter 4
A/N: Special thanks to samcheese1 for their idea for this chapter. If it hadn't been for them, there would have probably been another very short chapter that would have made everyone mad lol. This one is a little bit longer than they normally are. I hope everyone enjoys!
"So John was doing drugs in the house?" Daisy asked. Bo never seemed like the type to do that kind of stuff, but John may have been. She had never met him.
"Yes." Someone said. They looked to see Bo standing there. He had been listening to the whole story that Jesse had been telling from the doorway.
"Bo." Luke said as he stood up. "Where have you been?"
"Runnin' the General with Cooter." Bo said. "So what's this talk about my brother?"
"Um…" Jesse stuttered.
"Because he was a lying, no good jerk who only liked to hurt the people who cared for him." Bo said. Daisy, Luke, and Jesse looked at each other before looking back at him. Bo was unbuttoning his shirt.
"What are you doing?" Daisy asked. He pulled down the left side of his shirt to show a fairly large scar. "Oh my! Bo, what happened to you?" She asked. Luke stared at the scar.
"One night, John came home drunker then anyone on Saint Patrick's Day, and he had this switch-blade knife…"
"Johnny, what do you have?" Young Bo asked his brother as he saw him craving something into the tree that housed their swings. John didn't answer. "Johnny?"
"Shut up you little brat." John said. Bo looked like he was about to cry. He walked towards John like he was about to hug him. John swung around and the blade entered Bo's' chest. Bo screamed. John was scared as he pulled it out. He took off running.
"So Dad sent me to Uncle Jesse's and that's where I've stayed." Bo said as he started to button his shirt back up. Luke stood up, furious at what he had just heard. Bo looked up at him. "What are you doing?"
"He hurt my baby cousin." Luke said. "I'm going to kill the spineless son of a bitch." Bo stood in-between him in the door.
"No." Bo said. Luke went to go around him, but Bo pushed him back. "I said no! This is my fight. Stay out of it."
"We're your family." Daisy said. "Let us help you." Bo shook his head.
"This isn't you're battle." Bo said. "If John ever shows his ugly face around Hazard again, I'm going to take care of him myself." Jesse shot Luke and Daisy a look, warning them not to say a thing about John getting out of jail. They nodded their heads in agreement, but Bo remained on edge for the rest of the night. But who could blame him? The brother that almost ended his life before he even had a chance to really start living was coming back to town. And he had a plan in mind…
