Author's Note: I've always found drabblets to be quite fun to read. They're aloof and fluffy.

"Why didn't you go to the dance?"

"I don't know."

"You know, if you wanted to go, you should've asked someone. After all, it is Ladies' Choice."

Sam just crossed her arms and pouted. "I know."

"Why didn't you just ask me? You knew I didn't really want to go with any of the girls that asked me."

"Ask you to the dance? On what planet, Fredweird?"

Freddie didn't look amused. "I'm being serious." Sam just looked at Freddie's serious face, no expression on either her nor Freddie. "You should've gone. It wasn't the same without you."

"What's that supposed to mean?"
Freddie just shrugged. "I don't know- How about the fact that life is just so much more exciting with you around, Sam. You're the life of the party."

Sam smiled proudly, knowing she was often referred to as the "life of the party". She placed a hand on Freddie's shoulder as a gesture of gratitude. "Thanks, Fredley." She used her hand on Freddie's shoulder for leverage, pulling herself up to place a single kiss on Freddie's cheek. Freddie turned his head so he was face-to-face with the girl, a look of surprise was evident in his eyes. He was taken aback by her sudden show of affection, but he somehow liked it. He wrapped his arms around her waist, bringing her even closer to him. With their bodies pressed against each other, they could feel each other's warmth.

"Kiss me again."
